“So the little paint job really changed up the old place? It always seemed to stay the same old way every time,” I glanced at him and his eyes seemed to spark with recognition of the way the old bar never seemed to change.
“Yep, you’ll be surprised what a little paint and a few new fixtures can do. Plus he added a huge flat screen to the top of the bar. So now people can come watch the game in there” He spoke with some much passion about the bar, it almost seemed like it was his bar. Reaching the floor where his condo was the elevator doors opened. I followed behind Mike closely as he walked up to one of the huge brown doors that led to the various condos. Pulling out his key he opened the door revealing his well-kept apartment. The turquoise walls always made me feel at home, even though I had never been there before. He stepped in and beckoned me inside. Almost immediately, the warmth of the place enveloped me, and I walked silently to the kitchen. He pulled out ingredients from the cupboards and placed them on the counter. I immediately set to work opening cans and planning for the meal in advance. He turned on the stove and set a small pot to boil. When it was boiling he put in the spaghetti and turned to me.
“So, Chef Boyardee, what are we cooking today?” He asked and wrapped his hands around my slender waist. I turned to him and pecked him on the cheek.
“I don’t know, but I was thinking that we could start with simple spaghetti and meatballs, I’m always good at that.” I said and smiled up at him. He looked down and kissed me passionately on the lips.
“Sounds splendid, I’ll get out the ground beef,” He opened the freezer and took out a medium sized zip lock bag of frozen meatballs. “Oh I have these already made,” he said setting it down in the sink as we maintained friendly conversation.
“So what about the school? How are your classes going?” He questioned. I pulled the chopping board closer to me, and with the knife in my hand, I began chopping the bell peppers and other seasoning. “It’s been stressful, but I guess that’s what college is all about. Right? If your classes are way too easy, then you’re probably not learning anything much.” I smiled at the food, refusing to look up at Mike. I could almost feel him looking at me, watching everything I was doing.
“Yep that’s right, college can be very stressful, but I’m sure you’ll get used it. I remember my college days. What a hell of a time I had,” he gave a little chuckle that sort of confused me a little. Did he mean that college was easy for him or was it hard?
The timer on the microwave beeped indicating that the meatballs were as ready as they would ever be. The tomato sauce that Mike had been stirring was done and the spaghetti was finished boiling. I sautéed the seasoning in a skillet for a little bit before adding it into pan with the spaghetti.
Once cooked, we sat down at the table and enjoyed the simple yet delicious meal that we had prepared in under fifteen minutes.
“So what about your mother?” I asked after he had told a funny story about his mother’s fourth wedding.
“She went on a very strange honeymoon!” He exclaimed and gave a horse-laugh when he saw my facial expression. Suddenly his face dropped. He pulled out his cell and excused himself. He went out onto the small patio to take what seemed like a private call, and I was left to my own inside. I finished up the dishes and wandered around the spacious apartment. He came in and looked sadly at me as he explained that he had just been called to his dad’s home, apparently his father needed to speak with him urgently...
He drove me home in silence back to my apartment and we kissed goodbye. I wandered up to my own apartment and thought about how alone I was. I decided against calling Suzie my best friend of thirteen years, and called Alec instead. I got no answer, so I tried Joey. He answered, his manly voice tickling my insides.
“Hey,” I started, and he cleared his throat. I felt so comfortable around him that his pause meant nothing. I could even hear him smiling from the way he spoke.
“Hey Lazy,” He was the only person who called me that. If anyone else tried it, I’d kick them out the door. “We’re kind of busy down at the bar right now, but if you want to meet up I can come pick you up in twenty,” He’d read my mind, yet again. This time, it was beyond easy to pick out an outfit, mostly because I knew Joey, and I had a fair idea as to what he liked. My eyes instantly fell on a red halter top and blue grey jeans shorts. I knew that he would most likely take me to his beach house on the coast, and I wanted to be ready. In exactly twenty minutes, Joey pulled up in a black escalade in front of the apartment. I rushed out to meet him. He swept me up into his arms. He carried me to the passenger’s side and closed the door. Then he came in adjusting himself into his seat before driving off.
We had been talking animatedly about the bar, school, the beach house and other random things. We knew each other so well that it was easy to carry up a conversation with him without hitting the awkward spots that everyone goes through. He pulled up on the beach and I got out almost immediately and ran out into the open empty beach. We walked hand in hand into the water and automatically undressed each other in the process. As we entered the water, we fell into each other hungrily. He nipped at my neck and I dug my well-kept nails into the sand beneath us. Everything was going smoothly and the water pulled us deeper and more outward to sea. I hopped onto him and teased him with my fingers. Running my fingers mischievously through the hairs on his chest and letting out short breaths when he nibbled one nipple, then the other, sexily. I moaned out in ecstasy as his tongue continued to tease my hardened nipples. Joey carried me out of the water and onto the sand. As I lay in the sand, I looked up and could see the beautiful star lit sky.
Joey soon hovered over my view with his lean masculine body. He lowered himself unto me and his kisses were so intense and full of passion that it seemed to bruise my lips as his hand caressed almost every inch of my body. There was something about Joey that had my body quivering wanting more and more of him. My juices were trickling down my pussy and I gasped as his tongue moved downwards, leaving my nipples and going all the way down to my the core of my womanhood.
“Joey…” I moaned as he wrapped his tongue around my clit, massaging it gently with small circular motions, tiny spasms shot through my body. I gripped a handful of sand for support and his tongue swept through my wet pussy, kissing, licking and sucking my moist tender flesh. Another loud moan escaped my lips as he plunged his tongue inside the slit of my pussy, flicking it rapidly in and out of my temple of delight. I moaned out again, calling out his name.
His tongue probed the insides of my pussy for a while before he was finally satisfied. Pulling away, he stroked his long dick a few times before proceeded to mount me and penetrate my pussy with his massive shaft. I closed my eyes as my body winced. My pussy was being stretched to its limit as his dick made its way deep down into my moist core. The night was filled with my moaning as Joey rammed his dick in an out of my wet pussy. Finally he exploded his load of hot wet cum inside of me. We breathed in unison as he released and I held a self-satisfactory grin as we came out of the water, gathering clothes as we walked. He offered me dinner, but I giggled and replied that I had already eaten. Joey finally asked me on a date.
“I want to take you to a great restaurant, with live music in that background and everything.” He smiled at me as I struggled to put on my jacket. I nodded in agreement and Joey smiled again. “I really like you Lizzie,” He cooed, and I knew he meant it.
“I really like you too.” I smiled at him and we both climbed into his car, satisfied. He hugged me and gave me a quick peck on the cheek. I walked up to my front door smiling, and when I arrived inside my apartment, I saw that someone had cleaned up. Upon further investigation, I realized that someone was none other than my best friend Suzie who was lying on my living room couch. I laughed as I realized that she had been the one who cleaned up. She smiled at me as I settled on my couch.
“How come you didn’t call me last night?” She asked and I smiled as I explained what I was doing last night with Alec.
/> “Wow, sounds like quite the adventure… How did you guys get to Nevada at that time?” She asked with curiosity on her round heart shaped face. And I blinked at her.
“Oh he has his own private jet.” I gloated, smiling triumphantly at her confused expression.
“Oh really that’s Awesome, I like that Alec guy, he’s the one for you. “A shower of questions that I was not prepared for soon followed. I answered them one by one.
“And what about tonight, where were you? Why are you only now returning home missy? Do you know what time it is?” She continued in a stern mother like tone of voice.
“Well it started with Mike, he called and said that he wanted to have lunch but I could not do lunch today. So we went to his house and we cooked spaghetti and meatballs. And then there was Joey, we went to the beach and had some mind-blowing sex.” I smiled and laughed almost unaware of the horrified look on Suzie’s face.
CHAPTER SEVEN
As the weeks went by I continued to see all three of the men I had met over the past few months, Mike, Joey and Alec Strong. Each of them seemed to serve a different purpose in my life, Mike was fun, young and exciting, while Alec was like a prince charming that showered me with luxurious gifts;, all I had to do was ask. And Joey was a bit different he was strong, mature, with great sex appeal, he would have me squirming at his touch. I could also count on him to help out during difficult situations, on one occasion he had even helped me out by taking care of my rent and bills. Life was becoming a whole lot easier having these three around.
Although Suzie often teased me about juggling the three men, I knew it was just a temporary thing until I got on my feet financially speaking. Grocery shopping was like a thing of the past, almost every night I ate out with Mike or I would go to the bar and Joey would get me something from their grill section. Of course I was afraid of what would happen if one day all three men found out about each other, but that was a risk I was willing to take.
Suzie and I were in the food court packing up after a long work day when she brought up her usual topic of what I would do when Mike and Joey found out that they were fucking the same girl, ME.
“Suzie, it’s not gonna happen, I’m super-duper careful. I swear.”
“I don’t know the whole situation just feels a little weird.” She leaned in resting her arm on the counter, raking her hand through her blonde locks.
I let out a long sigh, Suzie was about to give me one of her famous pep talks. Quite frankly I was getting very annoyed with her lately. She was trying to be so damn self-righteous trying to tell me what to do, who to see, where to go. It took everything thing I had to keep my lips shut and not tell her to “Shut the hell up!”
“Personally I’d dump both Joey and Mike to avoid a situation, if you know what I mean. I’d stick to Alec Strong,” she continued.
Alec had always been her favorite of the three; I was actually tired of hearing her ask about him. Where he took me or whether I had spoken to him for the day were the type of constant questions she asked.
She continued to taunt me, accusing me of dating the three men because of my low self-esteem.
“Where the heck did that statement come from Suz?” I asked with irritation. “I don’t know am just saying it’s just weird that you, “Mother Theresa” would now all of a sudden become Loose Luce,” she laughed trying to make light of her previous statement.
“Loose Luce Suz really?” I gave her a sarcastic look.
Loose Luce was this girl back in high school named Lucey. She had a tendency to sleep with men, much older men for money. Everyone would wonder how she could always afford to wear the most expensive shoes and carry the most expensive bags when she had five other siblings and her mother worked at local diner at minimum wage. We were all shocked the day an older woman came to the school along with her two daughters and the woman gave her a stern warning. “Let my husband be, little girl. Stop whoring around, and focus on your studies Lucey. You don’t want people to think that you are loose now, do you?” The woman had said that for everyone to hear. From that day onwards the students came up with a nick name for Lucey; Loose Luce. At first it seemed like a little joke, but then as time progressed, the name stuck with her throughout high school.
How could my best friend compare me to such a person? Loose Luce was the type of girl who slept with any and everybody regardless of age or marital status. I was nothing like that. I had a select few that came with tremendous benefits.
“Call it whatever you want Suzie,” I finally said, looking away from her.
“So you’re going to be mad and try to go because I’m looking out for you Liz?” Suzie called out with a hint of concern mixed with surprise in her voice.
“No I just won’t let you try to tell me how to live my life, when you’re no better,” I shot back.
“Oh don’t be cynical! You’re sleeping with three men, Liz. Two of which are good friends and work at that same place, NEED I remind you,” she gave me an intense look followed by a frown.
We were both getting really worked up about the issue. This was the first time in a while we’d ever had such an argument. Taking a deep breathe I tried to calm myself down. We were being silly, fighting over something so trivial.
“Okay, I get what you saying Suz,” I finally admitted. I did not want to be mad at my best friend over a couple of men who probably did not even have genuine feelings towards me.
The two of us hugged, laughing at the entire situation.
“I’m sorry girl, just got so caught up in the moment. You know like diarrhea of the mouth,” Suzie laughed as the two of us made our way to the back of the food court. Suzie had just gotten a brand new expensive gift from her sugar daddy, A new ford mustang convertible. We quickly got into her vehicle and she pulled out of the staff parking area and we cruised down the highway. I could see that she had more to say but she kept quiet.

Just as Suzie had been predicting the inevitable happened. Joey and Mike found out about each other and they were furious at ME.
“How could you do this? I thought you were a good person but you were just stringing me along all the time,” Mike said with a hurt-filled voice.
“YOU DIRTY WHORE!!!” Joey roared his voice filled with more anger than Mike’s.
It had happened so suddenly, Mike and I had been relaxing by the pool at one of his father’s condos in the city when the bell at the front door rang. Unaware that Joey and I had a little fling he brought Joey over to where I had been sitting in the back.
Joey had a shocked look when he saw my barely clad body slouched against the recliner in the back.
“What’s going on over here, man?” He had asked Mike with a serious look on his face.
In that moment, if I could have dug a hole and buried myself in it, I would have happily done so. All Suzie’s warnings and advice kept ringing in my ears. This had been what she was trying to avoid all along.
Mike had answered Joey’s question telling him that the two of us were dating. I honestly did not know what Joey could have done at that time. His eyes had grown dark with anger and I quickly stood up and tried to escape his wrath. I did not want to have to explain to them both the obvious.
Both men were terribly upset, and they both tried to confront me at the same time.
“Oh no you don’t,” Joey had said grabbing my hand and leading me back to answer a ton of questions, ranging from what I was doing there, to if I thought I could actually date two friends. I tried to explain that I liked them both, and it was not ever my intention to hurt either of them.
“So what did you expect to happen, Liz,” Mike had said with a look of disgust on his face. This was the first time I had ever seen him upset. He had always been a cool, calm and collected gentle man. While Joey on the other hand, had always been the fiery one. His behavior and reaction I could understand. I never really did understand why he was so upset, when Suzie had told me that he’d had a wife and children. I was like a side dish t
o him, so why was he that upset?
That day I left Mike’s condo, never to go back again. I knew that he may never ever forgive me. During our previous conversations he had made it abundantly clear that he could not be in a relationship with any woman who had cheated on him. He believed firmly in loyalty and being faithful to your partner. So basically that was the end of Mike and me.
Joey too had been so upset that he punched the walls hard while cursing and swearing at me. He definitely did not seem to be able to channel his anger in the right direction.
I had quickly left the place, not even looking back to see their angry faces. Neither of them spoke to me for several days, weeks even and I did not blame them, I should have been honest with them from the very beginning. I too stayed away from Joey’s bar so that I did not run into any of them. Filled with remorse I decided to focus my attention on work, not even Alec Strong seemed to captivate me at that point in time. Joey and Mike were two good guys that I had treated in the cruelest horrible way, worst of all they were good friends. Thinking back on Suzie’s comments, I realized that I must have been insane to think that I could have kept seeing the both of them.
****
It was a quiet Friday evening and Suzie was dropping me home from work like she normally did. We cruised down the road without a care in the world, it was the weekend and I had planned a day of relaxation for myself tomorrow. There was heavy traffic; an uneasy feeling crept up, upon me. Something just did not feel right and I could not put my finger on it.
“OH MY GOD!” I exclaimed, noticing the smoke coming out of my apartment and several others in the building.
