  He stiffened a little. “Are we bringing out some baggage here on our honeymoon?”

  “No…not baggage. Package, maybe.”

  He hiked up on one elbow and stared at her. “What are you telling me, Jeannie?”

  “We weren’t safe from having a baby.”

  “You’re having my baby?”

  “I am.”

  “Well, that’s just fine then,” he said, settling back down. “But I have to warn you, Dell says we have to name it after him.”

  “As long as we don’t have to name it after his grandmother.”

  “I love you, Jeannie Salazar.”

  “And I love you, Chance Salazar.”

  “So, what are we going to wish for today?”

  “How about this?” she asked.

  “Oh, I like that wish. How about this one?”

  “That’s good, too.”

  “And this?”

  “Just perfect,” she sighed. “Absolutely perfect.”
