by Webster, K
“Boring,” I say with a snort.
Aiden beams at me. “Told you school sucks.”
I roll my eyes but don’t give him any shit. He works hard in college despite hating it. I know he wants to help Vale expand her business. They’ve even discussed changing it from just coffee to an actual restaurant. His focus on his business classes has become more intense and I couldn’t be prouder.
Logan passes back out, so I set him in his crib. I admire my boy before looking over at his twin as she suckles my wife’s breast. Twins. I’d nearly died from heart palpitations that day when Aiden and I crowded Vale as the technician told us we were having two babies rather than one. Where I was in shock and Vale was crying with happiness, Aiden simply reminded us that twins run in the family. Easton was right about those miracles. And our miracle helped give us two more.
“I’ll get her to sleep. Aiden’s about to crash. You don’t look too far behind,” Vale says, smiling. “I’ll be there in a minute.”
I wink at her before following Aiden down the hall. We’ve long since invested in a bigger bed. It gets hot when three people sleep together. By the time I reach our room, he’s already down to his boxers and crawling into bed. I’m beat, so I undress to my boxers, then slide in beside him. My arm curls around him and I start to drift off. I wake when Vale joins us. She lies on his other side and threads her fingers with mine over his stomach.
“Love you guys,” Vale says with a yawn.
“Love you too,” Aiden and I both say.
We’ve all just drifted off when I hear one of the babies crying. Despite being tired as hell, I slip out of the bed to go retrieve whichever one is fussing. Once inside the room, I look into Logan’s crib. His crying stops when he sees me and his wide blue eyes regard me with such awe. I’ll never get tired of the way my kids look at me. The way those babies’ eyes light up when I enter the room.
I scoop my son in my arms and admire his perfect face.
He looks just like them.
Two people I love more than I can express.
“You just missed Daddy, didn’t you?” I whisper, smiling at him. He smiles too and then I hear Leah fussing. It takes some finagling, but I manage to get her in my other arm. They both stare at me, cute as fucking hell.
Sitting in the glider, I admire both of their faces as I start telling them all about derivatives and the time value of money. If they’re anything like their other daddy, they’ll be asleep in no time.
Miracles.
Something tells me God has a few more in store.
Fourteen months later…
“Oh. My. God.”
Logan beams at me. When he gives me that toothy grin, I can’t even be mad at him. But boy oh boy is that child’s a mess. And right now, he’s both a figurative and literal mess.
“Snow!” he shrieks.
Leah runs around the corner and lets out a giggle. “Snow!”
“No,” I admonish. “That’s flour. Not snow. Oh my God.”
Flour is everywhere. Logan managed to climb onto the counter, pull down a plastic tub of flour, and make a big damn mess with it.
He throws a handful of flour at his sister and she bursts into tears. When I realize I’m going to have to clean up this big mess, I start crying too. As soon as Logan understands he messed up, he begins wailing.
“Oh my babies,” I sob, sitting down on the dusty floor. “Come here.”
They run over to me and both try to cuddle in my lap. But there isn’t much room. No, Aiden made sure of that when he knocked me up again with his super sperm.
With twins.
“Help me,” I cry out to the heavens.
We’re all three a sobbing mess when Aiden and Vaughn enter the kitchen. They’ve been out checking on a new property. The lease is up on the coffee shop and we’re thinking there’s no time like the present to start making the big changes we talked about.
“Holy shit,” Aiden utters.
“Howee shit,” Logan parrots and then reaches for his dad.
Aiden picks him up, smirking at his little copycat, and Vaughn takes Leah.
“Did Mommy make a mess?” Vaughn asks Leah.
Her bottom lip pokes out. “Logan make it snow.”
Vaughn arches a brow at me and reaches a hand down. I grasp him and he helps me up. “Why don’t you go rest and we’ll take care of all this?”
“Really?” I ask, my lip trembling.
“Really,” Aiden says, stepping to me to kiss my forehead. “I think Mommy need an N-A-P.”
“Mommy does need a nap,” I say with a sigh. Then, a fresh bout of tears washes over me. “How will I handle four?”
Vaughn chuckles. “Just like you handle everything else. Like a boss. Plus, you have the two of us.” He kisses her cheek. “Go wash up, babe, and take a break.”
Both men are holding our children as though it’s just another day in the Young household. Suddenly, I don’t want to leave them. I don’t want a break. I want to hold them all close and never let go.
“I sowwy, Mommy,” Logan says, reaching for me.
My heart cracks open and I can’t take it anymore. Even the hardest days are the best days. These people in this kitchen are my entire world.
“Aww,” I coo, pulling him into my arms and kissing the top of his head. “It’s okay, sweetie. I love you.”
He gives me a sloppy toddler kiss.
Both Vaughn and Aiden are smirking at me.
“What?” I demand.
“You,” Aiden says, grinning. “You’re cute.”
I feel anything but cute. I’m covered in flour now, I haven’t showered, and I’m a snotty mess. Not to mention, I’m six months pregnant with more twins. I’m anything but cute.
“She doesn’t believe it,” Vaughn says, a wolfish grin on his face. “I think we’re going to have to convince her later.”
Aiden’s smile is devilish. “Then I better get these two cleaned up and ready for a N-A-P.”
I narrow my eyes at them. “You can’t convince me.”
“You know we can,” Vaughn says smugly.
Those two are cooking up something devious and I have a feeling it’ll end up with the both of them feasting on my pussy later.
I suppose I like it when they convince me.
Aiden’s eyes darken, easily reading my thoughts. He steals both kids from us, spins them around making them squeal, and then hollers over his shoulder. “Get her clean and ready. Daddy will be back in half an hour.”
I wave my hand at the mess once he’s gone. “And this?” I ask Vaughn.
“This can wait,” he growls before pulling me to him. “But what we want to do to you won’t. Let’s get you showered, woman, because I’m hungry.”
“Vaughn,” I say, huffing, my cheeks reddening.
He winks at me. “Don’t act like you aren’t eager to feed your two favorite men in this world.”
My thighs clench. Damn all these pregnancy hormones. Now that they’re home and we’re a team again, I’m feeling renewed and eager to spend some quality time with them. “Lead the way, lover.”
Five years later…
“Oh God,” Vale whimpers against Vaughn’s chest.
His brown eyes blaze with heat as he watches me. I love how intense he is sometimes. I grip my hard dick with my left hand and take a moment to admire the ring they bought me. We’re not married as far as the law is concerned, but our bond is unbreakable. We have a family together and our love never wanes.
“You ready to take both your husbands’ cocks?” I demand, slapping her curvy ass.
She groans. Vale fucking loves it when I refer to us as her husbands. “Yes,” she moans a little too loudly.
“Keep our girl quiet,” I instruct Vaughn. “Keep her pretty lips busy because I’m about to make her squeal.”
They start kissing as I pour lube on my dick. I rub it in and then spread some on her asshole. Her hips rock back and forth as she rides Vaughn’s dick. I toss the lube to the side a
nd grip her hip with my free hand. Then, I slowly ease into my sweet Vale’s ass. As always, she’s tight, especially when he’s inside her pussy. My eyes close as I push in. I love the way I can feel his dick just on the other side of her pussy walls. Once I’m deep inside her ass, I grip her hips and move her body to fuck us both. Her moans are loud, but she keeps getting silenced by his kisses.
Vaughn makes a sound of pleasure and our eyes meet. He kisses her, but his stare is on me. Together, we fuck her until she’s shuddering with a wild orgasm. Vaughn’s dick jolts and spasms inside her, which detonates me. I slide out of her ass and paint her pretty flesh with my cum. When I smear it across her ass, she lets out a scandalized huff.
“I like seeing my cum on you,” I tell her with a shrug.
“I like seeing it too,” Vaughn adds in agreement.
“I hate when you two tag team me,” she grumbles.
Both Vaughn and I snort with laughter.
“What?” she huffs.
“We literally just tag teamed you and you did nothing but whimper and beg for it.” I grin as she climbs off Vaughn and pouts. “Admit it, beautiful.”
Her lips twitch. “Fine, I love it.”
“That a girl,” Vaugh says, grinning as we head for the shower.
We end up getting frisky in the shower, but I slip out of the spray when my daddy senses alert me to the fact that one of our kids is awake. I quickly dry off and throw on some clothes before opening the bedroom door.
Leah stands in the hallway rubbing her eyes with one hand and holding her little sister Ember’s hand.
“What’s wrong?” I ask, kneeling on the carpet in front of them.
“Ember had a nightmare,” Leah says.
I scoop up Ember and walk them back to their room. Leah is a good big sister to the girls. Once inside their room, I smile to see Eliza sprawled out in her twin bed still snoring logs. Sleeps crazy just like her mom.
“Night, Daddy,” Leah says, hugging my thigh before climbing back on the top bunk that’s situated across from Eliza’s bed.
“Night, my beautiful girl.”
She beams at me and crawls under her covers.
Ember tugs my hand. She’s our silent girl. Where Eliza will blab your ear off about everything, Ember is reserved and quiet. I know she can speak, though, because when she doesn’t think we notice, I catch her singing to her baby brother Jace.
“Come on,” I tell her. “I’m sleepy. Got room in your bed for me?”
Ember nods, smiling. We squish together on the bottom bunk and I inhale her hair. I love my kids. Who knew that one day I’d have five of them? Now I get why Dad is always so stupid happy. Kids will do that to you.
Years ago if I tried to imagine my future, I would have hoped it would be this. Happy with Vaughn and Vale with a litter of kids to love. I wouldn’t have imagined we could make something like this work. But we do. And we do it well. It takes everyone doing their part to make it all successful.
I squeeze my daughter and she whispers, “I wuv you, Daddy.”
My heart clenches.
“Love you too, angel.”
Everyone has their parts in this family.
Vaughn is the fierce leader. The strength and the resilience. Vale is the love and laughter and sweetness. Our children are the lights, scaring away darkness forever. Together, we’re a team.
As for me?
I hold them all tightly together because I’m the glue.
And I’m never letting go.
