One Night Stand with the Rockstar (With the Rockstar #1) (rockstar romance series) Page 3

Slader opened the door and allowed his band into the room. They sat and waited for Slader to talk. This was the power of Slader. Of his music. Of his money. He stared at his band but didn’t see them. When Jerry entered the room, he didn’t see Jerry.

  His eyes were dazed.

“Jerry, take care of us for tomorrow night,” Slader said. “Right here.”

  “Again?”

“Again,” Slader said. “And the next night. And the next.”

  “Slader... we have... the owner...”

“He’s behind on his payments,” Slader said. He looked at Jerry. Jerry looked surprised. “He owes thirty grand in back taxes too. I’ll cut the check. I’ll buy the place. And we’ll play here every night.”

  “Why? Why, Slader?” Jerry asked.

Slader saw Jerry move towards him. There had been years of relationship between Alex Slader and Jerry. Enough that when Slader looked, he didn’t need to speak to make sure Jerry understood what he wanted. Jerry simply nodded.

“I just bought myself a nice venue,” Slader said and smiled.

The rest of the band looked at each other.

“What do you think of that, Bry?” Slader asked.

“I think it’s fucking awesome,” Bry said. “I bet we can make each show better than the night before.”

“That’s the answer I love to hear,” Slader whispered. “Now... let’s get crazy.”

Slader took a deep breath and rolled his neck, feeling really good. He led the band from the dressing room to another room. A bigger room. A room filled with everything any rockstar could dream of. Every kind of booze. Cold beer. Drugs. And women. A lot of women. Women already naked, ready for the taking. Ready for the fantasy with a rockstar to come true. And women who were dressed. Those who would tease their way into a position they could only dream of.

A topless woman walked up to Slader, her long body stunning. Her large breasts were perfectly shaped, her nipples erect. They were dark pink, delicious looking. It made Slader’s fingers wiggle.

  The things he could do...

“I’ve been waiting for you,” the woman whispered. “I can be your pain tonight.”

“I’m sure you can,” Slader said. “But I’m already in pain.”

  “Then I’ll be the cure.”

“Can I call you Maria?” Slader asked.

  “Whatever you want.”

  “Can I call you Jessica?”

“Why don’t you let me do something to you that will make it so you can’t say either name... or anything at all...”

  The woman smiled.

Slader felt his lip curl. He made fists and nodded. He looked to his jeans and saw the handcuffs there. They were meant for someone else but they could come in use now. Slader led the woman to the back of the room, in the corner. A dark corner. As Slader pressed himself against the topless woman, he took the handcuffs off his pants.

“Hands behind your back,” Slader whispered.

The woman complied. She had no choice. She was signed to be there to do anything commanded. Anything.

The word anything made Slader think of Jessica.

  He grew angry.

He slipped the handcuffs over the woman’s wrists and handcuffed to a large equipment case. There was no way the woman would be able to move.

Slader took a step back and nodded.

“Like what you see?” the woman asked.

“I do now.” He stepped towards her and placed his lips to her lips. He tasted vodka and lipstick. A rockstar’s after party calling. She opened her mouth and Slader pulled away. “Now you’ll know what it’s like to want something and watch it walk away.”

I’ll spend my life, for you.

I’ll take my life, with you.

I’ll share my life, as none.

  .5.

Carrie sat on the corner of her bed. Her body was warm even though the room was cool. She was naked, her heart racing. She looked to her heavy breasts, her thick nipples, and she quietly looked around the room, making sure she was alone, and she gently gripped her chest. She held her breasts in her hands and squeezed. Her thumbs grazed her nipples, causing a flood between her legs.

  “Fuck,” she whispered.

Her eyes looked to the clock. She still had three hours until John went home.

  That was the deal.

She squeezed again and gently moaned.

  “Yes,” she whispered.

The feelings inside her were really mellow and really good. She needed a third hand right then, one between her legs. One to ease her into a satisfying orgasm. To get the rest of the pleasure out. The needs that John couldn’t satisfy. The needs he left.

Carrie used her right hand and stretched her fingers, pinching both her nipples. It was hard to do, but it worked. Her left hand crept down her body. She opened her legs, ready to touch herself. She could do this quick. All she needed was a minute - maybe less - right at her clit.

  “Fuck,” she whispered again.

  “Fuck,” a voice said.

Carrie’s hands opened and she froze.

“Fuck,” John repeated. “What are you doing, Carrie?”

  “Nothing,” Carrie lied.

  Lying was no good.

  Lying was trouble.

Lying was a breach of contract.

“Are you touching yourself?” John asked. “We just fucked... did I not...”

“John,” Carrie whispered. “Please. I kept to what you wanted. Didn’t I?”

John had his pants on and nothing else. He stood next to Carrie. She looked up at his endless skinny body and into his eyes. His blue eyes. They were nothing but a disguise of innocence. John was calculating and very smart. With John, Carrie was able to experience the world in a way she never thought possible. But it all had to remain secret. That was part of the contract too.

  Literally.

“What were you doing then?” John asked.

“Sitting here, thinking,” Carrie said. “Something came over me. So...”

“You’re still horny,” John said. “What have I created here?”

  John smiled.

  Carrie’s cheeks burned red.

She felt sexy. Being near someone like John, who did have a lot of pull and power, and being able to catch him off guard made her feel really good about herself.

“We have a real estate deal my company wants,” John whispered. “It’s for a block of condos ten miles from here.”

Carrie took a breath. She looked down at her naked body. Her body that was still lingering to be touched. To be had. To be enjoyed.

  “You need me?” Carrie asked.

“Well, when you say it like that... you make it sound like I really need you,” John said.

He walked to the door and grabbed a dark pink robe from the back of it. He threw it to Carrie. She stood and put the robe on. The soft cloth normally felt comfortable, especially on a cool fall morning or a cold winter night. But the soft cloth only did harm right then. The cloth touched Carrie’s sensitive nipples. The warmth of the robe hugged her, reminding her how turned on she still was. She kept a straight face - part of her job - and she watched as John grabbed his briefcase and opened it. In the first slot of his briefcase was where he kept it... always handy... always ready to show Carrie what she had signed.

John placed the contract on the bed. He patted it.

“It’s been almost a year, Carrie,” John said.

  “I know. I remember.”

Carrie remembered the night she was in John’s killer expensive apartment. She had just lost her job and was desperate for anything that ‘normal’ and would keep John happy. He had proposed the contract to her, explaining the details of his sexual needs. When he wanted her. How he wanted her. Outside the bedroom, Carrie aided John in getting the necessary deals for his company. By any means necessary.

That’s what Carrie did for a living, a complete secret to everyone, even Jessica. As far as Jessica knew, Carrie took some college classes, wrote a book
or two, and lived off a generous inheritance from a great aunt that was long dead but in reality never existed.

John licked his fingers and began to flip through the contract. He stopped at a page and read it, nodding.

  “What’s wrong?” Carrie asked.

“Well, right here, it clearly states that you must come when I come,” John said. “It’s the contract. The punishment...”

  Carrie swallowed.

  The punishment.

Sometimes it was handcuffs. Sometimes it was rope. Sometimes it was chains. Sometimes John would disappear for a day or two and send Carrie pictures of him with other women. Women, according to him, who would abide by the same contract but without the same benefits. Those benefits for Carrie included being paid for her work within the contract (when it pertained to John’s company), being allowed time away from John without question, and even a set amount of times when Carrie could command their sexual encounters.

“And of course,” John said, “if I’m correct...” John flipped more pages in the contract. “Ah, here it is. You still have a few times to use, if you need me to help you over there...”

  John smiled.

Carrie thought about it. There was no way her body was going to calm down. She would need John tonight. Really bad. But she would need it in silence. Poor Jessica had been in her room for almost twenty-four hours. Ever since Carrie came home with John last night, Jessica had been in her room, thinking, not acting like herself at all. Of course, Carrie and John weren’t at the movies... they were researching for another project. One of the biggest projects John needed Carrie for, if not the biggest. What everything in the contract had really been leading up to.

“The developer for the condos,” John said, bringing the conversation back to topic, “is a real asshole. Something about the land makes him feel like he owns the world. We rejected him for financing, thinking it would break him a little... this guy has a brother-in-law who’s a banker. That was my error, a research error I guess. But this needs to be fixed. Tomorrow night, Carrie, I want this fixed.”

Carrie thought about what to do. The way her mind could turn wicked so fast surprised her, but it made her feel alive. It gave her a purpose. She hoped to someday share her secrets with Jessica. It would make a hell of a story, one that Carrie would love to share, but she’d have to remain quiet about it. That, of course, would have to come once the contract expired. There was set of rules throughout the contract, explaining that Carrie was not allowed to speak to anyone about the contract or her job. The confidentiality was the most important part of the contract, and perhaps it came with the greatest punishment - John’s choice.

“There’s nothing to worry about,” Carrie said. “I have an idea.”

“That’s why you’re the best for this stuff,” John said.

He grabbed the contract and threw it into his briefcase. He slammed it shut.

“Listen,” he said, “I’m going to leave early. Since we’re partially breaching on our own here...”

“That’s okay,” Carrie said. “I need to talk to Jessica. I need to check on her. I’m worried.”

“Good for you. Now, what do you want from me?”

John pushed his pants down, revealing his thickness. He was halfway hard again.

  That’s exactly what Carrie needed.

“We have to be quiet,” Carrie said. “I don’t want to bother her anymore.”

“Whatever. Let’s just finish this up.”

Carrie never thought her sex life would come down to paperwork versus orgasms but it worked. John had an amazing body when it came to sex. But for Carrie, when she was able to focus on herself, that’s when it was really amazing.

She stood at the foot of the bed and bent over. She lifted the robe, leaving it on, and exposed her wetness. There would be no need for anything, except to fuck her. John stepped up behind Carrie and entered her. His hands were on her ass as he thrust at her.

Carrie bit her lip and felt the rush of pleasure come back to her. Everything she had been waiting for all night. Using her right hand, she held herself up on the bed. With her left hand she reached between her legs. She touched John’s shaft as he slid in and out of her. That made everything feel better. When she touched her clit, she jumped and moaned.

“I thought we were being quiet,” John said as he thrust forward hard.

The crash of his body to hers was painful but Carrie went with it.

She began to rub her clit, just the way she needed.

And John continued to thrust at her, even as she came.

This was the part of the contract Carrie enjoyed... it was the last page of the contract, her biggest task, that worried her the most though.

Look at her eyes! Look into her soul! Look beyond the pain! Look... just look... you’ll see, I know you will.

  .6.

Jessica had been listening to Ashes in Vain straight through for over twenty-four hours. Even during her trips to the bathroom, to get a drink, or to get a quick bite to eat, she still listened to the music. She couldn’t get enough of it. She couldn’t stop picturing Slader. The way he looked at her. The way he came at her.

Her boss, Mr. Plink, had called her three times already. She only listened to one of the voicemails. The excitement in his voice was obvious. He knew she had been backstage. But Jessica didn’t have a story for Mr. Plink. Not unless she tried to force a story that would be riddled with cliches about a demented rockstar hell bent on controlling the world. There was more to Slader than that... and it left Jessica wondering what she would do to find out how much more there was.

Jessica heard the sound of John leaving and smiled. For a guy that complained about Jessica’s music being too loud, he certainly didn’t care if Jessica heard him grunting while he had sex with Carrie. The grunts weren’t even sexy. They sounded more like John was trying to go to the bathroom than fuck Jessica’s roommate.

A minute or so later, Carrie knocked on the door.

  That little, innocent knock.

  “Come in,” Jessica called out.

Carrie opened the door, wearing something quickly thrown on. Jessica shook her head. It was like Carrie wanted to hide herself. Jessica didn’t care if Carrie enjoyed sex. That was okay. That was important in life. But what about self hate? Self regret? Confusion? Because that’s all that went through Jessica’s mind.

“Are you okay?” Carrie asked. “You’ve been in here for a long time.”

“I should ask you the same,” Jessica said and sat up.

  “Why’s that?”

“Well, you and John were really into it.”

Carrie blushed and looked down. “Sorry.”

“No need. Hey, did you know your lip is bleeding?”

Carrie touched her lip and gasped. “Oh... sorry...”

“Why are you sorry? If it’s that good, good for you,” Jessica said. “I wish...”

Jessica couldn’t finish her sentence. She had her chance at that, didn’t she? She could have let Slader touch her anywhere he wanted. He wanted to fuck her and Jessica walked away.

“What happened with your interview?” Carrie asked.

  “Nothing,” Jessica said.

  “He wouldn’t talk?”

“He didn’t want to talk,” Jessica said. “He wanted something else.”

  Carrie’s eyes lit up. “Whoa.”

“Yeah. I was caught off guard. He’s... he’s amazing, Carrie. He’s captivating. He’s commanding. He makes me nervous and turned on at the same time. It was a set of feelings I never felt before.”

Carrie walked to the bed and sat next to Jessica. “I’m sorry it didn’t work out.”

“You know, he said he was going to keep playing there until I showed up. There was something about the way he looked at me, Carrie. Something that was so intense, it almost scared me. He looked at me like he knew me. He looked at me as if he knew that I would give it all up to him. For him.”

  “Why didn’t you?” Carrie asked.

&n
bsp; “Could I just do that?” Jessica asked. “What about my job?”

“What about it? You could get a night with Alex Slader and get a story that would pay you. That’s kind of win-win, isn’t it?”

“Just one night with Alex Slader?” Jessica asked. “I don’t know if that’s possible.”

  “Says who? He’s a rockstar.”

Jessica opened her mouth and thought about it. Slader was a rockstar. Would he want more than just one night? The way he acted towards Jessica, he acted like he wanted to snatch her up and steal her.

  Maybe for one night.

“He’s just so intense,” Jessica said. “It’s like nothing else matters when you’re there. Time. Life. Purpose. I didn’t even take out my tape recorder. I didn’t take out a notebook. A pencil. A pen. I didn’t have a single fucking thought. I just stared at him. Wanting him. Desperate for him. Maybe he sensed it. He came towards me...”

“You’re in awe over a rockstar,” Carrie said. “That’s kind of cute.”

“It’s not cute,” Jessica said. “You wouldn’t say cute if you ever met him.”

Carrie looked away and nodded. She looked concerned and maybe hurt.

“Sorry,” Jessica said. “I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.”

“It’s fine,” Carrie said. “I just wanted to check on you. To try and pry you out of this room.”

“I sort of regret it now,” Jessica said. “I was with the lead singer of Ashes in Vain. And I have nothing to show for it. My mind wants to think of what could have been but I have to become the assistant now and act like I care about business... when I care about music. About Ashes in vain. About Slader! I care about him, Carrie, and I don’t know why.”
