The Vegas Random Page 29

by Ellie Gerrard

I was the luckiest woman in the world. I would love Chris and Charlie until my dying breath. I would tell their children about them and ensure their legacies lived on. I would love Ian with no more guilt. No more fear. For he was here and he loved me.

  Despite being bat shit crazy.

Ian was waiting, leaning against the car. He looked happy.

Seriously, how was it legal to be that beautiful? And how come he never has a damn hair out of place? Geez, I can’t get my hair to even sit in a mum bun.

“Happy?” he asked and smiled that megawatt smile that could and would every now and then, get him out of the doghouse.

I nodded. “Yeah. I am. Are you?”

He smiled. “Yes, I am. More so when you’re cleared to have sex.”

I laughed, dirty bastard. “Nor, can I. Come on, let’s go home.”

We got in the car and I looked back to Charlie’s grave and smiled.

His Vegas Random. His love. His Jackpot.

“You know I’m yours. All this crazy just for you.” I turned to Ian with a big smile on my face.

“Yes Beautiful. Just like I’m all yours.” He chuckled. He took a fist of my hair pulled me to him over the center console and kissed the hell out of me.

When he broke the kiss, I collapsed in my seat breathless. Lusty eyes on my beautiful husband.

He smirked as he turned on the car, put it into gear and put his hands on the steering wheel. “I love you. Don’t for a second think that I will ever let you forget it either.”

I smiled as I watched him drive. “I love you too.” I sighed.

  Amy

I watched her leave the hospital with my babies. Now she’d been to Charlie’s grave. I hated her. Ian looked happy though. She still wasn’t who he wanted. She would never be who he needed.

I watched him drive away kissing her like he should’ve been kissing me.

After she embarrassed me so badly and stole my man…I hated her more.

Just like Aria. Fucking bitch. He only loved her because she could sing. She was nothing but an injured bird, crying in distress.

I smiled, as I thought of Aria, so eager to please. So easy to manipulate.

  So easy to kill…

Bide my time, plan it carefully. I don’t want it to look like Ian did it…

I went to Charlie’s grave, pulled down my panties and pissed on his grave. He was the reason I wasn’t with Ian. He’d always been in the way. Not anymore.

I walked from the cemetery. Planning my new life with Ian. Minus Kate and her little bastards.

  ABOUT ELLIE GERRARD

I live in Queensland, Australia. I’m a mother and wife to two people I love dearly. I apparently have too many books (like that is actually a thing, I think it more like not enough house). I started writing young. Reading started even earlier. I love to bring new life to characters. I have a big imagination and a big heart. I’m that quiet one that will unexpectedly drag a perfectly clean conversation into the gutter and I swear way too much. Hubs tells me, I’m as honest as a brick to the face. But that’s just me. Something that I’ve taken a long time to learn is to…stop putting yourself last.
