  Epilogue

  THE AVALON TROUBADOUR

  SEPTEMBER 2, 2006

Mr. Philip Bellamy of Manhattan and Ms. Pamela Lightsey Bellamy, also of Manhattan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Olivia Jane, to Connor Davis, son of Terence Davis of Avalon, New York. Ms. Bellamy graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University, and is relocating to Avalon following the wedding. Mr. Davis is the owner of Davis Contracting and Construction in Avalon, and this fall, will be building a new home on the river road. An August wedding is planned. The couple will take over the management of Camp Kioga, which is scheduled to reopen as a family resort next summer.

  Afterword

  Dear Reader,

There is something timeless and magical about summer camp. Set apart from the rush and care of everyday life, camp can take the heart places it doesn’t ordinarily go. The quiet lapping of the lake at the shore, the flicker of birds through the trees, the night sky filled with stars—these are the images that inspired the creation of Camp Kioga on Willow Lake.

There are more stories to tell about the Bellamy family, their friends and rivals and the people who come unexpectedly—and uninvited—into their lives. Coming in February 2007, The Winter Lodge is a brand-new story filled with love and laughter, secrets and surprises.
