Malak
I sweep my mate off her feet and walk away, away from the carnage, the bloodshed, the stench of death. I’ve left the Beast in charge — I trust him with my life. He’s the reason I’m here in the first place.
Without his help, I would still be stuck in that icy prison.
He will make sure all of the Xeers, the Emperors and the Archons will be locked up, and they will face the justice that they deserve. And I imagine he’s got a special kind of justice in mind for the Grand Archon.
“I can’t believe you really came back,” Emma whispers, looking up at me with those love-filled eyes I missed so much.
She’s so innocent, so pure.
Knowing what Zakra put her through makes my blood boil. For his wicked crimes he deserves to burn for all eternity. No punishment will be too severe for him.
“I apologize for having failed you,” I grit through a clenched jaw. “I should have been there to protect you. And I wasn’t. For that, I can never forgive myself.”
“Oh, shut up,” Emma replies. “You did everything you could, I’m sure of it.”
“But it wasn’t enough.”
“You’re here now. That’s all that matters.”
“I should have seen it coming,” I growl.
“If you didn’t, it’s because you’re too good a person to ever conceive of a plan so wicked and evil, so that’s still a good thing in my book,” Emma says. “And that’s final. Zakra holds no power over us.”
“You’re right, as always. What did I ever do to deserve such a kind, loving mate?”
“Hush and run us a hot bath, will you? Let’s wash all of this blood away.”
First we shower to get clean, and then we both enter the tub, her hair fanning out in the warm water. I sink in with her, our naked bodies pressed close together. I’m never letting her go again. Never.
I kiss her deeply, and all my stress fades away. As long as my tongue is on her soft lips, I am exactly where I need to be.
“There’s one thing,” Emma says, interrupting our kiss. “Zakra said he fired the beacon, that the human colony ships are on their way… was he speaking the truth?”
“I’m afraid so,” I answer. “But by the time your people arrive, the war will be over, and we will welcome them with open arms. They are free to settle on Aegon, if they so choose, and if not I will share our star-charts with you — there are many worlds suitable for your kind.”
Emma takes a deep breath. “You have no idea how happy that makes me. For a moment I thought I ruined everything, that I brought mankind itself to ruin, and…”
“Calm down, my mate. The battle is over. We have won. We can finally get to the important matters.”
“What’s that?”
“That’s me devouring your sweet juicy cunt, my human.”
I grab her butt and lift her right up out of the water. She yelps and laughs as her legs slide around my neck, her hands grabbing my horns for support. “What are you doing?!”
“Exactly what I said I’d do,” I say as I take a deep sniff of her sex. Her scent is even better from up close, a heavenly smell, to which nothing compares.
“That’s embarrassing,” she says, but she’s got nowhere to go. I’m holding her butt up easily, and I’m going to take my time exploring her delicious wetness with my tongue, inch by inch.
“This is all I ever wanted.”
I trace my tongue up her wet slit. Emma moans approvingly as she grips my horns a little tighter. I savor the taste, the texture, the scent, the everything as I lick and suck and kiss my mate.
“If — ah — all Aegir are so good at this, I think a lot of — oh — humans are going to want to settle here…” Emma moans as she breathes heavily. I love watching her body move up and down with every breath, I love watching her nose scrunch up and her eyes close and her cheeks grow redder and redder.
Nothing pleases me more than seeing her in the throes of ecstasy.
I flick my tongue against her pleasure button, the little part that makes her suck in a breath and moan my name, and seconds later her body is quivering and trembling in the sexiest way possible.
I lower her down on my lap and wrap my arms around her. She kisses me passionately.
“Th-that was… incredible,” Emma says between kisses.
“We’re only just getting stared, my yali.”
I stand up out of the water with her in my arms, her legs wrapped around my waist. My cock is placed right at her entrance. As our tongues meet I lower her down gently, my hardness spreading her wide open, one throbbing inch at a time.
“Oh damn,” she moans in my mouth. “I missed this. I missed you. I had no idea how much I missed you.”
“You’ll never have to miss me again,” I answer.
“Are we going to do this every evening?”
“And every morning.”
“Oh yes.”
“And every afternoon.”
“I don’t know if I can take that much.”
“I’ll train you,” I growl, my forehead resting against hers as I flex my blue spear inside of her. Instantly she moans.
“Oh… Yes, I’m yours, Malak, I’m yours.”
“Are you ready to receive my seed, my yali?”
“I always am,” she answers.
I like that answer.
I jackhammer myself into her, my hips a blue blur as the sounds of our love echo off the walls. I kiss her deeply, our bodies completely as one I as surrender myself to her. A cosmic orgasm has me growling her name as I come, again, and again, and again, until I have filled her up completely.
We sink back in the water, smiling, laughing, kissing.
“How’s that for a mating ceremony?” Emma says. “My word. How are you still so hard?!”
“It’s like I said, my mate. We’re only just beginning.”
Epilogue
Eight Months Later
EMMA
“How’s my favorite human doing?”
Malak kisses me on the top of my head, and he sniffs my hair. It’s a little strange, but I’ve gotten used to his idiosyncrasies by now. He says my scent soothes him. If my tall blue lover wants to sniff my hair, who am I to tell him no? To be honest, I’ve missed his scent as well…
“I’m going to have to share that title soon enough,” I say as I place my hands on my big belly.
My mate sits down next to me and covers my hand with his large paw.
“My heart is big enough for the both of you,” he says.
“It better be,” I laugh. “How was the trial?”
I wish I could attend the trial against Zakra — testifying against that slime ball would have been very cathartic — but I’m not as mobile as I once was, with the Aegir/human baby I’m carrying and all. Malak strictly forbid me from traveling all the way to Yagna for the trial, and insisted I stay in the castle as Ezra and Gada cared for me.
I didn’t really object all that much.
“Good,” Malak answers. “The Yagnan people have sentenced Zakra to a life-time of imprisonment on Neralatos. The Beast will make sure the punishment is exacted.”
“Shouldn’t we use a different name for him by now? You’re practically best friends with the guy.”
“That is what he prefers. Enough about work though — come here.”
Malak leans in and kisses me deeply, his horns brushing against me as he claims me.
“I’ve missed you, my yali.”
“I missed you, too, Malak.”
“I will never travel that far away again. From now it’s just you and me… and little Mori.”
“Mori?”
Malak nods. “That is the name that came to me in a vision.”
“You mean a dream.”
“The Goddess spoke to me, and said you’d bare me a healthy baby boy, with your eyes and my nose, and that we’d name him Mori. He will lead Nyrr, and bring peace to all of Aegon. So that is what we will do.”
“Works for me,” I say as I nuzzle his ch
eek. “But what if it’s a girl?”
“It won’t be.”
“You never know.”
“Baby number two and three will be girls. Four and five and six will be boys. Warriors, explorers, healers, leaders they will be. So the Goddess showed me.”
“Excuse me?” I stammer. “SIX?!”
“For starters. There might be more, but the vision ended there.”
“I, uh, don’t think my body can take six of these, Malak.”
“You are strong, Emma.”
“Not that strong!”
“Time will tell, my mate.”
“I guess it will,” is all I say. “Do you want to… rub my strong body for a bit? My back is killing me.”
His feline eyes light up. It never stops at back rub. Both of us know that. If anything, the pregnancy has only made him want me more. Malak can’t stop putting his hands on me, and I… I don’t mind one single bit. The healers have assured me it’s perfectly safe, as long as I’m comfortable.
And in Malak’s strong hands, I always am.
“I want nothing more, my love… but duty calls.”
“You just got back,” I whine. “Surely you’ve got a minute.”
“We both know that won’t take a minute.”
“Yeah, but still…”
“I must adress the nation, my yali. The dun mines are operating at full capacity once again, and I will use the new funds to make sure there are enough Healers for all. And I want to open the War Academy and the Healer Circle to all who want to join, not just those who are highborn.”
“You mean it?” I gasp. “That’s…”
“Exactly what you suggested. I listen, Emma. And I always fulfill my promises.”
“Okay, I’ll admit that’s a pretty good reason — but you better rush back to me the moment you’re done,” I say.
“Of course,” he growls as he kisses me deeply. “In fact, why don’t you go and cover that perfect body of yours with oil?”
I hold his head in my hands as I kiss him back, the tips of my fingers brushing against his horns. I love that about him. His horns terrified me at first, but now I think they are beautiful.
“Won’t you be thinking about my naked, oily body during your speech though? I wouldn’t want to distract you…”
“My mate, I am always thinking about your naked body. Not a single moment goes by that I wish your ass wasn’t in my hands, that my tongue wasn’t between your legs, that my spear wasn’t buried to the hilt inside of you.”
“In that case… I’ll go get ready.”
“You do that.”
Malak’s fangs brushes against my bottom lip before he departs, giving me his patented bedroom eyes. That brooding, smoldering look of his just melts me completely every single time without miss.
Life truly couldn’t be better. The future is still uncertain, but I know that we will face it together. And that gives me hope.
The most uncertain thing about my future is the colony ships Earth will have sent here by now. I’ve fulfilled my mission, I have found a new world where humanity can settle — just in a slightly different manner than I expected. Malak has ensured my that my people are free to settle on Aegon, but I have no idea what’s going to happen next. I’m worried how humanity will react when they realize they’re not alone in the universe. It’s a dangerous place — I’ve seen that firsthand.
Can humanity and the Aegir truly live together in peace?
And will the colony ships even reach Aegon safely?
Only time will tell.
The end!
