“I’d rather you do it.” She placed his palm over her naked breast. He rolled her nipple between his forefinger and thumb. He bent forward to trace the circle of her areola with his tongue. Then sucking on her nipple he drew her deeper into his mouth, sending hot bolts of fire between her legs.

“Do you remember all the times I snuck out of the house to meet you here? You made me burn so hot back then and you still do. I feel like I’m on fire. You’re the only one who can put out the flames. It’s always been you, Travis. Always.”

He raised his head from her chest to hold her gaze for a moment before pulling her hard against him. “You’re my world, baby.”

She straddled his lap. He slid his hand into the folds of flesh between her creamy thighs. His gaze bore into hers as he inserted two fingers inside her pussy.

“Oh god…” His fingers felt so good moving inside her. She pressed down against his hand and his thumb found her clit. She needed to touch his cock. The snap of his jeans popped loose when she yanked at the waistband. She lowered the zipper to stroke him while his fingers continued their dance in her pussy.

“Take them off.” She panted. Heat seared through her, setting her flesh on fire.

Travis released her to move his pants out of the way. Lorna rose up on her knees and guided him inside. In one swift movement she slammed against him, taking the full length of his cock deep inside her.

“Damn, woman.” He lowered his head. His kiss was deep and full of hunger. His cock throbbed inside her. Lorna raised up until only the tip was still in her and then slammed down on him again. “Keep that up and I’ll come.”

  “That’s the point isn’t it?”

“Not this fast.” He grabbed her hips so she couldn’t move. “Just hold still a minute.”

He concentrated on the small lights glowing on the fake cavern walls, anything to hold him back for a few minutes longer. Being in Lover’s Lagoon, seeing her strip and then touching her like those late nights when they’d snuck up here had nearly been his undoing.

“Fuck it. I can’t wait.” He raised her up and slammed his cock hard into her, pulling her down with the same force that he pumped into her.

“Yes! I want you wild.” Lorna held onto his shoulders and rode him hard, meeting every animal thrust with one of her own. He always held back but now, he was losing control. She liked it. She pinched his nipples and added more force into her thrusts. His breathing shook with gasps, matching her panting.

“Come on baby!” He grunted the words out as he pounded into her faster.

She crested with him. Her body pulsated around his cock. Moving slower she still rode him until he pressed his palms against her back, forcing her onto his chest. She sagged her weight against him.

  “That was incredible.”

“Yeah, you are.” Lorna breathed against his ear. “You’re the most amazing man I’ve ever known.”

Travis kissed her. This time his lips were soft and gentle against hers. He nibbled at her bottom lip. “I could stay like this forever.”

“Me too.” Lorna held onto him, relaxing in the warmth of his love.

A loud whirring sound filled the cavern. Lights glowed brighter as voices outside indicated that a maintenance crew was coming inside.

“We’d better get dressed.” Lorna moved back to the other side of the seat, grabbed her clothes and started putting them back on. “This was fun. You were right. We’ve spent too many years worrying about being seen instead of enjoying each other.”

Travis dressed, peddled the boat back to the dock and helped Lorna out. “Want to take a walk on the beach?”

“Of course I do. Hey, look at that!” Lorna walked over to a full length wavy mirror and stopped. “Something’s happening.”

His reflection in the mirror agreed with her. Why could he see himself? Granted it was a faint reflection, but it was there just the same. “This doesn’t make sense.”

“Maybe it’s the waves in the mirror. My reflection is missing. Do you think this means we’re going into the light this year?”

“I don’t know. It might. Those damn rules were so vague.” He walked away with Lorna by his side. “The powers that be, whoever they are, didn’t give us enough information. Let’s find another mirror.”

Holding hands, Travis kept her close, moving through the crowd, searching all of Surfside for another mirror. “I think there was only one.”

“I bet it means we’re leaving this year. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?”

“I hope you’re right. Cross onto the beach here.” He indicated a small path through the dunes that led to the ocean.

Still holding her hand, he swung it gently in time with their steps as they headed in silence toward downtown. Lost in thought, a feeling of dread filled him. It was as if time was spiraling down, rushing them to a quick end.

  That’s just stupid.

Time was for waiting, not spinning out of control. Still he couldn’t extinguish the feeling that they’d missed so much.

“It’s so hot out here. Let’s change the subject okay? Just thinking about everything we didn’t get to experience is sad.”

“I don’t want you to be unhappy.” Travis stopped and wrapped his arms around her. “Thinking of things we missed isn’t what today is about. Today is about fun. No worries, no regrets. I don’t see anyone on the beach do you?”

Lorna looked around him. “There’s no one to the South.”

  “No one to the North.”

They both looked toward the boardwalk.

“Looks like we’re all alone out here. Funny huh?” Lorna grinned up at him. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

“Oh yeah, let’s do it.” Travis stepped back and pulled his shirt over his head while kicking off his shoes. He undid the buttons on his jeans. “It’s not like anyone will see us anyway. Last one in the water is a rotten egg.”

Lorna’s body tingled with anticipation of the cold wet ocean against her skin. She scrambled to remove her clothing and then ran naked beside Travis into the surf. She dived under the water. When she surfaced he grabbed her, tugging her naked body against him. She linked her fingers behind his neck.

“Do you think anyone saw us?” She knew they hadn’t but she still hoped.

“Nah.” He laughed and cupped the curve of her buttocks. “You feel silky smooth.”

“Why do you think it hasn’t happened yet?” She reached between his legs and wrapped her fingers around his cock, gliding her hand up and down his shaft.

“I can’t really think straight with you touching me like that.” He bent his knees until they were neck deep in the water.

“Then don’t think about it now, just love me.” She kissed the tip of his nose.

“With the ocean this still, I think I can manage that.” He kissed her neck. “What about sharks?”

“Sharks?” Lorna clung tighter to him in mock fear, flattening her breasts against his chest and then laughed. “I’m not afraid of sharks, are you?”

“You better be afraid of this shark because I’m going to eat you.” Travis unwrapped Lorna’s legs from around his waist. Taking a deep breath he went underwater and positioned himself between her legs. Running his tongue up the length of her, he slid two fingers inside and rubbed her clit. Tight muscles clamped around his fingers and pulsated with her orgasm. Moments later he emerged from the sea. Spitting the salt water from his mouth he drew in a deep breath of air.

“Damn that was erotic. I’ve never come that fast.” Lorna laughed and slid her hands against his chest to his broad shoulders. “Want me to do it to you?”

“No, you might drown.” Travis grinned. Holding her waist, he plunged his tongue inside her mouth. When her breathing became shallow he deepened the kiss even more, nudged her feet out from under her and fell with her into the ocean. The water heightened the sensations.

Lorna broke away and rose back to the surface. She pushed the hair out of her eyes as an idea sparked in her mind. She took Travis’s cock wit
hin both hands and felt the length of him. Spreading her legs she slipped lower in the warm water where she could reach one hand underneath to massage his balls. “Float on your back, Travis.”

“Seriously?” He looked down at her as if he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“You wouldn’t want me to drown would you?” She winked at him. “Not that I could.”

“No, I wouldn’t want that.” He held her close, sliding his cock against her abdomen. “I don’t know if this will work though.”

“The waves are small today. The ocean is practically flat. Besides, we’re in deep enough that it might. If it does you’ll be very happy, if it doesn’t we’ll be underwater.”

Travis chuckled and lay back, floating on top of the water, arms held to the sides as he rocked slightly in the slow movement of the ocean. Lorna held him up with one hand underneath the small of his back so that his cock protruded into the air. She angled him toward her and slid her lips down the length of him. He grew even more rigid in her mouth as she sucked. The soft silkiness of his cock tasted like sea salt. She rose up and then plunged her mouth down on him again.

A swell washed over them. The motion jerked him free of her mouth and sent them tumbling beneath the surface. Moments later he appeared beside her and took her mouth in a savage kiss, drawing the air from her lungs with its intensity. He held her legs apart and slid his cock along her pussy, teasing her clit with the head before he entered her. He sucked her tongue into his mouth, savoring the sweet, salty taste.

The urgency of Travis’s kiss sent rockets of desire straight to her clit. Her nipples were taut even in the warm ocean water. She pressed against his chest, enjoying the feel of her skin slipping against his hard wet muscles. Travis broke the kiss and stared into her eyes. She couldn’t look away, didn’t want to. Her dream was have him this close all the time so she could see the deep emotions radiating from his soul through those beautiful baby blues.

It was exciting and dangerous to be completely naked in the ocean making love to Travis while anyone could walk down the beach or drive by in a boat, see them and know what they were doing. The thoughts titillated her.

If only someone would see them out here.

The images of people standing on the beach, watching Travis making love to her, ran through her mind, bringing her closer to orgasm. She’d never been an exhibitionist but the thought held a certain appeal.

Travis pulled her hips down hard with his hands. He pumped into her, moving with the current until she couldn’t hold back any longer. The orgasm rocked through her. She clenched her muscles around his cock, milking him to the same pleasure. He yelled her name when he came and gripped her body against his, lowering his head to her shoulder.

“Look right there, don’t you see that naked man on the beach?” Valerie pointed toward the ocean. “To the left of the lifeguard stand.”

“What‘s he doing?” Philip leaned further against the boardwalk railing, craning his neck to look up and down the empty beach.

Valerie gazed at Phil, clad only in shorts and sandals. His tanned body shimmered with suntan oil and his long hair, bleached blond by the sun, was caught in the wind and blew back from his handsome face. His dark eyes had golden flecks that always entranced her. She’d always found him irresistible. How she’d finally managed to get a date with him was beyond her. After all, she wasn’t anything special to look at and his little sister’s best friend.

“He’s walking up the beach naked. Don’t people know this isn’t the nudie section?” The heat of a blush rose up her face. She hadn’t had sex with Philip yet, they’d only been dating a month and she wanted to make sure he was really interested in her and not looking for an easy lay. “Now he’s putting on jeans and a black t-shirt.”

“You’ve lost it, Val. I don’t see anyone that’s naked out there.” He turned to face her. “But, since you brought up nude men…” he leaned in and gave her a quick kiss, “don’t you think it’s about time we got around to shedding some clothes ourselves? I think it’s time we had sex. This waiting is killing me, babe.”

She did think it was time. “Maybe we could be alone after the party tonight. Are you still going to dress up like my knight in shining armor?”

  “Like, whatever, dudette.” Phil sing-songed.

Val laughed as Phil interlocked his fingers with hers. She stared at the man she’d been watching as he walked down the boardwalk.

“I think we need to get out of the sun for a while since you’re hallucinating.” Phil turned to face her. “Seriously. Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. Why?” She looked into his eyes now filled with concern.

“Duh! I don’t see a naked man. Not that I want to see him but you’re worrying me with seeing people that aren’t there.”

“Shh, he’s right in front of us,” Valerie whispered and hung onto Philip’s arm.

She watched the gorgeous man walk by. When he glanced at her Valerie gave him a big smile. His eyes widened in surprise but he didn’t say hello so neither did she.

“Let’s go get some ice cream.” Philip drew her away from the rail and down the sidewalk. “If that doesn’t help I’m taking you to the walk-in clinic.”

They fell in step behind the man as he walked from the boardwalk into the shopping areas. What Valerie couldn’t understand was why Philip didn’t see him when he was walking right in front of them. Granted there were other people on the street getting ready for the night’s festivities but there wasn’t anyone else in a black tee. There had to be a logical explanation for it. Like sunstroke. Maybe Philip was right and she needed to go to the clinic.

Someone clasped their hand around Valerie’s wrist and pulled down. She jumped toward Philip and tried to jerk her arm free from the tight hold. She looked down. Ms. Delores, the local psychic, had a death grip on her wrist.

“Ms. Delores?” Valerie stepped toward her to ease the pressure on her arm.

  “You’re watching the realm, Valerie.”

Val laughed, more out of relief that it was someone she knew than because anything was funny. She’d always been wary of Ms. Delores. While many of her friends had received readings, she’d always been too scared of what the woman might say. She didn’t want to know what the future held. It was bad enough that she got fleeting images of things that ended up happening. But that was just a weird way to experience déjà vu wasn’t it?

Ms. Delores looked just like any other person on the street. She was dressed in shorts and a summer blouse, with hoop earrings and a floppy straw hat to protect her face from the sun. To look at her, you’d never know that she’d foretold many things for the people of Lighthouse Inlet with incredible accuracy. But when you stared into her eyes it felt as though she was peering into your very soul. Truth be told, she scared the hell out of Valerie with her knowing eyes and uncanny predictions. Suddenly the thought that Ms. Delores could absorb information by touching her crossed her mind.

“Please let me go, Ms. Delores. I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Valerie twisted her hand and pulled but the other woman held tight.

“Valerie said to let go,” Philip stepped closer, his eyebrows furrowed.

Ms. Delores looked up at him, then, turning her gaze back to Valerie, released her wrist and picked up a take out-cup with coffee written in big green letters on the side.

“She’s off her rocker.” Philip grabbed her walked away with her in tow.

“You saw him on the beach,” Ms. Delores called after them. “The man that blondie there couldn’t see. He’ll soon lose love unless you intervene.”

Valerie stopped and released Philip’s hand. “Can you get me some ice cream? I want to talk to Ms. Delores a minute.”

“Sure thing, babe-a-licious.” He kissed her forehead. “Don’t let that old coot feed you a bunch of crap. She’s whacked.”

“I won’t.” She smacked his butt as he turned toward the ice cream shop next door.

  P
hilip looked back and waggled his eyebrows. Valerie grinned at him and then walked back over to the kiosk.

“Are you sure she smiled at you?” Lorna stared at the blonde girl standing beside the large portable retail cart filled with metaphysical items. Tarot cards lined one shelf, new age books another. Pendulums hung from the top and ornate jewelry filled a glass topped jewelry box near where Ms. Delores sat.

“I’m sure. Her boyfriend called her Valerie.” Travis held Lorna’s hand. “If she saw me, then she must have seen you too. This is it, Lorna.” He led her closer to the kiosk. “Let’s listen to what she says to Delores.”

“Look in the window,” Lorna said. “I can see your reflection there…well, sort of… But I don’t see mine. Do you see it? It’s just like the mirror at Surfside. What’s going on?”

Travis faced the glass store front. Lorna was right, his reflection, though very faint, was there.

Valerie perused the items for sale before turning her gaze to the older woman who was busy looking into a crystal ball. “How do you know about that man?”

“I recognized him. His name is Travis but I’m not the one who can release him. It is your responsibility—you are the only one who can help him.”

  “Did you really see him?”

Ms. Delores nodded, glancing over at Travis. “I saw him for the first time when you walked up here. I’ve been waiting for twenty years, hoping to see Lorna or Travis.”

“Oh my god. Delores sees us too!” Lorna looked up at him, her eyes shimmering with happiness.

“I don’t understand.” Valerie sat on the stool in front of the older woman. “Philip couldn’t see him but you can. What does this mean? Am I psychic?” She had so many questions that needed answering. Could she trust Ms. Delores to be accurate in what she said? Several of her friends swore by her readings. “Why am I the only one who can release him? What am I supposed to release him from?”

“Can she do that?” Lorna asked. “Can she release us into the light?”

His brow was furrowed, worry etched into his features.

  “What’s wrong?”
