“Are you kidding me Danny!!! You deserve this. Molly deserves this. It is going to be so amazing. I am kind of jealous I am missing the big question. I can’t wait to hear the good news. Call me ASAP.”

“I will, promise. Love you. I will text you once we land safely. Thanks again for everything.”

They exchanged hugs and Alyssa left.

A few hours later Sarah got home from her last shift before their holiday. It was late. Molly was fast asleep even though she resisted, the excitement too much.

“Danny I’m home,” Sarah said as she dropped her purse and yoga mat.

Danny waltzed in with a glass of wine and kissing her on the forehead.

  “How was your shift?”

“Good. Had a strong mama and a healthy baby in the end. Can’t ask for more,” she said with a smile taking her glass of wine and sipping.

“Glad to hear,” Danny said taking her glass and setting it down after her sip.

“I’ve been waiting.” He said while sliding his hand down her hip to her ass and squeezing. “I was thinking we should have some fun. Might be hard with Molly around in Maui.”

“Oh like that has ever stopped you,” Sarah said while wrapping her arms around his neck and jumping up to wrap her legs around his waist. “Take me here on the counter Doctor Struthers. Make sure you make it count. Could be a week before you get this again,” Sarah said sarcastically.

Well Christ. This girl just knows how to drive a man wild. Danny was half joking but his dick was hard as rock and clearly there was no turning back after that invitation.

“Oh I will make it count,” he growled. He picked her up and she threw her head back and laughed as he carried her to their bedroom.

Sliding her yoga pants off Danny discovered she was wearing no panties.

“You better have worn panties at work you little vixen.”

“Oh don’t you worry. Nothing but professional. There is this really hot doctor on pediatric oncology though. Been dying to grab his attention,” she said mockingly.

“Ohhh is that so? Tell him you’re taken,” he growled.

“So quit talking and take me.”

Danny tore off his clothes and the last of hers. Throwing her on the bed and spreading her legs he went right for the sweet spot. Using the tip of his tongue he circled her clit while his left hand groped her breasts. Sarah moaned, “Danny, oh Dan… oh, my, Danny!” Her juices flowing and Danny feeling extremely accomplished that it took exactly less than three minutes to make her orgasm.

“Remember that time I fucked you as a virgin?” He said with so much lust it was melting down the walls.

Danny lined his tip up to her juicy entrance and stroked her up and down. “Yes. How could I ever forget? Best day of my life,” Sarah said breathlessly.

“I want to fuck you just as bad as I did in that moment. So fucking hot.” As he slid his member into her wetness.

“Ohhh you feel so good, tight. Just the way I like it.”

“Where are we going for supper Daddy?” Molly asked while Sarah put her hair in a ponytail.

“I booked a table at a traditional luau. It going to be delicious.” Danny said. His nerves were starting to get to him. His plan was to pop the question tonight. As long as the timing and moment were right. This ring was burning a hole in his luggage and he just wanted to get this over with and celebrate the future with his gals. Assuming she says yes but he was pretty confident.

The entertainment at the luau was unreal. They feasted on poi, Kalua pig, poke, lomi salmon, opihi, haupia and beer. Traditional Hawaiian music was being played by a local band and hula followed. It literally was the most perfect night. Sarah and Molly got invited up to hula with the dancers and that is when Danny knew. Now or never. As Sarah and Molly were hula’ing their way back to the table Danny took a deep breath and pulled the small black velvet box out of the inside pocket of his sport jacket. Sarah was completely oblivious. As she got close he got down on one knee. Molly was right behind her and figured out what was happening before Sarah did.

“Daddy!!” she screamed. Sarah, shocked, clasped her hands to her mouth.

“Sarah, I can’t imagine our life without you in it. I never thought I would love again like this. The moment I saw you that literally all changed. Will you marry me?”

Barely keeping his shit together, he managed to choke out those simple words with tears in his eyes.

“Oh my God Danny!! Of course I will!!!! YES!”

Molly and the luau crowd all started clapping and cheering as Danny and Sarah embraced after he slid the ring on her finger.

“I love you Sarah, with all my heart.”

  “I love you too Danny.”

  Full Throttle Series

  Chapter One

  JULIE

I knew I was looking hot as hell.

My tight black dress was intended to be that way because confidence was the key to successfully pulling off the job I was about to do. The dress showed off my legs and made flirting seem as natural as possible, even while my eyes were already scoping out the club and trying to find the way towards the top floor.

That top floor? That was my goal—and if a short dress and a flirty attitude made me just like all the other women here and wouldn’t get me any extra attention, then I was all for it.

I had all the time in the world to change into a loose shirt and binge on ice cream and Netflix once I was done.

I checked my watch. According to my sources the club owner didn’t come in until around eleven, which meant I still had about an hour to pull this off. Time to start.

I turned to the man beside me, who was busy regaling me with a story about some heroic thing he did some years ago. This was after bragging about his cars and houses, too. I gave him a brilliant smile, rendering him effectively distracted. Then, before he could speak again, I excused myself and slipped down towards one of the narrow hallways, breathing a little bit easier when the club music died down. I wasn’t a big fan of places like this to begin with, but I had a job to do.

And I needed to do it fast.

A quick peek at the end, and I finally saw the stairs. Bingo.

One last look around determined I was still alone. Good. I took a deep breath.

Then I climbed the stairs as quietly as I could.

I was in the club owner’s office in no time, and I had to give him points for keeping the door unlocked—and for having a library full of books in it. It took me a few minutes to browse his wonderful collection before snapping out of it and realizing I needed to get this done and get out of here fast.

Now where on earth was that necklace?

My cousin, Mallory, had “borrowed” my necklace and lost it somewhere here—according to her. What she was doing here in the nightclub when she should have been with her fiancé, I had no idea. But I had to find that necklace because it was very precious to me.

Fifteen minutes later, a search throughout the owner’s drawers didn’t produce any results. I was about to resort to getting down on the floor and searching the carpet when I heard it—the sound of the knob turning.

  Oh, no.

I ducked down immediately, crawling inelegantly to hide under the desk as the door closed and laughter filled the room. Great. I could hear a female voice and a male voice, but couldn’t hear what they were murmuring to each other. My heart rate sped up. Was I going to get busted?

Oh, God. Was I going to get arrested?

A bump on the desk had me freezing. Then freezing turned to complete stilling at what followed next.

The woman moaned—a high, tinkling sound that unmistakably meant pleasure more than anything else. I heard clothes rustling, and lead filled my stomach as I realized what that meant.

Another moan, followed by a groan—this one from the man, deep and low and utterly guttural. It made my toes tingle, and I didn’t like it.

Then the man spoke, and the tingles turned to a full-blown h
eat spreading in my stomach.

  “You like that, sweetheart?”

  He sounded…sexy.

  “Yes, Scott. Please.”

  “Tell me what you want.”

“Touch me, Scott. Oh, yeah, just like that…”

“You’re delicious. I can’t wait to fuck you.”

Oh, my God! This couldn’t be happening!

Another bump on the desk and my horror escalated as I deduced the woman was probably sitting on top of the desk now with the man kissing the life out of her. Was she spreading her legs for him? Was he undressing her and kissing her with that naughty mouth? Was he—

Another moan, another groan. Panic hit me as another thought occurred.

  Had Mallory come here to…?

I covered my ears. But it didn’t muffle the voices at all.

And it certainly didn’t erase all the erotic images flashing through my mind the entire time.

Well, they didn’t have sex. But Scott did finger his “sweetheart” out and made her explode, and I had to cover my ears harder through the whole process. By God, but the woman was loud.

To my surprise, Scott declined the woman’s offer of a blowjob, saying that his cock inside her mouth could wait. Unable to help myself, I rolled my eyes under the desk as the woman left. Couldn’t the woman see that was a lie? He was obviously done with her.

I was now pretty sure this was the club owner who wasn’t supposed to be in this early, and the man who could make a woman moan like no other.

Now added to the resume: womanizing sweet-talker. I could hear him talking to another woman on the phone, promising her he would be visiting for the weekend.

  Such naïve women.

I waited him out, pretty sure he would be leaving in a few minutes to check out the club scene, as was apparently his habit. Once he was gone, I was going to search the place again, then escape as soon as I could…

My thoughts trailed off when a shadow fell in front of me. Then, shoes.

Dumbfounded, my gaze trailed up, taking in the sight of slacks encasing hard, muscled thighs, and a dark-blue dress shirt that hugged what had to be the broadest chest and shoulders I’d seen in a while. His arms all but bulged out with his sleek muscles. I looked further up, found a very emphasized jaw and full, sensual lips. A straight nose, a shock of bronze hair…and very blue eyes looking down at me hard. It was the face of sin itself.

It was also a face I recognized.

Shock hit me. It was Scott McCall, the famous race car driver.

And at the moment, he didn’t look pleased.

“What the hell are you doing under my desk?”

  Chapter Two

  SCOTT

  I couldn’t believe it.

There was a woman under my desk—a young, pretty woman who was now standing up and looking like she would rather be anywhere else. The way her nerves seemed to encompass her had me thinking she wouldn’t reply to my question at all. But before I could repeat it, her mouth was already opening.

  “I can explain,” she said.

  “Do it fast,” I warned.

The woman steeled her shoulders and looked me in the eye. She was wearing a short black dress that wasn’t by any means unique—but the way it hugged her curves had my eyes trailing over them, from her creamy legs to that perky butt. More trailing and I was rewarded with a view of tight-looking breasts with a tasteful display of cleavage. A slender neck, dark brown hair in a chignon and hazel eyes that looked innocent and sensual.

A mouth that was pink and looked absolutely kissable.

I was wrong. She wasn’t just pretty. She was stunning.

I shook my thoughts off and caught on to what she was saying.

“—and so I’ve come for my necklace, which my cousin had brought here, and I swear I’ll be leaving as soon as I have it.”

  “Cousin?” I asked.

“Yes, my cousin,” she confirmed. I noticed she was edging towards the door and that just wouldn’t do. When she noticed that I was following her every step she finally stopped moving and steeled her shoulders again. “The engaged cousin you’ve probably…slept with here.”

Well, that sounded like an accusation. I raised a brow. “And what is this cousin’s name?”

  “Mallory Davis.”

My memory flashed to a woman who’d claimed to be a Mallory just last week.

  “Oh. Her.”

“Yes, oh,” she said, disapproval in her tone. “Now can I have my necklace back?”

I shrugged. “I didn’t sleep with her. She tried to come up here, and we made out. I found out she was engaged and I threw her out.”

The woman stared at me in disbelief. “Right. Well, it doesn’t matter. I just want my necklace.”

She was backed up against the wall now, and I took the opportunity by taking one more step until we were just inches away from each other. I heard the moment her breath stopped and realized she wasn’t as unaffected and calm as she looked.

Still taking advantage, I placed a thumb on her cheek, inhaling her scent. A hint of mint soap and woman. Wonderful.

  Deliberately, I lowered my voice.

“I can help you…find it,” I whispered. “Right here, right now.”

  Silence.

I waited for the effect, knowing how easily women fell for a line like that—hell, I even used it on the woman earlier, whom I suddenly didn’t remember the name of. This woman here now had all my undivided attention and I couldn’t wait to touch her and make her moan, then—

My thoughts were interrupted when she did the most unexpected thing.

She laughed—laughed right in my face, and not in a flirty way.

“Oh, my God,” she said. “Do women actually fall for that?”

I blinked. Then I stared. Hazel eyes stared back at me in disbelief and amusement, like she found it extremely funny. I narrowed my eyes as she ducked down and slipped away from the wall, like a slick little thief.

“I mean, come on. You just finished pleasuring another woman—”

“And I could pleasure you,” I said.

“—and called some other bimbo for a weekend fling,” she finished, not at all deterred.

I stared. Then I chuckled, which confused her in turn.

“Did you just call my mother a bimbo?”

Her cheeks turned pink as she realized her mistake. But she tilted her chin up in determination. “I’m not here to be another notch on your bedpost,” she ground out. “And I’m sorry for invading your space.”

“And for interrupting my night with a woman,” I added.

Hazel eyes widened, and I tried to hide my smile.

“Yes, for that, too.” She sighed in exasperation, though she capped it off with a polite nod.

“And for accusing me of sleeping with an engaged woman.”

Propriety turned to outrage. “I never accused you.”

“Your face said it all, sweetheart,” I said.

“Julie,” she corrected—then seemed to regret it.

This time, I couldn’t stop the grin from spreading on my face. She blinked; then tried to look away. Then she cleared her throat.

“Well, it was…uh, nice meeting you. I think it would be better if you just contact me when you do find my necklace.”

“Scott McCall,” I said warmly, holding out a phone. “And I need your number so I can contact you about…the necklace.”

She stared at me in suspicion. Then she snatched the phone, touched the buttons and returned it back to me almost cheerfully.

  “You’re beautiful,” I couldn’t help from saying.

“You’re incorrigible,” she shot back, shaking her head.

Then she was headed for the door before I could even blink. Holy hell, this woman was elusive.

  “Julie?”

  She stopped. Turned.

“I’ll be seeing you again,” I whispered. “And you’ll like it.”

Julie’s eyes flared—with annoyance, with disbelief, and with something else
entirely. I held on to that something else, watching her eyes darken before settling back to normal. Pink fluttered on her cheeks. Then she was out of there as fast as lightning.

A part of me wanted to snatch her hand and pull her back—to find out what her lips tasted like and if her voice would be as arousing when she moaned. Her scent still filled the air, and my cock stirred in response to it. But I held back, watching the door close with three certainties in mind.

First, I was definitely going to see her again.

Second, she wanted me and was annoyed by the attraction.

  And lastly?

I was going to enjoy seducing her.

All thoughts of the woman named Julie left my mind as the night progressed. I hadn’t seen her at all when I went back downstairs to check on things, and things got busy as a huge crowd from a nearby office party came over and extended their celebration in the club. My business partner, Jay, was back in town after being in Paris for almost a month to check up on his new business venture there.

Technically, I was only a partial owner of this business—more like an investor really, because I wanted to get my money into something substantial. Jay had been my friend since college, and I’d immediately grabbed the opportunity once he said he had an opening for a partner. That was almost a year ago, and I’d done my best to do my part by being the go-to person when he wasn’t around.

“You should have given me a heads up that you’d be back in town,” I said when we were finally back in his office—or our office. It was past midnight, and we both crashed on the couch with glasses of scotch in our hands to unwind. “I could have told you to just go home and rest.

“It was a rush ticket. Besides, I kind of miss this place,” he replied, taking a sip. His head was tilted towards the bookshelf, and I waited for the verdict. “Nice addition. Can we burn those books now?”
