  Twenty

Waking I try to move my hands to wipe the sleep from my eyes only I can't move them. I'm laying on something hard and cold. My eyes dart around in a panic. It's an empty room, empty except for me and the table like device I'm strapped to. "Hello?" I call out knowing full well I'm being watched. I hear a heavy door slide open scraping against the cement floor.

"Baby girl." I hear him say as he enters the room.

"Avil what is going on?" I try.

"You tell me, Ellie. Where have you been for the last couple days? Hum?" he asks stepping right up to my side. I crane my neck to look at him letting the tears form in my eyes. My head still hurts from the impact of whatever Dean hit me with but I give the performance my all. Trying to deceive the horrible man at my side.

"I don't know what happened. I was leaving the restroom at the party and someone cornered me and drugged me." Tears stream freely now and I sniff for effect. "I woke up in some old hotel. I was so scared all I could think about was getting back home." Sobbing more sobbing. I would try for an ugly cry but that might be pushing it. "There was a man there he kept asking if I remembered him. He was so scary Avil. He was scarred and ugly." I lie trying to gauge his reaction. "I ran as fast as I could as soon as I got the chance. Please, why am I tied? What did I do Avil?"

"Oh baby girl." He coos stepping closer so he can wipe away my tears. "You are alright now. Did they hurt you?" he asks but I only shake my head in return. "How did you get away Ellie?" his voice turns harsh and he grabs my jaw squeezing it hard. "How did little you get away from a compound full of bikers? How did you manage to escape Vin?" he grits out.

"They were partying. I only had to get past the guy guarding the back gate. He was just a kid. I just wanted to get home." I give a little emphasis on home, hoping it will fool him more but he just smiles and backs up. Crossing his arms over his chest. That is when I hear clapping coming from the doorway entering the room.

"She is quite the actress son. Feisty and beautiful. I can see the appeal." Dean walks into the room and goes to stand next to Avil. "She does look somewhat like Makayla with her hair like that." He says and the diary comes back to my mind. Without even thinking I look at Avil and open my mouth.

"You're Ace." I say making him scowl and come at me so fast I don't even see it coming. He wraps his hand around my throat and squeezes. "Where the fuck did you hear that name?" he growls out spittles landing on my face. "You do not call me that. Ever! Fucking slut I knew I should have killed you that night." Saliva pools in my mouth and I use the last bit of strength I have to send it flying into his face. He jerks himself back long enough to wipe the spit from his face then slams his fist into my head right where my healed gunshot wound is. Blinding white light flashes through my vision as the pain slices my skull. I wretch right there but with not being able to move far it ends up all over me. Rolling down my chin and onto my chest I even choke a little on what doesn't leave my mouth which makes me gag even more.

"Fucking bitch." Avil mumbles and walks out of the room only to return with a bucket. I watch him out of the corner of my eye lift the bucket and throw ice cold water onto my face to wash some of the vomit away. It sends a shock to my body and I suck in a sharp breath. Shit that was cold.

"Well, son. It is up to you. Kill her now or you can wait to see if you have another son on the way. Personally, I don't think one woman is worth all this hassle." He walks out the door leaving us alone. I scoff at his statement.

"Might as well kill me now. I can't have children, chances of me being pregnant are slim to none." I tell him with a smile the knowledge of him never getting me pregnant again being somewhat comforting. I was happy for that memory to come back to me. He considers me for a moment then smiles.

"You still could be useful." He says coming back to my side, his smile growing. "I still have someone out there who needs to die and you make such wonderful bait."

"He won't come after me," I say knowing full well he doesn't believe me.

"If you believe that you are one stupid bitch." Avil's says walking to the door turning right before shutting it behind him to flick off the light. "Sweet dreams Baby Girl." He flicks the switch and slams the heavy metal door shut shrouding me in darkness.
