James Michaels is a disabled combat veteran living in his home state of Idaho with his lovely wife and two sons. He made the move to become a full time author after being medically retired from the Army and has not looked back since. His battle with TBI has made writing a challenge yet not an insurmountable one. The battle continues though it is a war he intends to win, and each novel and/or short story he finishes is one more victory.
His love of God, family and country is what drives him to get out of bed e
very day. Whenever he hears of a veteran in need, he goes out of his way to find the help needed to solve whatever problem has arisen. He suffers from PTSD and feels strongly that more should be done for other veterans suffering in silence.
