  Prologue

  Marisol

I brush my hair back with my fingers. This heat is too oppressive, and I just popped my only hair tie. With the heat and humidity, my wavy hair is giving way to frizz and the wind. I feel the little curly-Qs on my temples start to take shape. I’m a ragged mess. Classes are almost out, and my summer is just about to kick off. My last final is in a few hours, so I decided to take a trip to the South Beach boardwalk. I’m supposed to be joining my brother on his island in a few weeks, but I don’t have many swimsuits. I know he’ll provide me with some if I tell him that, but they’ll be shit mi abuela would wear. I’m not an open or intentionally provocative person, but my friend has been nagging me about looking more my age. Then maybe I’ll find a boyfriend or something. Just because I’m almost twenty and single didn’t mean I was interested in finding anyone. Destiny knows I’m a loner. I stick to reading my books and watching nature shows on TV.

I’m so hot that I need to get out of here. Damn, I knew I should have packed an extra one in my bag. I have to do a double check, so I use the railing as a makeshift table and scrounge through my shoulder bag. Yes, I found one. I pull it out, taking the extra strands of hair off it, then swing my bag around over my ass while I fix my hair. I manage to get it into a ponytail, I pull out my phone to check my appearance. I’m using the camera to check for the flyaway strands. That’s when I see a guy staring at me. There’s no way I can look away.

He’s gorgeous in a grey suit with a white shirt and pink tie. Damn, our eyes meet through the screen image, and I blush hard. I’m sure my already heated face reddened up quickly. He winks at me, and I nearly melt into a puddle right there in front of a hundred people. The beach is always busy, so it’s amazing that our view hadn’t been interrupted. The man stands up and moves my way. I freeze because I don’t talk to guys especially older men, he’s an adult, and I’m still in my teens. He’s the most attractive man I’ve ever seen. Seriously, the superhero celebs don’t have anything on him when it comes to my body’s interest. I want him, but he’s probably married and a total bastard. I lower my phone, and that’s when a creep comes up and yanks it out of my hand. I turn around to chase after him, but he runs into my mystery guy. A violent expression crosses the hot guy’s face, then he straight clocks the thief in the jaw, sending him to the ground.

I gasp as he takes my phone from the piece of shit who then scrambles away.

He pulls out his pocket handkerchief and wipes off my phone before coming up to me. “Don’t want your hands touching that scum’s hands,” he says with a thick accent, handing my phone back to me. I get a better look at him, and he’s hotter than I thought possible. His eyes are a greyish-blue that pop with the color of his darker brown hair that’s cut a little long, but the sides are trimmed nice. His chiseled jaw has a light shadow of hair coming back, and instinctually I want to rub my hands over it. Everything from his height to his form screams power, and the urges going through me are terrifyingly intense. I feel like I’m looking at the big bad wolf and everything about him is just right.

“Thank you,” I mumble, taking the phone from his hand. Our fingers touch and I feel electricity shoot all through my body.

“I should not have let him get away,” he states. “But I could not allow you to be around such a creature.”

“It’s okay. I didn’t want to go through the whole police report and stuff like that anyway.”

My phone pings, and it’s a text from Destiny. Waiting at the café. Several angry emojis follow it. I type right back. I’m on my way.

“I’m sorry, sir. I have to go but thank you for what you did. I hope you didn’t hurt your hand.”

“No, I am fine, moya krasota. Be safe.” He takes my hand and raises it to his lips and kisses it. “Go, before I steal you away, my beauty.”

“Um…bye.” I turn around on my heels and make my way toward the café. As soon as I see Destiny, she gripes, “What took you so long?”

“You won’t believe it,” I say, dragging her into the café.

  Chapter 1

  Mikhail

“Mikhail, everything is ready,” Ivan says with a grimace that gives way to his frustration as he stands in my office doorway. He doesn’t want to be a part of my plan, but he chooses to be at my side. A smile creeps up my face just contemplating what awaits me. The thought of taking Marisol Navarro thrills me more than it should. The beautiful woman doesn’t know that she has been on my radar for over a year. Our chance encounter a few weeks ago made my mind up for me. I can’t wait any longer. Now that everything is secure, and she is a little older, I have set the wheels in motion.

“Good, let us be off. I want her in my bed tonight,
I state, standing quickly and fixing my suit. I look into my mirror, straighten my pink tie, her favorite color. The vision of her long, brown hair spread across the pale sheets with her flesh completely bared to me, and her hands tied with this tie stiffens my cock. I want to run my hands up and down her petite yet voluptuous body. Her breasts make my mouth water every day like a man lost in the desert.

“Brother, do you believe it will be that easy?” he asks, doubting my success.

I shrug my shoulders because there is a chance she’ll freak out once she realizes why she’s there, but I’m determined. Hell, she might freak out seeing me again, but damn, I could feel her body burn for me the second our eyes connected from across the boardwalk. “No, but I’ve never been a quitter, and I’ve never wanted anything as much as I’ve wanted her.” My cock is whimpering for relief, but I’ve not allowed myself a release in a long time. I won’t until I’m buried deep within her, claiming her womb and breeding her with my heir.

“Damn, she better be worth the war we’re about to start.” I’m not even worried about her brother. He’s a tough guy, but I’ve met the devil when I was younger, and no one can shake me. Well, Marisol could. She holds everything in the palm of her slender hands.

I have been watching Marisol for a long time now, and her brother rarely makes an appearance. He’s always too busy for her. He works tons of hours alone in his office. “I doubt he would even notice. Navarro spends his time stuck in his work.”

“Just like you,” Ivan scoffs as our driver opens the door car door.

I still spend more time with our sister, Natasha every week. She should be coming to the island in a few days to visit. I hope that everything is settled with Marisol when she does arrive. “It doesn’t matter. Let us go. I don’t want them to know we’re on the plane until it’s in the air. Understood?”

  “Yes.”

“What am I do to do with the other one?”

“That is not my concern.” He shakes his head, straightening his suit before we climb into the limo to the airport. The flight is less than two hours to the island, and that’s all I need to make her understand that we will be together.

  Chapter 2

  Marisol

“Andale, chica,” I call out. My bestie is taking way too long to look sexy casual. We’re going to be on a private flight. I think she’s interested in meeting one of my brother’s friends. He has a lot of hot ones for sure, but I’m just looking forward to getting away from the pressure of school. The semester is over, and I just want to relax for a while. Looking for Mr. Forever isn’t on my agenda. Okay, that may be a damn lie. Three weeks and I swear can’t shake him from my mind, but I’ll probably never see him again. Seriously, my frustration in school and life itself came when I walked away from that stranger.

“I’m coming, Mari. You are missing the subtleness needed to pull this look off,” Destiny says as she wraps her long brown hair in a bun. She has a black and teal patterned tiny bikini with a sheer white cover-up and teal flip-flops. She rolls her eyes at my outfit. I’m not nearly as carefree even if we are getting on my brother’s private jet and there’s no one but the pilot and one stewardess on board. I have on a pair of grey cotton shorts that just cover my butt with my retro Wham! one-shoulder tee on, covering up my bikini underneath. I slip on my pretty pink flip flops I got at the mall, grab my shades and a small suitcase. “Let’s go. I want the sun on my face.”

“Who are you kidding? We live in Miami. Seriously. There’s sun almost all the time.”

“Yes, but it’s crowded. Julian told me the beach outside our suite will be empty.” I don’t like the crowds. I want to read my favorite books without people interrupting me. It’s like people have no consideration. Then my mind moves back to the handsome Eastern European man. I hear his rugged accent in my head every night before bed.

“Hope it’s not that empty. I want to meet the man of my dreams on this vacation.”

“There will be men to ogle and that I’m sure will try to flirt with us, but there won’t be hundreds a day like here.” I roll my eyes at her.

She puts on her large sunglasses, then purposely lowers them with a look of pure annoyance. “Well are you going to stand there bitching all day or are we going to get to our flight?”

  “Shut it.”

We get into the limo that my brother scheduled to pick us up in and head to the airport. We go straight to the private jet area, and there are two planes that are being loaded. “Ms. Navarro, this way,” our driver says, leading us up the stairs. I don’t recognize the driver, but then again, I don’t know all my brother’s employees. I haven’t spoken to Julian today since he has an early morning meeting, but my arrival has been planned for days. My fingers are crossed that everything rolls along smoothly.

As I’m climbing the stairs, I spot a pair of girls about our age getting on the other jet getting ready to take off. “I guess I’m not the only one getting spoiled today.” I’ve never been on his private plane before, so this is a sweet treat for finishing my first year of college.

“Hello Ms. Navarro, I am Stacia, and I’ll be your stewardess. Please take a seat over here, and I will prepare a drink for you,” she says, smiling at me a bit too alarming. Maybe she’s trying to get in good with my brother.

“I’ll have a drink as well. I’m Ms. Walker. Whatever liquor you have will do.” I’m glad she said something because I was feeling a little uncomfortable about the way she was being treated. I’m not usually one to

“Sorry, yes, Ms. Walker. We have some great vodka on board.” She walks away as we take a seat.

“Damn, did your brother forget to tell them I was coming, too?” she asks.

I let out a huff. This isn’t the way I wanted it to start off. I should text Julian, but he’s in a meeting. “I think so. I’m sorry. I didn’t know my brother’s stewardess was Eastern European. That accent is hard to miss.”

“Well, maybe they rotate like they do on commercial flights.”

“Ah, maybe. I’ll ask when we get there.” I plop down on the seats that are so large I feel like I’m floating in them. I close my eyes and relax. The stewardess returns faster than I expected, but I thank her and take the refreshing drink. As soon as it hits my lips, I know that I’m in love with it. The vodka in it must be smooth because it’s nothing like the stuff I tried during one of the freshman parties.

“Damn, I could get used to this,” I sigh, leaning back and getting cozy as I feel the plane start to move. The tarmac is short and before we know it we’re in the air. I love that initial pull as the plane lifts off the ground. I take another sip and set my glass down just as I hear a gasp come from Destiny. Opening my eyes, I see two men who one who I remember very clearly. Oh hell, a chill of fear and a shiver of delight race through me. I’m not sure if I should be afraid or if I should be thankful for a second chance.

“Oh my God, I think we got on the wrong plane,” I stammer out, sitting upright. They are both ruggedly handsome even in their expensive suits. He has on a black suit, black dress shirt, and that pink tie. That damn pink tie. A little moan comes from my mouth. He lowers his gaze directly to my mouth. I shouldn’t be thinking about the way his strong arms stretch the sleeves or his wicked eyes leering at me.

He smiles at me, taking the seat across from me with his legs parted and relaxed as if he’s not bothered that we’re on the same private jet. With a smirk, he responds, “No, you’re on the right one. You’re on my plane. I am Mikhail. It is a pleasure to meet you again, Marisol.” Fuck, I’m here because he wanted it to be. Why am I not repulsed by it? Why am I feeling heat shooting straight between my thighs at being here with him?

“Um…how…” It hits me. Mikhail Dobrev, my brother’s latest competition. They bought an island resort out on an Island called Ostrov. I don’t remember the original name, but my brother said these men were in the Bratva or Mafia, something like that. I take in my captors. I know that’s who they are. They hav
e to be. There would be no way Julian would let a stranger who he didn’t know or trust escort me anywhere.

“What are we doing on your plane? Your staff knew my name,” I inform him, doing my best to seem pissed off, but it’s not working.

“You’re my guests, Marisol. So is your friend, but it wasn’t she who I cared to meet.” I shiver runs through me in the most interesting way. “You need to relax. I would never harm you. Unless you wanted me to pink up your skin.” Holy shit, he’s insinuating what I think he is. He wants me in his bed.

“Are you going to hold me hostage?”

  “No,”

“Then when we land, I can catch a flight to my brother’s island?”

  “Nyet.”

  “So you’re holding me hostage.”

“Nyet, Lyubov moya. Holding you hostage means that I will give you up once I get something in return, but there’s nothing I would want to exchange for you.”

“You know kidnapping is illegal.” He shrugs.

“So is underage drinking, but you don’t mind breaking those rules.”

“This is totally not the same,” I argue.

  Chapter 3

  Mikhail

She is so beautiful when she is heated. I look into her eyes and can see she’s only scared of letting me in. The way her thighs clenched when I told her I’d spank her. I ache to run my hand over her round ass. I wonder if she wanted to feel that right now. My cock swells in my suit. I should have rubbed myself before getting on the plane. I feel too much need to bury every inch into her tiny little pussy. She crosses her legs as if she’s going to stop the desire I know is there. I bet her panties are so soaked that they are leaving a spot on those itty-bitty shorts.

I would be pissed that she is wearing them, but my brother knows better to look at my woman. My eyes train to that spot between her legs, willing them to part.
