  Posh and Becks. Third-in-line to the throne with soccer star David Beckham in Johannesburg where, along with Prince William, they were promoting England’s bid to host the World Cup.

  In Diana’s footsteps. Harry being shown a minefield in Tete Province, Mozambique and taking the opportunity to promote the HALO Trust, Princess Diana’s favourite charity, which has cleared more than a million mines.

  Family group. Harry, with his brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Queen, enjoys a light moment during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

  Proud moment. Harry receives the Distinguished Humanitarian Award from former US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, at the Atlantic Council’s Annual Awards Dinner in Washington DC.

  Ready for action. Captain Wales races from his VHR (very high readiness) tent to his Apache helicopter at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan.

  Pointing the way. Prince Charles looks on while his father signals a landmark to Harry as they travel down the River Thames on board the Spirit of Chartwell during the Diamond Jubilee Pageant.

  Caring Prince. The Prince is greeted by a young boy at the St Bernadette School for the visually impaired in the Maseru district of his beloved Lesotho.

  Supporting the groom. The royal brothers at Westminster Abbey on William’s wedding day.

  My hero. Harry duplicates Usain Bolt’s trademark stance after ‘beating’ him in a race in Jamaica.

  Waiting for the flame. Harry joins the Duchess of Cambridge to receive the Olympic torch at Buckingham Palace.
