“God, yes,” she moaned.
Cooper reached around and rolled her nipple between his fingers, pulling at it, gently. Her hips arched while he rubbed the head of his cock against her pussy. The moment his length began to ease in, Zara bit her lip. He knew it was probably just as painful for her as it was for him. But what a pleasurable pain it was. Unfortunately, he couldn’t continue.
“We need something. You’re way too tight to do this without some type of lube. I don’t want to hurt you.”
“Top drawer next to my bed,” she said, lowly.
Rogue was gone before she could completely finish the sentence. By the time Cooper processed that he was gone, their mate was already back. He poured some in his palm and reached over, stroking it down Cooper’s thickness. A moan came from his mouth at the pressure. Fingers left him and Rogue pushed them into Zara’s pussy.
“Fuck yeah, you’re tight.” He withdrew, and traced the tip of one over the opening of her ass. A deep moan came from her throat at him breaching the entrance. “Is your ass just as tight, darlin’? Maybe I should find out?”
Her head turned to face him, and she quickly looked down. “Recently, I’ve gotten myself off. Never in my pussy. I couldn’t for some reason. Sacred territory to me, I guess. Anyway, I’d say my ass was pretty broken in. By all means, if you want to find out, I urge you to continue. Just please don’t let Cooper stop.”
Hell no, he wasn’t going to stop. At least, not unless Rogue told him to. And he really hoped his master didn’t.
Dark eyes met his, and Cooper could tell Rogue wanted him to proceed. As he slid slowly into Zara’s pussy, he clenched his jaw against the pressure that began to envelope his cock. Cooper grabbed her hip. Zara was his anchor, and he needed every bit of grounding he could get against the ecstasy she brought him. If he didn’t pull back on the reins now, he was going to be in over his head. At seeing Rogue’s finger slide into her ass, he nearly plunged into her completely. It was so hot watching her accept both of them.
Continuous moans poured from her mouth while he withdrew and thrust into her deeper. Rogue slid another finger into her back entrance and Zara’s tightened around Cooper’s cock, almost painfully. It was perfect.
“You will not come yet, darlin’. If you do, there will be consequences.”
“I can’t stop it, Sir.”
Rogue growled. “You will, or I’ll make Cooper stop fucking you. You’ll go right into the stalks you mentioned having.”
A cry came from Zara’s mouth and Rogue paused in moving his fingers. “Harder, Cooper.”
“Yes, Sir.” Cooper had been holding back, but with permission, and with how wet his mate was, he couldn’t put it off any longer. He plunged into her, having to control his own need.
Rogue gripped her hair tightly. “Good girl. You’re doing great, darlin’. Hold off for a little while longer.” His fingers began to move in her ass again.
“Please,” she whimpered.
“Almost,” Rogue whispered. He turned toward him. “Faster, Cooper.”
Hell, he wasn’t sure he could go any faster or harder, but he sure did try. Anything to please Rogue and Zara.
A scream came from her mouth. “Sir! Please, I beg you.” Her body was shaking under Cooper’s hand. He gripped to her hip tighter.
A few seconds went by and the beginnings of a smile lifted the edge of Rogue’s lip. “All right, darlin’. You may come now.” He paused. “But you be sure to thank me and Cooper before you do.”
“Thank you, Sir. Thank you, Cooper.” His name came out of her mouth somewhere between a moan and a scream. Rogue pulled her lips to his, and Cooper reached around, brushing his finger against her clit. Spasms shook her body. Muffled sounds poured from her while she continued to shake against his grasp.
Zara gasped for air the moment Rogue lifted the top portion of her body.
“Carry her to the bed and finish fucking her, Cooper. I’ll join the two of you shortly.” The order was one he would gladly take.
“Yes, Sir.” Cooper scooped Zara into his arms. He was so going to enjoy getting her all hot and ready again. The way she clung to his shoulders and started kissing his neck only had him heading for her bedroom even faster.
Chapter 8
As Rogue’s clothes dropped to the floor, and he stepped into the shower, he couldn’t help but see Cooper’s cock still going into Zara’s sweet pussy. Damn, he’d just wanted to run his tongue down his mate’s length and collect all her delicious juices. And he would before it was over with. Just not yet. He’d torture himself until the agonizing need twisted his stomach as if a bag of cinder blocks hung from his core. It was Rogue’s way, and one he quite enjoyed.
He lathered the soap over his body and once again paused while he felt the growth on his face. Not once had he ever cared about it, but suddenly he couldn’t help that it bothered him. There was a list of things suddenly surfacing that was driving him crazy. What was with wanting to impress Zara’s father?
He’d never cared what anyone thought of him, and the guy was scum. Yet still, the importance of looking his best was like a samurai lodged deep in his brain. It was stuck there, slicing through his thoughts, and adding nothing but an annoying pain to improve on his appearance. Not to mention, his character. Shit. What was happening to him? To the biker cowboy who didn’t need anyone or anything but the clothes on his back, and the freedom to go wherever he pleased?
A groan came from his mouth while images projected of Zara and Cooper. They were what happened to him. Just seeing the passion they felt from each other, from his commands, sent tingling erupting through his chest.
Rogue washed the shampoo from his shoulder-length hair, and turned off the water. He reached over and grabbed a towel. Cooper, no doubt, was deep in Zara’s passion. A smile came to his face. Eh, he’d give them a little more time. He walked into the spare room and grabbed his knife from the bag. As he walked back into the restroom, he could hear Zara’s loud moans. Good. Now that was a sound he could get used to.
The reflection of his face made Rogue shake his head. Time to get rid of this beard. He’d worry about the hair soon enough. The liquid soap pooled in his palm. It’d do until he could pick up the stuff he needed. Plus, he’d used less, before. The blade was so sharp, it wouldn’t take much.
Flat metal pressed against his cheek, and Rogue brought down the edge. The act was something he’d done a million times. One wrong movement and it’d be all over with. The knife was that sharp, but it didn’t even cause him to think twice while he finished shaving.
The water was cool against his skin. He stood and looked at his reflection. The difference was almost shocking. The long hair caught his attention. When was the last time it had been short? Hell, he couldn’t remember. Ten years? Fifteen? Rogue looked down at the basket Zara had on the counter. He grabbed the scissors. As he started going through the drawers he came across a pair of clippers. Well, here went nothing.
Rogue lifted the long hair the rested on the side of his face. He cut his bangs, just above his eyebrow. As the long piece floated to the countertop he looked at it. Well, there was no turning back now. His hair had always represented his carefree life. The rebel in him. Rogue wasn’t the same person anymore. He was new. Mated. And depending on how things turned out with Nikolas, possibly the new alpha of Triple Z.
The movement of his fingers became automatic after that. Rogue became so focused on what he was doing that before he realized it, he was standing there staring at a completely different person. His hair was faded up to the longer area on top. He looked like a…a businessman, or maybe a banker? Hell, he had no idea, but he definitely looked different.
Rogue grabbed the towel and brushed the hair off of his wide shoulders. Cleaning the sink and floor off didn’t take long. A scream brought a smile to his face as he dumped the long hair in the trash. The scream had been laced with pleasure, and he knew Zara had just come again. Good. His mate was doing her right. He quickly washed off again
, and dried off.
It was time. Sounds came from Cooper as he approached the door. His mate was close to release. Rogue could tell by the way his moans were deepening. He pushed open the door and watched both of them turn to him and freeze. Cooper’s mouth parted, and Zara gasped for air. The arousal thickened in the air. Well, that was a good sign. Maybe he didn’t look so bad after all.
“Rogue.” The word practically purred from Zara’s mouth.
“You look…different,” Cooper whispered. “Fucking sexy.”
Heat filled Rogue’s face, and he couldn’t ever remember feeling shy or embarrassed, but in this moment he did. He loved that his mates liked his new look, he just wasn’t used to the attention.
“As you were.”
“Yes, Sir.” Cooper began thrusting again, but Rogue didn’t miss the way his eyes kept coming back to take in his nude body.
“Where’s our playground, darlin’?”
A moan came from her mouth and she pointed to the door. “Basement. There’s a setup down there.”
“Well, I only need a few things. We’ll get it set up like I want, in time.” Rogue headed out of the room and opened each door down the hallway. Besides a bedroom and a hall closet he didn’t see any other doors. Then he remembered the one he’d seen in the kitchen. He turned the knob and smiled. “Perfect.” The light switch was against the wall. The moment he reached the bottom of the stairs, he almost couldn’t believe his eyes. A funny feeling swamped him. Jealousy?
There was everything he could have ever dreamed in the large room. And it was all set up, perfectly. The thing that got him the most was that there wasn’t one thing he wanted to do to change it. This cop, George, Zara’s first mate. He portrayed a man like Rogue. A leader. Dark. Yet, he’d been human. Rogue had never envied anyone before, but he did in that moment. Everything Zara was experiencing, she’d already had before. With George. It was unsettling. And it shouldn’t have been. Zara had had another mate. So what? She was in pain, dammit, and he should have been focusing on that rather than being upset about another man showing her the ropes of his lifestyle.
All of the emotions hit him hard. Rogue didn’t even know himself, anymore. The hair. The feelings. For the first time, he was questioning what he stood for. Who he was. This couldn’t be right. Mates made you feel whole. Great. And she and Cooper did. But what were all these doubts and insecurities coming from?
Rogue climbed up the stairs two at a time. He flipped off the light and shut the door. The first place he went was the guest bedroom. There was only one pair of pants and a shirt, and he pulled them on. Cooper’s voice rang out from the room. “Rogue?”
The concern was enough to make his anxiety spike. He pushed on his boots and Cooper and Zara were suddenly standing at the door.
“Where are you going?” Zara stared at him, uneasy. He didn’t want them to feel like they’d done anything wrong. They hadn’t. He just needed to think.
“I shouldn’t be gone long. I suddenly forgot that I needed to go speak to Logan.”
“Logan?” Cooper shook his head. “Call him, then. We’ll give you privacy.”
It did make sense. Why was he lying, anyway? He shouldn’t have to do that. “Listen, you both didn’t do anything wrong, okay. I don’t really have to talk to him, I just need to go out and think. Time alone. I’m not sure why, I just suddenly feel overwhelmed.”
“Oh.” Zara looked at Cooper, and her eyes welled with tears. The fact that he’d caused it broke his heart. “It was the room, wasn’t it? This house? The pictures.” She swallowed hard. “I’m sorry. I know it must be hard for the both of you, too.”
“No. Shh.” Rogue pulled her into his arms. “Don’t be upset. I just need to process everything, okay.” He rubbed her back. “You didn’t do anything to upset me. I can’t stress that enough. You have to know, this is very new to me. I’m not used to being around anyone, and now I have you two. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t be happier with the bond between the three of us. Sometimes, I just need to go on a run to clear my mind.”
Zara looked up at him. “All right. I understand.”
“Good.” He kissed her head and stepped toward Cooper. “Watch over our girl.” He kissed his mouth, softly, and headed for the door. A run should do it. A hard, fast, torturing run.
* * * *
Cooper took another bite of chocolate ice cream and hugged Zara into him tighter. Her head was rested on his chest as they lay in the bed, watching a rerun of Duck Dynasty. He’d seen this episode at least three or four times, and he never got tired of it.
A laugh came from Zara and she shook her head. “I can’t believe I’ve missed such good shows. This is the third one we’ve seen, and each one keeps getting funnier. I love these guys. They rock.”
“Agreed,” Cooper said, kissing her head. Damn, he was really digging his female. Like, a lot. He couldn’t believe it. They just got along so well. It was mind-blowing. He’d never really connected to anyone as much as he did with her or Rogue.
For the millionth time, he looked toward the door to the room. Zara shifted against him. “He’s running circles around the ranch. I can feel him still close.”
A sigh came from his mouth. “Me too, I just wish there was something I could do. Rogue has been really hard to connect with from the beginning. The guy’s had a hard life. He’s been alone for so long, it’s hard for him to let people in. Trust me. Today’s my first day of actually meeting him, too. I’ve seen him once at Damien’s fight for alpha, but we’ve never spoken.”
“Really?” Zara sat up and looked at him. “I was sure you both knew each other for a lot longer than that.”
“No. We’ve talked on the phone now for a few weeks, but I wouldn’t have actually met him if I hadn’t snuck into Triple Z and followed him. It was luck that he let me stick around. I was sure he was going to tote my ass back to Dark Days. But I stood firm. Told him I wasn’t going anywhere.” He shrugged. “He actually let me stay.”
“Wow. You both have amazing chemistry. I’ve watched you two. The waiting must have been hard.”
A laugh exploded from his mouth. “You have no idea. I was becoming quite the stalker there for a while. I was hot on his trail, but he always happened to lose me at the last second. You can say I was determined to hunt him down. He won. But he did call me after a week or so of me doing that, so it worked out good. I was just happy he wasn’t completely avoiding me. Rogue explained how hard it was, and I was willing to wait for him. Until today, of course.”
“Amazing. You went through a lot.” She sat up and turned to him. “I should probably take down all the pictures. It hurts to think about it, but I know it’s not fair to either of you. And I want this mating. It’s just…hard. George.” She paused, and Cooper grabbed her hand.
“Please, go on. Don’t ever think you have to hold back about your previous mate because I’ll feel awkward. I won’t. He was a big part of you, Zara. Your husband, your life partner. I know, and accept that one hundred and ten percent. I’m sure you both loved each other very much.”
Zara looked down. “We did. George was such a kindhearted, amazing person. He’d give you the shirt off of his back. There wasn’t anyone who met him that didn’t immediately like him. My brothers did somewhat, but it was hard for George to be around them. Their wolves really made him uneasy. He could feel them. I guess he was a bit sensitive. I’m just surprised mine never bothered him. Maybe because I was a female, or who knows. It could have just been the bond.”
“It probably was. So, what’s with all the kinky stuff? Was he into that, or you?”
Zara laughed. “Kinky stuff.” She shook her head. “George was the first man I had ever been with. We met when I was almost twenty-four, and he couldn’t believe I was still a virgin. He was in awe of that, and it wasn’t until our mating night, or I guess I should say wedding night, that we actually went all the way.
“From the beginning, I could feel he was holding back some part of himself. It too
k me almost the first six months of our marriage to convince him to tell me. When he did, I was a little scared.” She smiled. “Until the first time, anyway. I’d never felt more alive. He opened up a part of me that I didn’t even know I’d longed for.” Her smile faded and she looked down. “It was hard losing him. He had become everything to me. Three short years of marriage. And our connection. Gone, in the blink of an eye.”
“I can’t imagine.” The love Cooper felt her talk about was all too familiar to him. He’d been talking to Rogue now for so long that the bond had made him fall in love with his male mate, long ago. They didn’t even have to see each other for the connection to take effect. Rogue’s voice just did it for him. He could close his eyes at any given moment and hear him talking. The sound stirred a deep need for him in Cooper’s core. He wanted his mate. Longed for him. True, he was here with Zara, but without Rogue, they were incomplete. Again, he looked at the door.
“Maybe I should go check on him? What do you think?”
She shook her head. “Let him work through it. He’ll come around. We just need to be patient and give him time.”
“You’re right. I just feel so helpless.” Cooper stood. “I’m going to go stick this bowl in the sink. You want anything?”
“I’m good.” She smiled and rested back against the pillow.
Cooper headed into the kitchen and placed the empty bowl in the sink. As he made his way into the living room, he took in the pictures of her and George. There were so many. From them riding horses, to professional shots at some kind of studio. A large frame stood against the back wall of their wedding picture and he walked closer, taking in the two of them. George’s dark hair and light eyes…he looked a lot like him, he suddenly realized. Not in a way of actually being related, but their overall appearance.
The front door opened and Rogue’s face was red, and dripping sweat.
“Wow, you really pushed it, huh?”
A laugh came from his mouth. “I think I made a path around this whole place. I ran around it enough times to.”
