When they awoke, I told them of the news and they expressed their delight that I was feeling that way. We shared our kisses and hugged, enjoying secret smiles as we remembered what we had done the previous night and anticipated what we were going to do in future nights. The possibilities were endless and I knew they could offer me experiences I would never have enjoyed with anyone else, and it couldn’t come quickly enough.
But, that wasn’t all I could think about. There was still plenty of things we needed to do to get the place ready, but there was also something I had to do first, and that was to say goodbye to Misty. Finn and Cal expressed concern for this until I reassured them that I wasn’t going to reveal their secret, even though I was sure Misty could keep it. Cal agreed to take me back into the city to say goodbye. I told Misty to meet me near the forest so that Cal could fly me there, and then he hid in the woods, away from us. I went to a small copse and waited for Misty, who arrived on time.
“Did you find him?!” she asked.
“I did, and everything’s fine, but there’s actually some big news,” I said, and told her all about my future plans and how I was going to enter into a relationship with the two men. I didn’t need to worry about telling Misty that truth because she was more open-minded than anyone else. She playfully hit me on the arm and seemed impressed that I was finally indulging my inner desires.
We promised to see each other again and to keep in touch. I hoped one day that I could tell her the truth about the dragons, but that wasn’t going to be today. We hugged tightly and wished each other the best. Saying goodbye to Misty reminded me of everything I was turning my back on, but I didn’t have any doubt in my heart. I knew that living with Finn and Cal was what I wanted, so I said my goodbyes and then returned to Cal, who was waiting for me in his human form.
“It’s funny to think that this all began because I thought Misty was in danger. If she hadn’t sent me that message, I never would have come looking for her, and I never would have met you,” I said.
Cal stood there with his arms folded across his chest and wore a cocky smirk.
“I guess we’re both lucky that Misty made that mistake.”
“Did you ever think this was going to happen when we kissed that night?”
“No. I didn’t, but for a long time, I’ve hoped that something like this is going to happen. Now we just need to get the dragons back and everything will be as it should be.”
He shifted in front of my eyes. I didn’t think I’d ever get used to the transformation, or ever see it as something mundane. I climbed on his back and he took me back to the village.
For the better part of a week Cal, Finn, and I made the effort to make the village a good place to live. We cleared out the old buildings and herded animals to breed again. The men went hunting while I explored the area and made a store of water. It was a domestic life, and the nights sizzled with erotic energy. I did start to wonder though when, or if, Zerinthor would return. This village seemed to be a waste if only the three of us were living there, and I hated the thought that Cal and Finn wouldn’t have their dream of a thriving dragon community again. They tried to be aloof and said that Zerinthor would just take his time, but I knew them well by now and I could tell they were disappointed. Frequently, I caught them staring at the sky, looking for any sign of approaching dragons. I soon found myself staring as well.
Then, one day, we saw what seemed like a dark cloud on the horizon. It was deep in the night and all we saw was that the stars were blotted out by a dark mass. Then, all became clear. As they came closer, I saw dozens of dragons make their way home! I smiled. Cal and Finn hugged each other and celebrated joyously. The dragons came closer; they were all colors of the spectrum and each was more beautiful than the last. They shifted into men and women and it was a joyous reunion. I was happy for Cal and Finn, and even Zerinthor seemed in better spirits, but I was most happy for myself because I knew I had found where I belonged.

What If Dragons Were Real?
And they roamed the Earth in the form of two breathtakingly hot guys. You’d think I was crazy but I’ll tell you what, I’ve slept with them and they are 100% real – every last inch of them.
There’s only one problem.
They’re dangerous – the kind of men who are known to claim women and yearn for them to birth their children. Now, logically, knowing this, I should run far, far away.
But try running away from a couple of guys who just rocked your world into next week. It’s not that easy especially when you find yourself carrying their baby.
So, I’m left with a choice: to live among the dragons and take my chances or to rely on my cheating ex-boyfriend and his desire for revenge.
But is it really a choice at all? Tell me, what would you do if you knew dragons were real?
