The Big D Page 12

by Brittany Crowley

“We’ve known each other for six months. That’s long enough. I know you Agnes, I want you in my house, in my bed.” He pulls out then thrusts slowly back inside. I’m so close already after all the stolen attempts at a climax.

“This isn’t fair. It’ll be harder to keep us a secret.”

“You know what’s not fair? Having to jump a flight to another state to bust your girlfriend out of the big house.”

“Point taken. Grant!” I moan when he starts picking up the pace and adds his fingers to the mix. One hand on my pussy with the other tweaking my nipple.

  “You’re close. I can feel your… Christ!”

  “Keep going, I’m gonna come!”

“Not until you agree to move in with me.” I can tell he’s about to lose it from the grit in his voice. “You practically already live with me, let’s make it official.”

“Yes, yes, yes!” I scream out praying that’s enough for him to finish me off.

His hips start pounding into me as his fingers work my clit. My body erupts, tingles consume my body and I ignite.

“Yes Grant, yes!” I scream the hotel ceiling off. The sheer pleasure coursing through me is so consuming tears leak from my eyes.

“Squeeze my cock baby, just like that.” He starts calling out my name as his climax hits him. His hips thrust that much harder, that much faster.

Noises are coming out of me that I’d cringe for as my orgasm plows right into number two and I feel like I’m going to pass out. How Grant’s keeping up with his movements having had his orgasm is astounding. Then he starts grunting and calling out my name all over again.

It’s so hot and his hand finds my clit again pushing me into number freaking three as he sets off again.

“Fuck!” He moans through his last few thrusts. His body racks with tremors as he empties himself into me.

Our bodies take a while to come down, if they even do. After all that, it may take a week. We’re sweaty, panting and completely blissed out.

  “Fuck me.”

  “Holy shit.”

“I’m going to get you something to clean up with the second my body starts cooperating again baby. That was… that was. Jesus. I don’t know how to describe it.”

“Freaking awesome sauce!” I squeeze out between heaving breaths.

“No, I’m serious Agnes. That has never happened before. I thought it was a myth.”

  “So, you had…”

“Two. I came two fucking times.” He lies his head back and throws his arm over his eyes.

I love that he’s like this. When I put my hand on his chest he jumps slightly from the contact. His skins still extremely sensitive.

“I’ll be right back.” I whisper after placing a kiss over his heart.

Standing in the bathroom, I turn the shower on deciding we both need to clean up. I have a sticky situation going on downstairs and we’re both sweaty beasts. In the room, I find Grant in the same position I left him in.

“Let’s go Playboy. I have the shower ready to go.”

“Go on without me. Every man for himself.”

I can’t help but laugh. Maybe this means he forgot…

“I can’t wait to have you in my bed permanently so we can try this out again.” He props his head up and waggles his brows at me.

“There’s still some very good reasons we shouldn’t.”

“Fuck that. Everything holding you back I took care of. Michelle’s out of the picture. I came clean and if you would have stayed in my apartment like I asked you would have known.”

“You did what?” I shriek. “Grant, that means she gets…”

“She can fucking have it, I’ll open more.”

  “But…”

He pulls my arm causing me to fall on top of him. “It’s over.” He brushes my hair from my face. “I was pissed yesterday morning because of the tabloid. They should have been covering the cheating scandal, not your brush with lesbian hood.”

  “Oh…”

“I went to my lawyer and realized the magazines were on the shelves before they got word of the scandal. Come tomorrow her face is going to be on every fucking cover. Right now, she’s the headline on every news station.”

  “I can’t believe it’s all over with.”

“Yes, and when I came home and found you gone I panicked. There was no way to get in touch with you and I didn’t hear from you until the middle of the night.”

“I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking. Not for going to Jill’s, that had to happen. She’s my best friend and I couldn’t let her freak out by herself over something I caused. I should have called you and said we were leaving for New York. If only I had a phone…”

“I already replaced it. There’s one way I can think of that would make up for it.”

“I was under compulsion when I agreed.”

“Compulsion’s for wizards. Now help your man outta bed and give me a sponge bath!”

“I like the sound of that. You are a lot older, we’ll need to practice for when you’re a grandpa.”

He looks at me with soft eyes and a ginormous smile on his face. I think this is the first time I’ve ever talked about our future without him bringing it up first.

“I like the sound of that.” His voice is gruff as he gets off the bed and pulls me to him.

We stare at each other for a moment before he picks me up bridal style and marches into the bathroom with me in his arms. The shower is just that, a shower. But somehow, we’ve reached a new level. We explore each other’s bodies with our hands, but don’t take it any farther.

As he’s rinsing the conditioner from my hair I eye him. When the depths of his chocolate eyes lock onto mine I feel so much passion between us. So much hope for the first time since we started dating.

  “I love you Grant.”

“I love you too baby. Tell me you’ll move in with me.” He kisses my nose and pulls me tight against his body.

“I’ll move in with you.” I whisper.

“I’m taking you out for the whole world to see tonight.”

  Guess we’re going public.

  THE RACOONS ARE BACK!

  “Suck it dork!”

“Sick at work…” I mumble under my breath.

“How are you so bad at Wheel of Fortune Agnes? We’ve been watching it since you were a little girl.”

“Beats me, I’ll try harder next time.” I laugh.

We’re eating our take-out and I’ve been nervous as hell to tell her my news about moving in with Grant. It’s not that I think she’ll care. It’s just a huge step and they haven’t formally met yet.

After I clear all our food and stick everything in the dishwasher, I make my way back to the living room to finish watching the show.

“Agnes, if you don’t come out and say what’s on your mind I’m going to call your delivery boy up to find out what’s going on.”

  “Call Grant… what?”

“How do you think he got your information? Do you think those flowers just flew themselves to your doorstep? For crying out loud Agnes, you’re not very street smart.”

“You gave my personal information out to someone we didn’t know? Mimi!”

She shuts off the TV and faces me. Mimi never, ever shuts off the TV mid show. I’m scared.

“Has he not been playing your fiddle for the past however many weeks since you met him?”

  “Um…”

“It’s okay for you to ask a complete stranger to lay with you in my prized marigold’s, but it’s not okay for me to give him your address? All he wanted it for was to give you flowers! Flowers are romantic Aggie. Your grandfather, rest his soul, got me flowers twice in our entire marriage! And one of those times he claimed the bouquet my brother sent me when he was across the country.”

“This is all making me very uncomfortable. And it’s been six months, not a couple weeks.”

“You want uncomfortable? Try finding ass prints in your mulch. Or trying to explain to your neighbor the noises i
n my backyard are from a family of dying raccoons that keeps shelter under my back deck on Fridays.”

  “Oh god…”

  “Out with it!”

  “I’m moving in with Grant.”

She stares at me while keeping quiet and it’s weirding me the hell out. Mimi’s never silent when it comes to her opinion.

“It’s about time. At this point I was already married to your Grandfather and knocked up with your miserable mother. It’s about time he lit a fire under your ass.”

  “Well…”

  “You’ll bring him next Friday.”

She sits back on her couch and puts the TV back on.

  “What if he’s busy?”

  “Next Friday Aggie.”

  “Yes ma’am.”

The show comes to an end and she shuts the TV off again. “Your mother called.”

That brings on a new level of suckiness. I knew it was a matter of time. Honestly, I’m surprised it took her this long to reach out to me. It hasn’t been that long since we went public. You may think it’s weird that she called my grandmother instead of me. She never calls me unless it’s of importance to her.

No, I know my mom. She was putting her feelers out. Trying to get any information she could before actually having to call me. God forbid she call her only child and it leads to a dead end.

  “And…”

“I told her your boyfriends a delivery boy. But I told her not to worry about your future with him, I give him big tips.” She winks at me.

“I love you so much Mimi!”

“Love you too sweetie. Now get to stepping, I have to be up early in the morning.”

I get up and walk to the door. “Thanks for dinner. Next times on me!”

“Follow your heart sweet girl. Don’t over think things too much. Also remember… I expect him with you next week.” Mimi kisses my forehead before heading back in her house and shutting the door.

Hmm. That should be an easy task. Grant already sounds like he did some bonding with Mimi.

I can’t wait to get home to Grant. Home. I haven’t seen him much today because I decided to spend it with my Mimi while he was on conference calls.

As I’m walking down the drivewayI hear footsteps coming up behind me. Crap, someone’s about to mug me! I’ll never surrender without a fight, it’s about to go down!

In a quick decision, I twirl completely around and raise my hands in the air doing my best crouching tiger.

“Jesus Aggie, no need to end me.” He smiles as I take him in.

Grant’s wearing an apron and has takeout containers in his hand. Hmmm.

  “Whatcha got there?”

“Well, isn’t it obvious? I’m your delivery boy.” He winks at me. “Just making my last delivery of the evening.”

“Isn’t that funny. I was going to head home to my sexy boyfriend, but he’s become a bore in bed. Think you can help me out? The only problem is… I’m looking for a delivery man.”

“Just so we’re straight, you’re in character too, right?”

I roll my eyes and pull him by the collar to our old stomping grounds.

“Feeling nostalgic, are you?” I question while pulling his shirt over his head as we crash through the gate.

“Fuck yes. I miss smelling flowers when I’m deep inside you.”

I take mental note to get flowers and keep them in our bedroom later. But right now, I’m gonna have my man where we first met.

He has me kneel on the steps of the deck, his favorite spot for us to get down and dirty. He’s just about to pull my pants down my hips when the floodlights come on causing me to shriek.

“Gladys, put your headphones on! The racoons are back!”

We hear a door and jump behind a nearby bush.

  “What’s that Leslie?”

“The racoons are back! Just wanted to warn you, but don’t worry. I’m gonna try to scare them away with my broom!”

I look at Grant and burst out laughing. “Busted!”

“Take my granddaughter home young man.” Mimi says before closing the back door.

The lights go off and neither of us have moved a muscle.

“I can’t see your grandmother for a year. Maybe five.”

“You better get over that really quick because she’s requested you for dinner next Friday.”

  “Fuck.” He groans.

I laugh my ass off all the way home.

Do we really sound like dying racoons?

  I’M ALLERGIC TO DOGS

  “How was LA?”

We’re sitting around with Rylan and Trevor. They just got back from their trip to LA and I’m dying to hear about how it went. I got a few texts from Ry about their sister’s new boyfriend.

“Man, LA can be exhausting after a while. How we grew up there and remained normal I’ll never know. You should see Cally’s new boyfriend.” Trevor rolls his eyes. “He likes to meditate before dawn and eats from his organic garden because he eats vegan. Get this, he lives in a tent in mom and dad’s backyard! I tried scaring him out of there but Cally threw a hissy fit. The douchebag even has her showering twice a week to conserve water.”

“You’re lying. Nothing would make little miss geromophobe shower twice a week!” Grant says in disbelief.

“I shit you not. Her hair was greasier than a Walmart parking lot.”

I run to the kitchen after asking everyone what they want to drink. Carefully placing all four drinks in my arms is tricky, but I get it done and head back to the guys.

“Agnes know your plans?” That stops me outside the room and perks my ears up.

“Not yet, but I’m very confident she’ll say yes.”

“I don’t know Grant, you know how she is with money. And this isn’t a little thing like shoes or a car.”

A car? What the hell are they talking about?

“Plans for what?” I question walking around the corner.

“Fuck me.” Grant mumbles to himself.

  “Plans?” I ask again.

“We’ll talk about it later Aggie.”

After narrowing my eyes, I take a seat on the couch.

Dinner is the best I’ve had in a while. I’ve missed Ry and Trev since they left a little over a week ago. I’m still trying to figure them out though. They always leave me baffled with how they talk about women they’ve been with. Maybe it’s the fact that I read too many romance books, but I’m thinking they’re talking about the same women half the time in their stories. Every time they joke around about a girl they usually imply they’ve each been with her. “Remember tiffany? She could give Jenna Jameson a run for her money.” “How could I forget her? She had her tongue pierced!”

Whenever they talk like this I usually slyly look towards Grant in confusion and he winks at me. That’s not an answer buddy! After all these months, I’m dying to know what their deal is!

“We ran into Michelle when we were there.”

  “Don’t care.” Grant barely acknowledges.

“Well, you should have seen how funny it was. She was walking down the street with Randy arm and arm and a baby strapped to her chest. She had a giant stain of baby puke on her white jumpsuit and it looked like she hadn’t showered in a month. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. She’s lucky that sorry sack took her back otherwise she’d be up shit creek.” Trevor tells us.

Grant looks at his brother. “She’s not a bad person, she just made bad choices. I don’t wish her any ill will especially that baby. I honestly hope she turns her life around and is the best mother she can be.”

“Touchy, touchy. No problem, her name is now wiped from my memory.”

A little while later Grant walks his brothers to the door after they both kiss my cheek goodbye. Once he sits next to me on the couch I pounce. “What’s the verdict?”

“I don’t know why you think my parents would say something bad about you. When you meet them they’ll love you like I do. You have to relax. From the sounds of it, my sister’s boyfriend is the topic o
f the conversation in the Donovan family.”

“Stop, are you sure they didn’t say anything to them about me?” I was sure they’d have some smack talk from their parents about me. Maybe they really are nice people? There’s an epiphany on the rise about not all parents being assholes like mine when grant busts through my thoughts.

“The running joke in the family is that I’m five years older than you. It’s five years for crying out loud, not twenty!”

  “You’re such a cradle robber.” I laugh.

“Ugh. Ry’s one to talk. His ex-girlfriend was fresh out of high school a few years back.”

  “Gross, what’s the appeal?”

“Not a fucking clue. I love a real woman.”

“I’m wise beyond my years so the five years cancels out.”

“You represent your name like a true Agnes.” He chuckles.

I sit up and face him with my legs crossed under my butt remembering what I heard earlier. “What are these plans? Out with it!”

He looks confused until I clarify reminding him about what I heard earlier.

“I’ve been meeting with a realtor.”

“Finally scouting locations for the next restaurant in the city?”

  “Not exactly.” He looks nervous.

  “Okayyyy. Then why?”

“I wanted to talk to you about moving.”

  “But… I just moved in.”

“You didn’t just move in. That was two months ago. But, how about we move out… together? To a bigger house.”

“You don’t want to live in the city anymore?”

“I love the city but it isn’t exactly great for…uh…” He rubs the back of his neck with his hand. “Raising kids.”

I get light headed and put my head between my legs. “When the fuck did I become pregnant?” I whisper to myself.

Grant laughs. “I’m not saying you are… although it’s been a long ass time since you’ve had your period.”

Crap. Think Agnes. Four… six… eight. Damn, I am way past due for my period. How the hell does he know my body better than me?

“You’re a creep you know that?”

“I’m also a creep that picked up a pregnancy test.”

My heart starts beating because this is insane. Never in my life have I had to take a pregnancy test. It must be stress or something, I’ve been on the pill for months now.
