“Good,” Roz said with a smile.

Then Mick removed his arm from around her waist. “Anyway,” he said, getting out of bed, “let’s go. This isn’t about them, it’s about you.”

Roz was confused. “But go where?” she asked.

“Out of this hotel. You’re the toast of Broadway. I want to show you off. They’re going to know your name when it’s all said and done. This is your time, Rosalind. You’re going to enjoy it.”

Roz’s heart swelled with emotion. Never a man so good to her. Not ever. And she gladly, cheerfully, got out of bed.
