Yay! I’ll let my dad know. Xoxo – K
**
All night I worked on Bryce’s website, from talking with him over the last few months, I sort of had an idea. I showed what I started to Bryce and he was excited and gave me the rest of his notes on everything. Took me five hours to make it epic. Most people take longer, but I’m the best. When I finished everything up, I showed him, and he didn’t know what to say. We still have a few kinks to work out obviously, and he doesn’t want a buy now button or appointment booking on it just yet. Wants to wait for the shop to get busy first, then do that. Which is fine for me.
I give him a quick kiss when I see Alana walk in and I smile at her. “Hey, you ready to go?” she asks.
“Sure am!” I turn to Bryce and grin. “Waxing day.”
Shaking his head, he gives me a wink and whispers in my ear, “Make sure it’s a girl that does it, I would hate to kill someone otherwise.”
Laughing I push him away. “Crazy man.” I loop my arm in Alana’s, as she smiles over her shoulder giving Bryce a wave, and we head out.
“So what do you usually get done?” Alana asks me.
“Nothing, I refuse to shave it because it comes back all itchy and it’s so much upkeep, and no way in hell is wax touching my vagina,” I tell her.
“So, then why are you coming with me?”
“Because, I need it trimmed. I keep it neat and short. Trust me, you’ll love Alix’s way of waxing, not one person screams out and leaves that place crying. However, if you were getting Hayley to wax you, well…” I trail off.
Laughing, she hip checks me. “I’ve been getting this done forever, I’m sure I would have been fine with Hayley.”
I tug her arm and make her look at me. “No, trust me, no. Why do you think I booked us in today, on Hayley’s day off? I would never even let that crazy woman near my vagina, ever. Never ever. Trust me.”
“You’re weird. But whatever you say. I actually like those girls. They are interesting.”
Snorting, I tell her, “Yeah, real interesting, those two are psychos, but they are the best.” I smile.
Walking into Haylix Salon, I say hi to the receptionist and let her know we’re there for our appointments. “Are you two okay with not having Alix do this? She and Hayley both are out today.”
“Is Alix okay?” I ask.
“Oh yes, she’ll be fine, just has the flu. And Hayley is off today.”
“You okay with that?” I ask Alana.
“Yup.”
The girls that work on us do a good job, normally I would have just rescheduled because I don’t like other people touching me when I have only ever used Alix.
“I can’t believe you didn’t even whimper.” I say, shocked.
“I told you, I get it done all the time. Anyway, thanks for coming with me, but I gotta get going, I’m meeting up with Matt. We’ll plan a night out this weekend?”
“Will do! Maybe I can get you drunk enough to talk you into a tattoo.” She laughs, shaking her head no.
One day I will get her to get one.
I walk back to my apartment with a spring in my step. I never thought I could ever be this happy.
Chapter 15
Bryce
I spend the day after Kristi and Alana left to look over the website Kristi set up for me. God, she has real talent with this. Shutting the place down, I decide to head over to Kristi’s apartment, thinking of seeing her has me hard, again. All I can picture is what she’ll look like when I strip her out of her pants and feast on her.
I finally have my dick under control when I knock on her door, but the second she opens it, wearing only a tee shirt, my dick is at attention once again. Before I can think straight, I slam my lips on hers.
Tonight there is no holding back. I know what I want and I can no longer deny my attraction to her. Kristi bites her bottom lip and tosses the tee-shirt over her head, revealing her sexier than sin body. A body made to be worshiped by my mouth. I growl ferociously as I follow her retreating body to her bedroom.
“You have on way too many clothes, dude,” she says with a smirk, her eyes roaming my body.
I chuckle and undo my belt, dropping my pants to the floor and kicking off my shoes. Next, I shed my tee-shirt and join her on the bed, where she hungrily waits for me. When our bodies collide for the first time, it’s like every dream I have ever had about her is coming true, all rolled into one epic encounter. Her teeth nip at my neck as I finger her sweet pussy–so hot and ready for me. There’s no soft and slow it’s fast and furious. I’m taking what I want. Her hips arch into me and she says, “No more foreplay. I’m tired of waiting for you, Bryce. I know you want me.”
She’s damn straight I want her. I want her bad. And now I am going to have her. Replacing my finger with my throbbing cock, I slide in as she greedily accepts my intrusion. A soft moan of pleasure leaves her lips as she tugs on my hair, nearly making me come already. She feels better than I ever imagined. Our bodies move in sync as we bump and grind against one another. Dipping my head, I pay special attention to her tits. She squirms beneath me when I suck her nipple into my mouth and nip it with my teeth. She’s so fucking perfect; I could die a happy man.
I circle my hips and thrust in and out faster and faster, quickening my pace. Her nails scratch down my back as she bites my shoulder. “I’m so close, Bryce. So close,” she begs for release.
I roll us over so that she is on top. I smack her bottom and tell her, “Ride me.” I want her in control. I want to feel her orgasm coating my cock. She rides me, bouncing up and down my shaft until she hits her sweet spot, and within seconds of her coming, I am doing the same.
Laying there, in the afterglow of fucking each other almost to death, I smile. “Finally. I thought that was never going to happen.” I smirk at Kristi.
“Spend the night with me?” she asks quietly, laying her head on my chest. I should say no, but right now, in this moment, I want nothing more.
“Yeah, babe, I’ll stay.”
Doesn’t take long for her to fall asleep on top of me, when I’m almost out myself, her mumbling in her sleep has me wide awake. “Mmhmm, love you, Bryce.”
Worry creeps into my body, none of this felt wrong, not in anyway. Except now, I know I have to hurt Alana, hell I already did by making love to Kristi.
Chapter 16
Alana
I stayed up all night, worrying about Bryce. I tried texting both Kristi and him to see what they were up to. But neither one texted me back. I knew they were together, and watching them together, hanging out with them while they are together, has hurt. But not as much as I thought it would.
Since I started pretending to date Matt, whenever we would go on groups dates, I’ve started falling for him. Half the time we would be out, I’d forget that Kristi and Bryce were even there with us. I felt guilty at first, but the more I saw the way Bryce would look at Kristi, the more he spoke of her, I knew I had no right to feel that way. Bryce and I ran our course, now we both deserve to be with people that make our hearts explode.
I can clearly see it in the way Bryce looks at her, in the way he talks about her, that he’s in love with her. He never looked at me the way he looks at Kristi.
It’s time for me to let him go and get him to admit it to himself that she’s the one he should be with. I love Bryce, but maybe I’m not in love with him. Kristi is such an amazing person, I want her to be happy.
I hear the front door open, and look up from the TV to see Bryce come into the living room, guilt written all over his face.
I give him a weak smile. “It’s okay, Bryce,” I tell him.
“How can it be okay? That was the one thing I promised you I wouldn’t do. I wouldn’t sleep with her, and I did,” he confesses.
Hearing that he really did sleep with her last night, hurts. But not in the right way. It hurts that he’s feeling so guilty about it. It hurts in a way that if Kristi finds out the truth, it will crush her.
I get
up off the couch and go to him, placing my hands on his face. “Bryce, you love her. You need to stop feeling guilty about this. I’m not hurt by you sleeping with her. I’ve noticed it for a while now, you’re falling in love with her. You deserve to be happy, and she deserves you. You are perfect for each other,” I tell him.
“What?” he says, confused. “But I love you.”
Giving him another weak smile. I shake my head no. “You might love me, Bryce, but you aren’t in love with me. And maybe I’m not in love with you, either. We worked, then we didn’t. You need to admit it to yourself, then you need to tell Kristi the truth,” I say, pulling his face down, and kissing him on the cheek.
“I don’t know how I’m supposed to tell her the truth.”
“I don’t know either. She always comes across as strong but I think if she found out about you, me, her sister—this would destroy her. I would suggest maybe we don’t have to tell her, but the truth always comes out. Somehow, someway. So we all have to fess up. Before it’s too late.”
His shoulders sag in defeat. “I know. I just don’t want to hurt her.”
“I don’t either, but at the same time, she’s Ava’s best friend.” I bite my lip, waiting for him to say something.
His head jerks up and he looks shocked. “You shitting me? Ava? Cameron’s Ava?” He gets off the couch and starts pacing. “I should have known. Why didn’t I know this sooner? Kristi used to talk about her best friend Lynnie when we were kids.” He stops pacing. “Wait, Lynnie isn’t an Ava. How are they friends?” He looks cute when he’s confused.
“Ava’s full first name is Avalynn.”
“Fuck!” he roars.
“Bryce, calm down! I spoke with Ava, she’s keeping this a secret,” I tell him. When Ava called me after seeing pictures on Facebook of Bryce and Kristi together, she got worried. Thankfully, she let me explain everything to her. But she was still worried for her friend and hated lying.
“Are you sure? Because I have to figure this out. I have to tell her myself, before anyone else. It has to come from me.”
“And it will. I won’t say anything, Ava isn’t, Emma won’t for sure.”
“This is so fucked up. If I had just told you months ago, we could have avoided this whole mess. Then I could have started dating Kristi without this shit going on.”
Wait. Months ago? “What are you talking about?”
“I didn’t know it was Kristi, okay, not until I saw the picture Emma gave me. But I bumped into her a few times, and well…” He trails off. Shaking his head, he continues, “Nothing ever happened, I promise you. But I felt this jolt, and I hate to admit this, but she’s the reason I stopped having sex with you, because I felt guilty when I would jack off in the shower and picture her sucking me off.”
I burst out laughing. “I know I should be angry about this, but I’m not. I’m just happy you are so in love with her.”
“I feel like a dick. I never wanted to hurt you. I’m not a cheater.”
“Bryce, please stop. I haven’t been honest with you either. In fact, ever since I met Seth’s brother, Matt, I’ve been crushing on him hugely. And a few of those group dates we’ve had, well, we may have kissed.”
He gives me a half-smile and then shakes his head. “We’ve made a mess out of everything, didn’t we?”
“Don’t say that, we’ll figure it all out, I promise. And then we can plan your wedding.” I give him a wink, and pull him onto the couch as we talk, trying to come up with a plan on how to tell Kristi the truth.
Chapter 17
One week later
Kristi
“Is something wrong?” I ask Bryce. We’re on our way to visit my dad, but since he picked me up this morning he’s been acting weird.
“Do you mind if I drop you off at your dad’s and come back a little later? There is something I really have to do first, and if I don’t do it right away, I won’t have the courage to do it later.”
“Um sure, can I ask what that would be?” I ask trying to get a little more information out of him.
“I need to talk to my brother. A real talk, about our mom, mostly.” We’ve talked about his issues with his mom and Vinny. Knowing he’s finally going to sit down with his little brother has me feeling happy. Maybe they will finally have a relationship.
“I’m glad you’re going to talk to him, it will be good for you. Just come to me when you’re done, or hell, stay and get drunk with him, we can just see each other tomorrow.”
He laughs and gives my hand a squeeze.
Thirty minutes later, we pull into my dad’s driveway and I get out, taking my bag with me. Giving Bryce a quick kiss through the driver’s side window I remind him, “Text me later to let me know, so I don’t have to worry if you’re coming back or not.”
“I will,” he says, giving me another kiss and pulls away. Before I get to the front door it opens and my dad comes out.
“Missed you, kid!” I laugh as he picks me up and spins me.
“I visit and call you all the time,” I say once he puts me down.
“Still, it’s not enough, I miss you now that you don’t live with me.” He grabs my bag and we walk into the house. “Emma isn’t here. She decided to go to the cabin with that new boyfriend of hers.” He grumbles, not sounding happy about it.
“That shithead, she promised she’d be here this weekend.”
“Yeah, I know, but when she found out the cabin was free for the weekend, she said she couldn’t pass it up.” We have a cabin near the mountains that Dad rents out, and when it isn’t being used, we usually take that as a chance for a getaway. I haven’t been there in years though.
“I wanted to tell her no, but she’s nineteen now, can’t really control her. I made sure to give her a box of condoms, though.”
I laugh. “She’ll be smart and safe, don’t worry about it. Gotta let us fly, Daddy.”
“Where’s this boy of yours?”
We sit on the couch after grabbing a few beers. “He needed to talk with his brother, so he just dropped me off. If this talk goes well, he might not be here tonight, but you’ll get to meet him tomorrow.”
We talk until we have nothing left to talk about, telling him about school, my new friend, Alana, filling him in on Ava’s life these days. Just before we place an order for pizza, I get a text, letting me know Bryce will be staying with his brother tonight and I smile.
The talk must have gone well.
After we eat and watch a movie, I notice the time, eleven, I start yawning. “Why don’t you head on up to your room and get some sleep. I’ll make you bacon for breakfast tomorrow.”
I grin. “Sounds good. Night, Dad, love you.” I say as I head up the stairs and quickly fall asleep the second my head hits the pillow.
Bryce
I pull into the clubhouse’s parking lot and take a good look around. They really revamped everything, wow. The main building still looks like a warehouse, but I notice a huge fenced-in playground area off to the side, and further back are mobile homes with their own fence around them.
Getting out of my car, I walk over to the playground area, and see Vinny sitting on a picnic table smoking, fidgeting with his beanie, like usual.
“Hey, man,” he calls as he sees me come close.
I lift my chin in response and sit across from him on the other side.
“Gotta say, I was shocked you wanted to meet up. Didn’t think it was something you’d ever wanna do willingly.”
“Yeah, well, I didn’t think I would either. But my girl has been after me, for a while now, to try and fix our relationship. So here I am. Plus, I need to talk to you about Mom.”
“Shit, I haven’t talked to her in years. Not after the nasty shit she kept saying about and to Lilly. Just done with her.”
“Yeah, well, ditto that. But chances are she might try and contact you. Just giving you a heads up.”
He groans. “Great.”
“I’m suing her. Talked to a lawyer about Dad’
s will, the trust funds he left us. How Mom took every dime from mine. She’ll be getting jail time.”
Chuckling, he says, “Oh man, shit. This is good. Glad she’s finally getting what’s coming to her. I always thought what she did to you was a shit deal, but you didn’t seem all that broken up about not having that money.”
Rubbing the back of my neck, I sigh. “That was until I needed the damn money for my shop. But before I get into that shit with you, I gotta let you know what Mommy Dearest told me when she confronted me about me suing her.”
He looks at me for a moment and tenses. “You know, don’t you?”
“How’d you know?”
“Twelfth grade science, we did a project on DNA, and you and I matched, but compared to Mom’s, you two didn’t share any DNA.”
“Yeah, to say I was shocked would be an understatement, but I’m kind of relieved, to be honest.”
“Don’t blame you, I even double-checked it with mine, because I was hoping I’d get that result too, no luck. I’m cursed.”
We both laugh. Sort of feels good to be laughing with my brother. It’s been a long damn time since we did this.
“So, what else is up? Lilly says you’re in a relationship with Kristi, who would have thought that, huh? She still crazy as shit?”
I smile at him. “That’s something else I need to talk with you about. Fuck.” I hang my head and start filling him on everything. How Emma offered to pay for expanding and all the construction at my shop, if I dated her sister. How I fell in love with Kristi, out of love with Alana. All of it. From the first date, Ava even knowing, right up until I dropped her off a few hours ago.
He doesn’t say a word until I finish. “Well shit. We’re more alike than I thought. Only difference is, you didn’t knock them both up. But you do realize that even though you and Alana aren’t together anymore, if Kristi finds out how this all started, she will fucking gut you man. That girl holds a grudge better than anyone I have ever known. And there is barely a chance she’ll ever forgive you.”
