About the Author
DEAR OLIVIA
MARY CONTINI is based in Edinburgh and is a first-generation Italian Scot. As well as being a director of the famous Italian delicatessen Valvona & Crolla Ltd, she has written extensively for the Scotsman and appeared on many television and radio programmes, including co-presenting Scotland’s Larder on STV. She campaigns avidly to improve children’s diet and their experience of good food. Her previous books are Easy Peasy (with Pru Irvine) and Easy Peasy Sweetie Pie. Her most recent book, Dear Francesca, was shortlisted for the World Book Food awards. She is married with two daughters, Francesca and Olivia.
