  A short history of Gungnir

This weapon was a creation of the Archon Othin. It was called Gungnir by the ancient Norse peoples who first encountered the Archon they would soon after revere as “Odin the all father” when he descended to Earth. When Othin held it the weapon took the form of a spear, but he could make it into any weapon he wanted. Most of the designs for Norse weaponry came from the forms that they saw this powerful weapon take. This was the only time it was ever seen on Earth.

During the war of souls Othin was goaded into fighting his brother without the use of Gungnir. When he relinquished it and the weapon took another form and was lost to its owner forever. It has hung unsuspectingly in the halls of Valhalla for millennia awaiting a new warrior to serve.
