All In: Calling His Bluff (Gambling With Love) Page 13

by Hart, Lane

Our mouths collided, tongues searching and desperate. I worked my hips up and down on the incredible feeling of his cock until the pleasure was ripped from me, taking me higher than I'd ever been. Just as the last wonderful shudder left my body I heard the elevator outside the apartment ding.

"Oh shit," Dylan muttered, a second before the knock on the door. Then it sounded like a key was being used in the lock.

"Who has a freaking key?" I asked him frantically.

"Housekeeper, cook. Mom and Dad," he said, before the door opened. I scrambled off his lap to lower myself as deep as I could in the bubbles. There were no towels in sight, and not a single shred of clothing from here to the bedroom.

"Dylan? You home?" his dad called out.

"Shit," Dylan muttered. He moved to sit his big body in front of mine a second before his dad came around the foyer and found us.

"How the hell did you get that big ass hot tub up here?" Daniel Daughtry asked.

Wearing a white polo shirt with his company's logo and slacks, it was obvious where Dylan got his lean frame and height from. Hell, their hair was even the same, except his dad's had streaks of grey mixed with the blonde.

"Hi, Dad. I'm going to have to ask you to give me my key back," Dylan told him.

"Yeah, that wasn't your smartest decision ever, son, but you've never had any girls up here before. Hey, Jules," he said, like there wasn't anything unusual or awkward going on.

  "Hi, Mr. Daughtry."

"Jules, even if I hadn't known you for years, you're naked in a hot tub with my son. I think it'd be fine for you to just call me Dan," he said with a chuckle.

"What do you want, Dad?" Dylan ran a hand over his face and asked with an exasperated sigh.

"Be nice or I'll find someone else to take these tickets," he said, pulling the rectangular pieces of paper from his back pocket.

"What tickets?" Dylan asked, sitting up a little straighter.

"Wildcats home game Sunday. You wouldn't want them would you?"

  "Hell yes I want them!"

"Thought so. I'll put them on the counter and get out of here."

"Ah, well, while you're here would you mind getting us some towels?" Dylan asked. His dad laughed and headed down the hall, returning with two big, plush towels. I cringed knowing he'd just seen our clothes, including my bra and panties, strewn all over the bedroom floor, and the sheets all messy from our recent romp.

"I take it that since you're still alive that Will doesn't know about you two?" he asked Dylan when he returned and tossed the towels over to the floor near the tub.

  "That would be correct."

"Well, your secret's safe with me. Just don't let your mom find out or she'll put it on Facebook, then the world will know."

"Thanks," Dylan said. "And thanks for the tickets."

"Sure. You kids have fun. Good seeing you, Jules. I mean talking to you, not seeing you. Hell, you know what I mean," he said in a fluster, then he was out the door, locking it from the outside.

"That was awkward," I said into the silence.

"He's right, at least it was him and not my mom. We would have never gotten rid of her. Now where were we?" Dylan asked, turning around and pulling me back onto his lap. "Oh, yeah, you were fucking me bareback."

We picked up where we’d left off, and I must have still been high on endorphins, because after our joint shower I stupidly agreed to spend the night with him again.

  Chapter Ten

  Dylan

I had a dilemma I'd never faced before. Who do I ask to go to the game with me on Sunday? My best friend or my girlfriend, who happened to be my best friend's sister? Although, Jules wasn't technically my girlfriend, yet.

I knew Will loved football and would give anything to go, but I wanted Jules to come with me. Spending a whole weekend out of town with her would be awesome. And then there was the voice in my head that said if she stayed here and I took Will, she could possibly end up at a party with some other jackass like Nick or Nate, or whatever the hell his name was. Shit, but if I take her then I'll have to figure out how to tell Will. He'd never believe I was taking some casual fuck to a game, and he'd question Jules disappearance as well.

Hell, Jules may not even want to go. That settled it. I'd ask her, and if she didn't want to go I'd take Will. I found "Big Booty" in my phone, smiling like I always did when I saw the ridiculous name in my contact list, and called her.

"Hey, Dylan," she thankfully answered. I’d been afraid she’d go back to ignoring my calls again.

"Hey. What'd you change my name to in your phone?" I asked, curious.

"Ah, BDD." It took me a second since I knew it wasn't quite my initials, then it hit me, making me laugh. "Awesome. So what are you doing Sunday?"

"Oh, I've got mandatory rush events on Saturday night and Sunday. Why?" Damn that sucked.

"I was going to see if you wanted this other ticket to Sunday's game, and if you couldn't go I was going to ask Will."

"Oh, thanks! I'd rather go with you than do this shit, but I guess I have to suck it up."

"Yeah, and I know Will would like to go. I kind of feel bad for blowing him off for the last week."

"Yeah, and for fucking his sister behind his back," she added.

  "Well, that too," I said.

"So are you coming to the Sig party Saturday night?" she asked.

  "Yeah, if you're going."

"I have to. See you at lunch tomorrow?" she asked.

"Sure, unless you want to come over tonight?" I asked, hopeful.

"I would, but I've already told my parents I'd eat dinner with them."

"Oh, okay. Then I'll see you tomorrow at lunch. Bye, Jules."

After she hung up I called her brother.

"Hey, what's up? You actually come up for air?" Will asked.

"Yeah, had to some time. So what are you doing Sunday afternoon?"

  "Watching the game of course."

"You want to see it in Charlotte from the front row of the stadium, instead of on TV?"

  "Fuck yeah! You've got tickets?"

"Yeah, my dad gave them to me."

  "Lucky bastard."

"I know, they are pretty sweet."

"So what's the plan for tomorrow and Saturday night?"

"Um," I could see if Jules would come home with me tomorrow, and then let Will go with us to the party. "Sig party Saturday, I think. Wanna come?"

"Hell yes. I just hope it goes better than last weekend,” he said. “So what are you up to tonight?"

  "Not a damn thing."

"I'm going to eat with the family. You want to come with me, and then go play some pool later?" he asked. A chance to see Jules? Hell yes, even if I couldn't touch her.

"Yeah, sounds good. Pick me up when you're ready."

"Are you still taking the bus to school every day?" he asked.

  "I took my bike yesterday."

"Such a fucking waste of money to let your car and bike sit in the garage."

"You know how it is when I take them out. It's just not worth the hassle."

"Yeah, I know, gold diggers suck. I have no idea how you deal with the goddamn burden of having women try to fuck you because you're rich. You poor thing."

"Fuck you. At least when the occasional rare woman agrees to go out with you, you know she doesn't have ulterior motives."

"If they're only using you, then what's the harm in using them to get laid then send them on their way?"

"Maybe I'm tired of having meaningless and absolutely mediocre flings." After being with Jules I couldn't imagine dating or screwing women randomly. Although in a way, Jules was using me too. For experience. Goddamn it.

"Holy shit! This new girl has already got you pussy whipped."

"When it's this fucking good it's worth being whipped," I said defensively, without thinking.

Will laughed. "How good is it then? I'm dying to hear how this chick blows all the rest out of the water."

I thought it over, deciding he'd neve
r find out about me and Jules. Why not share how amazing it'd been? It was too good not to share. "She let me fuck her on the elevator while a random man watched us."

"Jesus fucking Christ. That is hot. Now you've got to give me more details."

I sighed, weighing my words. "I said a few things to make it clear that was my plan, so when the doors opened I asked if he was coming or going and he stayed. She went along with it. I raised her dress and fucked her from behind while the man got himself off. Then ah, I went down on her. The guy asked her to go down on me and she dropped to her knees. He jerked off again. We all left very satisfied."

"Goddamn. No wonder you're whipped. That is fucking insane. Does this girl have any equally freaky friends?"

"Not that I know of, but I'll ask." Never.

"You should write that in to Playboy. I'll never look at an elevator the same way again. Wait, was this in your building?"

  "Uh-huh."

"With one of your tenants?" he asked.

"Yep. Guy on the sixteenth floor."

"Is he going to be joining you two again in the future?"

"She mentioned she'd like for him to come up to my apartment sometime."

"Damn. That is crazy. What other freaky shit have you two done?"

"Ah, we fucked six times that night, and the last time I may have fucked her in a parking lot."

  "In a car?"

  "No. Against it."

"Holy shit. Out in the open and everything?"

"Uh-huh. I had to, ah, cover her mouth to keep her from giving us away."

"Wow. That is … there are no words. I will never again say anything about you being pussy whipped. I'd worry if you weren't, after all that."

  "Uh-huh."

"It's a damn shame you have to hang out with me and my family instead of her tonight."

  "It's fine. She had plans."

"Okay, so I'll come pick you up in an hour?"

  "Sure. See you then."

I ran a hand over my face. Juggling a double life is hard work.

  Chapter Eleven

  Jules

"Hey guys, I'm home," I called out to my parents and brother, after I saw his truck in the driveway. Referring to this house as home had felt strange ever since I left for college. Even if I only have a closet size dorm room on campus, and my room is the same as I left it here, it didn’t feel like my home any longer. I couldn't help but feel a little sad about that realization.

"Hi, baby girl. Good timing, we just sat down to eat," my mom called back.

I headed to the dining room and stopped abruptly when I noticed we had a guest. Dylan. Although, it shouldn't have come as a surprise. If Will was here, Dylan was usually with him. When they were in school Dylan ate dinner with us almost every night. I couldn't really blame him. His mom was a great lady but a terrible cook.

Our guest's lips lifted into a smile, but he didn't look up at me. He could have at least sent me a text, warning me he'd be here.

"Hi, sweetie," my dad said, pulling me from my frozen state. "How's school?"

"Good. How have you all been?" I asked. I took my seat across from the man responsible for making my real life erotic fantasies come true, before I even knew I had them.

"Same old here. Work is keeping us busy, as always," my mom said. She was a high school science teacher and my dad was a middle school English teacher. Both had jobs they loved, but just didn't pay all that well. They'd both been on the doctoral track in college when they found out they were pregnant with Will. So, they decided to drop out to get jobs instead of finishing school. "Mashed potatoes?" she asked.

"Sure, thanks." The hamburger steak, macaroni, and green beans were passed around quietly, then we all started eating.

"Did you tell Mom and Dad you're joining a sorority?" Will asked. I narrowed my eyes at him for tattling on me like we were kids.

"A sorority? Really, Jules?" my mom asked with heavy skepticism.

"That doesn't seem like your sort of thing," my dad added.

"Yeah, I'm thinking about rushing Tri Sig. It'll be a good way to meet new people, you know?"

"Well, don't party too hard, sweetie," my dad joked.

"Right, 'meet new people,'" Will snorted. "Jules wants to 'meet new people' like the random asshole she stayed with Saturday night," he told them, and I contemplated stabbing him with the fork in my hand. I forced my eyes to not to even glance in Dylan's direction.

"Jules? Our little Jules spent the night with some random guy?" my mom asked in shock.

"For Christ's sake, I'm not some delicate little flower or virgin saint. And how many random girls have you stayed with, Will?" I asked.

  "That's different. I'm older and I'm a guy."

"What does being male have to do with anything? And I'll be twenty in a month."

"I can't be taken advantage of," he said simply, shoveling in a fork full of food.

"He didn't take advantage of me. Believe it or not, I am capable of making decisions for myself."

"Will, leave your sister alone. The pot shouldn't call the kettle black," my dad chided him.

"What about you, Dylan? You seeing anyone special?" my mom asked. I held my breath as I shoveled a fork full of … something into my mouth. I wasn't sure if I wanted him to say no, to avoid raising suspicion, or yes, to validate we were more than just an arrangement.

"Yeah, actually. I just started seeing someone," he said. I could hear the smile in his voice. Fireworks exploded in my stomach.

"When I called him out for already being whipped by some sorority girl, he actually admitted it and said she's worth it," Will chimed in, shaking his head. "The only reason he's here tonight is because she had plans. I've never seen him so strung out over a girl he just met."

Was that right? I ordered my lips not to smile as I stared down at my plate. I had to bite my bottom one to make sure it obeyed, since it was trying really hard to lift up in the corners. He'd told Will that I was worth being whipped?

Uh-oh. Why did everyone get quiet all of a sudden?

I looked up, but Will kept right on eating. My mom and dad though both had the same frozen expression on their faces, with slack jaws. It was a knowing expression, and one that had their gazes going back and forth between me and Dylan, then to each other. Shit, the jig was up.

I ordered my face not to blush, and it completely ignored me. So I swallowed some liquid sitting in front of me, not really tasting it, to try and cool down.

"Jules, you feeling okay?" my mom asked.

I choked on my drink. "I'm fine," I said, then cringed, figuring they knew those words as a lie, just as Dylan did.

"Really? You look feverish. And you've been here for almost ten minutes and haven't taunted Dylan even once. That has to be some sort of record, right Dylan?"

Oh God. She knew, and was going to call us out in front of Will! Didn't she know how pissed he'd be at Dylan when he dumped me? It'd ruin their friendship! Luckily someone's phone started ringing. Saved by the freaking bell.

It was Will's. "I'm on call so I've got to take it," he said, putting his fork down to go answer it in the living room. Will was an IT guy, so someone's network probably just crashed. Thank God.

"So, Dylan, Jules…anything you two want to tell us?" my dad asked.

I finally peeked up at Dylan who was watching me. Seeing his grin, I couldn't help my own. I guess he was accepting that denial was a lost cause, but I sure as hell wasn't going to tell them anything else.

"Nope. Nothing from me. How about you, Dylan?" I asked.

  He shook his head. "Nope."

"Uh-huh," my mom said with a laugh, then she turned to my dad. "Our son might need to visit his eye doctor, dear. He must be going blind to miss something so obvious."

My dad laughed right as Will came back to the table.

  "What'd I miss?" he asked.

"Honey, when was the last time you've seen the eye doctor?" my mom asked with a smile. I tried not to laugh. Dylan turned his into a cough.

"A few months ago, why?" Will asked with a confused expression.

  "Just wondering."

"Am I missing something?" he asked, seriously.

"Nope. Nothing at all," my dad responded.

"So Jules, when are we going to meet this guy you've been seeing?" my mom asked.

"Oh, I really don't want to subject him to this family just so you all can give him a hard time."

"I want to meet him," Will spoke up and said.

"Yeah, you should introduce him to Will, Jules. They might become really good friends." My dad thought he was being funny now. Dylan's snicker wasn't helping.

"Doubtful, especially if he's anything like that douche you dated in high school," Will said.

"Oh, he's nothing like Aaron, that's for sure," I told him.

"So what is he like, sweetie?" my mom asked, and I gave her a look that said she had to be freaking kidding me.

"Yeah Jules, what is he like?" Will mimicked.

"Ah … he's short," I lied, with the first thing that came to mind as the opposite of Dylan.

"What?" my mom asked. "But I thought you've always had a thing for tall guys?"

I gave my mom a look that said this game was growing old. She pursed her lips, barely suppressing her laugh. "What about you, Dylan? Tell us about the girl you're dating," she said between bites of dinner.

I let myself look over at him, since everyone else was waiting for his response. He grinned as he leaned his big, muscular upper body back in his chair and stretched. Putting his hands casually behind his head raised his shirt, showing a sneak peek at his sexy stomach. The man looked too damn good to be real. "Well, she's gorgeous, of course. Extremely smart. So freaking hilarious," he said, glancing quickly at me before looking back at my parents.

"She sounds like a keeper," my mom said, then I heard her sniff before she started taking bowls back to the kitchen. Oh Lord, we've made the woman cry.

"Apparently she also has a fetish for elevators and parking lots too," my brother laughed, and I knew my face had just created an all new color of bright red. He told him! Well, it was pretty awesome, and I'd already shared both stories with my roommate. Dylan groaned and swiped a hand over his face, and my dad cleared his throat. Oh shit, I didn't want my dad knowing all that!
