My Baby Is a West Coast King Page 4

“Shai, baby,” she whimpered. Sammi’s dick sucking skills may have been mediocre, but her pussy was an overachiever for sure. “Oh, oh, fuck,” she called out, every time my dick slammed into her.

She was sopping wet, and the sound alone of me beating it up was enough to make me nut. Smacking her ass, I grasped it tightly into my hands and held her cheeks apart, as I pulverized her center. The condom was glistening, and I could feel her gushing on me whenever she hit the base of my dick.

“Mm,” I moaned very subtly. Wasn’t often that I did, but due to how drenched she was, the feeling was low-key indescribable. I ain’t know if she was trying to make a nigga lock her down or what, but shit was feeling different tonight.

Her body trembled when she came for the third time, so I held her hips tightly and began pounding her pussy like it stole from me. All you heard was our skin smacking, and the sound of my dick thrusting into her wet walls. A few pumps later, she was spilling her nectar again, and I was filling the condom up.

We sat there panting for a little while, before I finally pulled out and went to flush the condom. I returned with some warm towels so we could clean up, and afterwards, we washed our hands before returning to my big ass bed.

“Shai, I just want you to know that I love you, and I’m willing to wait until you’re ready for us. I know you’re scared, but I promise I can make you happy, daddy,” Sammi assured me as she laid on my chest, caressing my abs.

Again, I declined to respond as I drifted off to sleep. She nor any other bitch would ever be able to call me their nigga, and that shit wasn’t changing any time soon.

  ***

  Later that morning… A little after 11am…

“Belgian waffles, your favorite,” Sammi beamed as I walked into the kitchen, freshly cleaned and dressed.

“Thanks.” I took a seat at my table, trying to ignore the fact that I knew she was about to be pushing us being in a relationship nonstop.

“You look too sexy to be going and meeting some bitches, Shai. You better make sure they keep their hands to themselves.” She sat down at the table with a plate of her own. I said nothing because she knew better. It was actually comical that she thought she had a say so in any part of my life. The most authority she had over me was what I ate, like these waffles right here. “You heard me, Shai?”

“Sammi, kill all that shit. You ain’t my girl and you know I fuck other bitches, so stop it.”

I always tried my hardest to keep the crazy Shai at bay when I was in the presence of females, but they made the shit hard as fuck. I was a crazy ass nigga, on some certified shit, and these bitches just liked to poke and poke until I blew the fuck up and mangled their asses. Only reason I was able to somewhat keep calm at this point in my life was because my aunt made me see a psychotherapist, who kind of taught me how to control my temper. Usually, I would have been choking Sammi’s stupid ass up a wall by now, just for not shutting the fuck up and letting me eat in peace.

“I told you I don’t like hearing about other girls!” she screeched.

I closed my eyes for a second, took a deep breath, and counted down from ten silently, as I kept my right hand wrapped around my fork and my left in my pocket. One of my techniques was occupying my hands because it sometimes helped me not use them.

“Aight, I’m gone. Clean this shit up before you leave.” I rose to my feet once I gained some composure and started off.

  “Shai—”

Sammi hopped up so I turned around and towered over her with a menacing stare. Nothing needed to be said to let her know she was playing with fire. It was as if her words had gotten caught in her throat because she just gazed up at me, slightly frightened. She’d seen me get out of hand before while she was dating Ishmael, so she knew what was good.

“Like I said, clean this shit up when you’re done,” I spoke calmly, eyes never leaving hers. I was pretty sure I didn’t even blink.

And with that said, I left to head out for my meeting.

I made it to the studio that I always used, located in Redondo Beach, and quickly parked my car. I was meeting up with this girl group, and since they were making a lot of noise somewhat and so was I, I thought it would be cool to fuck with them. As long as they had the money and a good enough voice, I didn’t mind making them a track.

“Hello, ladies,” I greeted them when I spotted them in the hallway, waiting by my studio door.

The place was huge with about seven large studio rooms, and I always chose the second one. I didn’t want to be deep in the back, just because I always had niggas going in and out. Not to mention, it was a lifesaver when we ordered food and shit.

“Hey, Mischief,” the three of them replied together, wearing wide ass smiles as I opened the door to let them in the room.

“Have a seat over there.” I pointed to the leather couch in the studio as I closed the door behind me. When I reached them, I asked, “So, what are y’all names individually? I know the group name, but I like to get to know my artists more personally.”

“I’m Ashley, this is Cyn, and Heidi,” Ashley spoke up, already giving me that look.

I wasn’t in the mood right now, because my mind was on my money. After we made a couple records, then maybe I’d break her ass off, and that was a big maybe. Wasn’t nothing wrong with her per se, but I just felt like I needed to be more professional. After Chaz walked in on Mendi and me, it made me want to slow down a bit.

“Cool, well, y’all already know me… Mischief.” I palmed my chest and they all giggled. I didn’t know who wanted the dick more at this point. “What are y’all looking to do exactly, like a mixtape, an album, an EP?”

“Well, what’s the difference? Aren’t all of those the same things?” Cyn frowned.

“Well, if you want a mixtape, I could get a DJ to host it. An album and an EP are alike, but an album is longer. I guess it depends on your budget.”

The three of them nodded, and then we continued to discuss exactly what they wanted. When we were done, they wanted to hear some of the beats I’d crafted for them, so I turned the first one on, and then slipped into the bathroom within the studio room while they listened real brief. I usually would have held it, but I drank a lot of water this morning before I showered.

“Hey,” Cyn came in, just as I was washing my hands.

  “What’s good?”

“You tell me. You busy tonight or what? If so, I could tell them to leave and we can chill now,” she bit down on her plump bottom lip.

Cyn was a pretty, short light-skinned bitch, and although she wasn’t skinny, she wasn’t my type. I liked women with more meat on them, because I was a pretty big guy. I had muscle and I was tall as fuck, so I couldn’t get down with short skinny bitches. I needed something slim thick or thick; shit, even a BBW was cool.

“How about we go back outside and listen to the beats, baby girl.”

“We can listen after.” She moved closer to me and grabbed my crotch, so I gently removed her hand.

“After what? I’m not about to fuck you. This is a damn business meeting and you got me hemmed up in the bathroom begging for dick? Really?” I was beyond confused and hella irritated.

“Nigga, don’t try to play me like you don’t wanna fuck me too!”

“I don’t! I tried to go easy on you but you’re doing way too much and trying way too hard. And I don’t like easy pussy. Shit is probably beat the fuck up.”

I slipped past her and came out of the bathroom. I smiled seeing Ashley and Heidi jamming to the beats, as I sat down at the mixer. I was still a bit bothered by Cyn and her bullshit because I liked to have a good relationship with artists that I worked with. But two out of three liking me was better than zero out of three.

  “So that was called—”

“Oh you know what, Mischief, we have another meeting with another producer so we’ll let you know,” Cyn cut me off, walking up to where Ashley and Heidi were.

They shot Cyn a confused look, so I knew that she was
lying about this next meeting.

“Wow, all because I wouldn’t smash?” I laughed, leaning back in my swivel chair some. Shit was comical.

“Boy, please, you ain’t the only producer in L.A. that wants to work with us,” Cyn spat.

“Didn’t say I was. But I hope the meeting goes well, and regardless of what happens, Ms. Cyn, I will never touch you.”

I turned away from them and I could feel Cyn staring at the side of my face, before the three of them left chatting. I couldn’t stand that bitch and I’d just met her.

“Fuck!” I hollered once the door closed.

I just prayed that tonight’s session with Cardio produced some bangers because I needed that shit, I really did. Working with people that somewhat had their own name out there like myself, would benefit me, which is why I was looking forward to that girl group.

As I turned the track off, my iPhone started ringing. I saw it was my cousin, Ishmael, so even though I wasn’t in the mood to be bothered, I answered for him.

“What’s good?” I sighed, running my hand down my face.

“Aye, that nigga Ashton is over here chilling and shit like you ain’t been looking for him, and like he don’t owe you money.”

Sitting up I asked, “Outside of the studio?”

  “Yep and he—”

Before Ishmael could even finish, I hung up and was out of my chair, heading outside. This nigga Ashton had me fucked up, on everything I loved. I was trying to leave my violent lifestyle behind, but niggas like him made it hard for me to do so.

  Chapter Two: Laine

  Two hours earlier…

I felt someone shaking me, and when I looked up, Cassie was smiling down at me, holding a bottle of water in her hand. I looked over at the time and saw it was 10am, so I sat up and covered my face for a few moments.

“Is someone in the bathroom?” I finally asked Cassie, climbing out of the bed.

We’d gone to a club last night called Supperclub, and we stayed there until the damn cows came home. I had a good ass time though, taking a gang of fucking pictures, dancing, drinking free liquor, and just enjoying myself.

We went to celebrate Cassie and me becoming a part of the team, so I got to party with the other seven girls. I could already tell that Cassie was gonna be the one I stuck with. Them other bitches seemed way too fucking bourgeois and I wasn’t with that, especially when I felt like I looked better than them.

“No, girl, that’s our bathroom, that’s why it’s in this room,” Cassie answered, sitting down on her bed. I guess I wasn’t used to having a bathroom in my room. “Hurry because I wanna go to the mall and get some shoes to wear for tonight.”

I simply nodded as I carried what I needed to the bathroom. Once inside, I admired the spacious bathroom like always, taking in my surroundings for a bit.

This all seemed like a dream, and if it was, I didn’t want to wake up. I’d only been here two days, but I still couldn’t believe it.

Jude was so nice in person, and the way he explained to me how I would be getting modeling jobs based off my own name had me excited as hell. Even Erynne was happy for me, since she saw me on The Model Instagram page last night.

I brushed, flossed, and rinsed with Listerine, then got into the shower so I could wash my face and body. Once I was clean, I sprayed my body oil on my damp body for scent, and then slipped on some panties and a tube dress. I let my dark curly hair hang freely because I was just going to the mall and saw no point in doing the most when I would be getting pretty tonight.

Leaving the bathroom, I walked past two of the other girls, Farrah and Amelia, who gave me fake smiles as they sauntered by. I didn’t have eyes in the back of my head, but I could feel them looking at me.

“Damn, you look the same with no makeup, well pretty much the same,” Cassie grinned, getting off of her bed and adjusting her jeans over her slim thick frame.

  “Thanks,” I smiled.

  “Aight, let’s go.”

I slipped on my Adidas, and then grabbed my purse and phone. I saw I had plenty of calls from my grandmother, Erynne, and Tarik, but I didn’t feel like talking to any of them right now. I simply sent a text to Erynne saying I’d call her soon, and then one to my grandmother saying the same. And Tarik could kiss my ass. Right now, my old life wasn’t something I wanted to think about just yet.

“Whose car is this?” I asked, eyeing the Lexus that Cassie hit the alarm on.

“Just one of Jude’s many cars. You can drive any one whenever you have to go somewhere.”

“Damn,” I shook my head, scanning the nice ass interior. We’d taken a limo last night so I didn’t get to ride in this.

“What, you didn’t have a car up in Illinois?” Cassie asked, pulling out of the large driveway.

“Girl, no! I didn’t have shit really, but I’m planning to change that now that I’m out here. I’m so happy Jude messaged me.”

“Me too. I thought it was a scam at first, but nope. I was flying from Oakland two weeks from the day he messaged me,” she smiled.

“Me too, but my turn around time was quicker than two weeks.”

“I know, I see that.” She turned the radio up, and we bobbed our heads to the music on the way to the mall.

We went shopping at the South Bay Galleria, and before we headed home, we decided to stop at this smoke shop on Hawthorne Boulevard. Cassie wanted to smoke, and since I did too, I definitely agreed on making the pit stop.

As we got out of the car, I spotted some tall ass nigga with a short scruffy beard fucking someone up, right there on the street corner across the way. I mean he was beating the brakes off of some guy, and the victim could barely fight back.

“Damn, that’s the studio we’re going to tonight,” Cassie popped her gum as we watched the random thug, ravage the poor man from across the way.

“Fuck you looking at?” the attacker finally picked his head up.

He had a caramel complexion, scary dark eyes, and a short beard. He was very tall, maybe six feet six, but not skinny at all. He had some muscle to him; actually, a lot of muscle to him, but not at all like body builder. Pretty much, he was sexy as hell, but you could see how evil he was; you could sense it even from afar. Just the way he looked at me from across the way had me frozen. I didn’t care how good a man looked, I wasn’t dealing with no crazy nigga again. I was off too, and that always ended badly, like with Tarik and I.

“Nigga, ain’t nobody looking at you!” I finally hissed back. He had me fucked up. Wasn’t nobody scared of him just because he was whooping that guy’s ass.

His victim was currently balled up on the sidewalk, begging for his life, even though his beating had been put on pause.

To my surprise, the evil man started across the street towards me, walking slowly and coolly just like them fucking serial killers do. You ever notice how serial killers still catch you even though they never run?

Anyway, his attire was even scary; dark jeans, dark windbreaker, black shoes, black baseball cap, and black jewelry. He had an evil smirk plastered on his face like he just knew he was gonna be able to kill me later. And even though I was feeling bold a minute ago, I was slightly afraid at the moment. Why didn’t I just shut the fuck up?

“Fuck you say?” he walked up on me, towering like a damn building. Yeah, he was six-feet-six for sure, if not taller. His cologne was alluring, just like him, but now that he was up on me, his demeanor was petrifying. Licking his full lips, he waited for my response.

“I-I said I wasn’t looking at you.” I folded my arms, staring up into those dark menacing eyes. I tried to continue to be bold, but his icy soul-less stare was getting to me. And his hat reading Bompton didn’t help.

“You’re lucky I don’t put my hands on women. I don’t like people being in my fucking business. I don’t give a fuck how pretty they are.”

His perfect top row of teeth nibbled on his bottom lip as he took in my face and body. I adjusted my stance because I felt myself getting wet down
below. I really had a problem. There was no reason why I should have been attracted to him. And because he had me shook too, if he told me to lie down and let him fuck right here in this parking lot… I can’t say I would decline.

“Come on, Laine,” Cassie whispered, tugging my arm.

I wanted to walk away because this guy was clearly capable of the unthinkable; it was in his eyes. I could tell he strangled people and didn’t think twice about it. But then again, it was like I was drawn to him, so my feet stayed planted in the gravel of the liquor store parking lot.

  “Yeah, listen to your girl.”

“Nigga, please! Ain’t nobody scared of you!” I barked as he turned his back to me and started off. It was almost like now that he was a little ways away from me, I was no longer paralyzed. That nigga had some unspoken power. That was some dick I didn’t need but wanted.

When he looked over his shoulder and flashed me that crooked smile while chewing his gum, I swear I came. I wanted to rush across the street and continue our fight just so I could be around him, but that would be thirsty as hell.

“Girl, you are crazy!” Cassie laughed, pulling me inside of the smoke shop.

“Is he gonna be there tonight? I hope not,” I lied.

“That’s Mischief, baby girl. He’s gonna be there, but hopefully he won’t talk to you. Keep your fingers crossed, that’s not a nigga we want problems with.”

I would be keeping my fingers crossed, but for a totally different reason than Cassie thought.

  ***

  That night…

Rita pulled up to that same studio, and I took a deep breath hoping God came through for me. I really wanted Mischief, or whatever his name was to be there. I didn’t know why, because it wasn’t like I was gonna walk up to him and speak, but I just liked being around him, already.

Why did I like psycho niggas? He’d made it obvious that he wasn’t all there by the way he fucked that guy up in broad daylight, and by the way he ran up on me.

Rita, Cassie, and I got out of the car, and as soon as I closed the car door, I looked myself over. I wore a white monokini, with a plunge neckline, short jean shorts which exposed my long legs, along with some all white thigh high boots. I wore silver jewelry even though I preferred gold, because I felt it looked better with this outfit. My real hair was curled to perfection, and my makeup looked even better.
