Shifter Overdrive (Paranormal Romance Boxed Set) Page 64

by Scarlett Grove

After our bath, we eat a hearty breakfast. I’m famished after so much sex. I don’t think I’ve ever done it so much in my life. I definitely have never done it with two men at the same time.

I’m wrapped in a robe, and the princes have clothing tied around their waists, their taut, tanned chests exposed. I eat my eggs, fruit and bread, gazing at their fine bodies, my own body buzzing in readiness to have them again.

There is a frantic knock at the door, and Trav stands to throw it open. Gizmel stands on the other side, his eyes wide with panic as Trav scowls at him.

“How dare you interrupt our hilock,” Trav growls.

“Sire, forgive me, please, it is an emergency,” Gizmel stutters.

“What could possibly warrant this interruption!?” he barks.

“Let the wizard speak,” Conyac says.

“Princes, the Org army is approaching from the south. They will arrive at the bridge in mere moments.”

“What? Why didn’t you warn us before?”

“I didn’t see it, sire,” Gizmel whimpers.

“There’s no time for this,” Conyac says, standing. “We will dress and be in flight, presently.”

We all hurry to put on our armor and meet in the front gardens of Castle Skyland. I see the smoke rising from the south and can hear the distant cries of the Org army.

“Will our hilock be broken?” I ask Conyac as Trav jumps into flight.

“We can pick up where we left off, princess, have no fear. Your castle will be safe, and we will become the royal triad.”

Conyac leaps into the sky, and I follow them. We fly over the land, and see the Org army approaching the suspension bridge between the mainland and Skyland.

We can’t let them pass. Skyland has no other defenses except the deep canyon. If they cross the bridge, the castle will be lost and all my loyal staff with it. There is no escape.

Trav dips low and blows his flaming breath at the bridge. It bursts into flames just as the first hordes of Org reach it. They push through the flames, screaming as they charge forward.

I let my sonic wave blast at them, and most of them fall to the ground or topple over the edge and into the canyon. Their bodies fly through the air in the endless fall to the canyon floor.

I hear the screams of the dying as the Org army crushes forward. The numbers seem to go on forever. Conyac swoops down and blasts his icy breath at the oncoming horde, but they are only replaced with another legion coming right behind them.

Trav dives to the bridge and clutches the suspension ropes with his claws, pulling with a mighty yank. The giants coming in from behind stride forward, their footsteps reverberating through the ground and air. A massive spear flies through the air and barely misses Trav as he yanks the bridge’s supports from the opposite side of the canyon.

The Orgs on the bridge tumble down the falling bridge and fall to their deaths like the last. The rest of the army is stuck on the other side. I land beside Gizmel and several of the servants, watching the Orgs screaming on the far side of the crevasse.

The princes join me where I stand. Conyac puts his arm around my waist, and I turn to duck my head into his chest. Trav places his hand on my back and lets out a long sigh.

“They are contained, for now, princess, but we can’t say for how long,” Trav says.

“They are bringing catapults forward and who knows what those giants are capable of,” Conyac adds. “We won’t have our dragon powers for another hour, and even then...”

“It looks like the entire Org army is at our door,” Trav says.

“There is a greater number still, waiting back at the mountain,” Gizmel states in a lowered voice. We all turn to the little wizard. “This is a tiny fraction of their total.”

“I cannot lose Skyland,” I say. “We must complete the hilock and defeat this scourge.”

“I couldn’t agree more, princess,” Trav says. “Let us return to your chambers and complete our bond. The power of the monarchs will run through our veins, and we will defeat our enemy with ease.”

  Chapter 26

Back in my bedchamber, I cannot stop thinking about the enemy army right beyond our border. It doesn’t make for the most romantic situation, but the princes look at me with dark, lustful eyes, and I know they aren’t going to have any problem making hilock with me tonight.

The sun is setting on the horizon, and the Org army is shooting flaming arrows over the canyon. They hit the grassy ground on the other side and burn patches in the grass. A rhythmic banging echoes through the night air, and it pounds in my brain.

“What are they doing?” I ask the princes as I try to look out the window.

“They are building a bridge,” Trav says.

I turn to him as shock burns in my face. “What? How close are they to being done?”

“We can’t tell. Perhaps a few hours.”

“Why didn’t you tell me before?”

“You needed rest, Dani. We didn’t want to rush you,” Conyac says.

“It was his idea,” Trav grumbles, crossing his arms.

“It doesn’t matter now. We have to get on with it. We were almost ready before. Since we don’t have to start over completely, let’s start where we left off. Okay?”

The princes look at me, and slow grins curl on their lips, their eyes bright with lust. I pull my nightgown off and step over to the bed. The princes are wearing dark, silk robes that they take off and let fall to the floor. I climb on the bed, not taking my eyes from them.

I see they are already hard and ready. My body buzzes with desire and longing. The fear I felt before is replaced with a bottomless pit of lust as deep as the canyon around Skyland. My entire body pulses with it. I lick my lips and show my strong teeth, my eyes shining on them.

Trav approaches first, pulling me up onto his lap as he falls on the bed, his back against the headboard. His hands grasp my behind, pulling the slit wide. He kisses me deeply, flicking his tongue in and out of my mouth as Conyac climbs on the bed behind me.

Oil drizzles down my back and between my ass cheeks. Conyac’s fingers slide between the pillows of my behind as Trav rubs my pussy on his cock. He moves from kissing my mouth to kissing my breasts, sucking and biting my hard nipples with his sharp teeth.

I’m gushing moisture even as the oil slides over my pussy and ass. Conyac pushes his finger inside my tight hole as Trav sucks on my tits and grinds against my clit with his hard cock. I groan, coming already for them as they bite and suck and penetrate me.

Conyac replaces his finger with the head of his cock and glides inside me as Trav rubs the tight mound between my legs with his thumb. My pussy clenches over his cock as it presses against my opening. Conyac pushes further inside, sinking to the base.

I quiver and moan. Conyac holds my hips tight in his hands and Trav tilts his hips back, pressing the head of his cock against my pussy. I’m ready to take them both. I’m ready to be bitten and marked as their queen.

Trav thrusts inside me as Conyac pulls back. My pussy clenches in orgasm as he enters me. My breasts are enflamed, and my nipples are like little stones that Trav traces with his long, slick tongue. He rubs my clit with his thumb as they thrust in and out of me in turn.

The sensation is better the second time, now that my body is used to accepting them. I don’t want this fullness to ever end. I adore them. I want them in all ways all the time. I am so ready to be claimed that I open my mouth and clamp my teeth down on Trav’s neck.

He groans and bucks under me, thrusting hard into my pussy. I taste his blood on my tongue, and it turns me on even more. I growl and hold the sensitive flesh of his neck between my sharp teeth. He holds me tight and grasps my hair, groaning and growling with lust.

Finally I let go as Conyac pulls my face back to kiss me. Instead of kissing him, I bite him hard on the neck, tasting his blood as I had Trav’s. He pounds into my ass as Trav pounds into my pussy. Trav rubs his hands over my body, and Conyac squeezes my breasts.

&nbs
p; I’m alive and on fire. My mind is like a universe has opened inside my brain, and my dragon is flying above me in her full glory. She is in bliss as am I. I let go of Conyac’s neck, panting as I come over and over.

I feel the princes coming close to their own climaxes and all at once, they dive into my neck on either side and clamp down on my flesh. I cry out in pleasure and agony as their sharp teeth penetrate the skin. They draw blood, and they lap it up with their tongues.

I can feel them grow stiff and wide inside me before they shoot their seed hard and fast into my depths. I come with a roar of thunder. My inner dragon lets blast her sonic boom as the power of the monarchs descends upon us all.

The last of their seed pumps inside me. With one voice, we begin to wail. Power courses through me, pumping into my veins. Inside me, my dragon seems to glow with strength, her scales shine like a shooting star, and her eyes gleam with intensity.

Trav stands, looking down at his arms and chest. Conyac begins laughing and we all stand together, in a circle, looking at each other with gleeful expressions.

“Can you feel it?” Conyac asks.

  “Yes,” I say.

Trav rubs his hands over his chest and smiles so wide I can see his gums. Blood is smeared on his lips from my neck, and my entire body throbs.

“It is done,” Trav says. “We all have the power of the monarchs now. The Org army will fall at our feet.”

  Chapter 27

We hurry into our armor and go outside. Facing the army as they send flaming arrows over the canyon, we jump into dragon form. I can feel the change instantly. Not only do I feel at one with my mortal form, I feel intensely powerful. In my gut, I know that I can use my sonic boom with only a moment’s rest.

The kings appear bigger, stronger. Their bodies glisten with a new vigor. What is most startling is that I can feel them inside my mind. The bonding has truly made us one. Conyac’s dragon voice is soft and smooth where as Trav’s is hard and sharp. I feel desire flash through me as I listen to their voices.

We have an army to crush under our feet. Just as I ascend over the canyon, I see the giants throw grappling hooks over the ravine. They scrape across the ground and hook deep into the soil. The Org army is using ropes and pulleys to traverse the canyon with a new bridge.

Conyac swoops down and burns the ropes. They crackle and break; the length goes snapping back toward its source. We lift on powerful wings and fly across the canyon. The giants reach up towards us trying to grab us out of the air, but they can’t reach. Conyac lets his icy breath blast over the first giant; the being freezes instantly, stopping in mid-step. Trav flies by and breaks the ice with his claws. The shards fall to the ground, crushing all the Org below.

We pass over the multitudes of Orgs, blasting them with sound and ice and fire. They fall before us with little resistance. The power of the monarchs makes us an indomitable force. When the last of the Org lay dead on the ground, Trav passes over them once more burning their bodies to a crisp. We fly back to Skyland and transform together on the ground.

“That was amazing,” I say breathlessly, grasping my sword. Having the continuous use of our dragon powers makes us unstoppable. I feel as if there’s nothing we can’t do. I’m ready to take on the Org army at its source. “Let’s go kick some more ass,” I say.

“You must rest, queen Dani,” Conyac says.

“Nonsense,” I say. “I’m ready to go now. Let’s go take back Castle Blackwell.”

“If Dani is ready, we should go take back Castle Blackwell now. There’s no point in waiting.”

“It’s the middle of the night,” Conyac says.

“So what?” I say. I feel myself channeling my inner dragon. There seems to be less and less distinction between us all the time. I am strong, and I am ready.

“Very well,” Conyac says. “Let us fly.”

I smile gleefully before I jump into the sky, my wing spreading out as I pump the air, ascending into the heavens. The kings fly with me, and we glide over the canyon toward Castle Blackwell. We fly faster than ever and make it to Castle Blackwell in half the time it took before.

When we arrive, the castle is blackened by flames. There is no one left there alive, not even a single Org. We descend into the burned inner courtyard and transform. The look on Conyac’s face tells me of his sorrow. I can feel his loss in my chest even in my mortal form. It pains me that his fortress has been destroyed, and his people spread to the four winds.

“I’m sorry, Conyac,” Trav says in a low voice. Conyac turns away, gripping the hilt of his sword. I know there are tears welling in his eyes as he looks on the destruction of his ancestral home. My heart hurts, but there’s nothing I can do for him.

“We will destroy them,” Conyac says, turning back to us. His blue eyes glisten with unshed tears, but his face is a mask of determination and hidden rage.

  Chapter 28

We fly through the night. The dawn breaks over the land in vibrant pinks and yellows. We stop at the mountain stream and drink our fill. I can smell the wildlife in the forest, quivering with fear at the presence of such powerful predators.

My hunting instincts and the hunger in my belly drive me into the forest. The kings follow, knowing my intention. We are all ready for a little diversion and a nice juicy steak. We stalk into the forest, crouching low and sniffing the air. I smell a den of wild boar and pounce forward. I put my snout at the opening of their den and blast a sonic boom.

The boar inside fall dead instantly. Too easy. Next time I’ll hunt in my mortal form for the challenge. We shift and prepare a fire to roast the meat. We’ll need a rest from the flight and fighting and fucking for days on end.

I pull a strip of bacon from the roasting pit, and lean back against the mossy rock and eat the juicy meat. The kings are enjoying themselves, and I smile at my mates as the delicious flavor runs over my tongue.

“It’s another day’s flight to the dark mountain,” Trav says between bites. “We’ll have to make camp and get a good night’s sleep before we take the Orgs at their source.”

“Agreed,” Conyac says. We finish up our meat, put out the fire, and jump back into the air.

Flying over the land, I feel a new kinship with Endor. I’ve never seen this much of the planet, coming from Earth. It feels good and right that I should take ownership of my land in this way. I am queen. I should know my country.

In the distance, smoke curls on the horizon, rising into the air and choking out the sun. I ask the kings what it is through our mental link. They don’t have any better idea than I do. We all assume the same thing: Orgs.

As we draw closer, we see the burning remains of what used to be an Endorian village. My heart contracts, knowing that my people have been butchered and displaced by the brutal army of Orgs. They must be stopped. They must be stopped now.

We land in the midst of the burning village and transform. Each of us curses the devastation, and we stand in a circle, exchanging glances.

“Enough is enough,” Trav says. “I will not see another village burned.”

“We have only a few hours until nightfall,” Conyac says. “We won’t make it much further this evening.”

“Not unless we fly all night,” I say.

“We must sleep to be in top form to take the on army forming at the dark mountain,” Trav says. “I’ve seen the visions in Gizmel’s scrying pool. The Org are born and armored with each passing second. Each Org we kill will be instantly replaced. To defeat such and enemy, we must be well rested.”

  “I agree,” says Conyac.

“Let us find a place to make camp and fill our bellies before we sleep,” Trav says.

“All right, fine. We’ll sleep. And before we sleep, we bond,” I say winking at them before I take to the sky.

We fly on swift wings across the land until the sun begins to dip low in the west. Trav gestures to a stand of trees beside a stream, and we land amongst the boughs. Conyac goes to find food while Trav lights a fire, and I bu
sy myself finding soft bedding for us to sleep on tonight.

I spread branches on the ground and cover them with sweet-smelling leaves and dried moss. Conyac returns with an armful of wild lettuce and a clutch of rabbits that we roast over the blazing fire that Trav has prepared.

We eat the bounty and speak of our determination to see the scourge gone from our land. As night falls, the flames flicker in the darkness. Fatigue descends over my eyes and body.

“I’m ready for bed, my kings,” I say, yawning.

“We will join you, lady,” Conyac says helping me to my feet.

We all climb into the bed I’ve made, and the kings snuggle in on either side of me. Their warm bodies press against mine, and I feel the comfort of knowing both these men adore me as much as I adore them.

We remove our armor, piece by piece, and lay naked together in bed. My proud kings are erect as soon as our ready flesh makes contact. Lips and tongues, mouths and teeth, we kiss and bite and worship each other. I reach down, take both men’s erections in my hands, and stroke them up and down. Their mouths move over my body like velvet fabric. Conyac runs his hand between my legs, pressing my clit in tight little circles while Trav squeezes my breasts and pinches my nipples. Conyac’s tongue is deep in my mouth, and Trav is sucking my neck.

Even after a day of flying, I want them so badly my body is pulsing and ready to take them in whatever way they want to have me. The kings push me up on all fours with Conyac behind me and Trav in front of me. Trav guides my mouth down around his thick shaft. Conyac rubs his cock between my legs, spreading my juices over his firm shaft.

I moan as Trav sinks down my throat. Conyac pushes against my pussy from behind and slips slowly inside. He flicks my clit with his fingers, and I’m already coming. We move in our own perfect rhythm. The intensity of our lovemaking is like wild animals imbued with supernatural power. We come together in a blinding fury of throbbing need.
