Chapter Fifteen
“Are you coming with us?” Roxanne asked.
Sebastian tried to focus on what she was saying, but it was hard. All he could think about was what Lexi had gone through and the fact that Michael didn't know he had a son. How was he going to tell him? How would he react when he knew? He shook his head. He wasn’t ready to deal with any of those questions, until he got used to the idea that his nephew didn't have any living relative besides his uncles and father left. How did she manage to raise a baby alone? She probably wasn’t alone, because her friends would have helped her. That he was sure of.
“Where are you going?” Sebastian asked.
“I’m going food shopping with Zach.”
He nodded. “Sure, but I’ll have to go home for a shower and a change of clothes. How about I drive?”
She hesitated for a little while. “I suppose. Let me take a shower and I’ll be down after I get dressed.”
She headed for the stairs and few minutes later he heard the shower turn on. You would have thought that since he was still recovering from shock, his dick would stay still until he sorted things out in his head. But no, the damn thing jumped to attention like it had seen its favorite candy.
Not that he could blame his cock for responding to the image he conjured of Roxanne naked and wet under the shower. His cock grew harder. He had to distract himself somehow and he knew how, for his sake he hoped God forgave him for using his nephew as a distraction.
“How old are you, Zach?”
“Four. How old are you?”
If doing twenty questions is my payback for using my nephew as a distraction for not having any control over my anatomy, I will gladly take it.
“I'm thirty-four. What do you like to do for fun, Zach?”
His face lit up and immediately Sebastian thought he was in for it now. Though he didn't mind; as long as he got to know his nephew it was fine.

Roxanne stepped out of the shower and dried off, and then padded to her room with the towel wrapped firmly around her body. The phone rang as she got near to the bed; she picked it up on the second ring.
“Hello.”
“It’s Lexi. I wanted to know if I could talk to Sebastian, please.”
“Sure, give me a minute.”
She wanted so bad to find a robe so she was better protected from Sebastian, but she couldn’t waste any time looking for it. Besides, Sebastian wouldn’t make any moves on her with a four-year-old present. That she was sure of.
She was half way down the stairs when she heard Zach giggling. She smiled. When she reached the kitchen she saw Sebastian tickling Zach.
He would make a great father, she thought before she quickly shoved it away.
“Sebastian, phone.”
He looked up, desire sparkling in his eyes as he took in her attire. She gulped, clutching the towel as she gave him the phone. He took it, making his finger linger a little too long on hers for her peace of mind. She was about to head back upstairs when Sebastian stopped her.
“Wait for it.”
He put the phone to his ear. “Hello.”
Roxanne watched his face and whatever Lexi said to him made him look torn, she wanted to go to him and give a hug and a kiss.
She knew she was being inquisitive, but she couldn’t help it. If she knew Lexi—and she did—she was probably asking Sebastian not to tell Michael about Zach. It was probably hard for Sebastian to know that his brother had a son he didn’t know about and not tell him. If she was in Lexi’s shoes, she would have done the same thing. No one wanted to be the reason for the failed marriage of someone else. And no matter how angry Lexi was at Michael she wouldn’t make his life miserable, if he was happy in Texas.
“It will be hard—” she heard Sebastian say then he sighed and continued. “But I understand and, even though I don't approve, I promise I will not tell Michael about Zach and I’ll make the others promise too.”
He was listening again to whatever Lexi was saying, but after a while he asked, “What did you mean earlier, when you said my brothers and I are the only blood relatives Zach has?”
He was silent as he waited for Lexi’s answer. “I already asked her and she changed the subject.”
Roxanne eyes widened. Why was Lexi telling him to ask her? Was it still hurting her, when she thought about how her family abandoned her, when she had needed them the most?
“Okay.”
He stretched the phone toward her. “She wants to talk to you.”
She took the phone suddenly feeling like she was walking on pins and needles. “Yes.”
“Can you tell him about my family, please?”
She squeezed her eyes closed and sighed. “Sure.”
Roxanne knew if Lexi talked about it she would cry even if she didn't mean to, but that’s who she was and no matter how Lexi tried to hate the people who hurt her in the past, she couldn’t. Nevertheless Roxanne, Ava and Kira would always love Lexi even if she decided to turn into a bitter harpy over night.
“Thank you. I’ll call later to talk to Zach, I'm about to board the plane, bye.”
Roxanne looked pointedly at Zach then at Sebastian then said, “I’ll tell you about it later.”
Sebastian nodded and she left, wanting to go back to the safety of her room to stop the need Sebastian was stirring inside her with his eyes. Inside the safety of her bedroom, she took off the towel, rubbed lotion onto her skin and began dressing. Few minutes later she headed back downstairs after combing her hair.
Once downstairs, she went to the kitchen, wondering if Sebastian and Zach were still there. The kitchen was empty. She was about to call them when she heard laughter coming from the living room so she went there. Neither of them knew she was there until she talked.
“I'm ready now.”
“Where are we going, Auntie Roxanne?” Zach asked.
“I'm going food shopping. Do you want to come?”
“If I come will I get to ride in the cart?”
“Sure.”
“Ok, I’ll come. Is he coming too?”
“You mean Sebastian?”
He nodded.
“Yes, but he’ll be the one pushing the cart.”
Zach laughed as he nodded.
“I already put his car seat in the back of my car and if you’re ready we can go.” Sebastian picked up Zach in his arms, turned the television off and went out the front door. Roxanne followed behind.

“What do you want to eat, Zach?” Roxanne asked.
Their day had gone better than he’d thought it would. After they’d left her house they’d gone to his. He’d given them a tour. His house wasn’t that big, but Roxanne had told him it was and it was beautiful and that had made his heart swell. It had five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a huge kitchen and pantry, two offices, a pool, gym, game room and a theatre. He’d left them in the living room and went to shower. He hadn't wanted them to wait too long, so he showered and dressed quickly then returned downstairs half an hour later.
They’d left for the supermarket about three minutes after that. The supermarket wasn’t crowded like he’d thought it would be. When they got back to her house it was around eight. She put away the groceries, declining his help when he’d offered.
In the past whenever the woman Sebastian was dating began talking about children he would start feeling queasy and getting an insane urge to run. But picturing a house full of his and Roxanne’s children gave him an instant erection instead and he became breathless at the thought of Roxanne’s stomach growing with his child.
Truth was, Sebastian wanted to marry Roxanne, but convincing her wouldn’t be easy. He didn't mind though; he loved a challenge. Besides, at the end of the day, he would have her in his life forever and that was all that mattered.
“Can we have pizza? Please, Auntie Roxanne,” Zach pleaded.
She smiled and nodded. She was really great with Zach and she would be great with any children she
had in the future. The only children he wanted growing in her womb were his and it would happen, as soon as he was able to convince her that a relationship with him wasn’t the worst thing in the world.
Chapter Sixteen
Roxanne walked slowly up the stairs as she thought about earlier.
Taking care of a four-year-old with zilch in the experience department wasn’t as hard as she’d assumed; however having Sebastian with her made it easier. After ordering a pizza for dinner she’d given Zach a bath as they waited. At the end of their meal when Sebastian offered to do the dishes, Roxanne had accepted his help then left to finish getting Zach ready for bed. Sometime later, after Lexi called and talked with Zach for a little while, he finally fell asleep. Sebastian had smiled and joked that, although Zach was tired, he’d refused to succumb to sleep until he heard from his mother.
Roxanne had smiled and nodded in agreement.
She turned the shower on to an acceptable temperature, stripped off her clothes and stepped under the water. She didn't know how long she was under there for, but a hand around her waist made her realize that she wasn’t alone. A muffled shriek escaped before she heard a chuckle.
“I'm sorry I startled you. I’d said I was going to finish what we started, but if you don't want to, tell me to leave.”
“Stay,” she said and prayed she wouldn’t regret her rather impulsive decision.
“You don't know how happy you just made me.”

Sebastian knew he had to inform Roxanne about the situation with Ashley, but he hadn’t wanted to go to her. Seeing her naked would make his resolve about letting her come to him crumble. Hence the reason he followed behind her an hour after she went upstairs. He’d thought that was enough time for her to shower, dressed and be in bed before he went to talk to her. No such luck.
Instead, he’d arrived in the middle of her shower. One minute he was trying to leave, next his feet were carrying him to the bathroom.
He saw her standing under the shower with her face turned up, breasts thrust out in silent offering. His cock responded immediately. When he’d asked her permission to join her in the shower, he was thinking about ways to convince her to let him, if she had declined. To say her answer surprised him was an understatement, not that he wasn’t happy she wanted him to stay. But the fact that she didn't hesitate with her answer delighted him. He wanted to lick and explore every part of her body, but right now he felt like he was about to explode, so that would wait until later.
“This is going to be fast. Next time I’ll go slower.”
“Not too slow I hope.”
Sebastian smiled before capturing her mouth in a heated kiss, swallowing her moans as he checked her readiness. She was soaked. He released her mouth, licking the evidence of her from his fingers, loving the way her eyes darkened as she watched. He guided his cock to her opening and pushed until he was seated to the hilt. He groaned through gritted teeth to keep from moving before she got used to his size and hoped he wouldn’t embarrass himself.
“Wrap your legs around me. No noise. We wouldn’t want Zach coming up here.”
He started moving as he lowered his head, taking a nipple in his mouth and cutting off her nod of agreement as she moaned, before clamping her mouth shut at his raised brows. She was so tight and he knew he wouldn’t last much longer in her wet heat. One hand held on to her waist as the other found her clit and rubbed it. Her scream was muffled by his shoulder and as she bit him the same time her pussy tightened around him as her orgasm washed through her.
His groan of completion was muffled by her breast as he climaxed.
They were breathing hard, though it didn't stop him from chuckling when she mumbled something that sounded like, “Let’s do it again after resting.” He eased out of her as she unhooked her legs from his waist. When he was sure he could stand properly without his legs failing him, he washed and rinsed himself and then her before leaving the bathroom with her in his arms.
“Is it always like that for you?”
“No. What about you?”
Her brows furrowed. “Never, not even with my ex-fian—” she stopped abruptly.
He was tempted to ask her to finish, but he knew she wasn’t ready so he changed the subject.
“Ashley was watching my house Thursday.” He hadn’t wanted to ruin the mood by telling her now, but it had to be done.
“What?”
He took a deep breath, then told her everything, not leaving anything out. He tried to calm his wildly beating heart as he waited for her to say something that would break the sudden nerve-racking silence that had descended. “I'm sorry I got you involved in this. I swear I didn't know it would turn out like this when I asked for your help. I thought that after she saw us together as a couple, she would finally understand I meant it when I told her I didn't want a relationship that wasn’t work-related with her.”
She sighed. “It’s okay. Besides, how could you have known she would've acted this way?”
He nodded but didn't respond.
“Are you ready to tell me about Lexi’s family?” he said.
She grimaced. “Do you know anything about Parker Chase?” she said.
He nodded and wondered what that had to do with Lexi. “Yes. He owns hotels in twenty-four states and two countries. Why?”
“Parker Chase is her father.” She shook her head when he opened his mouth.
“Her mother, brother and sister had never loved her as a family should and I don't know why. Two months after your brother left she found out that she was pregnant. She thought that her family would’ve at least helped her. Instead her mother told her to abort the baby. When she refused, her mother disowned her and turned the rest of the family against her—her sister and brother already hated her so that didn't take too much effort. They called her a few choice names I’d rather not repeat and stopped paying her college tuition. One week later she legally changed her surname and never spoke to or of them again.”
Sebastian felt like he’d swallowed a rock, and then he suddenly felt like paying her parents a visit and introducing them to his fist. Weren’t fathers supposed to love and protect their daughters no matter what? And how could a mother treat the child she brought into the world like that?
He was sorry for all the bad things that happened to Lexi. If he’d known that Michael had gotten her pregnant, he would have helped her whether his brother knew or not.
“What does she do now?”
“She’s a surgeon.”
“How did she manage that with a baby on the way?”
“She was messed up after what your brother and her family did. So Ava, Kira and I took her, well dragged her to Vegas is a better way of putting it. We were trying to cheer her up when we made her promise to try one game at the casino before we left her alone. She played and won a lot of money. After returning home, she paid for her education and took care of Zach. It was hard, but she lived with Ava, and Kira and I helped when we could.”
“How long have you all been friends?”
“Since high school. When her mother found out about us being Lexi’s friends she tried to get Lexi to stop being friends with us. As it turned out, we’re more of a family to her than her real one.”
He nodded. “I'm sorry for the things she’s been through. If I could, I would've changed the way my brother hurt her, but not for having Zach. He’s a sweet little boy and I'm glad she didn't listen to her mother.”
She nodded. He stroked her back softly, listening to her breathing as it began coming out shallow. Sebastian felt his cock twitch and he groaned. His prick was getting greedy but Roxanne needed her sleep and there was always tomorrow. As soon as the thought crossed his mind he heard her snoring softly. Sebastian chuckled. Suddenly he went rigid as a thought occurred to him; he hadn’t used a condom. Ever since he began engaging in sexual activity he had never failed to use a condom. Sebastian wasn’t mad; no, it was the opposite. He was glad because he wanted her to conceive and
he was hoping for it. A little of his euphoria fled as he wondered how Roxanne would feel when he told her?
* * * *
Roxanne woke to Sebastian eating her like his favorite treat. She was barely able to stifle her scream as her orgasm took her by surprise. He crawled up her body, entering her in one smooth thrust, moving immediately after he was seated to the hilt. She wasn’t lying last night when she said sex was never that good before with anyone. Not even Daniel. She wrapped her legs around his waist, urging him to move faster. He complied. It didn't take long for her to come and he followed swiftly after, stifling his groan against her breast.
“That’s a nice way to wake up,” she said breathlessly.
He chuckled. “I don't want to leave, but I have to before Zach wakes up.”
She stiffened before relaxing a little. She was shocked to admit even to herself that good—well great sex was enough to make her forget that a four-year-old was sleeping in one of her guest rooms downstairs. Great sex or not, it still shouldn’t have made her forget that her guest was only a child.
“Okay, I’ll just shower then start breakfast.”
He nodded and kissed her softly before leaving.
Chapter Seventeen
As soon as Sebastian returned to his room, he showered and shaved. Last night had been incredible, but he wanted more and he knew for a fact that Roxanne wasn’t ready for that admission from him. However, he wasn’t pleased with the fact that he didn't get to lick and explore her slowly like he’d wanted to.
On his way to the kitchen he promised himself that he would do that tonight, even if it meant little sleep. An hour later Roxanne and Zach arrived. It still amazed him how much Zach looked like Michael. Speaking of Michael, he had to tell the others before they found out some other way.
“Morning, Zach,” he said.
“Morning, Auntie Roxanne’s friend,” he replied.
