“Stop it!” he yelled at her.

But her hands continued pulling so hard that, this time, he screamed. That stopped her, and she loosened her grip for just a second, just long enough for him to pull away.

“What the hells got into you?” he said, trying to calm her down. But she suddenly grabbed him again and pulled his trousers down, then pushed him violently onto the bed.

She was a marine and much stronger than he was, so he knew he couldn’t stop without risking losing his manhood. She jumped on him; her hand went down to guide him into her. Then suddenly, she stopped, got off and went into the IOS shower.

Taking the opportunity, he quickly pulled his trousers up, rearranged himself and left in a hurry.

Once out in the corridor, he moved quickly along then stopped outside Susanna’s cabin to calm down.

‘He hadn’t realised how strong Jenny was,’ he thought. ‘And why did she stop like that?’

‘I scanned her and found she’d been drugged,’ came Andromeda’s mental voice.’

‘You were watching and did nothing?’

‘I did do something. But I couldn’t help until I found out what it was. As soon as I discovered how to interrupt its action, I used her implant against it. That’s why she suddenly stopped. But that will only work once. Still, I don’t expect you would have minded going all the way?’

‘How can you say that? I love Susanna, nobody else, ever. She’s all I will ever want, and you know it.’

‘Yes, I believe you. But will she? She might, or might not?’

  ‘What do you mean?’

  ‘Recordings, Frankie boy.’

  ‘Don’t get flippant.’

‘Well, Susanna’s just had shall we say, a prompt to watch her screen, maybe you’ll be off the hook.’

‘Now I think I understand why you’re my second girl.’ he said, feeling just a fraction better.

He sensed Andromeda giggle, apparently liking his comment.

  ‘Just wait a moment Frank.’

Then he thought he heard a gasp from Susanna’s cabin.

‘Give her another minute Frank,’ Andromeda cautioned, then added.

‘I’ve been looking at the recording of when you were with Tripicac and Cazer. In particular, the time when he asked Jenny to push the anti-gravity plate. He put his hand on hers, and that’s when I’m sure the drug was given. She rubbed the back of her hand, so she must have felt something.’

‘That makes sense, and Tripicac said that Cazer’s problem when he was away from home was sex.’

‘But what was he hoping to gain by his experiment?’ Andromeda queried. ‘Or, maybe you two were his experiment?’

‘Perhaps, or maybe he’d already used it on some Pavonisien girls before we arrived and decided to have a go at us humans?

‘If so, we need to find out if our two species are compatible. If they are, I dread to think of the mixed-species problems, this could cause?’ Frank finished.

‘Well, there aren’t too many differences Frank.’

‘What, like rough skin, tall, shall I go on?’

‘No. I’ve stopped the recording now, and Susanna’s up to date, so go in and apologise. We’ll sort the rest of this tomorrow.’

  ‘Thanks, Andromeda.’

He turned around and pressed Susanna’s annunciator pad, and as the door opened, he saw Susanna standing there wiping the tears from her eyes.

He stepped inside and the door closed behind him as they hugged each other, then kissed, passionately.

With Susanna, finally leading him to their bed to take his mind off Jenny.

Next day, Andromeda had the information that Frank and Susanna were waiting for.

“Well, it seems that the drug makes the female become uncontrollable in her desire to have rampant sex,” Andromeda said and paused.

“So Cazer wouldn’t have had any problem with getting girls to mate with him on DPav4. They would have been almost insatiable. Just like Jenny,” she added.

“Goodness knows how many girls he could have impregnated. With a drug like that, he could have gone on for a long time.”

“So, how many of his offspring could there be?” Susanna asked.

“Even one would be too many,” Frank replied.

“We can’t tell the Pavonisien people too much Frank.”

“True Sues, but we must find out for ourselves. What about Jenny?”

Andromeda was slow to respond, then said.

“She’s physically recovered. But her mind is still telling her that she must make children with you,” she paused briefly.

“Frank, the need will never go completely away from her. The drug basically rewired her brain, and it’s still telling her that you are to give her children, no matter what.

Jenny won’t stop until you make her stop. She’s far stronger than you physically, and I can’t protect you anymore. Her brain has already reconfigured itself to prevent me from giving her a brain link stab again.”

Andromeda paused as if trying to find an easier way to tell Frank the bad news.

“If you’re alone with her, you won’t be able to stop her, and in the end, I know Jenny will make you impregnate her. Or she’ll kill you for not trying,”

  Andromeda paused again, then added.

“Regretfully, I’ve concluded that the lasting effect of the drug will make her kill you in the end anyway.”

Susanna gasped, then looking at Frank said.

“Then you should have given in to her yesterday. It would have been kinder. Now I understand, it must be like torture to her.”

“Oh, so that’ll be all right then Sues. So, what about me?”

“Oh, don’t be such a wimp. You know you would have enjoyed it anyway if you hadn’t needed to think of me.”

“You actually want me to walk into her room, and say take me?”

“Well, not exactly. Jenny obviously needs to force you to do it. But that’s the fault of the drug, not her.”

“And that’s supposed to make me feel better? Frank replied incredulously.

“Andromeda, are you sure you can’t find a way to prevent this reaction?”

“If I could Frank, I would.”

“Can’t we just lock her up until we get back to Earth?”

“No Frank,” Susanna snapped. “Too risky. No, you must go to her room and fight her. Well, pretend to anyway.”

“You mean, I’ve got to go through all that again?”

“Yes,” Susanna and Andromeda said together.

“I can’t do it now, we’re supposed to be going to Savron’s ship.”

“Yes, but not until this afternoon,” Susanna replied.

“But it’s like putting me out on the corner of the street. And, what if she keeps coming back for more until she’s sure she’s pregnant?”

“Lucky you, at least, that’ll keep you out of my hair,” Susanna said half-jokingly.

Frank gave up. He couldn’t think of any more excuses.

“Right then, if I must. But don’t blame me, Susanna, if I start enjoying it,” he added then stopped.

Thinking maybe that was an expression too far.

“Oh, and before I go. She gave me a sort of male stimulant in a glass, and it’s still active. I suppose that will, at least, make it easier for me to give in,” he finished smiling wearily.

“Yes. Andromeda, where did she get the stimulant from?” Susanna asked.

“If you know the code for it, you can dial it up on a medical vending machine.

“Then you’d better not waste it, Frank,” Susanna said, hugging him. Then gave him a long tender kiss.

Reluctantly, he left Susanna’s cabin and walked the few paces to Jenny’s. He took a deep breath then tapped the annunciator pad.

  “Who is it?”

“Frank, I’ve come to see if you’re all right?”

He had started to feel aroused already. ’Damn stimulant,’ he thought.

The door slid open, and he stepped into her room
, as it closed behind him.

Jenny came out of the bedroom, dressed in the same robe that she had worn yesterday.

As soon as Jenny saw Frank, her whole demeanour changed.

“I was resting,” she stuttered, her eyes fixed on him, and as she came towards him, her robe fell of away,

The sight of her beautifully muscled body aroused him. Once again, he found that he couldn’t stop his body from reacting down below.

Jenny saw the desired effect. And as before, her hands reached out and grabbed him so hard that he winced. Somehow, he managed to hold back the pain. But this time, knowing he wasn’t going to resist, started undoing his zip.

She let go and stood back in surprise as his trousers dropped to the floor, and he hurriedly stepped out of them. Jenny grabbed him again and pulled him violently to the bed.

  “Careful,” he yelled.

He knew that he had to go with her or be ruined for life. This had proved how much stronger she was, and he was relieved when she pushed him onto the bed, then jumped straight onto him. The activity continued for quite a few minutes. Then when she was finally satisfied, she rolled off him.

He felt sore and drained like never-before.

Then Jenny calmly stood up and went to take an ISO shower, totally ignoring him. While he just laid still on the bed, recovering.

Two minutes later, she stepped out of the shower and crossed to look down on him. Silently proclaiming herself the Conqueror, which, in this instance, she had been.

She kissed him casually on the cheek and left the room.

He took the hint, got up, dressed and left. Thinking as, he went. If I have to go through that all again, it might not be so bad, after all.

  He reached Susanna’s cabin.

‘Let me in,’ he punched the ‘thought,' at her.

The cabin door opened, and Frank hugged Susanna. She put her hand down. “Don’t touch it,” he groaned.

Then they both sat down together and couldn’t help laughing about his ordeal.

Later that day, the promised visit to Savron’s globe-ship took place. The blue globe ship was fascinating to see, but the visit didn’t inspire them, as the Solveron’s hadn’t allowed them to see anything of interest.

However, once they were back on their own ships, they decided on reflection that it had after all been a useful exercise.

A ten-minute de-briefing was then conducted, and the few recordings that had been made were distributed to the other ships captains.

Later, the arrangements for the next jump were subject to a fuller discussion between Andromeda and the other captains. Following which a two o’clock jump time was set for the next day. With all the ships having to be back at the wormhole on time, and ready to go in the same formation they arrived in.

The night was peaceful, with no real distractions to keep Frank awake, but he couldn’t help thinking about what had happened.

He was pleased that Jenny was now, hopefully, out of the picture, at least, she was if she became pregnant. On the other hand, he didn’t want to think about the complications this would cause when she was pregnant with his baby.

He didn’t really think he was to blame and hadn’t thought much about the ‘Jenny kiss,’ at Senator Kasosko’s reception party.

Anyway, Susanna and Jenny had pushed him into it. They had teased him far too long, and far too much. It had become embarrassing to him. He stopped thinking and yawned sleepily.

So, at the reception, it was almost like I was carrying on the ‘tempt Frank’ game for them. But that proved to be nearly disastrous in the end.

  Chapter 26

  An Unwanted Visitor.

Commander Atro struggled to keep control of his ship, as one of the enemy’s blue globe vessels passed through, missing him by just a few centimetres

As the globe shaped ship moved through, it dissolved everything in its path. Leaving what was left of Atro’s in two pieces.

He tried to scream as the air rushed out of the now severed section of his vessel. Then the effects of depressurisation ripped apart his and his crew’s bodies, sending their remains out into space.

Commander Kribourg trembled with fear as he saw his Starships flaring and dissolving one after the other.

“Jump!” he yelled at his pilot

  “Where too?”

“Jump, for Crilla’s sake. Jump anywhere you fool, away from here!”

Suddenly, a wormhole formed less than a kilometre in front of them, and a massive blue globe ship emerged from it.

‘Too late,’ he thought as space boiled around them.

Fearing the worst, he closed his eyes and gritted his teeth.

Then, just in time, his battle cruiser jumped leaving the inferno behind.

Commander Kribourg’s ship exited warp, three light years away from the engagement. But, on looking outside, Kribourg could see that they were alone. None of his other ships had been able to jump.

Kribourg’s squadron had been in sector three when his ships had been all but wiped out by the blue globe vessels. Eight of their ships, including the battleship Vern, all disintegrated.

Kribourg’s ship, together with two more of his squadron had managed to get away but had been forced to scatter.

“Commander, are you alright?” Bronto asked, seeing his commander close to breakdown.

  “Just.”

The Crillon commander’s science officer scanned for their other two ships, but with no luck.

“What’s our status Bronto?” Kribourg asked. ”We’ve been sat here far too long.”

“There seems to be a problem with the force field emitters, sir.”

  “Well. What’s wrong with them?”

“When the Vern came apart, its hull grazed us down one side and damaged some of them, so we’re now a few emitters short.”

“So, we’re short of a few emitters. What else?”

  “Nothing of importance sir.”

“Nothing of importance! I’ll be the judge of that Bronto,” he snapped.

“Damn it, what are you trying to say?”

“We should have gone straight back to Crilla sir.”

“What? Leave our other two ships out here?”

“They can get home on their own sir, just like we can. If we stay here much longer, we’ll never get home. I can feel it, Commander.”

“Don’t be absurd Bronto,” he snapped back, then thought about what Bronto had said. Bronto was a pain sometimes, but he was usually right in the end.

“Pilot, calculate a transit pattern for Crilla.”

  “Yes, sir,” Kribourg’s pilot acknowledged.

Commander Kribourg sat back and relaxed. There was nothing he needed to do now until the ‘Jump’ calculation for his home planet Crilla was complete, and that could take anywhere between ten to fifteen minutes.

However, he still didn’t know what he could do about these blue globe ships. Nothing he had could touch them and he didn’t think there was anything in the Galaxy that could. It made him sweat just thinking about it.

‘If that’s the case,’ he thought. ‘We won’t survive.’

The comm’s system suddenly beeped, indicating there was an incoming message.

Bronto read the message heading. “It’s a general broadcast to all Crillon ships in deep space sir. It’s coming from Tapin’s communications array.”

  “Put it on the speakers.”

  “Yes, sir.”

“I am Senate Chairman Kasosko. I speak to my fellow Crillons on Crilla, and on all of our ships and outposts,” there was a pause, then his voice continued.

“In the next few hours, you will notice strange ships in the skies above our planet Crilla. When they arrive, do not be afraid. There is nothing to fear.

The blue spheres are Solverons. Don’t panic. We are no longer at war with them.

The gold colour ships are from far away and their species are called Humans.”

Commander Kribourg felt betrayed as the senator continued. Why he fel
t like that, he wasn’t sure.

  “Trickery more like,” he muttered.

“Maybe the war has actually ended sir?” Kribourg’s pilot suggested.

“Not for me,” Kribourg snapped as his attention wandered, then returned to the broadcast.

“The Humans also came up against the Solverons but were able to destroy four of their ships.”

“Turn that rubbish off Bronto, nobody has ever destroyed a single Solveron ship, let alone four.”

  “Wait, sir, this bit’s important.”

“Space Navy Martial Trendor is dead,” The broadcast continued. “His accomplices are under guard and will be tried in due course. We will convene an inter-race conference soon. When it has finished, I will talk to you all again.

Thank you for listening to me,” he finished.

“I don’t believe it,” Commander Kribourg snapped angrily. “And anyway, who is this senator?”

“It’s a disaster…” Bronto said, realising the recording had stopped.

“Yes. It is a disaster Bronto,” Kribourg answered. “We need to leave. And, leave right now.”

“Our crystal grower ship was lost to the Solverons, I saw them destroy it,” Bronto said.

“Yes. So did I,” Kribourg replied, sounding very irritated.

“But we have enough Jump quota to reach home if we don’t waste it,” Bronto added, trying to calm his commander.

By now, Kribourg was almost fuming with rage.

“Pilot,” he yelled. “Where’s that damned ‘jump pattern’ for Crilla? It can’t take you all day. You useless idiot!”

“Nearly there, sir,” Kribourg’s pilot replied nervously.

“It’ll take us, at least, two weeks to get back to Crilla Commander,” Bronto said, again trying to calm him.

“Whatever has happened, happened days ago, while that message was in Hyperlink to us. We’ve been sitting here just wasting our time,” he added.
