  Jeremy gave Bevy a small salute back. “My pleasure.”

  “I’m sure.” She smirked at Jeremy. “Leave the door open, please.”

  Bevy picked up the phone and asked Michael to find Carol and bring her to the office.

  ~~~~~
  Bevy and Bill had planned to have dinner alone that evening, but before she met him in the restaurant, she visited Madison at her apartment. Madison was in her pajamas when she answered the door.
  “I thought you were meeting Bill for dinner.” Madison walked back into her living room and resumed her curled up position on the couch.
  “I am but not for another half hour. Are you not feeling well?” Bevy sat next to her.
  “I’m just tired. I’m leaving early tomorrow morning for a trip to Seattle, and I won't be back for two weeks. I have a new client I need to meet, and then I’m going to visit my college roommate.”
  “A change of scenery is always good.” There was a bottle of wine opened on the counter. Bevy stood, retrieved a glass from the cabinet and poured herself a drink.
  “Yeah, I need a break. I feel out of sorts, lately.”
  “You always get that way after the Gala. I think the intensity of the anxiety you feel right before it and during it exhausts you. Next year you should stay home.”
  “If I don’t at least attempt to show up to those kinds of functions I could spiral down and become a total recluse in my personal life.”
  “Your professional life keeps you in the spotlight enough.”
  “It’s different. I play a part. I never show my true self in those situations.”
  Bevy finished her wine. “We’ll have dinner the Friday night you come back?”
  “Yes, and book me that night.”
  “With whom?” Bevy asked as she brought her empty glass over to the sink.
  “Surprise me.”
  “How many?”
  “The usual.”
  “You got it.” Bevy leaned down, and air kissed Madison on both cheeks. “I’ll miss you.”
  “I’ll miss you, too.” Madison’s cell phone rang. She looked down at the screen and recognized the number immediately. “I need to take this it’s my new client.”
  Bevy padded towards the door as Madison picked up the phone. Just as she was about to leave she remembered she forgot to tell Madison about Carol. She turned around and waved her hand in the air to get Madison’s attention. When Madison looked over, Bevy mouthed Carol’s name and then sliced across her neck with her hand.
  Madison asked her client to hold for a minute. “What about Jeremy?” She whispered.
  “He reported her before I could question him. It seems Carol forced herself on him and he carefully had to pry her away to avoid any damage. I’m sure you get the picture.”
  Madison cringed at that visual, “So Jeremy didn’t entertain her advances.”
  “Not in the least.”
  “Thanks Bevy. I’ll see you in a couple weeks.”
  Madison got back on the phone and apologized to her client for making him wait as Bevy closed the door on her way out.
  After a forty-minute conversation with her client, Madison slipped into bed and stared up at the ceiling. Guilt shadowed her thoughts of Jeremy. He’d been nothing but kind to her and she’d been an absolute bitch. Madison needed this time away to clear her head and she hoped by the time she returned she could approach her relationship with Jeremy in a more healthy way.
  ~~~~~

  A week went by and no sign of Madison. Jeremy hadn’t run into Bevy alone, so it was impossible to ask her where Madison was hiding. When she didn’t show up on Sunday, Jeremy sneaked over to her apartment and knocked on the back door of her bedroom, but she never answered.

  Though he had her cell phone number, there was no way he could contact her. He hated feeling so out of control. The only way he could find out about Madison was if he ran into Bevy and asked, but even that would be odd. He couldn’t just blurt out, “Hi Bevy, where’s Madison?” He had to act casual about it, or his only other choice was to wait for her to return. He missed her, and he was frustrated, so he worked out hard, paced his room, or devoted his attentions towards the women he had sex with. Neither option abated his frustration, so he was left waiting.

  Two weeks later, Bevy sat in the restaurant alone. Jeremy watched at the bar wondering if Bevy waited for Madison. When the waiter brought Bevy’s dinner out, Jeremy knew Madison was not showing. He stood from the bar with his drink in hand and made his way over to Bevy.

  “May I join you for a minute?”

  “Of course, I hate eating alone. Order something, eat with me.”

  Jeremy flagged down the waiter. “I’ll have whatever you can bring to me in the next few minutes, so the lady doesn’t eat alone.” The waiter hurried back to the kitchen with Jeremy’s request.

  Bevy placed her fork and knife down and picked up her glass of wine. “Jeremy, do you know the right thing to do and say in every situation?”

  “I say what comes naturally.” Jeremy lifted his glass to his mouth.

  Bevy clicked her tongue. “If Bill didn’t exist, I’d want you all to myself.”

  “Where is Bill tonight?” Jeremy asked hoping his question will extract the answer he’s looking to hear.

  “Bill’s working and Madison is away on a business slash vacation in Seattle. So I find myself all alone.”

  “Seattle is nice.” Jeremy knew where she was; now, he had to find out when she was coming back.

  “Yes, I’ve only been once. Madison was supposed to be back tonight, but her plans have changed, and now she won’t be back until next Saturday.”

  Jeremy exhaled as the waiter placed a dish of white fish and vegetables in front of him. Madison would be back in a week. Three weeks without Madison was torture but at least he knew there was an end to the torture. All he had to do was get through one more week. Knowing this Jeremy relaxed into his meal and focused on enjoying Bevy’s company while hoping the next seven days would fly by.

  CHAPTER 13

  Jeremy sat in his room staring at the paper he held in his hand. When he received his schedule this evening, he thought it was a mistake until he heard the knock on the door.

  He opened the door. Dante and Pete stood in the hallway. “I’ll meet you at the restaurant in fifteen minutes.”

  “Okay, we’ll have a drink while we’re waiting for you. Take your time. Madison is having dinner with Bevy and Bill.”

  He couldn’t believe she had the audacity to invite him to her room with two other guys. What kind of stunt was she pulling? Was this her way of reminding him that this was just sex and she was the boss?

  He hadn’t seen Madison in three weeks, and the last time they were together he thought their relationship took a positive turn. She knew watching other men touch her repulsed him. Why would she choose this tonight? Especially, since it was her first night back.

  Jeremy got his head together and stormed out of his room in the direction of the restaurant. As he walked in, he glanced over at her table, but it was empty. He looked around, but Madison must have left already. Dante and Pete waited at the bar for him.

  Mason walked over to where they sat when Jeremy joined them. “Jeremy, do you have time for a drink?”

  Jeremy looked at the guys. “No man. We need to go.” Dante informed him.

  “Okay, but give me a minute, I just need a word with you.” Mason placed his hands on the bar and leaned in as he spoke to Jeremy.

  “Sure, no problem. Guys wait for me outside.”

  When Dante and Pete walked away, Mason told Jeremy to take a seat. “Dude, I just want to remind you to keep your cool tonight. The guys told me you’re with them in Madison’s room and I don’t want you to do anything stupid.”

  “I know. I was in my room giving myself this exact pep talk.” Jeremy pointed to the bottle behind the bar. “Give me a shot.”

  Mason placed a shot glass in front of Jeremy and filled it with Jack Daniels. “Jeremy, s
he looks fucking sexy. I mean she always looks good, but she was glowing when she walked in here. I hate to say it, but she reminded me of a woman in love.”

  “What are you saying? You think she met someone while she was in Seattle?”

  “No, I’m not saying that at all. You’ll know what I mean when you see her.”

  Jeremy tapped on his shot glass. Mason filled it, again, and Jeremy threw back the golden liquid and enjoyed the burn as it went down. He pushed himself away from the bar and met the guys out in the hallway. “Let’s go.”

  Jeremy followed behind Pete and Dante as they made their way towards Madison’s sex room. Dante rapped on the door then the three of them entered. Madison was not in the main room when they walked in. Jeremy stood back as Pete knocked on the bathroom door. There was no answer, so Pete slowly opened it and stepped in leaving Dante and Jeremy behind.

  “She’s not in there,” Pete said as he walked out.

  “Maybe she got held up talking with Bevy,” Dante suggested as he flopped down on the bed.

  Jeremy sat in the chair and rested his ankle over his knee.

  Just as Pete suggested they leave, Madison walked in apologizing, “Sorry, guys, Bevy planned this night for me, I had no idea…” Madison stopped speaking when she spotted Jeremy.

  Mason was correct, one look at Madison, and one would think she was a woman in love. Jeremy took in a labored breath. He wanted to storm out, but he also didn’t want to leave her. He missed her, and he wanted to tell her how much he missed her. “You had no idea what?” Jeremy asked.

  Madison swallowed. “I had no idea she booked me or with whom she booked.”

  Jeremy stood. “Would you like us to leave?” He asked hoping she’d say yes.

  “Nah, we’re here, and you booked us for the night. We should stay.” Dante suggested.

  Madison’s shoulders sank as the thought weighed heavy on her. She looked at Dante and Pete. She wanted them to leave and so she could be alone with Jeremy, but she could never admit that in front of them. “I don’t know.” She looked at Jeremy.

  “We’ll leave.” Jeremy started walking towards the door.

  “No, Madison, we’ll have a good time. It’s been awhile; you’ll enjoy it.” Pete grabbed her hand and directed her over to the bed. He pulled off her top and unbuttoned her pants. Dante joined them and grabbed the hem of her pants at her ankles and pulled her pants off of her. Pete kissed her neck as Dante rubbed her thighs slowly making his way to her panties.

  Jeremy stood back feeling as if he watched Pete and Dante raping his woman. They weren't rough, but this wasn’t what she wanted, and she wasn’t speaking up for herself. The guys were going about it as if it was business as usual not recognizing that Madison wasn’t into it.

  His blood boiled as Pete slipped off her bra and grabbed her tit bringing it to his mouth. Madison stared at Jeremy, and he saw tears pool in her eyes. Rage took over, and he grabbed Pete’s shoulder and dragged him off of Madison. “Get the fuck off her.”

  Pete landed on the floor but quickly got to his feet. “Dude, what the hell are you doing?”

  Jeremy palmed the top of Dante’s head and shoved him back.

  “Leave us,” Jeremy yelled at Pete and Dante. They stood there unmoving looking at Jeremy like he lost his mind. “Go! Get the fuck out, now!”

  Jeremy covered Madison’s naked body with his while he waited for them to leave.

  “Dude, she wants us here. You’re going to get yourself thrown out of here.” Dante yelled back.

  Pete hit Dante’s arm. “Let’s get out of here. I want no part of this.”

  Madison stared at Jeremy as he waited for the guys to leave and when the door finally shut Jeremy gazed at Madison. “Sweetheart, are you okay?”

  Tears fell from her eyes and Jeremy wiped them with his thumbs. He kissed her dampened cheeks. “I missed you so much.”

  Madison, yet to respond as she cried. “My love, I’m here. They’re gone. It’s just us.”

  Madison sniffled as she nodded her head. Jeremy looked around the room. There was no fucking way he was going to make love to Madison in this sex room. He lifted her from the bed. Madison curled her head into his chest and let the warmth of his body comfort her.

  Jeremy carried Madison’s naked body down the hall and around the corner until he reached the door to her real world. He grabbed the knob and kicked open the door with his foot. He stalked over to the bed and gently placed her body down. Jeremy stripped off his clothes and covered Madison with his naked body. He grabbed her arms and pinned them above her head as he pushed his erection into her hip.

  Their eyes met.

  “Madison, I love you and I need you to not fight me tonight.”

  Jeremy released her arms, gripped her chin and tilted her head back as Madison lowered her arms onto his back. “Do you understand?”

  Madison shook her head as she pushed her hips into Jeremy’s erection. Jeremy saw the need in Madison’s eyes as he crashed his lips to hers. Their breathing grew harsh as they shoved their tongues in and out of each other’s mouth. They moved their lips along each other’s skin licking, sucking, and biting while their warm breath trailed behind.

  Madison grabbed onto him pulling him closer. She needed him closer; she needed to feel one with him. He glided his hand down the length of her body pressing his fingertips into her skin and dragging them back up. Madison let her thighs drop open under his weight as she tilted her hips attempting to move his erection between her legs.

  Jeremy grabbed onto her flesh as his mouth found her tight nipple. He sucked and nibbled, and Madison released a soft moan as she arched her upper body back pressing her breasts into his chest. Jeremy slid his hand over her belly and down between her legs. He slipped his fingers inside her and pumped. Using his thumb, he circled her clit drawing from her a soft moan.

  Jeremy trailed kisses down the front of her body and stopped on her hip. He sucked hard taking her skin in between his lips. Jeremy released it with a pop leaving a red mark. He kissed the spot then did the same above her pussy.

  He slipped his fingers out and covered her wet folds with his tongue. He brushed his tongue along her entire seam then sucked and licked her lips until he found her clit. He licked and sucked her clit like he kissed her mouth. Moving over the area with force and gentleness when needed.

  A warm sensation blanketed her skin. Madison rolled her head back and forth on the pillow as her orgasm began its ascent. She knew words left her lips, but she could make no sense of them. She raked her fingers through his hair as she begged him for more. Her toes curled, and her thighs tightened up as her orgasm coveted her body. It soared deep inside her and crashed down between her legs leaving her wasted and sated.

  Jeremy crawled up her body until his lips found her ear. “Madison, I love you. I missed you. I don’t want you leaving me like that again.” He whispered right before he shoved his cock deep inside her. Madison screamed out in pain followed by pleasure. Jeremy rocked his hips as he gripped onto the bed.

  He didn’t take his eyes off Madison. He watched as she took his brutal force with such pleasure. She grabbed onto his hips with her hands and wrapped her legs tighter around him.

  He buried himself inside of her until he felt Madison’s body clench down on him. “Sweetheart, come for me.”

  Madison purred her response, and then her body took over. She milked his cock and cried out. “Jeremy, I love you, and I need you, and I missed you.”

  Jeremy kissed her mouth. “I know, my love, I know.”

  Tears fell from her eyes as she nodded. Madison knew all along that she loved Jeremy and Madison was sure Jeremy knew it too. She hurt him time after time, and he took the punches while waiting for her to acknowledge her true feelings.

  Jeremy kissed her tear then whispered in her ear. “Sweetheart, it’s my turn.”

  Madison braced herself for what she knew was coming. Jeremy quickened his pace pushing himself deeper inside of her with each thrust. Th
e pounding was sheer bliss for Madison. She loved Jeremy, her body was for him alone, and she trusted him to take care of it. Then with one last deep thrust, he exploded inside her as he roared out her name.

  He pinned her down with his weight causing her body to sink deeper into the mattress. Their heartbeats pounded together as their breathing searched for steadiness. Once their breaths slowed, Jeremy slid off Madison’s body and pulled her into him. He brushed the hair off her face, wrapped his arm around her waist and tucked his hand under the side of her. Madison scooted her behind back into his hips, rested her hand on his arm, and slipped into sleep.

  Jeremy listened as her breathing slowed; he kissed the top her head and dozed off into a light sleep.

  The next morning Madison woke up alone searching her room for signs of him. Jeremy must have slipped out while she slept. She doesn’t remember anything after they made love, but she woke up knowing her life was about to change.

  Chapter 14

  Jeremy got back to his room about four in the morning. He wanted to stay with Madison, but he knew she’d need time and space to absorb what happened between them.

  Being an employee at RAW made pursuing any relationship with Madison difficult. But one thing he was sure of… After last night he and Madison could not go back to the way things were.

  He couldn’t afford to leave just yet. He wanted to bank some more money before he left RAW and as long as Madison felt comfortable with him working there, he would stay; Though sex with other men was no longer an option for Madison. Jeremy couldn’t handle it, and of course, as long as Jeremy continued to work there, they’d have to keep their relationship quiet.

  Jeremy finally fell asleep, but even as he slept thoughts of Madison and last night saturated his dreams. A loud pounding on the door woke him. Jeremy looked over at the clock. He stretched out and jumped out of bed.

  He threw on a pair of basketball shorts and answered the door. “Hey Michael, what’s going on?”

  Michael pushed passed him. “What the hell did you do last night?”

  “What do you mean?”
