She smiled and nodded. “How’d I get so lucky?”
“I ask myself the same thing every day that you’ve been here,” he said and kissed her lips gently. He looked at the picture again, tears burning his own eyes. He still hadn’t fully processed that it was his baby in the picture and growing inside his woman. “We’re having a baby.”
“Yes, we are,” she said, resting her head on his shoulder. “You gonna tell the guys?”
“Hell yeah, I am,” he said and bolted toward the door, picture in hand.
The guys’ attention turned to him as he approached the living room. “Everything okay in there?” Bullseye asked.
Savage held the picture up, a huge smile on his face. “We’re having a baby!” he exclaimed.
“Hell yeah! It was bound to happen the way you’ve been tearing that girl up,” Joker teased, pretending to smack the air again.
“Congrats, man. That’s amazing,” Diablo said, giving him a thumbs up. Natalie joined him at his side, wrapping an arm around his waist.
“So when’s the wedding?” Ghost asked.
Savage looked down at Natalie. “Looks like it’s going to be a lot sooner than expected. Anybody want to come to Vegas?” he teased. The men all exchanged looked before turning back to Savage with a grin.
“Hooyah!”
