Morgana blew them each a kiss before joining their parents.

Leo could hardly wait to get Rebekah alone. It had not escaped him what their wedding night would bring. It was their duty and pleasure to consummate their relationship.

Her lips were so delectable, he wanted to ravage them. Her eyes darkened as she gazed back at him, and he could hear a change in her breathing. A thrill of excitement rushed through him, and he knew she felt the same.

“I love you so much,” he said.

Rebekah kissed him on the lips and ran her fingers through his golden hair. “I love you, too.”

“Should we retire for the evening so I can rip that dress off you?” he whispered.

She smiled and said, “Is that a promise?”

Leonidus growled as he ran his hand across her thigh. “Come with me.”

Once they were free from the crowd, he rushed to get her abovestairs and into his chambers.

When they made it to his room, Leonidus turned to look at her and closed the door behind him. She flushed, but there was a hint of a smile on her lips. He kissed her passionately, and her body melted into him. She wrapped her arms around his waist, her lips pressed against his. He couldn’t seem to get enough of her, how her sweet skin tasted and how her plump lips felt against his. There was so much more to experience together…

When they broke apart, Leo rested his head against hers. “I will need you to guide me, to tell me what you want and how to touch you.”

She gazed up at him and smiled, though he noticed a shift in her breathing. “I honestly have nae idea. It’s something we will have to figure out together.”

  “Together,” he agreed.

Between heated kisses, they began to shed their clothing and made it over to the bed. Her gasps of pleasure only encouraged him. The scent of her hair and skin seemed to envelop him as he kissed her neck and collarbone, tasting every inch of her smooth skin. Slowly, he laid her back onto the mattress and undid the front of his breeches. It was their wedding night, and he intended to be with Rebekah in every way possible.

  “Ah! Leo, please…” she cried.

He released himself from the confines of his clothes and dropped them to the floor. Rebekah’s eyes grew hungry when she saw his nakedness and she beckoned him to come to her. Leonidus didn’t hesitate and climbed onto the bed on top of her, kissing every inch of her skin that he could find. He allowed his hands to roam over the curves of her breasts and waist, until she was purring with desire.

He had never felt more connected to another person and could scarcely tell where his body ended and hers began. As their gazes locked, he carefully positioned himself between her legs. She nodded to let him know that she was ready, and in one swift motion, Leo entered her. He hissed with pleasure at the feel of having her body wrapped around him. She threw her head back and gasped.

All he could feel was the heat of her body pressed against him as waves of desire mixed with primal need. Once she grew accustomed to the feel of him inside her, Leonidus started rocking back and forth. Every movement brought new waves of delicious pleasure.

Rebekah responded enthusiastically by digging her nails into his back and raising her hips to meet him. He wasn’t sure how long they made love, but it was perfect. By the end, they were both exhausted.

“I love ye,” she told him breathlessly. “So…so much.”

He gazed down at the beautiful woman he was married to and couldn’t help but smile. Her light brown hair was in disarray and her skin was flushed from making love. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

Leo propped himself up on his elbow and kissed her. “And I love you.”

“I still cannae believe ye dinnae tell me who ye were. I feel like such a fool for not realizing it myself!”

Leo sighed as he brushed her hair back from her face. “You told me how you were frightened of my father. Well, it doesn’t excuse my behavior, but in all honesty, I was nervous to meet you. I’d been dreading the prospect of marriage for so long, that I just wanted to see what you were like. I never meant to lie to you, but when you mistook me for a guard, I seized the opportunity. I didn’t know how to tell you the truth. I am sorry for causing you grief. Will you forgive me?”

Rebekah laughed. “I already did the moment I saw ye in the chapel. Ye were the one I wanted to be with. Just promise from now on, we will be honest with each other.”

  “I promise.”
