The Biker’s Virgin Page 8

by Michelle Valentine

“That’s hard to believe considering how well I know you.” Cade chuckles and then pauses for a beat. “What about Lemy?”

Frank waves Cade off. “Don’t worry about him. We’ll handle that chicken shit.” Frank flips his gaze to me then back to Cade. “Take her and get out of here. It’s your honeymoon for fuck’s sake, son.”

“All right. Call me when things cool down,” he tells them before he turns and leads me toward the door. He covers my eyes with his hand as we pass by my father. “Don’t look.”

I swallow hard and then hold my breath until we’re past the bloody scene. A weird sense of calm washes over me the moment we’re outside. The man I’ve feared my entire life is gone. I’m finally free of him. It’s all thanks to my husband. He’s literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

We come to Cade’s bike and he takes my hand. “You sure you’re all right? That was some heavy shit and you’re being quiet. You in shock?”

I shake my head. “I’m glad all of this is over.”

“Me too,” he says. “Now it’s time we figure out how we’re going to live our life together.”

“Together,” I repeat his words as I wrap my arms around his waist. “I like the sound of that.”

He leans down and presses his lips to mine. “Come on. Let’s get out of here.”

I hop on the back of his bike, unsure of where we are heading, but knowing we’re about to start our forever together.

  Epilogue

  Piper

“A little to the left,” I tell Cade as he places the star on top of our Christmas tree. He does exactly as I ask, and when it’s just right, I stop him. “That’s it. It’s perfect.”

Cade hops down from the ladder and then cradles my face, careful not to bump into my big belly. “That damn tree isn’t perfect. You are.”

I blush and attack his lips with mine, which only causes him to chuckle. The attraction I’ve felt toward Cade has always been crazy, but lately I haven’t been able to get enough of him. The doctor says it’s the pregnancy hormones making me so damn horny, but Cade doesn’t seem to mind. The slightest little things turn me on these days.

I unhook his belt, and move right to the button. “I need you.”

“Damn, baby. You’re going to break me. This is the fourth time today,” he says, while he pulls his shirt over his head.

I lick my lips as my fingers trail over the taut skin over his rock-hard abs. “What can I say? You’re addicting.”

He smiles with a wicked gleam in his eyes. “I definitely know the feeling of being addicted to someone. Speaking of which...” His hand slips under the nightgown I’m wearing to touch my panty-covered pussy. “The minute you have our baby, I’m going to put another one in you.”

I lift my eyebrow in challenge. “You are, are you?”

He bites his bottom lip as he shoves the silky material over and massages my throbbing clit. I relax against him and grip his shoulders to keep myself from falling over as I’m instantly wet for him. His fingers are fucking magical.

When he slips a digit inside, I moan.

“See how you open up for me? You take everything I give you. It’s how I knocked you up the first time I fucked you.” He licks my top lip as he continues to work his finger in and out of me. “Your body was made for me. You’re mine.”

A shiver rips down my spine. I love it when he claims me. It’s a fucking turn on. I love this man, and even though we aren’t a typical love story, we’re perfection together.

I thread my fingers in his hair, ready to get lost in him and our love.

  Epilogue

  Cade

I hook my arm under Piper’s leg and under her shoulders as she bears down. “That’s it, baby. Push. You can do it.”

Ever since I found out Piper was pregnant, I’ve been waiting for this day to come. People always talk about being excited for Christmas morning when they were kids, unwrapping gifts, but I’ve never experienced anything close to that before.

  Until now.

Piper and our baby are the best things that have ever happened to me. I haven’t even met this little girl yet, and she already owns my heart.

I wish my father could be here to meet her, but he got five years for manslaughter. He left the club to me run while he’s gone, and I’m doing the best I can to make its business deals as clean as possible. I don’t want to allow anything to jeopardize my freedom and take me away from my girls.

“Okay, she’s crowning,” the doctor announces to the room. “A couple more pushes and we’ll have a baby. Now, push.”

The nurse next to Piper keeps repeating push, push, push, encouraging her to keep going.

My heart squeezes when I look down and get the first glimpse of my daughter’s face, then her shoulders as the doctor tugs her out.

“Oh, my God,” I whisper, amazed of the miracle Piper and I have created.

I’ve never been apart of something so good and pure before. For the longest time, I convinced myself I was no good. But our baby and Piper…I’ll be a better man for them.

“What?” Piper questions me in a frantic voice. “Is something wrong?”

Before I can even respond, our daughter cries.

The doctor suctions our baby’s mouth and nose, and then lays the baby on Piper’s chest. Tears flow freely from my wife’s eyes as she cradles our baby in her arms. I stare down at my two girls in complete awe. These two are my entire life now. I can’t remember what my life was like before this moment, and I’m glad for it, because I don’t want to.

I smooth Piper’s hair back from her face and kiss her forehead before I lean down and kiss our baby. “She’s perfect.”

Piper smiles. “She is. What should we name her?”

  “Angel.”

“Angel,” she lets the name roll off her tongue as if she’s trying it on to see how it feels. “I love it—our little angel.”

“You both are my angels,” I tell her before I place a soft kiss on her lips. “I love you, Piper.”

Her eyes light up. “I love you, too.”

Hearing her say that makes me smile. I’ve never loved anyone before her, never wanted to, but Piper is special. To know that she loves me too, it’s indescribable.

We’re a family now, and I’ve never been happier.

  About the Author

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Michelle A. Valentine is a self-professed music addict that resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, son, and one scrappy dog. When she’s not slaving away over her next novel, she enjoys expressing herself with off-the-wall crafts and trying her hand at party planning.

While in college, Michelle’s first grown-up job was in a medical office, where decided she loved working with people so much she changed her major from drafting and design to nursing. It wasn’t until her toddler son occupied the television constantly that she discovered the amazing world of romance novels. Soon after reading over 180 books in a year, she decided to dive into trying her own hand at writing her first novel, and she hasn’t looked back. After years of rejection, in 2012 she self-published Rock the Heart, her tenth full-length novel written, and it hit the New York Times. Her subsequent books have gone on to list multiple times on both the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists.
