  THE BRITISH JOURNALIST Melanie Phillips is Britain's most controversial champion of national and cultural identity. Her weekly column currently appears in The Times of London; she also writes for the Jerusalem Post and Jewish Chronicle and is a regular contributor to BBC TV and radio. Her bestselling book Londonistan, about the British establishment's capitulation to Islamist aggression, was published in 2006.
