That’s why it surprised me that she got dressed, after we shared an intimate dinner inside our rooms.
“Going somewhere?”
Lila smirked, “Yes.”
She crawled back into the bed and kissed me softly.
“I love you, but I’m being selfish and claiming all your avatar’s time. I’ll have your body for the next who knows how long of a stretch as we go through Jennesar like a storm. I’m not jealous, and I know you love Ebony too, as much as you do me, if differently. She’s your company in the dungeon, a librarian, far sweeter than I am, and in a very real way she’s the one who taught you to love, it sure as hell wasn’t me. I wasn’t capable of love until you remade me into your angel. So, call her, use the new grow spell, and spend a night with her. It’s the very least I owe to the little sister of my heart. I’m going to bounce around Jennesar a bit and scout tonight, see if they’re doing anything obvious.”
I knew that last was simply an excuse to give us privacy, but I didn’t argue. I had been trying to figure out a way to spend time with Ebony in my avatar body without causing a problem, and Lila had just handed me the answer so to speak. It was complicated having two lovers, even if both were officially servants, I loved them both far too much not to care about how they perceived things.
I pulled her down into a long kiss, “Thanks love. Be safe.”
She just smirked as she pulled her armor on, belted on her sword, and teleported away…
Chapter Six
I took a quick bath first, it just seemed like the right thing to do. I also used a little magic to clean up the sheets. Going from mind to mind in the past, I’d never had to worry about left over fluids before. Another thing I had to do first, was work on the privacy spell I’d put up for Lila and I, and I made it so it would also contain any demonic aura from escaping the room so that Ebony’s presence in the castle wouldn’t be detected. It had occurred to me I didn’t want well-meaning people breaking in to kill the demon on the loose while I was making love to her.
I was also highly nervous for some reason I couldn’t pin down. I was changing again, and was far from that clueless and heartless entity that had woken up just months ago. The one who had callously offered Lila the choice of serving me, or being snuffed out of existence, with about as much emotion and caring as asking someone to pass the salt at dinner.
Life was far more full and wonderful, although it far more complicated as well. My thirst for revenge still drove me, to get back at the ones that had imprisoned and banished me. The plans for it were actually going forward in a short nine or ten hours from now. Yet, I’d learned life was far more than that, and took joy in both Lila and Ebony. Even the dungeon was different now, I used to itch for the kill, but now I was content to just make it a challenge. If they died, that was okay too, but I wasn’t eager for it any longer.
It was more than just the power I had now, or the fact that I really didn’t need the deaths to grow anymore. I’d far more power available at my fingertips than I needed, gained just by destroying my enemies. Like yesterday in the crown city, the day before at the border, or tomorrow in Jennesar.
Point was, I’d changed so much over the past few months, that I wondered if I’d even recognize myself in a hundred years. Or a thousand. Or ten thousand…
I shook off the thoughts, I’d try to leave the self-reflection and growth to my core, which could multi-task thousands of things at once. I smiled as I thought of Ebony, and was thankful to my dark angel for thinking of this.
“Sexy?”
“Nurien?” she sent through the link, her mind voice a little confused. I’d always contacted her from the crystal in the past, and she could perceive the difference in the mind speech from my avatar over our bond, which accounted for her confusion.
I said, “Why don’t you take the night off from the library, and come join me. I’m all yours until I leave at dawn little imp.”
She teleported to me as her response, just two seconds later, and looked me up and down. I may have been naked, and mostly hard already in anticipation. This would be a first of sorts, outside of our shared dreams anyway.
Then she blushed as she looked up into my eyes, “Master,” she said softly.
I cast the spell and watched in satisfaction as it worked flawlessly. Except, I’d forgotten one thing in both my eagerness and our shared lust, and I winced as her dress was torn apart as she grew. She giggled and posed, which in her full size of over five feet was most definitely not cute, but all sexy seduction, soft curves, and nubile flesh. Her soft brown eyes tinged with red were filled with desire, and I was sure my eyes were a matching set as I drank in her beauty. I’d seen it all before of course, her rounded breasts were ridiculously perky considering how large and succulent they were. Her soft leather wings fluttered as her tail curled up. She had the face of an angel, but a body out of this world and built for sin.
Literally built for sin, demoness after all, even if she was probably the sweetest, happiest, and most loving demon in existence. Her angelic face was also probably for her to deceive others with, but demon or not her personality was far more angelic than demonic. She would insist that’s because I’m such a good master, but it all still came from her.
I couldn’t see it since we were facing each other, but I could picture her deliciously firm bubbled ass, and already wanted my hands on it. I was fully hard now, as the vision of her along with her scent reached my nose. She was perfect, to me. So different from Lila, yet still just as perfect if in a different way.
My heart raced, and my cock twitched, as she closed the distance between us, and I kissed her teasingly as she slipped into my arms. She pasted her body against mine as if it belonged there, crushing my manhood between us, and she pushed her breasts into my chest as our kiss deepened in passion and need. I’d planned to make love to her tonight, and then hold her all night. I’d never slept with her either, woke up with her beloved face against my chest, and I wanted that too.
But clearly, making love was going to have to wait, as her sweet breathy moans of soft feminine desire drew out a groan of pleasure of my own. She may have been loving and sweet, but sometimes hard and fast was the only option. Our lust seemed to mix and feed off each other’s, perhaps through the link, and before I realized that I’d made the decision, I already had her bent over the bed. My hand between her wings, pushing down on her back to hold her still.
She mewled in need, spread her legs a little, arched her back, and lifted her ass as high as she could, offering herself to me lewdly with needy little gasps.
She cried out, “Master!” as I speared her hard and fast. The pleasure of her warm tight body enveloping, squeezing, and caressing me with tight silken wet friction as I drove into her, was almost too intense.
The snug velvety caress of her heaven was incredible, and I gasped as her tail circled around, and started to softly massage my balls as I started to drive in and out of her sweet and tight, yet voluptuous body.
I was mesmerized by the way her bubble butt vibrated and bounced each time I drove into her, or spanked her, and she gasped in pleasure as I reached up and pulled her hair with my other hand. There was nothing gentle about it, just a hard and fast rutting from behind, and I’d be hard pressed to figure out who was enjoying it more.
Ebony begged, “Harder, master please!”
I lost myself in the rhythm of our bodies, as she bucked back into me, and I slammed into her. The soft paradise of her core, the scent of her rising arousal, the feel of her ass as I spanked her, and her silken hair in my other hand. The feel of her soft tail. I was lost in all of it, the sensations, the pleasure, as we both rutted and took pleasure from the other.
Until she screamed out, and then froze in ecstasy, her voice cutting out as her body started to tremble and her core started to flutter, milk, and beg for my seed. It was too much, and my knees went week, and my balls tingled as my cock expanded almost painfully. Then all that tension broke as pleasure washed over my body,
and my seed spurted into her grasping sex. I filled her with my essence, as the pleasure never seemed to end. But it did, and I came down slowly, gently caressing her ass where I’d been so rough earlier.
“I love you Ebony.”
She purred, “Love you too Nurien.”
I pulled out and laid back on the bed, and she crawled up my side and snuggled into me. We shared a fierce intimacy that almost belied our mindless joining for pleasure just moments ago. The rest of the night would be different, sweeter, and softer. More loving, but no less intense.
And we did, after we made love for hours she snuggled into me, and I fell asleep with her in my arms…
Chapter Seven
Selwyn said, “You know this is crazy right. Two people are doing all the fighting, and I’m supposed to leave just one paladin in charge of a whole town or city?”
He shrugged, and then laughed, “You saw him fight at the border, didn’t you? If anyone can back up that kind of boast Nurien can. From what I understand, it would be you and a second cleric doing most of the work converting and sanctifying the temples to our gods. The paladin wouldn’t really be in charge of anything, just preaching a few times a week, and answering questions about the church after the rest of the group leaves. Oh, and training any young light affinities you find.
“Obviously, it will be a rotation, we won’t just leave one person there very long, and we’ll have to have roving clerics go between the seven towns and three cities until we have enough to go around. It won’t be easy, but it’s not crazy. Maybe switch out every six months?”
Selwyn sighed, “Yes, it’s doable but we’ll be vulnerable.”
He nodded, “We will, we already are, and it will take a couple of generations or more to grow strong again. But even just the first generation should help tremendously. I want you to be careful, and make sure the paladins know not to take large risks. If a large force comes to retake the town, contact Nurien to handle it and all that. Try to get to know him if you can, and figure out where he’s from, and why he hates Jennesar so much.”
Selwyn nodded, “Alright, we’ll get it done. It will take three or four generations, but I suppose we’ll be twice as strong, in two kingdoms. You know what’s really bothering me about this?”
He asked, “What’s that?”
Selwyn said, “I don’t think he hates the Jennesar people at all. Nurien implies the church is his true enemy, but I think he’s actually going after their gods. He has the power to just walk in and destroy the church I think, but his plan goes out of its way to convert the peasants, which will weaken and could even cause their gods to fade if they lose them all. I wonder if that’s his true purpose, and he’s just destroying the church as an allying move for Nysten.”
He was thoughtful for a moment, “Nurien saved us all, saved the church, and now is offering to help us rebuild it even stronger even if it will take sixty years to do it. I… maybe asking him questions isn’t such a good idea?”
Selwyn laughed, “I’ll play it by ear, but I hope he has no hidden agenda. One thing I do know? If he’s mortal he’s the most powerful one I’ve ever met. Enough, I need to organize if I’m to be ready at first light.”
He said, “Be careful my friend, and come back when it’s done.”
Selwyn nodded, and then left his office.
He looked over to Liren, who looked happy. He was still continually startled at how much she seemed to love, admire, and adore him. They hadn’t been together very long, but their time together had been intense, and filled with a lot of honest conversations. He genuinely couldn’t think of anyone he knew better, she didn’t hide anything from him, and as a result he’d freely shared of himself.
“Dinner?”
Liren smiled, “Sure, I can make something.”
He shook his head, “No, I meant, let me take you do dinner? There’s so much to do, but I don’t want to forget to take a break occasionally and enjoy us. Besides, I’m done with everything I needed to do that relates to the mission tomorrow. Nothing else is critical.”
She stood and her smile grew wider, he’d have to remember the little things, and to not take her for granted. He’d be very busy for the next century or two, but Liren was the love of a lifetime. He couldn’t afford to screw it up. The church was his life, but he realized Liren was now a big part of his life too, and deserved his attention outside of carnal pleasures and their shared bed in the night.
She was so much more than just those two things to him, which meant he had to show that she was. At first when they got together, a date would have been impossible, they were on the run and in hiding. But now… he was free to court her. He in fact, was already thinking about making it official, and marrying her.
She took his arm when he stood, and they walked out of the temple district, and over to one of the better inns with a tavern, which had live music, dancing, and better than average food. They shared a meal at a small private table, and he surprised her when he danced with her. They stayed out late, and then made love when they got home, with the lightest of touches, and the smallest of tender and pleasure filled movements.
It was their first date, and it was a night he’d remember fondly for the rest of his life. Liren was his joy.
I was fixed, and back open. The dungeon I mean. Donnell was obviously worried, and had written a report that a powerful female entity had attacked the dungeon, and had as far as he knew, been killed. But he admitted he didn’t have proof of that. He also reported that the dungeon seemed to have saved several people from cave ins, and that the monsters didn’t attack the adventurers when they were thrown off balance and made extremely vulnerable by the entity.
Well, that wasn’t good. No good deed went unpunished. Apparently, I should have let them all die. Well not really, I was just nervous about the guild’s response, whatever it would be. Anyway, I’d repaired all the damage the goddess bitch had caused, which had been a lot, and then turned the teleport alcoves back on.
I wasn’t sure what I’d do if the guild decided I had to be destroyed. I could either try and explain, kill them, or simply abandon the dungeon and shut it down. I was loathe to do option three though, I really enjoyed the challenge of the adventurers. That left either coming clean on what I really was, or killing them. Neither of those options appealed either, so I hoped Donnell’s message wouldn’t lead to my condemnation by the guild. Maybe it wouldn’t, it wasn’t all that bad after all. I hadn’t killed adventurers, and had even protected them from a crazy goddess.
I think what scared Donnell the most was that the powerful female entity as he called her, had failed to destroy me. I had to admit, that was a rather large giveaway that I was more than I appeared to be. Still, I hadn’t had any choice, the only way to safeguard my secret would have been to let her kill me, which wasn’t a true choice.
My avatar was on its way south with Lila and the humans, and I had to guess that my crazy plan might actually work. After all, if it was doomed to failure why would that goddess have gone to such extreme lengths to kill me, or been so afraid of me? It was always nice to get confirmation on those types of things.
I checked on the gnomes, who still weren’t done with the large golems or war golems. That wasn’t exactly a surprise, it’d only been a day since I checked last. But I did replenish their supplies, so that they could focus on finishing the golems, and building new traps and puzzles, instead of gathering resources.
I could also reach farther now than ever before. It wasn’t just my avatar that was causing me to evolve emotionally, because the market was fascinating to watch. Cooks, merchants, adventurers haggling instead of fighting, and there were even whores available to take the edge of the adventurers after a hard day in the dungeon, both male and female.
Another exciting thing was I could now reach far enough into the earth to use the high pressure and heat as a source for fire. It wasn’t as powerful as the underground river, or even as strong as the gnomes were for earth, but the natural heat and pre
ssure deep in the earth was still a better than no fire source at all. Now I had a source for all six spheres, and air seemed to be the only weak one.
I moved my focus to the three masters that were on the nineteenth floor. It was rare for me so far, but apparently the word was finally getting out there, and more powerful adventurers were coming out to check out my dungeon. I guessed their rating was at master level one due to their shown strengths so far, and their auras.
There was a warrior with armor that looked like silver, but obviously wasn’t. He was wielding a two-handed staff sheathed in metal, with three inch spikes on one end, and a nasty looking curved short blade on the other. His name was Mark.
There was a cleric as well, which all the best groups usually had. The most surprising thing was she was an elf, and wielded a kind of baton in her right hand which was obviously a light artifact of some kind. It seemed to enhance her spells. Her name was Maeve.
The third was a fire mage wearing red robes. He had several rings on him but nothing out of the ordinary that I could sense. To be fair, I really couldn’t dive into things when people were still alive, their auras prevented that. His name was Jason.
They were moving through the forest slowly, clearing out a path with judicious uses of controlled fire and light spells, and keeping out of reach of the trees and roots. I was also tracking Kaley and Jernith. Jernith was creeping after them in the shadows of the trees above and to the side, no doubt waiting for a chance to dart in for a backstab attack. Kaley was holding onto a nasty dark magic curse in her left hand, and had her scimitar in her right, which seemed to eat the light around it. She was set up for an ambush a hundred feet ahead of the cautious adventurer party. The dark elf war-mage was one badass woman, and with her assassin lover’s assistance they were beyond deadly as a team, but so was the group of adventurers.
