by Linda Hudson-Smith

Gabrielle held Cameron’s head against her breasts, stroking his back and rubbing his arms. “I’m so sorry.” Tears sprang to her eyes. “I can only imagine how you feel. I’m sure you and the entire team did all you could. The outcome is not always in our hands.”

A seventy-year-old male had suffered a massive heart attack. He’d been airlifted in an emergency helicopter to the nearest hospital after the ship’s medical team had done all they could do to stabilize him. Cameron told Gabrielle that several hours later, rescue services radioed back, informing the ship’s medical team that the man had succumbed before he was wheeled into the E.R.

They held each other quietly for several minutes, Finally, Cameron rose so they could go shower.

He opened his cabin and allowed her to precede him, then immediately began undressing. Once he was naked, he lifted her from the sofa and stood her on her feet. Quicker than he’d undressed, he had her stripped nude. Taking her hand, he led her into the bathroom, where they stepped into the glass shower, turned on the water and closed the door.

Cameron removed the shower gel from the caddy and squirted it all over her body. He handed the gel to her, telling her to lather him up. Although Gabrielle felt a little timid, she lathered him up. Then he stayed

Gabrielle’s hand. “You took care of me and it’s my turn to do you.”

Gabrielle laughed heartily. “Do me. You’re going to do me with shower gel?”

Cameron grinned devilishly. “You tell me, after we’re through.”

Wanting to leave no part of her unattended, he massaged the gel over her entire body, slipping his hands between her legs and over her thighs to lather up her sensitive areas. He didn’t linger there long, because he planned to revisit the very core of her sensuality.

Wide, swirling motions with his teasing hands took care of soaping her firm buttocks. Carefully pressing her back against the cool glass, he used the tip of his fingers to spread suds on her neck and throat. He licked his lips, then drew large circles in gel around her beautiful breasts and outlined her nipples with smaller gel rings. He dipped his head and drew a taut nipple into his mouth, letting his tongue and teeth work her into a squirming frenzy.

The blush on her face and skin had him turned on. It was time for them to wash off, but he had a unique method in mind for her. She wasn’t ready to make wild passionate love to him, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t utterly satisfy her natural desires and make her scream for more. After dialing the shower head to a warm, pulsating spray, Cameron gave it to her to rinse him off.

Gabrielle had been shivering, but Cameron’s hands had turned up her body heat. As she ran water over his flesh, pleasure showed on his face.

Gabrielle passed the shower head back to him.

Pulling her to him, he kissed her passionately. “Ready for me to do you, babe?”

All she could do was smile.

Taking his time, he rinsed the upper portion of her body. As the clean water ran down her breasts, he caught it with his mouth, kissing her, without spitting out the water. Dropping to his knees, he positioned his head right below the core of her. He ran more water into his mouth from the shower head, then he leaned down and rinsed her intimate core with the water inside his mouth. With one hand clamped firmly around her leg, he rinsed her off again, his tongue getting in on the action to lap the moisture away.

As he noticed her legs shaking and becoming unstable, he sat down on the shower floor and brought her down onto his lap. He kissed her breathlessly, and his hands explored every inch of the tender flesh surrounding the areas of her most intimate self.

Inserting one finger into her core, he tenderly went to work on the one place he craved. He wanted to fully satisfy Gabrielle without actually making love to her. There were countless ways to bring her sexual gratification, but none of that was as important as bringing contentment to her soul. It was his job to make sure he didn’t do anything to inflict pain on her heart and spirit. She needed his love and support.

Cameron felt the riotous explosion the moment it erupted inside her. Gathering her trembling body closer to his, he held her tightly, whispering her name softly. As she screamed out his name, time and time again, he covered her mouth with his and silenced her.

Cameron looked into Gabrielle’s eyes. “I love you, Gabby.”

“I love you, too.” A tear escaped the corner of her eye.

“Sad tears or happy ones?” Cameron asked, gently kissing it away.

  “Very happy ones.”

Cameron carried Gabrielle out of the shower and wrapped her up in one of his thick terry robes. He brought her into the bedroom and settled her on his bed. “Can I make you some hot tea?”

Gabrielle looked up at him with an unreadable expression in her eyes. She reached her hand out to him. “You said you didn’t want us apart, not for a second. Has that changed?”

“Nothing has changed.” Slipping into bed with her, he drew Gabrielle into his arms, and held her tight. “Are you okay?”

She swallowed hard. “That’s never happened to me before.”

He looked puzzled. “What’s never happened?”

“The way you charmed, seduced then conquered me in the shower. I surrendered all. I’ve never felt anything like it in my life, never had skyrockets shooting off inside my body. Have I been missing something?”

“You’ve been missing me, baby. What I did to you and with you was also a first for me. I’m always thinking of ways to love and satisfy you, original ways. Nothing I’ve done in the past is good enough for you. That’s what makes you so special—you make a man want to try something new and to continuously perfect the way I treat you. All I want is to bring you pleasure, designed solely for you. You bring that need out in me, girl.”

“I can’t tell you all the things you bring out in me. I’m ready to let go of the past, Cameron. I almost lost you by letting the past guide my thoughts and actions.”

Cameron kissed her sweetly. “At the end of these five months, we can assess our relationship if you want. But I’m already positive about our future as one.”

“I like your plan. In the meantime, we’ll stick together like glue.”

Gabrielle sat up in bed and removed the robe. “I’ve had my first wild ride on the waves of your passion, and now I’m hungry for all night long.”

Finally ready for all of him, she straddled Cameron and slowly took him inside her, looking into his eyes all the while. As he sat up to bring them even closer together, she gasped wantonly. Their lips met in a fiery kiss and she lost herself in the intimacy of their bodies entwined together. She couldn’t get enough of him, and she rocked her hips back and forth and moaned at the rewarding pleasures he offered back.

Cameron was prepared to steer the ship for as long as she wanted to ride the waves. He rolled her on her back without losing the intimate connection. She was hot and he hoped she never cooled down with him. He was so sure of what they had that he had thrown his entire self into loving her.

Gabrielle’s body felt weightless as Cameron made unbridled love to her, making her intimate zones tremble from the heat he filled her with. She screamed out his name as she exploded from sheer ecstasy. She gasped and panted until her breathing became easier.

As he rode the roaring tide of their completion, he’d never felt so amazing.

Completely satisfied and hopelessly in love, Gabrielle looked up at Cameron and smiled. “I hope we always ride those waves of passion together.”

Looking at her with love in his eyes, Cameron stroked her hair. “Together is how it will always be for us. I promise.”

The couple sealed the pact with a binding kiss.
