I'm sorry about the ending.
The heartbreak. The cliffhanger.
I'm crushed for Rose. I was DEVASTATED when I realized she was going to die. When I started writing this series it was meant to be solely Rose and Sven’s twisted love story, but then Lacey and Adam got a voice too. It became a web.
Sven’s a character you will see constantly evolving. In number one, he was this immature, yet intelligent man with goals. He got humbled. Yes, he’s still slightly immature in his own way, because that’s who Sven is, but we see him mature a lot in this one. He starts talking things more seriously. This change will continue in #3.
I know there’s a lot of unanswered questions around Rose’s death. So many. Why would he do that? Twisted psychopath aside. It’s hard to hold hope in someone who ends up letting you down. That’s what happened to Rose. In the worst way. The ultimate heartbreak.
But there’s more.
