Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Surviving Savage (Kindle Worlds Novella) (SEALed Brotherhood Book 1) Page 2

by Victoria Bright

“Maybe I don’t want you to,” she whispered. He glanced down at his watch, seeing that it was approaching two in the morning. He hadn’t realized so much time had passed since they’d all come back here. It was so easy to lose track of time when all he could focus on was her body, her eyes, the animated way she moved her hands when she talked about things that excited her and her beautiful smile.

“Hey Savage, would you say this was a good birthday or what?” Ghost asked with a grin.

Savage looked over at Natalie and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. “Definitely. And I’m sure it’s just getting started.”

  ***

They all but crashed through the door of the hotel room, tugging and pulling at each other’s clothes. Savage’s fingers located the zipper on the back of Natalie’s dress and pulled it down in one swift motion, allowing the garment to pool at her feet. A light moan slipped from her throat when he latched onto her hardened nipple, a chill rolling down his spine as her nails scratched his scalp. She lifted his t-shirt, her fingers gliding along the ridges of tight muscles beneath it. He backed her up against the wall, his thumbs hooking into the sides of her black thong as her hands fumbled with his belt buckle. If they didn’t keep moving toward the bed, he’d end up fucking her against this wall and not care.

“Well, would you look at that?” Savage murmured as his fingers parted her wet core. “You’re dripping wet for me, Nat.” He slowly slipped two fingers inside of her, biting his lip when her moan rang in his ears. “You wanna know what I’ve been thinking about all this time?”

She licked her lips and allowed her head to rest against the wall. “What’s that?” she breathed in between whimpers.

He planted kisses along her neck before nibbling on her earlobe for a brief second. “I’ve thought about my tongue exploring every inch of your body. I’ve also thought about fucking your tight little pussy until you can’t take it anymore. I imagined making you come so hard that you’ll scream yourself hoarse and then when it’s all over? I would do it again so that when you leave, you’ll never forget that I’ve been inside of you and that no matter where you are or who you’re with, this pussy will always be mine.”

Natalie grabbed the sides of his face and pulled him in for a kiss, her tongue hungrily searching for his. “Fuck me,” she begged in between kisses, removing his hardened cock from his boxers. “Please fuck me. Please.”

Savage lifted her against the wall and wrapped her legs around his waist. “It’s so sexy when you beg,” he murmured, entering her in one swift thrust. Her heat consumed and overwhelmed him at once as he plunged deep within her. Her nails dug into his back as he pumped into her, her moans a soundtrack he could listen to on repeat. Every woman he’d had since she went away so many years ago faded in his mind with every stroke he put inside of her. Even though it’d been years since he had her, it felt right, as if she was perfectly made for him.

“Harder,” she moaned, dragging her nails along his back. He growled as they bit into his skin and followed her commands. She held him tight as he pummeled into her, her moans turning into breathless pants. “Almost there.”

He stopped without warning, feeling her core throb around his swollen cock. “You didn’t think I’d let you come that easily, did you?” he teased, kissing the tip of her nose. He couldn’t help but chuckle when she furrowed her brow in frustration, trying to bounce herself on his cock, but he held her still. Stepping out of his pants and boxers, he walked over to the bed and laid her down. “On your knees.”

She positioned herself on her knees in front of him, exposing her wet slit to him in all its glory. As bad as he wanted to stay in the moment, a tiny thought that’d been echoing around in his mind all night pushed further to the forefront. This isn’t forever; you only have her for a night. What would happen after tonight or whenever she went back home? Would they say goodbye for good and just cherish tonight for what it was? Was that for the best? A part of him wanted to be selfish and tell her to stay here with him, but he was sure she had her own life back home. Maybe she wanted to work things out with her ex or maybe she wanted a relationship with a safer guy. Dating a military man wasn’t safe and it could be hard to adjust to if you weren’t used to being alone.

Natalie looked over her shoulder. “You okay?” she asked, pulling him out of his brooding.

He joined her on the bed and positioned himself behind her. He’d deal with tomorrow and what came with it when that time came.

  Chapter Four

When Natalie got on the plane yesterday to come to San Diego, never in her wildest dreams did she expect to end up seeing her ex. Sleeping with him definitely wasn’t penciled into her carefully planned itinerary. Then again, she didn’t expect to receive a break up text from Ted not even an hour after she’d left for the airport either.

Sex with Cameron shouldn’t have felt this natural and his words about belonging to him shouldn’t have rung true. But they did. God damn it, they did. He shouldn’t have perfectly fit with every curve of her body or enter her in ways no one ever had. Ten years had passed, but they picked up the fallen pieces without missing a beat. Hell, she’d just been dumped less than twenty-four hours ago and was already in bed with someone else. Maybe he’s right. Perhaps things did happen for a reason.

His lips moving along her spine snapped her out of her brooding and back into the moment. He was here and he was hers, at least for tonight. Rough hands provided a comforting touch as they slid along her skin. He kissed his way up her back and to her neck, his fingers massaging her scalp before tightening on the strands of her hair. A whimper slipped through her lips when he pulled, giving him access to her neck. He licked a scorching trail from the base of her neck to her earlobe before planting a light kiss on her pulse point.

“Cameron,” she whispered, closing her eyes. Her core pulsed with need and anticipation of him being inside of her again. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d felt this aroused. Even during her three years with Ted or when she was with any of the guys she’d tried to date before, no one made her body react the way Cameron did. No other man made her heart race faster at the thought of their hands on her, nor did anyone make her forget to breathe when they kissed her.

Her ringing phone across the room shattered the sexual tension between them, replacing her arousal with anxiety as the ringtone resonated in her mind. Ted. She froze, unable to focus on the kisses Cameron placed on her skin and the tiny jolts of the pleasure jumping up her spine as his fingers circled her clit. The moment the phone stopped ringing, she sighed a breath of relief and tried to focus back on Cameron until the phone rang again.

“Do you need to get that?” Cameron asked with a chuckle.

  “It’s Ted,” she whispered.

  He paused. “Ted?”

  “My ex.”

He released her hair and placed a firm hand in the center of her back, pushing her face down into the bed. The tip of his cock pressed against her, teasing her of what she knew was soon to come.

“You said he broke up with you in a text, yeah?” he asked. She nodded. “Where’s your phone?”

She pointed near the door. “In my purse over there,” she said. She watched as he got off the bed and retrieved her purse, pulling her phone from it. He gently pushed her over and onto her back, settling between her legs as he put her phone on the pillow next to her head.

“If he calls again, answer it.”

  “Answer it? Why would I—”

The rest of her protest morphed into a moan when he plunged into her. Part of her wanted Ted to call. Aside from him finally breaking up with her in a text, that wasn’t the first time he’d hurt her. There were times she’d call him at his office to hear suspicious sounds or voices in the background and she’d seen the intimate pictures he had of his assistant on his phone and computer. There were also the fights they had when she found out about the “one time” they shared a hotel room at a business convention and “accidentally” slept together after “dr
inking too much.” She should’ve left then.

Would this kind of payback really make her feel better? Her phone rang again, as if testing her morals. Ted’s name and picture appeared on the screen, taunting her.

  “Answer it,” Cameron stated.

She looked up at him. His honey eyes blazed with passion and a hint of anger as a dangerous grin played on his lips. She reached over, slid her finger across her screen and took the call, putting it on speaker.

“Yeah,” she answered, doing her best to suppress the whimper threatening to escape as Cameron pumped into her.

“Hey, I wanted to talk to you about earlier…I don’t know what I was thinking,” Ted said. She fought the urge to roll her eyes. Of course. It was like this every time he messed up. He never knew what he was thinking or he had some other lame excuse. Cameron captured her lips, swirling his tongue against hers so passionately it nearly took her breath away. “Natalie?”

“I’m sorry, but she’s a little busy getting fucked right now,” Cameron said into the phone as he sat up and lifted Natalie’s legs.

“What? Who the fuck is that? What the fuck is going on, Natalie?” Ted bellowed over the speaker. Cameron thrust into her, filling her to the hilt.

“Fuck! Cam!” she screamed as he pounded into her.

“That’s right, baby. Tell that fucking loser this pussy is mine,” he groaned.

  “God, it’s yours. It’s yours!”

“That’s right. All fucking mine,” he murmured, picking up her phone. “You hear that, chump? This sweet little pussy that’s milking my cock right now is all mine.”

“Who the fuck are you, you dick? Put Natalie back on the phone! Natalie!”

“He wants to talk to you, baby. Tell him you’re busy,” Cameron said, pushing deeper inside of her.

“Ah, fuck! I can’t talk right now, Ted!”

“And tell him why you can’t talk right now. Tell him you can’t talk because my cock is pounding your wet little pussy and you love it, don’t you?”

“Yes! I fucking love it,” she screamed through gritted teeth as she neared the edge.

“YOU’RE SERIOUSLY FUCKING THAT GUY? HOW COULD YOU DO—”

Cameron disconnected the call and tossed the phone to the side. “Fuck that guy,” he said, devouring Natalie’s lips as he moved within her.

Surprise, lust, and admiration filled her as she kissed him, squeezing her legs tighter around him as he moved quicker inside her. Did that really just happen? Her phone rang once again, displaying Ted’s name and picture, but she ignored it.

“I’m almost there, baby,” she breathed, scratching at his back. Their hips moved faster as their breathing fell in rhythm with each other.

“I feel you, baby,” Cameron murmured against her lips. “Give it to me.”

“Cam…” she groaned, closing her eyes.

“No, no, no,” he said, holding her face still. “No hiding from me. Give it to me.”

She held his intense gaze as she felt herself teetering on the edge. He groaned and thrust harder, kissing her lips.

  “In three…”

  “Cam.”

  “Two…”

  “Fuck…”

  “And…”

She exploded, her voice inaudible as she crested over the edge and into a sea of orgasmic bliss she’d never experienced. He quickly pulled out, emptying his seed on her stomach with a groan that bounced off the wall.

“And one,” she finished with an exhausted giggle.

He smiled and kissed her lips. “God, you’re amazing,” he whispered, resting his forehead against hers.

She ran her hands up his back until he met her eyes again. “This doesn’t feel real,” she murmured. “I’m almost waiting to wake up from this and it all just be a dream. That I’ll be back to my boring life and you won’t be here.”

He planted feather-like kisses along her jawline as he trailed back to her lips. “I’m here for now and that’s all that matters,” he said and settled next to her.

Natalie looked down at her stomach. “I’m gonna get cleaned up,” she said, sliding over to the edge of the bed and stopping suddenly to look at him. “Don’t leave, okay?”

  “Okay.”

She nibbled on her bottom lip. “Promise?” she asked, her voice small. Cameron ran a finger down her arm and smiled at her.

  “Promise.”

  Chapter Five

  “Shit!”

Savage jumped awake at the sound of Natalie’s voice and looked around.

“What’s going on?” he asked, rubbing his eyes as Natalie jumped out of bed and dashed around the room.

“I overslept. I have a hair and makeup appointment this morning and I overslept. Shit!” She rummaged through her duffle bag, muttering to herself under her breath.

“I guess that's my cue,” he said and threw the blankets from his naked body. Natalie paused in her frantic search and looked up at him. Her eyes looked as if she wanted to tell him to stay, but instead she cleared her throat and looked away, busying herself with her search.

Savage got dressed without a word and sat on the edge of the bed as he waited for Natalie to come out of the shower. Part of him wanted to leave before she finished so that he wouldn't have to deal with saying goodbye, but he knew he wouldn't have been able to forgive himself. He thought back to the intimate night they had. All the emotions he thought he'd been unable to feel were felt last night. Being with her made him feel alive in a way he hadn't been in a long time and when he left this hotel room, that part of him would die again.

Maybe it's best to just leave, he thought and stood to his feet. He strolled over to the nightstand and grabbed the complementary notepad and pen next to her phone.

  Don't be a stranger. 619-321-6673

  -Cam

He ripped the sheet from the pad and placed it on top of her phone before making his way to the door. Just as his hand touched the doorknob, the bathroom door opened.

  “Cam?”

He turned to look at her. She was wrapped in a towel, beads of water rolling down her skin as she stood in the bathroom’s doorway. Her face was filled with a mixture of confusion and disappointment as she looked at him, her head slightly cocked to the side.

“You're leaving,” she stated, her voice low. His grip tightened on the doorknob.

“Yeah,” he finally said. “I'm sure you have a busy morning with the wedding and all.” The silence that cloaked them was deafening and awkward. How did you say goodbye to a woman you were still in love with? How did you let someone go when you just got them back? How was he supposed to go back to being emotionally dead after everything he felt with her last night?

He swallowed the questions down, the muscle in his jaw ticking as he sighed. “I guess this is goodbye,” he said. “Take care, Nat.”

“Cam, wait,” she said when he turned the doorknob. She closed the small distance between them and met his gaze. “I don't want this to be goodbye for us.”

“What do you mean?” he asked, his heart skipping a beat.

She took a step closer and wrapped her arms around his waist. “Well, my plane doesn't leave until tomorrow morning. I'd like to see you again before I leave,” she said.

Of course that was what she meant. She wouldn't just decide to leave her life behind and stay in San Diego after one night of crazy sex. He couldn't even be his old selfish self to ask that of her.

  “Cam?” she called.

“Yeah, I'd like that. I left my number on your phone. Just hit me up later.”

“Will do,” she said and pulled him down a little to kiss him. “And thanks for last night.”

He chuckled and devoured her mouth, wishing he never had to let her go. The decision was made for him when her phone rang across the room.

“It's probably Missy,” she said against his lips, slowly letting go of him. “I'll call you later, yeah?”

“Yeah, okay,” he said. She gave him a small smile and walked away to answer her phone. He st
epped out of the room and closed the door, leaning against it. Was this what it felt like to have your heart trapped somewhere you couldn’t reach? He ran his hand through his hair.

  I'll be back for you.

  ***

Joker looked at Savage from across the table with a smirk as he popped a french fry into his mouth. Needing to take his mind off of Natalie, he met Joker and Ghost at In-N-Out Burger. He picked at the lettuce hanging from his double cheeseburger, glancing at the curious eyes across from him.

“What the hell are you looking at?” Savage finally asked.

“So how was it?” Joker asked.

Savage took a sip of his soda and turned his eyes away. “What are you talking about?”

“Oh, don't play games, Savage,” Ghost said and laughed. “What happened with the girl last night?”

Savage couldn't stop the sly grin that pulled at his lips as memories from the previous night filtered through his mind.

  “We just talked,” Savage said.

“Then what language does your dick speak?” Joker teased, causing the men to laugh.

“Shut up, fool. I'm not one to kiss and tell,” he said.

Joker waved him off. “Well, I'm sorry your sex last night was too lame to talk about so I'll give you guys a rundown of how my night ended.” He leaned forward on his elbows. “So I went back to the hotel with the girl with the great tits—”

“They all had great tits,” Ghost said.

“I think you had a few too many drinks if you thought that. The girl you were with had the body of an eleven-year-old goat,” Joker said with a frown.

Savage spit the soda in his mouth out when he snorted. “A goat though?” he mused.

“Well, it’s true,” Joker said with a shrug as Ghost glared at him. “Anyway, I went back to her hotel room and she was all, ‘I hope you like a little kink, sailor.’ She goes to her duffle bag and pulls out handcuffs, some feather bullshit thing, butt plugs and this big ass dildo—”
