  “Fucking Waterman” I exclaimed.

“What ward is she on?” Amy asked with panic in her voice. She was distressed at the thought of her boyfriend pretending to be someone else. Fucking sick cunt! Somehow I knew he was involved in this. When I had confronted him, he had blatantly lied to my face. I bet it was Debbie who took the photo! She must of sneaked back in after our little talk.

  BITCH!

As for Mrs Waterman, I wouldn't of expected anything less from the twisted old hag bag!!!

“I have it written down” the nurse said. “Follow me.”

“Make sure you break his fucking legs!” I called out after them. “And call the police!” Even from a hospital bed I could still give out my orders!

  CHAPTER 20

Georgina was fast asleep. I could sit and watch her all day. Maybe when she learned that it was me who had rescued her maybe she should give a second chance. Maybe even love me again? I couldn't let her go back to Maxwell. There was no way he would be able to take care of her and a baby. I didn't even care that it wasn't my baby she was carrying. I just knew I could to do a better job than HIM!

A pang of sadness hit me. A few months ago we had been sat around a table celebrating and I was telling everyone I couldn't wait to have kids with her. I knew it freaked her out but I didn't mind. I just never thought she would be marrying another man and having his child. Funny how things can change in a blink of an eye!

He didn't care about her. Not one person had bothered to see where she was. Once again the only person Georgina had was me. Looking back I had always been there for her. I guess you couldn't change a habit of a lifetime. No matter what, at the end of the day something always brought us back together.

“Blake!” The door swung open and Amy marched in. She folded her arms and scowled at me. Then she looked over at Georgina and shock filled her face. “Oh my god” she screamed running over to her. “Who did this to her?”

I shrugged, knowing full well the answer to that question. The guilt was beginning to eat me up. I couldn't tell anyone otherwise they would find out about my involvement.

What sort of father would I be in prison?

Amy looked at me again and narrowed her eyes. I didn't want her here, I preferred me and Georgina alone. “Why have you told the staff your her boyfriend? Maxwell is going ballistic. They won't tell him a thing!” She shook her head. “More importantly why didn't you say she was here?”

I just stared at her. I didn't owe her an explanation. She had all night and most of the day to ring the hospital. They all did and none of them bothered. I was the one that had been holding Georgina's hand the whole way through this. She had the nerve to come in here and have a go at me.

I didn't want to share Georgina with anyone now. I wanted to be the only one she spoke to and looked at. The only one she needed, just like before. Now Amy had found us it would not be long before they took Georgina away from me. I couldn't hand her back to Maxwell now! Not again was he going to take what was rightfully mine. I had put years of hard work into my relationship with Georgina. I deserved her more than Maxwell.

“I'm sorry” I lied. “I was really worried about her. She had scans and was put in a coma. I just didn't want to leave her alone. I just thought someone would let you all know.”

I saw Amy's eyes light up and she strolled over to me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me. I froze, I didn't like the way she felt next to me and I didn't like her smell.

“Why did you say you were her boyfriend?” She asked pulling away.

  “I didn't.... They just assumed.”

“I forgive you” she kissed my cheek but I didn't have time to move. “Does Georgina need anything?”

I thought about her question. I knew Maxwell would be here soon. I had to get Georgina out of this place, away from these people!

“Yes” I quickly replied. “She needs toiletries.”

Amy gave a big smile. “Okay, I'll go and grab them. When I get back you should go home. You need a shower, food and sleep” she gave me a concerned look and left the room.

I waited a few seconds to make sure she had gone. I ran over to Georgina, she still had the IV in her hand. I closed my eyes and after three I pulled it out. Blood spurted everywhere. I would sort it out when we were safe.

  Page 74

I wrapped the blanket around her and scooped her up in my arms. All I had to do was get to the lift, get to the ground floor and get to the car. It was simple! Then me, Georgina and the baby could go anywhere we wanted. Start a new life and be happy.

With Georgina in my arms I checked out the hallway. It was clear. Quickly I made my way to the life and hit the call button. It felt like I was waiting forever.

“Blake!” Screamed a voice. I looked over my shoulder and Amy was stood at the reception desk.

  Had she tricked me?

The lift doors finally opened and I jumped in. I hit the ground button and prayed the doors would close. I watched Amy dash over with a nurse. My heart was beating fast. I urged the doors to close. Oh my god! This wasn't going to work...

I watched Amy get closer and finally the doors closed. I let out a breath of relief and rested up against the wall. I looked down at the beautiful woman in my arms. Thankfully, she was still fast asleep. I wondered if she was dreaming of me. I looked over at her hand, it was still pouring with blood. I had to get her to the car quickly and clean it up.

The lift pinged and the doors opened. We were finally on the ground floor. Thank god no one had joined us in the lift otherwise there wouldn't of been anyway this would of worked.

I was really close now. A few more minutes and we would be off to where ever we desired. Together like it should always be. I stepped out of the lift and no one was about. All I had to do now was get out of reception and get out into the car park. I began to run with Georgina in my arms.

“Blake!” Screamed a voice. I turned around and Amy was behind me. She was out of breath, she must of ran down the stairs. I looked in front of me, a security guard and a policeman were heading directly towards me.

  Fuck!

  I was trapped.

Georgina slowly opened her eyes and looked up at me. “Maxwell?” My heart broke in two at the sound of her saying his name. I fell to my knees, still holding tight to my girl. I couldn't let her go, not this time. We belonged together and always would. Why didn't anyone else see it that way?

Amy knelled down next to me. “What are you doing, Blake? She is ill and needs to be here.”

“Amy?” Georgina said. She looked dazed and confused. “What is going on?”

“Nothing” Amy replied. “Everything is fine.” Her eyes looked back onto me. “Give her to the nurse. She needs her hand sorting out.”

“No!” I cried, tightening my grip of Georgina. “We are together. She belonged with me. She's not meant to be with Maxwell. He doesn't deserve her or the baby.”

  “Baby?” Amy asked in shock.

I ignored her and carried on. “I love her and I am the only one who can look after her.” I looked back down at Georgina. Her sparkling blue eyes, blonde hair, rose bud lips. She looked like a tiny angel.

Georgina pulled herself up and was now sitting in my lap. It had felt like lifetime since we had been this close to each other. I took in her perfect scent. She wiped away a tear from my cheek and I fell into her soft touch.

  Why had everything changed?

Why couldn't we just go back to way things were?

I felt that pain in my chest again. I had it for weeks after Georgina had left me and my stomach was churning. I was back exactly where I was weeks ago.

  Page 75

“Blake” she spoke softly. “I know I did this to you.” I closed my eyes and just took in the sound of her voice. “I'm sorry I hurt you, I really never intended on doing so. I love Maxwell.”

My eyes opened wide at the mention of his name. She had regained her memory.

  It was game over!<

“What has he got that I haven't?” I cried.

“Nothing” she replied breathlessly. “Your a wonderful, handsome kind man.” She ran a hand through my hair. “You made me extremely happy for two whole years. I thank you for everything you did for me.”

  “But....” I cut her off.

“But... I fell in love with Maxwell. You did nothing wrong and I want you to live your life and move on.”

  “I blame him!” I snapped.

“You shouldn't” she gave a little chuckle. “I'm the one who cheated and I broke your heart. Everything is my fault.”

I tilted my head to the side and took in her face. She was right and I knew she was. I felt stupid! I would of never seriously got away with kidnapping her. Why had I lost my mind like that?

“I know someone who loves you very much” she looked over at Amy still sat beside me. “You would make her very happy, Blake. You deserve each other. Don't mess in up because of what I did.”

My eyes slowly moved to Amy this time. Even after my mental episode she was still by my side. I let go of Georgina and wrapped my arms around Amy. She embraced me tightly and lovingly.

  “I'm sorry” I cried.

“SSH” she whispered in my ear as my tears fell uncontrollably. “I told you I would be here no matter what.”

“Thank you” I said as I tightened my hug.

One of the security guards scooped Georgina up off the floor and sat her in a wheelchair. I never watched them take her away. Instead I stayed clung onto Amy on the hospital floor. I couldn't let go of Amy.

  My Amy. My girl.

I watched as Maxwell paced up and down the room. I was still stuck in this hospital. He was yelling at someone on the phone. I wanted to get out of this place and go home. I needed to walk in the fresh air and see prober day light.

Plus a walk would get me away from his fussing for a few hours. You would of thought I was the first woman ever to be pregnant. How was I going to get through the next 8 months?

“No!” He yelled. “I want that fucking bitch locked up and I don't want Olivia anywhere near her. That woman is fucking crazy and not stable enough to raise my daughter! Good...You better... Well, I am not fucking paying you to try!”

He finally took the phone away from his ear. Mr Golden rule the business man was back. “You okay?” he asked his tone softening. I rolled my eyes. We were here again!

“Stop!” I pleaded as I let out a frustrating scream. “Please, stop all the fussing. I am fine.”

He gave his smile and strolled over to me. I must have been getting better as I had that deep throbbing dark pain below. I was dying for him to make love to me. I squeezed my thighs together and shifted a little. I had begged him the other day to make love to me right here but he refused. He said it didn't feel right, that came out of the mouth of the man who fucked me in a McDonald’s rest room.

“Don't give me that look” he smirked. “I told you to wait till we get home.” I loved the way he always knew what I was thinking. He sat down next to me and ran a finger along my cheek. “I want nothing more than to be inside you, Miss Dawson.”

I reached out for his hand and changed the subject. “What did the solicitor say?”

He shook his head and rubbed his brow in annoyance. “Doesn't look good. Debbie is playing the mental card. Although custody of Olivia is looking good.”

“Did you sign the papers for the house?”

  “No!”

“Why?” I asked in shock. “You house isn't going to be big enough for the four of us to live in.”

  “Four?” He looked puzzled.

“Me, you, Olivia and our baby!”

He gave a little smile. “I keep forgetting about the little Golden blob.”

I smiled back at him. “I know it doesn't feel real.”

He draped his arm round my shoulder and pulled me in tight. I rested my head against his chest and took in his intoxicating scent. I really had to get home quick!

“What are we going to do about the house?”

“I was thinking” he began. “We should move to LA. My business is good there and Olivia could go back to her old school.”

“What about me?” I snapped, I could feel my eyes moving rapidly. “I have no job there. I can't be a stay at home Mum. I would go crazy!”

“Then your lucky I know you very well” he laughed. “Right this second a contract is being written.”

  “A contract?”

“Yep... I'm making you my business partner. I want us to share everything with each other.”

Wow! This was a lot to take in. He actually wanted to give me fifty per cent of everything he had built up. He trusted me that much. What if people thought I had planned this? What if people thought I was a gold digger?

  “Its too much” I sighed.

  Page 77

“How?” He gave me his cold stare. “Seriously, I want to share everything with you. We are engaged and now we are having a baby.” His hand gently rubbed my stomach and I placed my hand over his. His eyes slowly looked up at me. Blue on blue. “I love you.”

  “I love you too.”

“When did I turn into such a grown up?” he joked.

“Are you happy?” I asked with a serious tone.

“I have never been happier” he kissed my cheek and stood up. “I'm gonna find that nurse and get those discharge papers. We need to get you home!” He winked.

“Oh so wanton, Mr Golden Rule!” I giggled.

“Oh, how you know me, Miss Dawson.” He gave his special smile. He pulled out his phone and handed it to me. I just stared at it confused. “Call your Dad and tell him our good news.”

I tutted. “Do I have too? You've met my father and he is scary!”

“Yes... This is an order not a request. Won't be long” he kissed my lips and left the room.

I glared at the phone. This was going to be fun. I strolled through the phone till I found my Dad's number. I hit the call button and my heart started beating rapidly.

Why did I was get nervous when speaking to my Dad?

  “Hello” my Dad answered.

  “Dad?” I hesitated.

  “Georgina... What do you want?”

Oh how I loved his greetings. Always so pleased to hear from his youngest daughter. I swallowed hard and took a deep breath. It was now or never.

“I have something to tell you” I paused and sat up straight. I could feel my hands shaking. I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes. “I'm pregnant.”

“Caitlyn!” He screamed at the top of his voice. “You'll never guess what she's done now!”
