“We’ll order new stuff if you don’t like what we’ve done. Now, what do you think?” Lancelot said, setting her feet down and turning her around to see the valley laid out in front of them.

“Oh my God, it’s beautiful. Look at that waterfall and those huge animals. They look like buffalo, but are purple and twice their size. Oh, what is this?” she said watching a small cat-like creature come up and sniff at them.

  Chapter Seventeen

Elisa bent down and put her hand out. “Hello little fellow, how are you?” she said.

“Elisa! you don’t know if that thing will hurt you!” Jason said moving next to her.

“Well I guess we’ll find out,” she teased.

The little cat-like creature with blue eyes, green nasty claws, and fur that was red crawled up onto her lap, purring.

“Well I’ll be damned. I think you have a new friend,” he said and started to kneel down when the animal bit into her arm, fangs and all.

“Son of a bitch!” Elisa cringed.

“Don’t move,” he yelled as Jason came around, studying the animal and how to remove it from her arm.

“Leave it alone, it will release her soon. It’s claimed your woman as its pet,” Lucas said, moving up to them. “I swear every time I try to spend some time with my family, something else is happening,” he laughed. “There are no other animals around. As soon as it bonds with her, he’ll release her. Now excuse me.”

Lucas disappeared and he shook his head. “Are we ever going to get time alone with you?” he laughed and she glared at him.

“It’s not my fault. Do you think I want some…” her eyes went crossed and she stared down at the animal. “Well, for Pete’s Sakes, of course not, they’re my mates.” She laughed and petted the small animal who was obviously speaking to her in her head.

“I should warn you, you were lucky my guards didn’t take you out…” Elisa frowned and looked around. “Where are they and Leta?” she sighed as the cat creature released her and jumped off her.

Her arm hurt a little, but it was healing fast. “We are here, just wanted to allow you to have time with your men,” Leta said in her head. “And do not worry about your friend Karen, Lucas’ brother will protect her and keep her safe.”

“Why does he do this?” Lancelot asked Leta, hearing the conversation and leading her over to the small hut they had taken over.

Tarek looked down at her arm and placed a kiss on it when she stepped inside, looking around.

“That I do not know. Now don’t worry about it and enjoy your time.” With that the queen of the Neobinders separated herself from Elisa’s head.

She couldn’t believe her eyes as she saw the small table for four of them set with candles, flowers and crystal place settings. On the far wall was a long table with food dishes filled with food awaited them.

The scent alone made her stomach growl and she laughed. “Seems we have been here before,” Elisa turned and looked over at Lancelot. “Let’s hope this night ends better than before.”

Lancelot leaned down and kissed her nose. “As you heard, nothing will disturb us. Now please sit,” Lancelot nodded to where Jason held out a chair for her.

“Tonight we serve you, our Little Geek,” Lancelot said and moved to the food table dishing out what had to be soup.

He came over and sat a big bowl of something that smelled divine. “God, I could orgasm on just the scent of this stuff,” Elisa moaned. “What is it?” She asked, watching as each man got a bowl and joined her at the table.

“It’s my brother’s famous lobster bisque and believe me, it tastes even better than it smells,” Jason informed her. “Take a spoonful.”

With all three of them watching, Elisa rolled her eyes and took a taste. The soup hit her tongue and flavors like nothing she had ever tasted erupted in her mouth.

“Damn!” she groaned closing her eyes enjoying it.

“This is the best,” Elisa stopped and looked at the jewelry box across her bowl of soup. “What did you guys do?”

  “Open it,” Jason said.

She reached up and took the box, opening it. “This has been handed down from generation to generation in our family. It is now yours and you now have your old item for tomorrow.” Jason said as she stared at the half dollar-sized emerald choker.

“I’m afraid to touch it, let alone wear it. Are you sure?” She frowned and looked up. “Something old?” she frowned.

“Yes, you know, ‘something old, something borrowed, something blue, and something new,’” Lancelot said and Elisa busted out laughing.

“That is usually taken care of by the best friends,” Elisa teased as Jason got up and took the necklace and put it on her.

“Not this time,” Jason said kissing the side of her neck. “Finish your soup for your next gift.”

By the time Elisa made it through the four courses of the meal, she was sobbing and full. The gifts they had given her, now covered her body, except the last one, which Lancelot now knelt at her legs.

He lifted her leg up into his lap. “I love the skirts you wear, you have such perfect legs.” He ran his hand up her leg. “But you need something blue, if I’m not mistaken.” Lancelot pulled out a blue garter belt.

“I caught this at one of my best friend’s weddings a long time ago. He has passed from this world and is in the next, but I know he and his wife would have loved that you wear this.” Lancelot slid the hand embroidered beautiful silk garter belt up her leg.

“My eyes are going to be all puffy tomorrow now,” she said, grabbing the Kleenex Tarek held out for her.

“No, they won’t. You’re one of us now,” Lancelot teased and rose, kissing the top of her head. “You will look absolutely breath-taking, I’m sure. Now come dance with me, we’ll work some of this meal off before dessert comes down here,” Lancelot said, pulling her up as music sounded all around her.

“What did you do to have a band outside playing?” she teased and he grinned nodding.

“What? You didn’t.” She hit his chest.

“Only the best for our woman,” he whispered against her neck, holding her tight as he swung her around the small room.

Elisa swore her feet never touched the floor, she was on such a high and in love. She tilted her head back and stared up at this ancient night, her love.

He smiled, his eyes shinned almost as bright as a new car. Elisa’s heart seemed to jump at the love she saw there. But she did jump when her mother pounded on the door of their little retreat.

“Elisa, it’s time to carve pumpkins and your friends are waiting for you,” her mother, said causing everyone in there to whine.

“I heard that, you will have my daughter for eternity. This one night I would spend with her and her friends, please.” Elisa could hear the tears in her mother’s words which brought fresh ones to her eyes.

“Only your mom could bring us all to tears. Go, have a good night. We love you, Little Geek,” Lancelot said, kissing her lips softly and then stepping aside for Tarek and Jason to say their good nights.

When they were done, she was fanning her face as Jason opened the door, winking at her. Her mother and stepfather stood there waiting for her along with her guards and her new cat.

She looked at Leta, questioning. “The cat thing his proven himself. We will not eat him, but he’s been warned not to touch anyone.”

“Come, you have friends waiting for you,” her mother said, hugging her tight.

“Dear, we need to get moving before it gets dark.” Her father laughed, dragging them both into the woods. Of course, her knights in shining armor followed behind her, making sure nothing attacked them.

Lancelot saw her little peek back at him and he grinned like a fool. He was in so much trouble.

“You’re not the only one. I hadn’t even considered that animal crawling up onto her lap. I’ve gotten too lax around her. We’re going to have to really start putting our foot down, brother. She could ha
ve gotten killed,” Jason said next to him earning a quick glare from their Little Geek.

“We’ll speak later, right now I don’t want her upset before her special day, but you are right,” he said, knowing she would hear. “However, I believe that with her training, if we work with her, she will help in her safety and those around her.” Lancelot added, making sure she knew he appreciated her gift.

She stopped and glanced back at him and mouthed, ‘Thank you’ to him, giving Jason a look.

“You better get up there and apologize before our time is cut off. I’ll explain later what I had in mind away from some beautiful ears,” Lancelot sent to Jason and Tarek without their woman hearing.

Oh, he totally agreed with his younger brother, but there wasn’t any need to make their woman upset. They just would work behind the scenes, so she would be safe. Plus, there were ways to keep their Little Geek happy and preoccupied without having her to worry about security issues.

He watched his brother edge up close to her. Her mother eyeing him, but stepping aside with a slight tip to her head. Yep, this was going to be good.

Lancelot had seen Elisa’s temper full blown, but at a distance and right now Jason better hope she didn’t blow up on him.

  “What?” she snapped.

“I’m sorry,” he looked down at the ground. “It’s my specialty, Little Geek. Ever since we got here, things have been happening and I haven’t figured out how. I had no right to say what I did. It just got frustrated that even a cat got by me and hurt you.”

Her shoulders slumped and Elisa slid her arms around Jason, resting her head on his chest just holding him. She was up to something and was about to warn Jason, when she rubbed her face on his chest, before biting down hard.

Jason jumped back and glared at her. “What was that for? I apologized.”

“Yes you did, but you are still thinking I’m that little old lady who needs protecting. Jason, I know I’m not up to your standards and I accept that there are things I don’t know. I know I need to rely on your opinion when it comes to safety, but please give me some credit too.” She looked down at the ground. “I’ve had to learn very young how to protect myself, please allow me to help,” she whispered the last part.

His heart was breaking, but Lancelot stood where he was. This was up to Jason to handle, but even Tarek took a step forward, but Lancelot reached out and touched his arm shaking his head no.

“God, Little Geek, don’t you think I know that?” Jason grabbed her and hugged her tight. “Why do you think this is driving me crazy? I don’t want that for you, you’ve had enough in your life. I want to make it easy for you. I want to give you everything I can. You’re our world, our soul and my Little Ninja.”

No one said anything, until Elisa lifted her head up and kissed Jason on the chin. “I know and thank you. I love you Jason, but try and include me a little?” she asked and he nodded.

“Go before I take you off to the corner of the woods and do something totally unsafe to you,” he teased, turning her and swatting her ass.

She looked over her shoulder at him; her eyes glazed over and said. “Honey, I’d let you do anything.”

“But not now!” her mom yelled, breaking the sexual tension again.

His father laughed and pushed them all forward. “Woman, you are lucky my sons love you,” his father whispered to his woman’s mother.

The woman glanced back at them. “They’re lucky I love them or they wouldn’t be getting a piece of my heart and soul, my daughter.”

  Chapter Eighteen

Elisa stared out at the dark forest. It was early in the morning, but she couldn’t sleep. So she curled up on the little cushioned seat, in the bay window, with a blanket around her, and sipped her coffee.

She smiled, remembering the children carving the pumpkins last night. They’d all had a great time, and even the time alone with her mother had been special. But today was going to be a long day and one that would twine her with her men until she died. There was no divorce when it came to their world, but then again Elisa would rather die than leave them now.

To her they were already her husbands in every sense of the word, except on paper. Sure she’d dreamed of this wedding, but right now she sure wished Elisa was curled up next to them.

“As we wish you were to and I don’t like the fact you even thought of the word divorce on our special day,” Lancelot said, in her head. She also heard the growls from Jason and Tarek agreeing with him.

“I was just stating a fact, and what are you doing snooping in my head this early? I’m having my quiet time here please,” she teased and Lancelot laughed. God, she loved when he laughed.

“Your problem is you are thinking too much, Little Geek, and we’ll always be with you no matter where you are. On a different note I should tell you, your so-called cat paid Jason a visit last night and he is not happy,” Lancelot couldn’t help laugh again showing her what happened.

“Seems your cat didn’t want Jason to feel left out so he bit him too, bonding with him.”

The images that Lancelot sent had her laughing like a fool. Jason’s surprise and the not-too-gentle way Smokey had bit him.

“This is not funny. It hurt like hell. The little fur ball is lucky you like him or he’d be roasting on a fire,” Jason grumbled, but could hear the laughter in his voice. “The things I do for you, my Little Ninja.”

“Tarek, you are quiet, are you all right?” Elisa asked always afraid she didn’t spend enough time with him.

“I’m fine and stop worrying about me. I do have a surprise for you. They will arrive in about an hour, so I suggest you get on something comfortable,” Tarek said and Elisa swore she felt him wrapping his arms around her.

“Did you just hug me?” she asked.

“We all did, Little Geek. If we pull our gifts together we can do things that wouldn’t be possible. Put your coffee, down Elisa,” Lancelot ordered, sending a thrill through her.

She set her coffee down and watched as the blanket was slowly pulled off her body. Gentle hands slid the silk nighty she wore up over her body.

“Spread your legs for us,” Lancelot asked.

Feeling naughty and curious Elisa did, but she wasn’t ready for the mouth or what felt like a mouth attacking her pussy. Her head fell back against the wall and she grabbed onto the cushion under her.

Tarek was between her legs, while Jason and Lancelot sucked and played with her breasts. “Damn,” she whispered right before the orgasm rolled over her body and someone knocked on her bedroom door.

“Morning baby.” Elisa swore Lancelot purred as he cut their tie.

“Morning he says,” she grumbled and threw her robe on, stumbling to the door.

“Yes,” she opened the door to see Karen, Shelly and Turtle there. All three of them gave her the look and then looked behind her.

“Did we interrupt something?” Turtle asked with a smirk.

“Keep it up Turtle and I’ll put your ass on the ground and you know I can do it,” she grumbled and let them into the room, especially since they carried bagels, donuts, and more coffee.

“So how did the little one sleep?” she asked Shelly, grabbing her coffee cup.

Shelly smiled and plopped down on her bed. “He slept so soundly I checked up on him twice. I still can’t believe he’s a shifter. Rock has been a godsend taking him under his wing and explaining stuff to him last night. Yea, we’ve done good moving here. Thank you, Elisa. It feels like home here, you know?” Shelly said, grabbing onto her pillow and hugging it.

“I have to agree, even though I saw Darius last night, this place settles around you. It has an energy that just makes you feel at peace,” Turtle laid out on the bed as Beth poked her head in.

“Thought I heard voices, mind some more company?” Beth and Claire came in, still in their PJ’s too. Rolling in a cart filled with orange juice, eggs, bacon, and sausage. “Seems your man was busy this morning and made sure you would have enough food,” Bet
h said, nodding to the heaping portions.

“His words were, ‘Make sure Elisa and her friends eat. They need more meat on their bones,’” Beth said, and winked at her.

“More meat on my bones,” Karen looked at her. “Honey, you have a keeper. My God, I’m plump as it is, more meat on my bones.” She shook her head, smiling.

“He’s been with you, hasn’t he? Konrad, Lucas’ brother?” Elisa asked sitting down.

“Yea, I know everyone thinks he’s bad, but there is another piece missing to the puzzle, I believe. Beth, he showed me a bit about what happened to you and he was furious when that happened, but he couldn’t say anything, hence the breaking off that he did.” Karen looked down at her hands. “I heard there’s a price on his head? What happens if someone kills him? He’s the one that keeps the nightmares away.”

Again Elisa knew when his presence filled the room, his scent drifted to them all.

Karen snorted on the bed and Elisa knew she was talking to him. Elisa looked up at Beth and she nodded.

“It’s alright. Lucas agrees his brother is protecting her and he’s called a halt to the death order for now. But only because we believe something else is going on here.” She looked towards the door and Elisa could see the worried look on her face.

“You haven’t spoken to Dred yet, have you?” Elisa asked going to her and hugging her.

“No, but then again, he hasn’t been around.” She looked up and Elisa saw the tears there. “He didn’t come to bed last night. He’s never done that before. I know he’s busy helping settle some of the pack here on the planet.”

A soft knock on the door and the man they’d been talking about poked his head in. He held out his hand to Beth. “Please,” was all he said.

Beth ran to him and threw her arms around him crying. “Don’t do that again,” she cried and he closed the door behind them.
