Filthy Desires: A Romantic Suspense Collection Page 6

by Parker, Kylie

“I guess these are the perks of being tall,” I tease, strolling alongside Ray.

“I’d understand if that came from someone short, but you can’t complain about that,” he declares. “You must be – what – 5’7”? 5’8”?”

“Five feet seven is a lot less than your 6’2”,” I say with a smile, settling my gaze on the thousands of flickering city lights on the coastline. A huge boat is making its way out of the harbor, its blue, red, and green lights taking my breath away. “So, what’s the plan? The view’s pretty amazing, but…”

“We’re going somewhere else later,” he interrupts. “There are decent clubs in and around the city. I just don’t want to go back right away,” he goes on, slowing his pace as we reach the end of the alley.

“You’re quite the romantic,” I point out, shifting my gaze back to him.

“Nah,” Ray disagrees, waving his hand in front of his face. “I made the mistake of parking my car almost a mile away, so, I’m a little tired,” He adds, leaning his back against the rocky wall. His words bring me a feeling of relief. I don’t want him to start rambling on about the beauty of the moon and the stars. An idea springs into my mind, the moment I notice a large, wide, and deep archway going into the wall just beside him. I throw a quick glance right and then up. The alley is empty, just like the ledge above us. Reaching forward, I curl my fingers around his wrist and pull as I trot off toward the archway.

“Stacy, what are you doing?” He asks as I spin around to face him.

“You wanted a distraction,” I utter, my voice lowering to a soft, sexy whisper. “Let me give you one.”

At that, I cup his face in both of my hands, and tilt my head up. My lips smash into his, the feel of his clean-shaven cheeks in my grasp sending waves of wetness slipping down my thighs. Stunned by my move, the poor guy doesn’t move a muscle. But, in a mere moment, he yanks me close, and then curls his arm around my waist. Using his weight, he pushes my body forward, until I feel the hard surface of the wall on my upper back. His fiery kiss sweeps me off my feet. I love the warm thickness that surrounds my mouth; yet, I don’t mean to stop. I want him: all of him. Not in a hotel room, but right here. I release his cheek, and choose to run my hand down his chest. Chiseled muscles flex beneath my hand. I squeeze hard, whimpering as I press myself into him.

“You must be crazy,” he grunts into my mouth as I grab and hold onto his balls through his pants.

“I want you,” I whisper, pulling his zipper down. I succeed in hooking my leg around his hip, his deep groan screaming to me that he has just agreed to play along. I don’t feel his strong fingers on my waist anymore. Instead, I feel them on my outer thigh, starting to make their way up. I undo the button of his boxers, dragging my nails down his cheek. Delicious hardness fills my hand, making my pussy throb with anticipation. The tip of his tongue brushes my teeth, just when his fingertips make contact with the lace of my thong. I put my leg down on the ground, running my hand down his shaft. Ray mumbles something inaudible, hooking his fingers around the waistband of my panties. He rolls them down my thighs as I pull down his foreskin. Free of my underwear, I move my hand back up. Pre-cum moistens my thumb when it brushes the head. He rocks his hips, enjoying the friction, but in a split second, his hands are under my thighs, pushing them upward. I can take a hint, and this is as clear as it gets. I curl my legs around his waist, tipping my head back, his inches rubbing against my stomach.

“You dirty little seductress,” he growls lowly into my mouth, his eyes burning into mine. “You like to fuck in public?”

“No,” I hiss, pulling his shirt out of his pants, my dress bunched around my waist. “I just want to fuck you in public.”

“You want to know what I thought when I saw you?” Ray whispers, kissing his way down the side of my neck.

“What was that?” I breathe, throwing my arms around his upper back.

“She’d feel great wrapped around my cock,” he says, reaching down to grab his shaft. “What did you think?”

“Me on all fours, with you pounding me hard from behind,” I reply, beginning to like his game. It’s definitely different from what I’ve been used to so far in my experience. My lovers haven’t liked to talk much, if they’ve talked at all. Ray strokes himself once, guiding his length to my entrance. I bite my lower lip, feeling his thick inches sliding into me. Leaning forward, I stare deep into his eyes as a long moan escapes me. But, he doesn’t let me take another breath. Reaching up, he puts his fingers over my mouth, and leans in.

“Careful,” he grunts. “I don’t want to become a spectacle, do you?”

I shake my head sideways in refusal.

“Good,” Ray whispers, his lips less than an inch away from mine. Dropping his hand, he locks them with mine, shoving his cock all the way in. He swallows my moan, rolling the strap of my dress down my arm. Starting to rock against me, he releases my breast from the cup of my bra. A good, firm squeeze adds to my arousal. He traps my nipple between his thumb and index finger, our tongues swirling against each other. “It’s so fucking soft,” He grunts, his other hand mapping out the skin of my thigh.

“Kiss it,” I command, my hair spilling all over his chest.

“Yeah,” He groans, bending his head towards my breast. Easing me away from the wall, he grips my thighs with both hands. I throw my head back, feeling his hot mouth on my flesh. He lays a passionate kiss on my nipple, his hands sliding down to my ass. Splaying his fingers over my cheeks, he takes my nipple into his mouth, forcing more and louder moans from me. I glide my hands up his back and stop them at his shoulders, wishing I had yanked his shirt off so that I could feel him better. Even so, I love being there with him, trapped in his embrace, subject to his whims. I am the one who lured him into that deep crevice, but now, he is controlling me. With each and every one of his thrusts, my head gently bumps against the wall. Clamping my legs around his waist, I open my eyes to slits. Everything around me has become a blur: his large figure; the reflection of the moonlight on the sea; and his short, brown hair; have merged into an image of ecstasy – the ecstasy he is offering me so freely. I can feel his fingertips digging into my flesh, half an inch away from my ass crack. Most of all, however, what really turns me on is the fear of getting caught. Just thinking about it turns my desire into a fire that consumes everything in its wake. It makes me want to devour him, have him pound me faster and harder than I have ever been pounded before.

“Harder!” I growl, tilting my head all the way back. At my command, he pumps away into me, running his tongue up my chest. I lean forward, eager to taste his scrumptious mouth. Once again, Ray finds my lips and growls into them as he pumps away into me.

“Come for me,” he urges, the sound of his body smashing up against me audible over the sound of the waves. I can’t utter another word. Cries of pleasure are falling from my lips, my dripping wet pussy clinging to his rock-hard shaft. Ray swallows more of my moans as a powerful orgasm sends every nerve in my body into overdrive. Pulling out, he continues to hold me tight, just before his juices spurt of out his cock. I collapse onto him, rewarding him with a kiss on the neck, just below his earlobe.

“Well…” I gasp out. “Was that enough to distract you?”

“Distract me?” Ray snorts in amusement, easing me down on trembling legs. “Girl, what the hell are you talking about? You just blew my mind.”

“Not yet, but that can be arranged,” I purr like a contented cat. A broad smile forms on his face. Just when he’s about to speak however, his phone buzzes with an incoming call.

“Hey, man,” Ray says on an exhale. I bend down to pick up my panties, maintaining eye contact with him. “What?” All of a sudden, his baritone turns into a high-pitched squeal. “Where’s the hospital? Right; I’ll use the navigator to find it. I’ll be right there.”

“What happened?” I ask him, my breath still a little quicker than usual.

“Sorry, Stacy,” he sighs, blinking slowly as he tucks his shirt back in h
is pants. “A friend of mine’s been in an accident. I’ve got to go. Thanks a lot for this.”

“Thank…” I don’t even have time to express my confusion. Ray turns around and strides out of the crevice and out of the alley without bothering to say “goodnight,” or anything. And, if that is not enough, I don’t have his number, and he doesn’t have mine. All I have from him is the feel of his arms around me, the taste of his demanding kiss, and the memory of the insanity that was just “us.” It’s by far the craziest thing I’ve ever done in my whole life.

Dean’s in the hospital? Well, I’m stunned. He’s already busted his legs and his nose twice and he’s also suffered a fractured collarbone. Expecting him not to have an accident was a ridiculous notion.

After a frantic dash across the city’s streets, I reach my SUV. With adrenaline pumping through my veins, I find the location of the hospital on the navigator. Frustration pours into my heart when I realize that the quickest route is via the coastal road. I just left Stacy there, and unless she’s some kind of superhero or she’s taken a cab, she’s not far. Nevertheless, I am much too upset to consider an alternative route. Running into the girl who had given me an incredible time is not going to deter me from getting to my little brother as quickly as possible. Smoke rises up from all four tires as I drive off.

The short route to the hospital gives me some time to reflect on what has transpired. Without a doubt, it was one, wild, crazy ride. There I was, believing I had found someone to fool around with at some point during the night or on our second date. I was prepared to wait a night or two to get her into bed. Yet, she had other things in mind. I don’t have a clue what drove her to give herself to me so fast, but I never pass up anything good, and she is more than just good. Stacy is the very definition of a knockout: long, blonde hair lies on her shoulders; sky-blue eyes; big, natural breasts; long, shapely legs; and an ass that I could stare at for hours. One would have to be crazy or gay not to want to sleep with her. In my hastiness to get back to my car, I made a mistake I knew I would come to regret. I didn’t get her number. Now, the odds of my finding her in a city of two-hundred thousand locals and several thousand tourists were next to none.

This sucks, but I’ll always have the memory. And it was sweet, baby. It was sweeter than honey. Wait, what am I doing? My friend’s in the hospital and I’m thinking about a chick? Snap out of it, Ray. Stacy was an amazing fuck, and that’s it. Don’t blow this out of proportion.

Ditching my Jeep in the hospital’s parking lot, I sprint towards its entrance, my heart ready to burst right out of my chest. The mere notion of Dean fighting for his life threatens to consume me whole and suck me into an abyss of sorrow I have never been in my life. His sarcasm can drive Michael and me crazy sometimes, and he may be a handful, but he’s still our handful.

I take a few, furtive glances around me as I step into the lobby. There are people at the reception desk who are in the middle of a heated conversation. A wide corridor stretches out in front of me. Two, large men are heading in my direction. One of them is walking normally, whereas the other seems to be limping. I don’t have to take a closer look to discover his identity. His black, leather outfit and the helmet in his grasp are telltale signs of who he is. It’s Dean. I waste no time at all. Waves of relief wash over me as I stride along the corridor. He seems to have taken a nasty fall, but other than that, he’s fine.

“You look like shit,” he remarks, his face twisting with a mixed expression of amusement and irony. “Where were you?”

“I look like shit?” I wonder, pointing at myself. “Have you seen a mirror lately? What the hell happened? Are you okay?”

“He’s going to be just fine,” Michael interjects. “He’s got a couple of nasty bruises and some scratches, but that’s about it. And you’ll be glad to know he didn’t do anything wrong this time. I saw the whole thing. There’d been an accident on the way to the freeway. Dean’s bike slipped into some oil and he wiped out. I called the rental dealership and told them about it. Since our boy here isn’t to blame, we owe them nothing. In fact, they agreed to give him another motorcycle free of charge for the remainder of our stay.”

“That’s good to hear,” I murmur, nodding at the same time. “Why didn’t you tell me this over the phone? I was worried sick.”

“Because he landed pretty hard on his knee,” Michael explains, his voice losing volume. “He was in a lot of pain when the paramedics arrived. I didn’t know the extent of his injuries, until about ten minutes ago.”

“You still haven’t told us where you were,” Dean states, taking a step closer to me.

“I was, um…” I falter, dragging my gaze away from him. “I was with someone.”

“He looked away,” Dean’s remark makes me regret my reaction, because it told him and Michael precisely what I was preoccupied with. “We both know what that means.”

“That’s right,” Michael agrees, raising an eyebrow. “Start talking.”

“I’d have a lot more to say if biker boy here hadn’t fallen off his goddamn motorcycle,” I grumble, turning my attention back to Dean.

“I’m sorry, I’ll try to fly over any oil next time,” he says in sarcastic tones, narrowing his eyes at me.

“It doesn’t matter anyway,” I sigh, shaking my head in disappointment. “We met last night at the harbor. She asked me to meet her at the same spot tonight. We were standing outside a club when you called me. In my panic, I forgot to get her number,” I’m not telling them the whole truth, simply because I doubt they will believe my story. Perhaps I would do the same thing if one of them claimed they had sex with a knockout like her.

“Did you head anywhere on your way over?” Dean squints at me.

  “No; why?”

“Because there are hundreds of chicks out there, and you’re sad about losing one,” he chuckles, glancing at me first, and then Michael.

“This isn’t funny,” I complain, my tone stiff. “I liked her, and not just because she was hot.

  “Don’t tell me you had a con…”

“You’re crossing the line, kid,” Michael raises his voice above Dean’s. “You’re right, but I’ve told you this like a million times. It’s not your point. It is the way you…”

“Make it,” Dean finishes out his friend’s sentence, his voice dropping down two octaves. “Sorry, Ray.”

“Let’s get out of here,” I suggest, unwilling to let this escalate. Dean is six years younger than Michael and me. That doesn’t mean he can do anything and get away with it, but arguing with him after his accident is not going to help him or me for that matter. It won’t make me feel any better, either. If anything, it’s only going to make me feel much, much worse. Only one person can lift my spirits, and she is somewhere in Heraklion, probably wondering why I took off on her like that.

How in the world did I make such a stupid mistake?

The same question has been lingering in my mind, long after I’ve left the city’s coastal road. I have no regrets over seducing him. If I could turn time back, I would do it again. I loved his drive, but mainly, I appreciated the fact that he didn’t mistreat me or abuse me in any way. Some men are animals; that’s common knowledge. Yet, Ray wasn’t anything like that. On the contrary, he gave me respect; respect I’m not sure I deserved after offering myself to him like that. In any case, however, we have lost each other. And it’s this ugly reality that hurts more than the way our night was interrupted. He may be gorgeous, but he has another quality that appeals to me: his attitude. Not much seems capable of stressing him out, or at least that’s what I was able to figure out in the time that we spent together.

Are we talking Real Boyfriend Material? Here? Oh, no…

These two questions compel me to change my mind. Finding someone like him in Miami sounded great. We’d be able to have a real relationship and everything good that comes with it: going on dates to fancy restaurants
; partying and staying up all night at bars; strolling around the city; and of course, having lots of sex. We wouldn’t have just a summer fling. Therefore, I’m somehow relieved that he and I won’t be seeing each other again. I wanted to do many things on my vacation. Having an actual relationship with someone was not one of those. Ray can be an amazing guy for all I care, but this simply is a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Still, this development doesn’t make me feel any better. I have been in Crete for four days, and I still haven’t had a hot, passionate night with someone. All I have to remember is a long encounter with Michael and a quickie with Ray. I enjoyed them both, yes, but I can’t help but wonder what those nights would have evolved into. And I was positive that they would both have rocked my world, one way or another.

Strolling along the vast beach of Ammoudara, I get the same, dreadful feeling I got on the breakwater earlier. Bar and tavern customers aren’t expecting to see a woman in an expensive gown, and they’re chattering about me. With my frustration deepening more by the second, I do consider confronting someone. I was having an amazing time with Ray, up until the point that our date was interrupted. Instead, I step out of my heels and take them in my grasp, deciding to ignore them. What would I gain by having an argument? The answer is simple: absolutely nothing. It will help me vent, surely, but that’s pretty much the only upside to it. Screaming at a random guy is not going to turn time backwards or get me Ray’s number. With a heavy heart, I head towards my hotel. But, just as I’m about to turn my back to the sea, I see a familiar face in the water. Emily is emerging from the waves in a purple bikini and a broad grin gracing her face. This isn’t like her. I can still recall our arguments about night swims. They are my personal favorite, but she doesn’t like them at all. She thinks it’s too dangerous to enter the water at night.
