Dante's Key Page 33

by G. L. Baron

If you are interested in exploring this theme in further depth, at the end of this note, in any case, I have included some links to websites that will give you some ideas.

One last point, before you turn the final digital or paper pages. Maybe some of you are wondering what exactly are the Books of the Seers, found by Cassini. Well, I would like to answer and I will, but a complete discussion of the subject deserves a separate book… Continue to follow me, who knows, perhaps it might be my next novel.

I conclude by thanking all who have helped me in the drafting of the book, supplying me with archaeological, artistic, astronomical, technical, scientific and medical information. In rigorous alphabetical order I have to thank: Cristina Aicardi, Oscar Alicicco, Francesco Azzarello, Leopoldo Benacchio, Andrea Campane, Christian Capovilla, Daniele Cassinelli, Massimiliano Comparin, Giorgia di Tolle, the department of Astronomy at the University of Padua, Pasquale Fedele, Fausto Fiore, Daniele Gasparri, Angelo Leto Barone, Carmelo Pulvirenti, Claudio Ramasaco Volpon, Martin Rua, Giuseppe Scaffidi Dominanello, Ruggero Stagni, Carla Tocchetti.

Naturally, I thank Raphael Avanzini who spurred me on to find new narrative horizons, and Newton Compton; my editor, Alessandra Penna, whose skilful hand helped make the book become exactly the way you read it, and my agent Roberta Oliva who, along with Silvia Arienti, believed in this novel from the beginning.

A final thanks to my wife Elena, my first and priceless proofreader, and obviously Giancarlo Gianazza, always so polite and available for answering all my questions… even the most trivial!

I conclude by saying that all mistakes found in the book are mine.
