Nana's Biker Friend Page 6

by Trinity Blacio

“Now that was not nice little lady,” he said as Mathew and another man followed him in. “I’m sorry this has to be done, but we can’t allow Alexander to claim you. He has to be the last of his family. There will be no more Winslows allowed to be born,” Mathew said, stepping forward with a knife as long as his arm. “Now, if you’re a good girl, we’ll allow your friend there to live. Come here, so we can end this.” She screamed as loud as she could as Mathew lunged for her, but Trent stepped in at the last minute, slicing Mathew’s neck wide open before he could reach her. Blood sprayed the room as Mathew went down, and Trent turned to face the unknown man. “Do you think I would allow you to actually touch Alexander’s woman!” Trent snarled as she inched her way to the bed. Slowly, not to draw attention to herself, Maria pulled an unconscious Sandy off the bed into the corner of the room.

Oh, the man watched her, but Maria knew he was torn between reaching for her and facing off with Trent. She huddled in the corner, the sight of the blood making her stomach queasy, but she held onto her friend tight.

What a fucking time to be without her gun, but even that might not have stopped the man who was coming after her. His head was shaved and a nasty scar ran down his cheek to his lip. Turning to leave, he was greeted by Alexander.

“You should have kept running, Grangers,” Alexander said before plunging another knife into the man, almost cutting him in half. “Radar, take this trash out and have our men clean this room.” All the while Alexander issued orders, his gaze never left hers.

“Trent, my father’s room, now,” Alexander said stepping over the bodies and coming to kneel before her. “Are you hurt?”

She shook her head, holding tight to Sandy.

“We need to get you two cleaned up. Can I carry her into the bathroom? I’ll face away from you while you clean her. We’ll tuck her into bed when we’re done.”

Maria took a deep breath. “Yes.” Blood soaked her robe, her hair, even Sandy was drenched in it. Alexander leaned over and placed a kiss on the top of her head before lifting her friend into his arms. “Can you walk?” he asked with a frown.

“Here, give me her friend. I’ll clean her up and put some new clothes on her. You need to be with your woman.” A woman stood next to them, shocking Maria. Next to her was Reese. The anger coming from him had her shivering.

“Maria, this is my mother, Kat. Do you mind if she takes care of Sandy?” Alexander asked, and she shook her head. She knew it was selfish, but right that minute, she wanted to be held.

“I’ve already called off the dinner. We’re going to have our meal in our rooms. Tara and Cain have been informed of what’s happened and will meet us in our suite. Take your time.” His mother took Sandy out of his arms and kissed his cheek. “She needs you.” Maria was grateful for Kat’s help. She was at the breaking point.

  Chapter Twelve

As soon as his parents left, Alexander faced his woman. She was still curled up in a ball in the corner of the room. He leaned down and scooped her up, hugging her tight. Come on, little one, I’m going to scrub you down in our bathroom.”

“Did you know Mathew was a traitor?” she squeaked as she buried her face against his chest.

“No! I would have never put him near you if I’d known. As far as Trent is concerned, I’ll learn more about him later.” Alexander pushed open a door at the end of the hallway, and she gasped.

“Wow, this is amazing. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful,” she squealed as soon as they entered the bathroom. “A claw-foot tub! I’ve always wanted one, but, well, never mind.”

He lowered her feet to the floor, but kept a firm grip on her as he loosened the bloody robe. “Wherever we live, I’ll make sure you have a claw-foot tub.” He pushed the robe off of her shoulders, and she stood there naked while he reached over and started the water, making it a little warmer to help with her shaking.

“Come on, baby, I’m going to sit you in the tub while I strip out of my clothes.” Alexander carefully placed her in the tub before stripping out of his bloody ones and joining her. Her expression was almost comical as she scanned him head to toe.

“You are a little bigger than normal, or is that normal for your kind?” Her voice cracked, and he laughed.

“We are larger than human males, I’ve been told, but not to worry, I’ll take care of you.” He took the washcloth and soaped it up. “I’m so sorry, little one, about your day. I wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to leave and never come back.” He shifted her a little in his lap so he could clean her face.

She reached up and tucked a lock of hair behind his ear. “Why? This is not your fault it’s theirs. There is one thing I learned being with the asshole. Don’t judge others by one person’s actions. You’ve been nothing but sweet and gentle with me.” Maria swung her leg around and fully faced him. She slid her arms up his chest. “I could never understand how my daughter could fall for Cain so fast.” She met his gaze and held it. “But she was right. Meeting the right person, it seems like you’ve been with that person forever. Nothing else matters except having their arms around you holding you. Make love to me, Alexander. I don’t want to wait.” She lifted up and was about to lower herself on him, but he stopped her.

“No, little one, we will do this right. Not in a tub. And I promise you I will never ever stop holding you, touching you, and needing you.” He covered her mouth with his, even though he got soap in it. He slid his tongue inside, and she whimpered; her nails dug into his skin as he teased and played with her tongue. A tear landed on Alexander’s cheek, and he broke the kiss. “What is wrong, baby?” He reached down and brushed the tears away, kissing each cheek.

Her lower lip started to shake and more tears slid down her cheeks as she placed her fingers on her lips. “That was my first French kiss in twenty-five years,” she cried and buried her head against his chest. Sobs racked her body, and all he could do was hold her.

“Oh, baby, it’s okay, Please stop crying. How can I be bad, if you keep this up?” He was rubbing her back when he heard the giggle.

She lifted her head, slowly. “I don’t know if you know how to be bad.” She hiccupped.

“Oh, really,” he growled and started to tickle her, earning squeals of laughter. Water sloshed all over, but he didn’t care. To see her smiling and laughing meant the world to him.

“You want bad, do you?” he teased and held her up in the air. “Well, guess what? When I take you tonight, your body will stop the menopause you are going through. In other words, there will be no more hot flashes, but you will once more have your monthly.”

A comical expression crossed her face. “Will I ever have hot flashes or mood swings again?” she asked, as if she didn’t believe him.

“Nope, never. You will always be able to have children,” he said earning a happy squeal from her.

“See? You are an angel! No hot flashes! Yes! Come on, let’s go find your bed.” She squirmed and tried to get out of the tub.

He laughed and dunked her under the water quickly before grabbing the shampoo. “Hold still while I clean you. You are forgetting we have people waiting for us.”

“Damn it, Alexander, they can wait. Do you know how many women would give their back teeth to not have hot flashes? No more sticking their heads in the freezer, changing the bed sheets in the middle of night because you wake up to a soaked bed.”

“I only care about one woman, and that is you.” He smacked her ass when she tried to get out of the tub again, getting a yelp. “I mean it. Hold still. You can wait till tonight.” She glared at him and rubbed her ass before sitting in front of him, pouting.

“I’ve changed my mind. You are mean.” She stuck her tongue out at him, and he laughed.

“Tell me, is that the only reason you want to make love, so you don’t have hot flashes? I mean, the way you are acting could give a man a complex. Maybe I’d like to romance the woman who holds my heart in her grasp.” He washed the soap out of her hair before quickly washing his
hair and body.

“Come, it’s time to get out.” He lifted her out of the tub.

“You don’t really believe that, do you?” Maria asked while he dried her.

“No, little one, but you’ve had a bad day. I don’t want to rush something that is meant to be beautiful between two people because people are trying to stop us. Believe me, Maria, I want you. My cock has been hard ever since I noticed you early this morning.” He grabbed her ass cheeks and squeezed. “There are so many, many things I want to do to you, and tonight we will start my long list. But before that….” Alexander dropped to his knees before her and gently laid her down on the towel on the floor. “A little taste won’t hurt.”

Alexander reached for her legs and placed them on his shoulders. “Don’t move.” With those words, he buried his face in her pussy, making her scream like an opera singer.

  Chapter Thirteen

“Don’t move,” he had said before he’d buried his face into her pussy and eaten her like he was starving. Maria squirmed in her seat and took a bite of steak as Alexander spoke with his father and Cain.

That should ease some of the ache, Alexander had said, but Maria was ready to scream, she was so frustrated. Oh, he might have allowed her to come, but that hadn’t been enough. Her body was humming and needed his.

“Honey, are you all right?” his mom asked her.

“I’m fine, thank you. Just a little distracted after all the excitement earlier.” It was true, but Kat would think she referred to the attack when both she and Alexander knew better. She peeked at him and he still spoke with his father, but he slid his hand under her dress, squeezing her upper thigh.

“Hey, Mom, what are we going to do about Doug?” Tara asked. “He won’t even answer my calls. I tried to call him after we left you earlier, but he won’t answer. Even his wife is giving me the cold shoulder. She unfriended me on Facebook.” Her daughter picked at the food.

“Hey, stop worrying.” Maria reached over the table and squeezed her arm. “You have to remember, he’s like his father, but in time, hopefully, he’ll come around. We’ll just wait and give him all the love we can. Does your father know?” she asked, and Tara confirmed it with a shrug.

“Got a call from him before we came here,” her daughter said, as all conversation stopped.

“Why didn’t you tell me he called? Did he start again on you?” Cain growled, making her grandson stir on the couch behind them.

“Stop it, you’ll wake your son. He missed his nap already,” Tara hissed. “Plus, he’s my father, Cain. I can’t ignore him all the time.”

“So what did he have to say?” Maria asked, knowing she would hate the answer.

“The normal stuff. Dad being Dad.” Tara took a drink.

“Okay, Tara Marie, spill it. I know your father; there is no sense in hiding it.” Maria reached for her coffee and gave her daughter the look.

Tara laughed and threw her napkin at her. “Stop it! Fine. He was just being hateful, Mom. You know what a prejudiced pig he is. He went on and on about you having to go to another species to find someone who would, well, you know.” Tara waved her arms as she stood up and started to pace. “Then he went on to compare you and me. He’s my father. How can he be so cruel?” Tears rolled down her cheeks. Maria rose and held out her arms.

Tara flew to her, wrapping her arms around her, holding onto her like she had as a child. “I thought I could try and soothe him, but he was so nasty. What if Doug is the same way?”

“Doug has part of me in him. I’m hoping he’ll come to his senses one day.” Maria brushed her daughter’s hair back. “You’re so much like me. Even as a child, you had my traits strong in you. I’m afraid your father knew this and resented it. Since I’m not around to strike out at, I’m afraid he’s going to strike out at you, baby. I’m sorry. If I could stop it, I would.”

“You might not be able to, but I am.” Cain took Tara into his arms. “I love those traits, and your father is an ass. But not to worry. I won’t kill him yet. I’ll allow Alexander that pleasure.” Cain winked at Maria before leaving the room with her daughter. Maria turned to see Alexander had swung his chair around with his legs spread out in front of him.

He held out his hand to her and Maria placed her smaller one in it. “It would be easy to kill him, but I know that would hurt your children. He will get a nice visit from me before we leave Detroit.” He yanked her down into his lap. “I can’t have him calling my future wife names, can I? You know, I really do love this dress. I do believe green is your color. I think you should wear this color for our official ceremony. What do you think, Mother?”

“The choice should be hers, but you are right. Green is beautiful on her. So you will be residing in your home?”

“We haven’t decided, yet, but I want her to see my home before we make choices. Of course, we will have a place here, near her children.” He leaned over and nipped her ear.

Every time he touched her skin, Maria believed he was tormenting her on purpose. Twice, she had tried to rise, but he held onto her.

“You should come back home, Alexander. You know the house was meant to be yours when you found your woman,” his father said. “By the way, the rest of Grangers’ men have been found and dealt with, but I would take precautions, since it’s obvious others are not too happy about our family growing. Oh, and Nella has left the damage small.” His father smiled at his wife. “Why don’t we tell him our good news?” His father waited about two seconds before informing them himself. “You soon will have a brother or sister. Your mother has finally agreed to have another child since you have found your forever woman.”

“That is great! Congrats to you both. But aren’t you a little nervous about starting over again?” Maria asked his mother, who climbed into his father’s lap.

Tara and Cain once more coming into the room. Her daughter was much calmer that Cain had taken her into the other room and they had a talk. Cain sat down next to them with Tara in his lap.

A small tap on her arm drew Maria’s attention. “When I met Reese, I told him up front that, with his family being so powerful, I would only have one child at a time. Until Alexander had found his woman, we waited. Now that I know my son has someone important in his life to love, it’s time to have another bundle of joy. Who knows, maybe we could raise our children together, if Alexander gets busy tonight. I would love to hold a grandchild in my arms.” His mother’s attention swung to Brian, on the couch. “Even though having that little guy there around us will be nice. He is a very smart child, Tara. Are you planning on having more?”

“Well, I wasn’t going to say anything….” She grinned at Cain, who stiffened and jerked like he’d been punched. “We’re already expecting. I took the test this morning.” Cain growled and hugged her daughter tight.

“Yes! I’m going to be a grandma again!” Maria shifted to see Alexander and swallowed. The heated expression on his face would have melted the North Pole.

“I guess then we will have to try and make a special bundle of our own, tonight, won’t we?” He slid his palm to her lower stomach. “Just think of all of the fun we’ll—”

She covered his mouth with her hand. “Shh, there is no need to announce everything. Plus, I don’t know if I can get pregnant. Remember, I was going through the change,” Maria said as his family laughed with him.

“Sweetie, I hate to burst your bubble, but once Alexander releases his seed inside you, all bets are off. Matter of fact, aren’t human women more fertile when they are changing?” his mom asked his dad.

“Very much so, I’ve been told. You should also know that our pregnancies are a little different. My wife might be pregnant, but you won’t be able to notice for about four to six months. The child also has a longer time in the womb. Alexander was in his mother’s stomach for over a year.” Reese chuckled.

“What? A year?” She groaned. “That right there could be a reason to hold off.” She almost bit her tongue when someone banged on the d
oor.

“Easy, no one will touch you again, Maria.” Alexander held her tight as Radar went towards the door, her stomach in her throat, but what really had her seeing red was having her ex-husband walking into the room with her son, which was not good.

  Chapter Fourteen

Alexander rose and pushed Maria behind him. “We will deal with this.” He nodded at Cain, who placed Tara in the seat he had vacated.

“Don’t move,” Cain ordered, and swung around to deal with the man in question. “What do you want? It’s late, and this is a private dinner.”

“I was invited,” her son challenged, and Alexander stepped forward.

“Yes, you were, with your wife and family, not him. I suggest you take your father and leave. I will not have him in my parents’ room, upsetting the women here,” Alexander stated, watching the weasel of a man.

“I’ve come to speak with my daughter. This is no concern of yours.” The man’s voice was like that of a child, whiny. “Tara, you need to come home with me, baby. You don’t need to be around all this danger. If your mother wants to act like a fool, that is her business, but I don’t want you risking your life for her or anyone else.” He held out his hand, and Alexander thought for sure Cain was about to bite it when Tara wrapped her arms around him from behind.

“Cain is my life, and I will go nowhere without him. You need to leave, Father, before you open your mouth again. Doug, I don’t know what to say. We had hoped you would come to your senses, but I now see you will turn out just like him, prejudiced to the bone. Really sad if you think about it.” Tara tugged on Cain. “Come back to the table. Radar can show these guys out.”

The red-faced man focused all his anger on Maria. He pointed his finger at her. “This is entirely your fault, you fat bitch—” Alexander slammed him up on the wall, banging the man’s stubborn head against it.
