Aria – Twenty
Oddly Aria came to the front today. I almost forgot about her, to be honest. She was scared to leave her room and made me fucking pray again. Whoever Aria is, it seems tied to the club… or maybe Grudge.
Maybe Harley knows how her dad really feels about her, and Aria is the front to deal with this?
Farrah – Twenty-Two Years Old-
Farrah walked out of her room in a towel, and I took her back to her room and fucked her into the mattress. She then said some fucked up shit about me never having Harley, and I hit the road for a much-needed ride.
Farrah – Twenty-Three Years Old-
Farrah was sitting at the bar, talking to everyone like everything was normal. She took off Harley’s skull ring, and it pissed me off. I may have gotten a little rough dragging her into the club bathroom, and informing her that I’d blister her ass if she ever took it off again. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen the look of horror cross her face.

Note From The Author
Funny, this whole story started as a teacher/student romance. Something was missing though, and I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then I threw in a biker to save the day, and the entire story took form.
I needed a safe haven for Harley. I needed someone to understand her, and wanted to protect her. In my heart, a club house was her home.
I did a lot of research on Dissociative Identity Disorder. In fact, it took me longer to get all the information I needed on the condition then to write the book. With that being said, my heart goes out to anyone who has been diagnosed with this. It is something that does not look easy to live with, and you are truly a soldier for your hardships.
When I was outlining this book, I made the disorder a secret at first, but then thought to myself… every book I’ve read on this has hidden it. Surprising the reader at the very end of what was really going on with the characters. I wanted something different, I wanted the reader to see what it’s like to live in a life of confusion and black outs. So, I scrapped the whole thing and went feet first into the condition.
My book does bring to light a lot of what people with this condition go through, but Free Ride is fiction and does not in any way demonstrate to the full extent of what someone with Dissociative Identity Disorder goes through.
If the characters cooperate with me, this series will not just be about bikers. It will be about mental conditions, and sexy bikers. Shadow Keepers is a sanctuary for those who are lost after all.
Then again, my characters can be assholes and this can go a different way. So we will see...
