She tried. Goddess knows she tried to breathe, but she was sobbing, her body clenching and her pussy and ass demanding their seed. “Please,” she begged them, something she tended to do a great deal with them. “Come for me. Now.” She was demanding now.

Volos was moving faster, his cock sliding in and out of her slick pussy with great ease. Drake was moving slower, thrusting deeper and hard into her ass as she clenched on them both, as her body raged for more, needed more, demanded more.

She was never going to survive this, the possession that they stamped upon her body, the way that they both demanded more and more from her, and she greedily gave it to them. She was going to fall apart, she was going to shatter into a million pieces and knew it. “Please,” she begged now, no longer demanding but pleading for them to come with her once more.

Volos leaned in closer to her and sank his teeth into her throat. His cock twitched inside of her pussy and he came with a muffled groan against her throat, his hips bucking up against hers.

Drake, though, was showing remarkable restraint behind her, Thrusting his cock in and out of her ass slowly and then quickly, teasing her and drawing everything out. “Scream for me, Azy,” he ordered her. When she did, he slammed his cock deep and she felt the heat of his semen as he spilled into her ass.

Azy went limp in their arms. Her arms gave way and she was thankful that both of them were holding her up as much as they were. Lifting a weak arm around Volos’s neck, she held him close as he fed from her, climaxing yet again from the feeling of her blood being pulled by him, the caress of his tongue to her neck, all of it. She didn’t speak, simply moaned and shivered.

Volos slowly pulled back, licking her neck to soothe the bite and, she knew, close the wounds. He brushed a kiss to her skin before lifting his head to press a quick kiss to her lips. “We are going to have to clean you up again,” he said, his voice a little rough around the edges.

“I think that I will just sleep, if that’s okay?” Already, Azy was practically asleep in their arms and it was just not good. They hadn’t been awake a long time, but she was just so tired, and so damn well pleased. She was happy and sated, both emotionally and sexually, and she was able to have time without any of the Dead coming to her. It was a true blessing.

“You sleep, and we’ll clean you up and then collapse,” Volos told her. He pulled his softening cock from her pussy with a groan. “I’ll get a cloth and towel,” he muttered before weaving off in the direction of the bathroom.

Drake lifted her off his cock slowly and then laid her down on the bed, sitting next to her and stroking a finger lightly over her cheek.

“I love this.” Azure whispered to Drake, her eyes closed, simply relaxed there on the bed. “No dead talking to me, no push or pull on my ability, and having two of the hottest, sexiest and most amazing men to call my own? Yep, I’m a pretty lucky lady and I so could get used to this. I might be exhausted, but I’m well and truly loved.”

“You definitely look tired,” he said softly. His hand moved to cup her cheek and she felt his lips on her other one a moment later. “You should get some sleep, little one. We will need to return to Earth tomorrow and then it will begin all again, I’m sorry to say.”

She sighed and nodded. “I know. Don’t leave me? When one of you isn’t touching me, I feel them trying to get in. Please, lay down with me and hug me?” When she was skin to skin with either of her mates, the dead seemed to leave her alone, something she was profoundly happy for.

The bed shifted around and she felt him along her side. He pulled her in closer to him and wrapped her in his arms. “I would never leave you alone to face the press of the dead, Azure. You are my mate. I would do anything for you, princess.”

“Just as I would you,” she replied softly and cuddled in close to him. “I love you, Drake, forever.” She felt Volos returning and didn’t move when he began to clean her. Another yawn escaped her, and when she felt Volos settling in behind her and pulling the blankets up and around them, she finally closed her eyes. “Goodnight, my mates,” she whispered and drifted off to sleep.

  Chapter Nine

Maurice and Graven were waiting for them when they came across the Veil. And they didn’t look overly pleased, either. Then, that was a common expression for both men where it concerned her. But her mates didn’t appear all that concerned by the men’s apparent upset. They greeted them in chipper tones as they led her straight to their vehicle.

Azure greeted her guards with a smile and wave. She was happy to see them, but not so happy to be back on Earth. Slipping her hand back into Drake’s, she gave it a squeeze and moved in closer to the heat that radiated off of him, waiting on Volos to join at her other side. “Hello gentlemen, how was your down time without me?” she teased her guards.

Both of them glowered at them all. “Fine,” Maurice finally muttered. “And you?” he asked with a narrowing of his eyes.

“Quite enjoyable,” Drake said with a chuckle. “We got in a lot of very healthy and adventurous exercises in. Took our time to sleep in a bit and relax. Spent time together and got to know one another better. But really, the exercise was probably my favorite part. Azy, what was yours, love?”

“Definitely the exercise. I think that you should ensure that I have that form of exercise daily. At least. Perhaps two to three times a day?” She was grinning like mad. The more her guards growled, the more she wanted to giggle, oddly enough.

“I think that could be arranged.” He nodded. “Once in the morning, once at night and then at least a couple throughout the day.”

“For sure around lunch. She’s always ready to exercise right after lunch,” Volos said.

“Good point,” Drake said. “So, easily five times a day.”

“Enough!” Graven said with a glare at them all.

“I agree.” Azure looked at her guards and grinned. “I missed you guys, too,” she said and moved forward to give them both hugs. She then moved back between Volos and Drake and let them take her hands again. “Now then, please tell me that we are going to have some food?”

Graven grunted as he eyed all three of them up. “She looks well rested,” he said.

  “Yup,” Maurice muttered.

“She looks like she’s been fed at least once,” Graven said.

  “Yup.”

“She doesn’t look like any of her fingers were broken at any point,” Graven narrowed his eyes on her.

  “Nope.”

“So, how is it she couldn’t call us and tell us that she wasn’t in her damn Realm?”

“’Cause she’s mean and cruel and knew we’d be flipping out,” Maurice grumbled.

“And now she wants us to feed her?”

“Apparently. But I want pancakes, so wherever we go, they damn well better have pancakes,” Maurice said, pushing off the truck.

“Fine, we’ll get you your damn pancakes.” Graven shook his head. “Come on, get your asses moving. We have shit to discuss and shit to do after we feed grumpy ass.”

Azure grinned and looked to her mates. She didn’t speak aloud, but mouthed, look at pot calling kettle black. She then looked to her guards again and smiled. “Okay, take me and feed me. I really am starving,” she teased. “And now that you have mentioned pancakes, I’m craving them, so yes, we need to get those wherever we go.”

“I know a place,” Volos said as he tugged her toward their truck. “It will even have something for the grumpy wonders to sink their big teeth into. You can have your pancakes, they can have a rancher’s breakfast full of meat and shit. I can have coffee,” he said, rolling his eyes at her as he opened the door. “Lots of coffee.”

“Sounds good to me, and they are the ones that mentioned pancakes, not me,” she said with a grin. “And I just told you that I totally wanted them. And yes, we need to make sure that they get lots of meat so that they are hopefully less grumpy later.”

“I think those two need to get laid,” Volos muttered. He slid in next to her as Drake
took the wheel. She was sandwiched between them.

“Who needs to get laid?” Drake asked. Of course he heard that. Hopefully Maurice and Graven hadn’t.

“Huey and Dewey,” Volos said. He caught her look, too. “What? I watched Saturday morning cartoons back in the day, sue me.”

“You’re right, they are rather uptight, aren’t they?” Drake asked as he pulled out of the parking spot and headed for the road. Maurice and Graven, in their truck, were right on their tail. “So, Vhamp boy, where the hell are we headed?”

“Head straight up here until we hit the edge of the city and then take the right by the old Coke billboard.”

“Saturday morning cartoons? Huh?” Azure had never been to Earth before the first visit earlier in the week. “And they are the way they are because they’ve had to watch over me my entire life. Poor guys are just overworked.”

“I’ll find you some to watch, you’ll get the reference after a couple of episodes. I do get why they are such sticks in the mud, but really, they do need to loosen up,” Volos said, squeezing her hand. “That, and realize that they are not going to get to watch over you all the time from now on. It’s not their job anymore.”

“This is very true,” she said with a smile. “I am certain they know that they won’t be able to watch over me day in and day out. And I would like to see it, them loosening up, that is. I don’t think that they have even had one moment of time where they weren’t completely uptight and anxious.”

“Oh really?” Volos said with an odd sort of glee in his tone. He shot a look to Drake who, when she glanced his way, had the same mischievous smirk on his lips. “Well, well, well. Isn’t that just a very interesting little tidbit to have.”

“Oh, mercy. What is it that the two of you are planning? And keep in mind that I actually really do like my guard, even if they are sometimes far too stiff and proper. I love those guys like big brothers.” Which was true.

“Nothing,” they both said in perfectly innocent and angelic tones. If not for the snicker that Volos gave, she could have almost, almost, believed them. “There’s the sign,” Volos said, pointing out the window. “Take the right just before it and follow the road until the diner comes into view.”

“I don’t think that I want to know now,” Azure said with a smirk. “Because I have a feeling I would try to talk you out of whatever it is that you have planned, and something tells me that you both will do this for them as much as for your amusement.” She hoped.

“Sure, we’ll go with that,” Drake said as he made the turn onto a secondary road. Shooting her a grin, he shrugged. “For me, it will be mostly for the amusement factor. But if it helps them to loosen up, it’s worth it.”

“Goodness. Okay. Well, whatever you think is best.” She asked softly, “Just please don’t push it too far? They actually have very big and soft hearts. I know that it’s hard to believe, because they are so gruff and such, but they actually are real softies.”

“Most males of the Races are,” he said gently. “Especially when it revolves around an amazing woman.” He bumped his shoulder to hers gently and slowed down as the diner came into sight. Turning into the large parking lot, he drove through the lot until he found a spot near the door. He swung the vehicle around and pulled into the spot backward before shutting off the engine.

“Why did you park like this?” she asked with a frown. “Not that I’m complaining, because it actually will make leaving easier, but I’ve never seen anyone park like this.” Then again, she didn’t take vehicles many places at all, and when she did, the vehicle was parked away from the building she might be going to and then gone over with a fine-tooth comb before she got back into it.

“We can see it easily from inside, and should we need to leave quickly, we can. Facing out is the best way to park when we’re going into a building we’ve never been into,” he said to her. Opening his door, Drake slid out as Volos did the same on the other side.

“Good idea. Yes, anytime I’ve gone places on my home world or on another of the Realms, there has always been a guard on the vehicle, and it was either parked in protected parking or constantly moving. Seems as if I’m learning more as the time goes by.” She was learning a great deal with her mates, it seemed.

“Come along, little mate,” Volos said with a smile, holding out his hand to her. “Let’s get inside and feed one of our hungers, shall we?” She knew he said it that way because Maurice was just getting out of their truck not more than a couple feet away.

“Sounds good to me.” Oh, she wanted to feel a great deal more of her mates than just their hands in hers, but she needed to rein that in. She needed to corral the lust and desire she had for them and simply allow her libido to come to the realization that she couldn’t have them inside of her all the time.

Drake inhaled deeply as they came around the end of the truck and he shot her a heated look. His lips curled slowly as the Draygon flashed in his eyes. “Volos got you thinking about it again, didn’t he?” he asked softly as he took her free hand.

“Yes, gosh blessed it, he did. I can’t help it. All it takes is a look or a whisper from one of you and I’m instantly needy. It’s not his fault any more than it is mine. So yes, I can’t help it,” she grumbled.

“You really won’t be able to for about two weeks, longer if we don’t get some down time here and there,” he said. Pulling open the door to the diner, he kept her in place until Maurice, then Volos went in. She went in next, with Drake and Graven at her back.

“Then I suggest that we get down time, because if not, I’m positive that I will be a raving lunatic before this is all over and done with.” Azy moved to the back of the restaurant on the heels of the woman who greeted them at the door, and took a seat at the large round table.

“I can’t see it,” Volos said as he sat on one side of her. Drake settled on her other side, while Maurice and Graven took their own seats and angled them slightly. “You as a raving lunatic, I mean. But I think it would be interesting to see, once anyway, just to satisfy my curiosity on the matter.”

Azy just looked over her shoulders at her mates. She could see herself becoming a raving lunatic. Heavens, even now, she wanted nothing more than to strip naked and attack their beautiful bodies. It didn’t matter where they were, she wanted them, now, and knew that it was only because of this new bond that was formed between the three of them.

“Resist the urge in public,” Drake said softly as Volos handed out menus. “Definitely resist the urge when the grumpy twins are around as well. I doubt that they would take well to you stripping down and jumping our bones.”

“Good point.” They could read her far too well, her men could. She adored that, but it also scared the bejesus out of her that they could read her so well. Shifting in her seat, she looked up at Drake and Volos. “I will work on my control, promise.”

“Not too much,” Drake suggested with a wink. Pressing a kiss to her cheek, he rubbed his nose to her skin lightly. “I happen to love you just as you are, Azy. Don’t change for anyone, especially for those of us that love and adore you.”

“Good, because I don’t think that I could change if I wanted to. I really don’t. I know how terrible that sounds, but the truth is that I’m pretty set in my ways.” Azure had been around for a while and she was rather set, but she was also now complete because of having her mates in her life.

He chuckled softly and shrugged. “No more than I am. Volos, though,” he said with a sigh. “I’m still hoping we can change him just a little, at least to the point that he doesn’t leave his clothes wherever they fall.”

“This is a good point. I really and truly would love to be able to not have clothing all over the place if you wouldn’t mind, please.” She didn’t want that, at all. “I don’t like messiness, at all. I would be very upset with him if he did that.”

“One time, one time,” Volos protested.

“At least a dozen plus,” Drake said.

  Volos snorted and
shifted in his chair. “It was one time. The others don’t count because, while I did drop the clothing, I picked it all up inside of five minutes. The one and only damn time that he’s bitching about so loudly, I was dead tired and couldn’t have moved even if the house was on fire.”

Azure squeezed Volos’s hand and grinned at him. “Honey, I am just giving you a hard time. The look on your face is utterly priceless but you need to know that I’m just teasing you.” She leaned into him and kissed his cheek. “I love you. No matter what you do, I will always love you just as you will me, and all of my foibles.”

“I already love you, but your foibles, I’m just not sure what that is, so I’ll go with it as well,” he told her.

Drake snorted and then coughed. Maurice leaned over and pounded him on his back. “I think he may have just inhaled that mouthful of water instead of swallowing as he should have,” Maurice explained to Azy.

Azure snickered. “Okay, enough playing.” She was starting to feel the draw of the dead and hated it. She slipped her hands into her mates’ hands and held onto them, the calming presence enough to make the whispers retreat, thankfully.

  Chapter Ten

Once more, she and her mates were sitting outside of a highly fortified building in the dead of night. This was their sixth such raid in nearly three weeks. They hadn’t had a lot of downtime, but her men had insisted on a few days here and there, which, for her own sanity, had been a very good thing.

Right then, they were waiting and watching carefully. The AEDA backup teams were close by, yet far enough back not to mess with what they would be doing. It had taken some damn fast and fancy footwork to get the AEDA to agree to the three tactical teams for backup. The only reason they had agreed was because of Drake, and Volos, of course, and the fact that they had done a number of high-risk jobs for the AEDA, off the books no less, something she still knew nothing about since no one was talking about it. Maybe one day.
