A familiar sound caused me to wake up from my deep slumber. It was the small alarm clock that I had on my night stand. As I opened my eyes, I looked over at the device that not only bore the time, but also showed the date.
“Shit,” I muttered to myself. I had forgotten to turn off the alarm. And so here I was walking up at seven on a Saturday morning. I threw myself back in the bed, and soon dozed off again, sleeping for another two hours, before finally getting up to start my day.
Normally the first thing I did every morning was check my emails. I would do it while having a cup of tea; it had become some sort of habit for me.
“Delete, Delete, Delete,” I muttered as I browsed through almost fifty junk messages.
“OH! What’s this,” my eyes popped open at one of the messages that I had received. Hey there Beautiful the subject of the message read. I quickly opened the message with curious eyes, anxious to read the contents. Just like I had suspected it was a response from one of the three men I had contacted last night on the sugar daddy website I had joined. I read through the brief message three times, just to make sure I had read everything in it. His name was Alec Strong and he was from Jacksonville, Florida.
“Would love to meet you, take you out for dinner and probably set sail on my yacht some time,” he had said in his message.
“YACHT! I loved the sound of that. A man with a yacht,” I deliberated a little thinking hard as to what to say in my reply. I left my inbox for a minute and opened a new window, browsing over to the website, so I could view his profile to reacquaint myself with his details.
Alec Strong, Real Estate Broker I'm a simple guy with exquisite tastes. I love traveling; taking my yacht out to sea, or my private jet to France or Italy. Anywhere you want to go Alec can take you. Looking for a fun, and sexy sugar baby, to spoil silly.
His profile seemed very clear, he did not mention anything about his marital status and that bothered me a little. In Miami it would be almost impossible to find a handsome well-off bachelor.
“He must have a WIFE or a PROBLEM,” I told myself, trying hard not to get too excited. After a few minutes of thinking I finally sent him a reply, basically telling him that I was interested in getting to know him. The message I sent him was almost similar to my very first message to him.
“Ping” I looked curiously at the monitor trying to figure out where the sound emanated from. I soon saw that I had just received a new message from the website where I had been logged in. It was Alec Strong.
“Wow, he’s online at seven thirty in morning,” I thought to myself, looking to the bottom of the computer where the time showed. I smiled I read his second message. He was going to be in town next weekend and wanted to take me out to dinner at “Petite Paris,” one of Miami cities most elegant restaurants. Like the name suggested it was like a miniature taste of Paris serving a high quality of famous French dishes. Only the wealthiest people could afford dinner there.
I quickly typed a big “YES” in bold font, letting him know that I was one hundred percent interested in having dinner with him. Then I shifted my attention to locating my mobile phone, I had to call Suzie to update her, about the entire situation. “He-hello…” she said in very sleepy voice. I knew that I had caught her at a bad time, but I did not care, I wanted to brag about my future date to her.
“Get out of here. No way. Petite Paris.” She said in disbelief when I told her.
“Yep that’s what you heard girlfriend, I’m having dinner there on the weekend,” I bragged.
“You know what that means right?”
“Black Card baby!” We both shouted out together. Suzie and I would normally use this phrase whenever we spoke about somebody who was insanely wealthy like one of our favorite celebrities. One time we had gone to a taping of a popular TV show and while we were on the line outside waiting to get into the studio, we saw the guest celebrity who happened to be one of the wealthiest actors in the world. Suzie was sure that he had given her the “eye”.
After the show she had managed to push herself through security and we had found ourselves back stage. We had been speechless, when Damon Mann greeted us. And why wouldn’t we be, he was only one of the cutest, most successful actors on daytime television.
“It’s okay Bobby,” he had said to his body guard, who was almost at the point of throwing us outside. I had tried to control myself, while in the presence of this television God, but Suzie couldn’t she babbled on and on about how she loved his work, loved him for the matter.
“You love me now, wait till you meet my Black Card baby.” He had said arrogantly.
That night we had the most amazing night of our life. It was simply unbelievable and beyond imagination. Damon Mann had had his limo pick us up and then the three of us went for dinner at another famous restaurant. The food there had been amazing and at the end of the night the three of us went back to his condo and had another private dinner. However this time the only things on the menu were boobs, dick and pussy. We had never heard from him after that day, but his words resounded in our minds, “Black Card.” Only people with black cards could dine at some of Miami’s best restaurants’ like “Petite Paris”.
Suzie and I spoke for a while before finally ending our call. After ending the call I walked over to the window to see what type of day I would have. The sun was out and it looked bright and beautiful outside, I decided I would spend my day at the park. I took a long hot shower and headed to the ATM machine a few steps away from my apartment. “Shit,” I muttered to myself, pulling out my last twenty dollars from my checking account. I needed to get something to eat but it was my last bit of money and so I was unsure whether I wanted to use it.
“What the hell,” I thought to myself, walking over to the small Burger King restaurant around the corner.
“Let me have a number five please,” I held out the money to cashier. My only twenty dollars was about to be in a cash register at Burger King.
“I’ll get that,” a firm masculine voice said.
I turned around almost instantly to see who the stranger was. A warm smile graced the face of the young man standing to my side.
“Hi.”
I gave him a curious look, unsure whether I should answer his greeting. Did I know him? His face had a hint of familiarity in it, but I just could not really figure out how I knew him. He must have noticed my puzzled look because he proceeded to remind me of where we had met.
“You don’t remember me, do you? Last night… The bar…” he said slowly as if he were trying to get me to guess.
I shook my head from side to side, giving him a pensive look. “I’m sorry don’t remember much about last night,” I finally admitted sheepishly.
“I dropped your friend off at her house; I was in the car with Joey…”
I continued to give him a lost look.
“Mike. My name’s Mike, we met last night,” he finally added.
“OH…Mike…Hey…”I opened my mouth wide and carefully articulated every word.
He gave me another warm smile as we shook hands. He looked a bit surprised to see me. Was it because of my outfit? Last night I looked amazing with my hair curled up, wearing a sexy little black dress, however today I looked less attractive. I had hurriedly put on a loose pair of jeans and a black tank top, while my hair practically screamed out to have a brush run through it. I know that I had bags under my eyes, for I had noticed them in the mirror while coming out of the shower.
“That’ll be six fifty sir,” the older woman behind the counter interrupted. She had been standing there impatiently waiting for us to be done with our chatter. Without hesitation he took a few steps towards the front of the counter where he could pay.
“Holy Shit,” I blurted out. This average guy pulled out a black MasterCard to make the payment. My eyes almost popped out of their sockets. How did he have a black card? Why did he have a black card? My head was spinning with questions, it seemed impossible for Mike, a bar tender, t
o own a black card.
I have always been known to be loose with my words and this time was no different.
“You have a black card?” I asked him with a puzzled look on my face. I leaned in closer to him, to ensure that I heard his response accurately. This I wanted to hear. How did a pauper like Mike have a rich man’s toy?
His face tensed up and he gave me a serious look.
“Oh my God. Did he steal it?” a scary thought crossed my mind.
“It’s my dad’s he got it for me when I graduated from college. I don’t usually use it unless I’m really down and out,” he then gave me a faint smile.
“Oh,” I said cautiously breathing a slight sigh of relief.
“Your dad must be pretty wealthy,” I said to him, glancing over at the black credit card that the cashier was now handing back to him.
“Shit I forgot to place mine before she swiped it,” he said, cursing under his breath.
“I hate when it happens too, I hate swiping my card twice at the same store,” I teased.
“Go ahead, I’ll pay for yours,” I continued, pulling out the twenty dollar bill that I had crumbled in my back pocket.
He was hesitant about letting me pay for it, but I insisted upon hearing that he had chosen to only get a milkshake.
“You’re on some sort of diet?” I asked curiously.
“No just saving the space. I want to have a decent lunch somewhere else. With you?” he informed me.
Oh shit, I thought to myself. This is why Suzie never leaves home in a mess. How could I go into any decent restaurant dressed like this? I looked down at the pair of pink slippers that I had on. I almost gasped in horror when I saw my toes. I was in dire need of a pedicure.
“There’s a great restaurant a few blocks down. Shall we?” He said holding out his hand to me.
I placed my hand in his and he led me outside to the parking lot. I scurried the cars, anxious to see what type of vehicle he was driving.
“I hope he’s a sports car type of guy,” I said to myself as we walked across the car park.
Surprisingly we kept walking and walking, passing car after car. What the heck was going on? We walked so much that we had now left the Burger King parking lot and we were now on the side walk walking down.
“Damn, he was not a sports car type of guy, he was not an SUV type of guy, and he was not even a pickup truck type of guy. He was a “NO CAR” type of guy,” I thought to myself.
I blamed myself for making assumptions; I should have known that he was without a vehicle from last night when he had hitched a ride from Joey.
Just when my dream of finding a young man with a Black card seemed like it had come true, I made a shocking realization. He was a daddy’s boy. Much like a mama’s boy, he was still very dependent on his father. I could never be with Mike, I would enjoy the lunch but that would be the furthest our relationship would go. Although I was not materialistic and I believed in true love no matter what, I simply could not see myself with a guy who did not even have a vehicle.
CHAPTER THREE
Although I was somewhat disappointed at the fact that Mike did not have a car, I still managed to get through lunch with him. He was surprisingly funny and I found myself laughing the entire time. Maybe I should forget my standards for a while and get to know Mike a little better I thought to myself, as I enjoyed the delicious surf and turf dish that I had ordered.
We exchanged numbers after our meal and he walked me back to my apartment. He was quite a gentleman the entire time, he did not once try to force himself upon me, or give me an unwelcomed kiss.
“I really enjoyed lunch,” I admitted just before entering my front door.
“Me too, I’d love to take you out sometime.” Mike gave me a warm smile as he spoke; I was very attracted to him. His dimpled chin and deep green eyes seem to make him my dream guy, forgetting the fact that he did not have a car or a good job.
Perhaps next week, when I get my car out of the repair shop,” he continued, maintaining that smile that he had on his face.
I breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing his statement, “Great, he has a car,” I thought to myself.
He gave me a suspicious look. It was then I realized that I had just said exactly what was on my mind. “What?” I asked curiously to find out whether he’d heard what I had said.
“Oh, I just thought I heard you say something,” he laughed. We both seemed a bit silly, asking questions that seemed to be about absolutely nothing. I was happy that he had not heard what I had just said.
We soon said our goodbyes and I opened the door walking inside my small apartment. With the door shut, I closed my eyes and savored in the moment. It felt like love at second site, being that it was my second time seeing him. Something about Mike was very appealing to me and I just could not quite put my finger on it. Maybe it was his striking good looks, his silky blonde hair or his deep green eyes? Did he even know he was that attractive? I took a long deep breath, trying to stop myself from fantasizing about this young man; I had only spent a few hours with.
I walked over to the couch switching on the television, flipping through the channels mechanically, searching for something, anything interesting to watch. It was a long weekend; classes on Monday had been cancelled because of an expected snow storm.
“Oh goodie,” I thought to myself as I found one of my favorite sitcoms that I had not seen in a while.
I was doing twenty two credit hours in college and most of my classes were back to back. Between homework, group work, exams, I just could not find the time, to just sit down relax and enjoy a good television show. I pulled out the soda I had gotten from Burger King from the brown paper bag.
“Desperate times,” I muttered sipping onto the watered down drink. I hated it when the ice would melt into my drink, it would be like drinking flavored water. The sound of my mobile phone disturbs my quiet time, picking it up I looked at the screen waiting for the name of the caller to show on the automatic caller ID. It was Mike. For some reason I had the feeling that he would call me, it just seemed like we really had a connection.
I took a deep breath trying to put on a soft sexy voice, “hello,” I answered softly.
“Hi beautiful.”
“Hey there, handsome,” I teased.
“Handsome. So you think I’m handsome, really?” He gave a soft chuckle with his statement.
My heart raced and I tried hard not to scream out with joy. I was very happy to hear his voice, he was so calm and collected and he spoke like he was in control of everything. My God, this young man had my head spinning without even realizing it.
So I just spoke with my mechanic and I should have my car by Wednesday. So we’re on for dinner this weekend if you’re free”. He sounded like he was telling me, rather than asking me and I did not at all mind. I liked it when a man would just take control of a situation. With that, I remembered my moment of passion with Mike’s boss, Joey.
“Oh my God,” I thought to myself, “I hope Joey, does not run his mouth and tell Mike what happened.” Although I liked Joey I preferred hanging out with Mike, he was more laid back and calm. I could be myself around Mike; we had spent hours at the restaurant talking about school and just life in the city. The time I had spent with Joey on the other hand, there was much less talking done, and more fucking. I had enjoyed the sex with Joey, but I was at a point in my life where I was looking for much more than just great sex.
“How do you feel about Petite Paris?”
I gasped in shock, so loud that Mike heard me on the other end of the call.
“What’s wrong did I do or say something to upset you?” He had a worrisome tone in his husky voice.
“Oh no,” I swallowed hard. “Not at all. I’m fine,” I took a deep breath.
I had almost forgotten that I would be having dinner with Mr. Alec Strong, the older gentleman that I had recently connected with online through the new website I had just joined. He too wanted to have dinner with me at Petite Pa
ris. In no way would I be going out to dinner with the two men at the same restaurant in the exact same weekend. What would the restaurant staff think of me? I would seem like a hooker. Not wanting to decline Mike’s offer, I decided to suggest that we have a nice home cooked dinner at my apartment on the Friday evening.
“You cook, wow! I love a woman who knows how to cook!” His voice was filled with excitement.
At that moment there was a knock at the door, “hold on there’s someone at the door,” I informed him, as I held the phone to my ears and silently walked towards the front door.
“Who is it?” I called out from behind the door.
The voice from behind the door was a familiar one and I was so startled that I dropped the phone to the floor.
I picked it up frantically, unsure what I would say to get off the phone with Mike without hurting his feelings.
“Hey,” I said opening the door slightly.
“Hey yourself,” the man at the door looked me directly in the eye waiting for me to open the door to let him in. “So you going to invite me in,” he continued.
“Oh I’m sorry,” I said frantically. What were the odds? While I was on the phone with Mike, Joey had decided to show up at my door. It had been a while since I had seen him; I had not spoken to him since our night of passion.
I opened the door slowly and before I could finish opening it, he was inside. . He kissed me suddenly causing the phone to drop to the floor as his tongue swept through my mouth feverishly.
“Oh God, I needed that,” he whispered in a husky voice as we broke off our kiss. “Pick up your phone girl,” he ordered, with a serious look on his face.
“You busy,” I heard Mike’s curious voice at the other end of the line. He must have heard the male voice in the background. I panicked, I did not want to lose Mike over Joey’s sudden horniness, yet I did not want Joey to stop. This was a new exciting experience for me and I did not want to choose, I wanted to experience them both, without any reservation or fear.
“No I’m…” before I could finish my statement, Joey’s grabbed my body onto him from the back. I could feel the thudding of his chest on my back and the warmth of his body was amazing.
