The wedding of Nikolay and Anya at the St Nicholas Russian Orthodox church went off without a hitch. Their friends from the Solarans crowded into the tiny church. The ceremony was traditional Russian Orthodox, which is colorful and beautiful. Following the wedding, they were driven to the Foster's house in the valley where they changed for the weddings at St Paul's. At noon the weddings at St Paul's were performed. In his homily, the address to the newlyweds, the priest noted, "Each person is different. That is just the way we are. From time to time these differences will cause friction. That is normal. Just remember that the glue to marriage is love. Love will smooth out those frictions. Some of the best words in any marriage are 'I'm sorry'. Do not be afraid to use them and do not abuse them. You are each different, but over time as you grow together, you will become more alike. Think of it this way. Southeast Alaska has many glaciers and fast moving streams. As time passes these rocks become smoother and smoother. The rough edges are worn away and the rocks start to look more and more alike. Right now each of you is a rough rock that has started the process to become smoother. Love will aid the process of becoming more alike. I wish each of you well in this process."

As the evening was drawing to a close, Andy arose and addressed the group,
