“Hmmph.” As though Piers hadn’t expected to make a sound, he frowned then shoved a piece of bacon in his mouth, chewing slowly. His gaze remained on his meal.
“I think I’ll take a swim after breakfast. When do your classes begin? I’ll be dressed and ready.”
This time, he narrowed his eyes and stood up so fast his chair hit the floor. Without missing a beat, he left the room. Tara’s laughter followed him.

Deciding it was time to explore Mateo’s house, Tara started in the living room. There were a number of paintings on the walls that shocked her. They each displayed couples in different sexual poses.
“They’re based on the Kama Sutra.”
“Piers, you startled me. I was admiring the artwork, but I’m not so sure that people could do some of those poses.”
“Sorry. The carpet muffles footsteps well. Mateo has a friend in Maui who does the paintings for him, and yes, all of the poses are doable.”
“These ones have ménages. The woman has three men to herself.”
“Lucky girl. The man on the bottom doesn’t have to do a lot of work because the one behind her shifts and moves them. Vaginal, anal, and fellatio methods all rolled into one act.”
“Let me get this straight. One man enters her pussy, one her ass, and she gives the other one a blow job? That seems like a difficult act.”
“Tara, the secret is to have all three men moving as one. The one in back supports the woman, and the one on his back gives attention to her breasts and clitoris, while she works the third, using the motion of the other two. It can be done.”
“I’d like to try that! It looks decadent.”
“Yes, it is.”
“Have you done it, Piers?”
“I don’t kiss and tell, but yes, I have. It’s quite captivating.”
“This other picture has them doing it doggy style while she performs oral sex on the second man. I would imagine she doesn’t have to do a lot of the work.”
Piers smiled. “She works, all right.”
“Are you saying that you’ve done that one, too?”
“Mateo and I have done every one of the positions.”
“Wow! You have a ton of experience. How many women have you had?”
“That’s not important. What is important is the act itself. Study the pictures down the hallway and in each of the bedrooms. You’ll find that there are a number of interesting ways to enjoy yourself.”
“Geez, where do you find the time?”
His husky laughter caused her pussy to contract, sending heat through her veins.
“I’d like to try them all,” she said, grinning.
“It can be arranged. We don’t have two other partners though.”
“I’ll see if I can track one or two down before I go home.”
Interest showed in Piers’s eyes for a moment as though he’d considered it with her as well. She didn’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but for some reason, she wanted only him.
“I guess I should practice, a lot.” She looked up at him. “Any takers?”
“I have to go out for a while. Practice all you want.” Suddenly, Piers was cold and unfeeling. He turned and left the room, heading back to the office.
Satisfied that she’d gotten to him, she gave a long, slow whistle. He didn’t turn around to acknowledge it. Tara snickered. Careful, Dr. Piers, you won’t be able to ignore me for long.
She headed for her room to change into a bikini then went swimming at the beach, hoping to find a few candidates.

“Where are you going for your honeymoon? After all, you already live in paradise,” Tara asked Rae.
Rae’s grey−green eyes sparkled with love. “The resort is filled with women who want to tighten their bodies and learn how to make the most of their sex lives by working with ‘Dr. Piers,’ as they call him. I’m not sharing my new husband with anyone.” Rae’s beautiful smile brightened the room, it was so wide.
Rae wore a silky white sarong that fit snug to her body, giving her an hourglass shape. A fragrant plumeria flower comb held her hair back on one side beside her ear, which accented her mahogany, shoulder-length hair. She needed no further adornment to make her beautiful.
Tara knew that Mateo would have to fight off her admirers when in public. Since Rae now shared ownership of the resort with both Mateo and Piers, Tara wondered if the delicious Dr. Piers could endure seeing her again.
With a faraway look in her eyes, Rae answered, “Mateo has a small hut far up in the hills. We’ll be by ourselves, but he has a few servants to take care of the cooking and such. I can’t wait to be alone with him.”
“Honey, he might not survive the day when he sees you like that. You’re absolutely stunning.”
Rae laughed, her eyes filled with delight.
“Tara, you are too much. I saw you and Piers talking last night. I doubt he’ll be able to keep you at arm’s length for long.”
Letting out a snicker, Tara told her about breakfast and the chat about the paintings.
“Like I said, he hasn’t got a chance against your wiles, girlfriend. I hope he can survive it. I say you have him in bed within the week.” The room filled with their laughter.
Still, after all the years Tara had known Rae, she couldn’t get over the transformation of her friend. Ever since Rae had become trapped on the island due to the theft of her belongings at the airport, she’d changed for the better.
“You know, Rae, the day you met Mateo was the best day of your life. Now you’re rid of that lousy bastard of an ex-husband, and thanks to Mateo, you’ve blossomed into a whole new woman. I’m proud of you.”
Hugging her friend, Tara saw tears in Rae’s eyes.
“I can’t even explain how relieved I am that Lance is in jail. He deserves it. I’ve never felt so cherished before.”
“Yeah, Lance sure did a number on you when you were married. After getting that child of a woman pregnant, he dared to try and rope you into giving him money. What a loser!”
“Tara, let’s talk about something else. I want to put the past behind me. What I ever saw in him, I’m not sure. I must have been crazy!”
“All right, my friend. Now where is your husband?”
Leaning against the doorjamb, Mateo spoke up. “I’m patiently waiting for my wife to finish her packing. Are you ready, darling?”
Tara snorted her laughter then hugged Rae. “Go on, you two. I have a certain doctor to work on. By the time you get back, he’ll be his old self again.”
Mateo lifted an eyebrow in question. Rae slipped her arm around his waist and stared up at him.
“Tara has decided to seduce our friend. It will do Piers good to have another woman in his life.”
His arm tightened around Rae’s waist. “He’d better get over you. I’m not sharing anymore. Tara, you know about the three of us, don’t you?”
With a sassy smile on her lips, Tara nodded. “I wouldn’t mind trying that myself--with another man, of course. Mateo’s all yours.”
He winked then swept his wife off her feet, kissing her passionately.
“Hey, save it for the honeymoon. Now get going so I can get started on my mission.”
Amid the laughter, Mateo carried his wife all the way to the waiting car. Tara handed him Rae’s suitcase.
“Bye! Don’t come home for two weeks and then you can act all surprised when I snag him.”
Waving them off as Mateo started the car, Tara met Rae’s teary eyes and blew a kiss. “Now the work begins,” she murmured as she watched them leave. “Look out, Doctor. I’ll nurse your wounds, and I’m looking forward to it.”

“Welcome, ladies. I’m Dr. Piers, your Kegelmeister.”
Piers stood at a podium in the studio. The focal point in the room was a king-sized bed that was made up with plush pillows, cushions, and satin sheets. The ruby-red and black combinations were incredibly sexy. Tara watched from the front row, surprised at how c
omfortable he was in front of two hundred sex-hungry females.
There was a thick mat on the floor in front of him where they would practice their exercises. The lights were bright, taking the mood away from the sinful scene.
A woman called out, “I’d like a volunteer to hel—"
“I’ll do it,” Tara called out then jumped to her feet so that he couldn’t refuse her.
Piers was almost quick enough to hide his frustration, but Tara caught the guarded look. As she moved to his side there were murmurs from the audience. Dressed in a skin-tight tank top and boxers covered with a Hawaiian print, he was delicious to the eyes.
“Thank you, miss.” His tone was barely shy of disdain.
“I’m Tara. Nice to meet you, Doctor,” she said with a purr.
“Uh.” Piers seemed at a loss for words for a moment then snapped out of it, took a deep breath, and sighed. After clearing his throat, he nodded at her then faced the audience.
“Many of you might wonder what Kegels are. Take a look at the diagram of a woman’s pelvic area on the projector screen.” Piers pointed at one section of muscles. “This is the PC, or pubococcygeal muscle. It resembles a hammock. This is the muscle you use to try and stop the flow of urine in a leaky bladder, or to hold back a fart.”
The audience laughed at his outrageous comment, breaking the ice. Tara watched as he loosened up, pleased at his response to her. I’ll have him in no time. He’s so hot!
Piers looked uncomfortable with her standing beside him, but Tara found that she liked the way he tried to ignore her while being forced to use her as his model. She inhaled his scent, her stomach doing a flip as she moved closer to him. She almost laughed aloud when he took a step away from her. He’s delicious. Mmmm, he smells like fresh Hawaiian air and spice.
“Doctor, why is it that women aren’t supposed to fart, while men do it all the time and it’s supposed to be funny?”
When Piers froze then turned his head to stare at her in surprise, she almost laughed aloud. His deep-brown eyes held a look of confusion at first then captured a spark of fire that flew, releasing flecks of gold. Hiding a satisfied smile, Tara kept a look of query in her expression to seem like she was curious.
His well-tanned face darkened with a flush for a moment, but he recovered quickly.
“We’ll go into that a little later.”
As Piers continued with the class, she watched him, sure that she was making him uncomfortable. She couldn’t wait until they were back at Mateo’s house and she’d have him all to herself.
“You can practice tightening your Kegels anywhere, anytime, and no one would know. We are here to learn how to strengthen those muscles that become weak after childbirth, with age, and with obesity.”
Tara seized the moment he stopped talking, and practically purred. “Doctor, I’d love to tighten up those muscles. I understand it makes your sex life a lot more fun.”
She nearly burst out laughing when his eyes widened a little, and he swallowed hard. Once again, he pulled himself together and cleared his throat, but this time he kept his eyes on the class.
“Yes, Tara, Kegels do help your love life. Now, I ask that you all hold your questions until the end of the session. We’re going to discuss all elements of the Kegels and learn more about them through counselling and sex therapy classes.”
This time, Tara gave a low, husky chuckle and said, “Oh, yeah, I can’t wait for that part!”
The women in the class laughed and Tara bowed.
Piers sucked in a deep breath, his lips tightening as he stood unmoving at the podium.
“That will be all for the day. Please make sure you sign up for yoga and the gym sessions.”
Turning abruptly, Piers left the room through the change room door, leaving Tara on stage. She smiled and winked at the audience, bringing more laughter.
He has no idea how well I can do in sex therapy.
It was time to tease the tiger.
* * * *
A woman in the audience watched Tara with disdain. She wanted to be the one to help Piers. After all, she knew everything about him. Simply watching him turned her on. He was every woman’s dream of a man who could fulfill every wish. She’d heard of his exploits with Rae Hooper, now Rae Mateo, and wanted him for herself.
Somehow, she’d find a way to make Tara pay for interfering in her quest for Piers. For a moment, she imagined him in her bed, begging her to let him have her. It took some doing, but she managed to remain focused on him once again. Tomorrow she’d work up a plan to get him all to herself. Tomorrow would be the beginning of their relationship, she was sure.
Chapter 3:
Stalking the Tiger
Tara walked the length of the beach after the class, thinking about how she was going to get Piers to loosen up. She’d promised Rae that she would help him through his pain and make him forget, if only for a short time.
She took off her sarong and placed it on a small table along with her sunglasses and sunscreen. The day was perfect for a swim in the ocean. The pure-white bikini she wore was in stark contrast to her earthy, caramel skin.
“I’ve never seen an ocean before this week. I can’t wait to get in.”
When she touched her feet to the hot sand, she squealed and ran to get to the cooler wet sand. As a wave crested and covered her toes, she shrieked and ran back to where the waves didn’t reach dry sand. Another try was in order. Tara forced herself to walk in ankle deep without running away. A larger wave rushed in, splashing her up to her knees. She cried out, laughing as she fell backward, landing on her ass in the sand.
“Oh, that’s freezing!”
“Need a hand?”
With her hand shielding her eyes, Tara looked up and met the eyes of Kona, the fire dancer. He was extremely handsome, with sharp, chiselled features and black wavy hair that kissed his shoulders. His six-pack drew her gaze, as did the rest of his fit body.
“I’d appreciate that.” Her tinkling laughter made him smile as she accepted a hand up.
“Not many people come to the beach at this time of day due to the heat.”
“Well, Kona, I’m not afraid of the heat. As a matter of fact, I love it.”
“I’m at a disadvantage. You know my name, but I don’t know yours.”
Since he still held her hand, she smiled and shook it.
“I’m Tara.”
“Let’s sit over there on the lounge chairs and talk a while,” he said, his eyes speaking volumes about his appreciation of her body.
“Where did you meet Rae?”
Basking in the praise, she answered, “We met at a conference for travel agents. I worked in San Francisco and she was in Toronto. It was like we’d known each other all our lives.”
“Rae must be a special woman to capture the infamous Dr. Love Shark. He’s been on the market since he was in his mid-teens, but no one was able to tie him down until she came along. Did you know that he hid her suitcases after they were recovered from thieves at the airport?”
Tara laughed with delight. “She told me. He sure went to great lengths to snatch her up. The only thing is that she’s worried about Piers. He took it pretty hard when she broke it off.”
“Piers is a good man. He’s honest, loyal, and kind. I hate to see him hurt like that.”
“He’ll come around if I have anything to do with it.”
“Do you have a plan? He’s a tough nut to crack.”
“Kona, when I set my mind to do something, I always succeed.” Tara laughed, bringing a chuckle from him.
“I believe it.”
“Well, since Piers is into threesomes, I thought I’d find someone to fill in where Mateo left off and get his mind off Rae.”
“Sounds like a good plan. Have you got anyone picked out?”
“Not yet. I’ve only just arrived at the resort.” Suddenly, she eyed him with speculation. “Hey, are you married?”
Kona threw back his head in laughter. “Me? Not even close. I take it you
want me for a third partner? I’m not gay.”
“Neither is Mateo or Piers. The secret is to remain neutral about a strictly sex-driven relationship. I have no plans to keep it going. Once he feels better about Mateo and Rae, I’m out of here. I have a month to enjoy pure, unadulterated sex. Are you game?”
“For sure, but I’ve never done a ménage before. Have you?”
It was Tara’s turn to laugh. “Not even once, but I’m intrigued by it. Why don’t you come to the house for dinner tonight and we can begin to work on him together.”
“Sounds like a plan. I think if we spend some quality time flirting with each other first, he might get the idea. After all, he and Mateo used to be a team when it came to women. They never had a problem finding female partners.”
Studying Kona with a critical eye, she asked, “Are you sure you can keep it straight sex? I’m not into getting serious about the person, or people, I sleep with. Oh, and by sleep, I only mean sex. There will be no sleeping together after we’re done. I like my own bed and no cuddling.”
“You are one mysterious woman, Tara. Can I ask why you feel the way you do?”
“You haven’t answered my question. Will you follow my rules?”
“Sure. Let’s go get a drink at the bar and we can work on our plan to get Piers to agree.”
“I already have one. Let’s get the drinks anyway. I have a lot of nerve, I’ll admit, and Piers won’t know what hit him. Dinner will be at five o’clock. Is that good for you?”
“If Moki is cooking, I’ll be there early. She’s an excellent chef.”
“So I hear.”

With one last check in the mirror, Tara smiled at herself. The sexy red dress she wore was revealing, yet tasteful. She wore no bra, as the V neck dipped low below her breasts and swooped down in the back. She also had matching six-inch heels on. Ruby-red studs in her ears with a simple ruby necklace were her only adornments. She’d already changed the beads in her hair to red as well. She planned to knock Piers’s socks off tonight.
