Angus nodded and then stood. “As well it should. I am honored to see the pups, thank you.”

“When everyone returns from the weekend, we will begin to sift through all the documentation and prepare teams for counter-attack measures,” Silas said as they left the nursery. “I intend to eradicate the Liege from my land.”

Angus looked at him with a raised brow. “From the United States, only?”

Silas shrugged and met Jasmine’s gaze. “Yes for now.”

“Okay,” Angus said when Silas stopped in front of the suite he shared with Jasmine.

“I will return in a few moments, sweet bitch. I will take him to his room to settle in,” Silas said to Jasmine.

She nodded, leaned forward and kissed Angus on the cheek. “Welcome to our home, brother.”

Silas growled at the innocent gesture but his wolf had not stirred. She slapped him on the shoulder. “Behave, Wolfie.”

  Smiling, Angus’ brow rose.

“No kissing anyone else,” Silas said as she strode into their room.

“Yes, Sir,” she said in a mocking tone as she waved goodbye and closed the door.

Angus laughed as they strode toward the elevator. “You are blessed beyond measure to have found your mate. I can tell she is your match in every way.”

Silas nodded. “Yes she is. One day I will tell you of our rocky beginning and how I almost lost her. But that is a tale for another day.”

Angus nodded. Together they left the elevator and headed to Cameron’s old suite. Silas took a moment to thank the Goddess for his blessings. He had taken some bumps in the past forty-eight hours, but they were in a better position to fight their enemy than before. He had an explanation, of sorts, how half-breeds came about and met his remaining litter-mate. Now if he could talk his mate into having more pups, he would be the happiest La Patron in the world.

Opening the door for Angus and allowing his brother to precede him, he shrugged. Tomorrow was another day. They would fight for peace and make love until he could not think. As plans went, that was a pretty good one.
