“Hello.”
ROBOT
Running some diagnostics on the ship after our drop from light speed, and checking the area for the Suuwok vessel, I heard specimen F3M89L calling out as I was bringing her supplements.
“Hello, are you there?” she asked.
She was in a part of the ship where she wasn’t really alone but she couldn’t tell because her surroundings were so dark. It was the only way my Captain could peruse the ship comfortably.
“Hello?” she called again.
I approached her quarters. “I have some food for you. If you would kindly step back.” I lowered the cube to the floor and slid it to the barrier. With the food being in a protected cube I am able to pass it through the barrier to her. She gasped as she saw the wall warble then return to a solid state.
“Just press the top and the panel will open allowing you to remove the food inside.” As I stood I left her to eat.
“Wait. Don’t go.” She pleaded softly.
“Yes, how can I assist you?”
“It’s lonely here. I could use some company.”
“Unfortunately you are the only Earth female species we have.”
“You mean you have other beings from other planets?”
“Yes. They are locked in cells along this corridor.” I moved to the side to show her but she squinted her eyes unable to see clearly.
“What is your name? What are you?” she asked me.
“I am called Robot. An aide to my Captain.”
A gentle smile appeared on her face. “That is not your name.”
I approached closer curious about her terminology. “It is what I am called.”
“What is your real name? The title given to you when you were, I dunno, activated.” She said lightly rolling her shoulders.
“Oh, that would be M5A7X12. I am a top of the line assembled robot. My home world of UR98D3 in the Pendkir galaxy was filled with many of my kind. We were created to be aides to many beings throughout the galaxy.”
“M9J…
“No. M5A7X12.”
She mumbled my name for a few moments then lifted her head. “How about I call you Max?”
“Max? But that is not my name.”
“I know. But it’s a lot easier to say than with the numbers and lot more formal than robot.”
I processed the new name. “Max. Yes. It is a lot easier to enunciate. Thank you F3M89L.” I nodded in acceptance. “Enjoy your nutrients.”
Her facial expression changed. “What did you call me?”
“The number my Captain gave you. F3M89L.”
She shook her head. “That is not my name.” She uttered harshly.
“It is how my Captain regards you. If you do not like you ID number then what shall I call you?”
She sighed gently palming her chest. “My name is Mireya.”
“It’s a nice name.”
She smiled. “Thank you.”
“Very nice to meet you Miss Mireya.” I extended my hand to her through the barrier. She gasped taking a step back then brought her hand forward to shake mine.
“How are you able to do that?”
“My shielding allows me to penetrate the barrier, to tend to all the creatures we have on board.” I pulled my hand back and for a moment she held my grip. Was she considering me pulling her through? Has she forgotten what happened already or does she think it was just a ploy? She twitches her face a moment longer allowing my hand to get closer to the barrier then she let me go.
“What kind of robot are you?”
“I am made with advanced technology allowing me all the senses I need to function for my Captain. I can see, smell, feel and taste on a microscopic level. Although I do not need to eat, my tasting methods help to detect poisons, DNA sequences and anomalies in bodily fluids. My sight, which you have experienced, allows me to see all within you for impurities. My sense of smell is able to detect the slightest scents of toxic gas harmful to my Captain.”
“So does that mean you have emotions as well?”
“Yes.”
She chews her lip excitedly. “Then you can understand my reasoning.”
I leaned my head to one side. “I can, but it will not help.”
She sighed heavily, her gaze going to the floor. “So I am not going back home?” she asked in a soft tone.
“No. We are too far to return.”
“Well can’t you just beam or transport me back?”
“No. If we did you would be outside of Earth’s atmosphere, suffocate and would disintegrate up upon reentry.
Her face frowned and then shook slowly. “Thank you for clearing that up.” She shrugged and shivered for a moment.
“Are you cold, is the light source not warm enough?”
“No, it’s fine. It was just the thought…never mind.”
She waved off then wrapped her arms across her chest. She let out a shuddered breath. Her body temperature and chemical imbalance was dropping. This will not be good for her. Sustained conversation may uplift her mood. Perhaps changing the subject should help.
“If you ever want your area warmer or cooler just say ‘warmth’ or ‘cool’ and it will adjust to suit you better.”
“What about when I want the light off or if it’s not bright enough?”
“The light works in the same fashion. It is designed for simple commands.”
She fingered the artificial strands of her hair behind her ear. “What about food?”
“I have observed your earth customs. There is a storage area for your meals. Although I have made small changes to what you normally eat.”
“What do you mean small changes?”
“The starches, sugar, and salty items you consume are not available.”
“So no chips, no fries, no candy?”
“Only well portioned meals will be fed to you, such as the one I provided.”
She knelt to the floor opening the cube. Her nose made several twitches then she stood up, not pleased. Brushing the strands of her hair off her shoulder she grumbled a few words.
“Great. It takes an Alien to put me on a diet. How long will it take to get to this home world?”
“We will need to make two more jumps to get there. We have made the first to get past your Milky Way.”
“So is it a day, a week, a month?”
“Oh, I see. You wanted the time calculated to that of Earth.”
Her brow knotted on her face. “Uh, yeah.”
“It will take three weeks earth time.”
She placed her hand on her mouth tapping at her cheek. “Okay, so I have three weeks to get him to change his mind about eating me.” She inhaled letting it out rubbing her neck. “What is this thing on my throat?” She asked stroking the stone.
“Its called a Caros stone. It allows us to monitor your health readings.”
“But when that light on the floor came on, it began to burn and I couldn’t move.”
“That is so you don’t hurt yourself in an attempt to escape our inspection.”
She takes a moment, chewing on the corner of her mouth. She looks down to the floor, and inhales softly before letting it out. Her face turns to meet mine.
“What about my bathroom duties? Are you going to hose me down or make me go in a bucket?” Her tone was deeper, her words crude.
“If that is what you would prefer, I will.”
“No.” she quipped. “I...I’m sorry. I didn’t me to snap at you.”
“I understand. I do have an area set up where you can use the facilities familiar to you. Allowing you privacy.”
“But I can’t breathe the air out there.”
“You wouldn’t be out here Miss. I would transport you to the room and bring you back when you were done.”
“Thank you Max. Your Captain made it sound as if this place was a torture chamber.” She sighed sounding relieved about her bathroom privileges. “So tell me about your Captain. How long have you known him?”
“He is a kind Cap
tain. I have been with him for many of your earth years.”
“How long is that?”
“Two hundred sixty two thousand eight hundred and seventy eight hours.”
“Um, okay. What kind of being is he? I mean does he have a family?”
“He is…a unique creature and soon he will have family. There is to be a joining when we return.”
“A joining?” she asked stepping closer to the barrier.
“Yes, a Nental. Like the marriages on Earth.”
“You mean that thing is getting married?” She screeched. She fingered her hair looking at me again. “You have to help me get out of here. I don’t want to be an all you can eat buffet item.” She whispered desperately.
“I don’t understand. Many years ago women of your culture were dressed ceremoniously for such things as this and gave themselves with honor.”
“What are you talking about? Those were virgins and they didn’t have a choice. Plus this is the 22nd century and we don’t do such things anymore.”
“Robot, you need to attend to your other duties.” My Captain instructed me.
“Yes Captain.” I looked at the saddened face of the female. “I must go.” As I walked off I took another look back at her then continued on. She is a nice human. Much nicer than the others we have encountered. As I check on the other creatures we have aboard the ship I repeat my new name. “Max.” Hmm, interesting. It does have a nice sound to it.
V59ON7
In the confines of my quarters, I have both flasks. One a dark blue to purplish color the other in bright shades of red to orange like the colors of the sun. The Suuwok wanted the female for the fear she emitted. I took a drink of the purple one. Instantly I felt stronger. Fearless. I felt as though I could do anything and no one could stop me. My reflexes were faster, my vision sharper and my strength higher than ever. Internally my body was changing. My body grew a size larger, my teeth extended longer, and my arms were bulging masses of muscle. It was amazing.
I entered a simulation chamber setting the difficulty at a higher level than normal for training and prepared myself to fight.
I was captivated by the power I wielded. The agility. I was able to take down many enemies with the new strength I had. Thousands of warriors fell at my feet with ease as I ripped them apart with my bare hands. But soon the feeling was dissipating and I soon shut the simulation off.
I was drained of energy. Felt weaker than I was before I drank the solution. My whole body intensely sore from the exercise. At my normal strength I never felt such a weakness. If the Suuwok were using her for such a purpose, they would need to keep a supply of her fear at the ready in order to keep fighting for so long.
I’m sure they could get the same results from any human, but why was this female so special to them? What other reason could they want her for? As my mind contemplated all possibilities for the Suuwok wanting the female, I came to one conclusion. I cannot allow them to get her.
After a cycle of rest, I returned to my natural size and senses. I sent the robot to perform checks on the other creatures. I saw it on the vidscreen conversing with the human. My eyes narrowed. I told it to not get attached. Why does the female insist upon creating a disturbance? I will need to placate her urges. It would have been easier to keep her in a cryo-chamber until I reach home but then it would take away from the full fresh flavor she would have.
I approached the confines of the human, being sure to not get to close so she could see me. After the scene in her residence, she would surely scream and use those colorful words again. The clouds of air along the ship allow me to breath the atmosphere of my planet, which is harmful to those not from there. This in effect is helpful for invaders, they need to be specially equipped to come on board.
I watched her eat the salad, picking at the leaves then tossing a few to the side. She drank some of the water and nibbled on the fruit.
The meal was more than suitable for her. She should have eaten it all considering it had been hours since she last ate. When she moved I accidentally knocked over a container alerting her to my position.
“Is someone there?” She asked pressing her hands and face to the barrier. “Hello.”
“It is I.” I stated. I noticed her color was a warm yellow. Was she pleased at hearing my voice?
“Where are you?” she questioned.
“You don’t have to worry, I won’t attack you again.”
“Thank you.” She laughed dryly. Her head bobbed back and forth searching for a glimpse of me. “Are…are you some sort of monster?”
“No. Many of your Earth people could be considered monsters for the acts they perform on one another.”
Her thick body held unusual curvatures, but of the men I observed on Earth, they enjoy women with such curves in high regard although her mate was not one of them. Her long desert colored hair hung just off her shoulders and moved fluidly when she would tilt her head back and forth. Her eye color resembles the soil of U4RD9 or the clay mud of the Africa’s on Earth.
When she licked her lips there were soft impressions on the sides of her face. Her long legs were thick with muscle and extra fat. The meals we make for her will help to tone her more. Her stomach and upper body were large and will need to have extensive work done. If she wasn’t to be part of the celebration she would have made a nice pet for a time.
“I want to see you.” She expressed to me.
The female has visions of what would be a suitable image of me. Maybe in this form she would be more cooperative to my orders.
“I am able to make myself more presentable to you. If you would only touch the barrier and close your eyes.”
“Why?”
“The barrier allows for mental projection. Simply think of how I look and I will receive the image.”
Her eyes searched the room but still could not see me blended within the confines of the darkness. I could sense the fear, smell it in the air. I closed my eyes briefly relishing in the flavor. Her heightened scent is unlike any I have ever come across. It was an aroma so exotic I couldn’t help but to keep smelling it. A flavor so rare, I kept moving my tongue around just for a taste. A delectable treat indeed. I may not be able to hold back on eating her much longer at this rate.
Her thoughts come to me again, she still has an idea she will be saved, by the robot. Such a simple human. Befriending that thing will not get her home. It is of no use to her. I will enforce the words I spoke before to it.
She was still in the process of debating what I am, the giant snake being from her place or a being much worse than the Suuwok. She hesitated as she brought her hand up then placed it upon the barrier. When the image came to me I grunted as my body began to shift. It was a strain on my natural size.
My mammoth arms shrunk to conform to the size but maintained a muscular form. My height dwindled down to where only my fingertips could touch the ceiling, and my lower body transformed to the two legs which were awkward in comparison with my upper half. This will take some getting used to. I glanced down at the figure she thought of and slowly stepped closer so she could see her vision.
I noticed her eyes widen and her lips moved a bit in a satisfactory look. Her thoughts were causing an excitement in her. The nubs on her breasts were protruding through her shirt, pheromones were heightened and her heart rate increased.
This is the kind of man she is attracted to? Her selections are very limited if this is all she could come up with. It reminds me of the small male plastic objects we collected called toys.
As I got closer her gaze went from my head to my lower extremities.
“Umm, you don’t have…where is your…” Her hand was shaking as she was pointing at me.
I glanced down unsure as to what was missing. “What are you referring to?”
“Umm, where I’m from, men have a…penis. You don’t have one.”
Penis? She must be referring to the extension males have on their lower bodies used for expelling bodily waste and procreation.
“I have one. It’s not meant to be on the outside.”
She twisted her head. “What do you mean?”
I made a motion to have my ‘penis’ come out for the human to see. She smiled then her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. Upon reaching my full length she pressed her head to the glass.
“Its so….big.” she whispered.
I glanced at myself. “This is small in comparison to my natural length.”
She glanced up at me again, then back down to my penis. Her heart rate was rising, her breathing sharp and her thoughts were of me penetrating her to the point she would be ripped apart. I glanced to her, focusing my attention on what she was mentally projecting.
The mating ways of humans offer a bit to the imagination. The man holding the woman in such a way to prevent her from moving. Legs and arms wrapped around the male, in a cocoon hold as he grunts tirelessly until he expels a hard breath.
Interesting. I continued to see her vision, her heavy gaze darting back and forth from me to my extension. As she swallowed, the activity I was witnessing intrigued me, somewhat aroused me and my extension moved in response. When she saw it rise, she inhaled slowly as her eyes rolled in her head then she slowly fell on the floor.
I stumbled to the barrier, my extension dangling by my thigh, in a futile effort to keep her from damaging herself. Falling in such a way cannot be good for her brain.
Now that I have been fashioned with a mouth, it took a second to work my jaw and massage my vocal chords to be able to talk. I sounded out the verbal acuity tones then voiced the word I needed to say.
“Robot!”
The robot came quickly down the hall. “Captain? Captain, you can talk.” His orbs glanced over me then to the unconscious female. “Captain, you have changed?”
“The human wanted to see me. Upon completing the mental projection, I showed the human her vision.”
“Curious.” The robot said. Its orbs grazing over the female in observation then coming back to me. “My readings show she is not dead, nor was her brain damaged from the fall.”
