He actually blushed. “I was. But I’ve changed in the last twenty years.” Jake closed the distance between us then held out his hand for mine. I gave it to him and he pulled me up and into his arms. “I’m so glad we’re not cousins, Victoria. Because I want to see you again, soon.”
I hooked my arms around his neck and stared into those amazing eyes. “Me, too.”
He pressed a kiss to my forehead. “I’ll give you two choices.”
I waited, anticipation making my skin all tingly.
“We can go pick up your car, or you can drop that silly shawl and let me make love to you again.”
With a smile, I let the wrap fall to the floor.
