“I know.” She leaned her head against his shoulder. He really was a good guy, vampire or not.
“This isn’t over.” Quinn spoke and the others nodded in agreement.
Libby studied the serious faces of the gathered men and realized that she would trust any of them with her life. Then she felt Ty lean down to give her a brief kiss.
Even though her world had been completely rocked on its axis. And even though she was unsure exactly what it would be like from here on out, still there definitely were some silver linings.

Later, after everyone had left, Quinn stood at his window overlooking the gleaming waters of the Gulf Coast as they reflected the moonshine. Though they hadn’t been able to take McElroy or any of the other vampires alive, the bloodslaves were a different story. Their conditions had been pitiful, but luckily they had been found in time. With time and care, they would heal.
And Simone…she was still out there somewhere. He knew she would be furious at this latest turn of events. No, this definitely was not over. He was sure they would have to deal with her eventually. Only this time, he and the others would be prepared. She’d better watch out because there was no way in hell Quinn would ever allow anything to harm those that he considered his. Never.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
When I was young, I discovered the power of the written word, and I’ve been a fan ever since. It always amazed and astounded me that not everyone was as fascinated by language as I was. I became an avid reader, reading everything from trashy romance novels to classic literature. Sometimes I would come away from those books with a feeling of profound satisfaction. But sometimes all I could think of was…No! That’s not how it should have gone!! I started writing my own scenes, trying to make the stories work like I wanted them to. In college I majored in English and started writing short stories. I won some awards for them, but once I graduated, the real world took over, and I had to go to…ugh…work. I continued to read like a madwoman, but writing took a back seat until a few years ago, when I took it up again. I discovered the “new” paranormal romance genre, and I loved the sexy new vampires and werewolves that were so unlike the horrific creatures of my childhood nightmares. I wanted to create my own. I hope you enjoy my world of gorgeous vampires and hot werewolves. Strange love is the best love!
