The Billionaire Goes For Broke: Book 1: London Page 7

  Michael sat up straighter.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that.” He said and Danielle turned to look at him again.

“You just said some other woman’s name. There is only one thing that it means.” She said, and he noticed for the first time a cry in her voice.

“Danielle…” He began to say as he watched her collect her clothes off the floor.

“No Michael. My father was right. I was heartbroken. I have been falling in love with you and all you’ve done is push me away constantly. This was probably the worst way to have done that.” Danielle was really crying now as she slipped into her clothes and then walked over to the coat rack.

Michael remained sitting on the couch watching her. He didn’t know what to say, he didn’t have any explanation for it. This was the second time it had happened, and yet Jenn was long gone. But, Danielle was right, this was the worst way to hurt her. He didn’t deserve her anymore.

“I hope you’re happy alone. Because this Jenn of yours is never going to have a bastard like you.” Danielle screamed as she banged the door shut behind her.

Michael cupped his face in his hands and sighed. One minute on top of the world, and the next as lost as can be. And for now his thoughts were on one thing – Jenn.

  About the Author

  Hi dear reader!

I started my writing career shortly after attending Boston University. With that behind me, I jumped into the lucrative freelancing writing field. I’ve written more blog posts, PR releases, and promotional pieces than I care to remember.

Moving on from that somewhat boring work, I jumped into my true love – the wonderful world of storytelling. My next career move was therefore ghostwriter fiction for others. Rewarding work but still had the feel of being a hustler of sorts.

Finally I decided to write my own books. Period. I had some great clients and great projects, yet nothing beats putting your own words to paper, or rather into a computer file.

Hope you enjoy this book, and please visit my website for more about me and my works. I have more goodies waiting. I’d love to have you visit. Click or just pop this in your browser:
