Feels So Right, It Must Be Wrong Page 6

"I just know. She hasn't liked me since the first time you took me home when I was a teenager. I can tell by the way she treats me. She just tolerates me because of you."

Knowledge waved Chelsea off. "Patience is naturally mean. She treats everybody like that. Plus she ain't never told me she doesn't like you."

"Whatever. So where is she staying?"

"In that extra bedroom across from the nursery, of course," he said like she should have already knew that.

His phone started ringing and he reached over to answer it. "Yo!"

"I'm having a little get together at the crib in a hour, come through. Plus we need to discuss some serious matters," Symir said.

"Alright, cool," Knowledge said as his other line beeped. "Hold on, Mir," he said before clicking over.

  "Yo!"

"Stop being so ratchet and bring that ass on," Patience laughed.

"Aw shit, my big me! Where you at?" He smiled.

"Nigga, where you think? At this damn airport, silly."

"You got here early. I'm on my way. Sit tight," he said as he got up.

"Where the hell Imma go Knowledge?"

  "Shut up. Here I come."

He grabbed his keys and kissed Chelsea. "You want me to bring you something back?" he asked.

"Nope, I'm good. I'm about to take a nap," Chelsea said.

  "Alright."

After picking his sister up from the airport, they were on their way to Symir's house to see what was up. "Damn, I miss living down here," Patience said.

"You can always move back," Knowledge said.

"I've been thinking about it. Dad said I should if my heart’s into it. I tried to get him to come with me but you know how that conversation turned out.

"He not going nowhere his woman not going and Ma damn sure not coming back." Knowledge chuckled.

"They are so damn stubborn." Patience shook her head.

"You ain't never lied," he agreed as they pulled up to the house. "We're here."

Patience was in awe. The house was bigger than anything she had ever seen. "Damn, this shit is bad."

"You should see his actual house." Knowledge said as they got out.

"I thought this was his house."

"Nah mami, this is just the party house," Knowledge informed her.

Sasha came running off the porch and went straight to Knowledge. "Hey, Uncle Knowledge. Daddy said you were coming." Sasha was such a sweetheart, she called everybody in the crew‘Uncle’ and treated them as such, but Knowledge was her favorite.

"Oh yea? How are you today?" he asked as he picked her up in a bear hug.

She started laughing before answering. "Good," she said as she looked at Patience. "Hi, you’re pretty."

"Thank you, sweetie. You’re beautiful too," Patience said.

"Thank you. My TT picked out my outfit and did my hair." Sasha smiled.

"Asia here?" Knowledge asked with a raised eyebrow as they walked towards the porch.

"Yup her here with her friend, my new uncle. Him a cutie." She chuckled.

Knowledge didn't miss the fact that she said 'new uncle.' He couldn’t wait to see what that was all about. They heard music as soon as they walked through the door. Symir was walking with Asia following behind him. Asia looked up at Knowledge but turned her head like she didn't see him.

"You wanna take her home with you? I'm giving her away for free," Symir laughed.

  "Daddy silly." Sasha laughed.

"Come on Sasha. Let’s go check on mommy," Asia said as she took her niece out of Knowledge’s arms. She turned around without speaking a word to him.

"Who do we have here?" Symir asked, choosing to ignore the tension between Asia and Knowledge.

"Mir, this is my sister Patience, Patience this is Symir."

"Nice to meet you," Patience said as she shook his hand.

"Likewise," Symir said as Asia and Sasha walked back over to them.

"She's sleep," Asia told her brother. He nodded his head okay. Asia was about to walk away again but Symir stopped her.

"Asia, this is Knowledge's sister, Patience. This is my sister Asia," he introduced the two since Knowledge didn't.

"Hi." Asia smiled. Patience and Knowledge resembled each other so much it was crazy.

"Hello." Patience shook her hand. "I love that necklace," she complemented.

"Thank you, it was a birthday present," Asia said dryly.

Knowledge was about say something to Asia until some unknown dude he had never seen before walked up on her with her son in his arms. "Hey, mommy baby. Did you have fun playing basketball?" Asia kissed her son.

"He beat me." The dude laughed before kissing her cheek. That made Knowledge's eye twitch.

"I told you he was good." She laughed. "Y'all ready to eat?"

  "Yup."

"Alright. Go outside and sit while I fix y'all plate," Asia instructed.

Symir just sat back and watched Knowledge's expression. He could tell he was trying to keep his cool. Truth be told, he was the one who told Asia to bring DeNiko. Not only was he Anika’s brother, but he and Asia had a little something going on before she and Khyree got together. Asia walked away and head to the kitchen. "Knowledge take your sister outside and show her around or something," Symir said.

He walked up the stairs to his bedroom. He saw Nika sprawled over the bed. Since the day he walked up on Linx beating her, she had been staying with him. He was going to send her back to rehab but he didn't want Linx coming after her again so he kept her close to him. In the month that she had been with him, she gained weight, her skin cleared up, and she hadn’t been feigning anymore. He figured she just needed to be surrounded by love.

"Nika, wake up." He shook her lightly.

  "Huh?" She woke up.

"You coming down? Sasha was looking for you."

Nika shook her head no. "I'm not about to embarrass you. I'll stay up here."

Symir walked over to the closet and picked out a dress for her. He walked back to the bed and pulled the covers back. "Put this on and come on," he said sternly.

  "Mir, I--"

"What I say? Less talking and more moving. Everybody down there knew you with an exception of two people. You ain't no stranger, so bring ya ass," he said with his arms folded to let her know he wasn't playing with her.

Knowing he was serious, she put the dress on without another word. She walked in the bathroom and brushed her hair that had also grown since she had been with him. "Happy now?" she asked.

"Yup, now let's go." He grabbed her hand and led her out the bedroom. "Plus, you getting that fat ass back. The more you eat, the fatter it gets." He smiled and slapped her on the ass.

"You are such a pervert." Nika shook her head. They walked outside to the backyard where the party was under way. Asia walked over to them and smiled. She had always looked at Nika like a big sister.

"Aw shit, I see I got a little competition here. That dress is bad, boo. I wonder who picked it out." Asia smiled.

"You are so full of it, Asia Latrice. But I do have to give you your props. This dress is hot." Nika smiled.

"Thank you baby. Now get ya ass over there and fix a plate. I already took care of Sasha so you don't have to worry about her. I'll be back," Asia said before blowing both of them a kiss.

Knowledge tapped his sister to let her know that he would be right back. He followed Asia back into the house and caught her just as she was about to walk past the bathroom. He grabbed her by her waist from behind and buried his face into her neck.

"Get off me, Omari," Asia tried to push him off of her.

"Stop playing. You know you miss me," he said, pulling her into the bathroom and shutting the door.

"I ain't been thinking about yo ass, now move." She rolled her eyes.

"You mad me at?" He kissed her neck. "I'm sorry," he said as he backed her up against the sink.

"Move, Omari. I'm not about to go there with you," she said as she tried to push him back but he slapped her hands out the way. He lift
ed her dress up to find she didn't have any panties on. He smiled and licked his lips. Just the thought of her being with or even seeing another nigga ignited something in him.

"You didn't give my pussy up, did you? I told you this shit was mine."

"Yea, but that was before you stopped fucking with us. So I had to find someone else to take care of us," Asia lied. She hadn't been with anyone else but she didn't want him to know that. Knowledge took two fingers and shoved them up in her. "Ahhh!" Asia cried out.

"Liar, it's still tight. Just how I left it," he called her bluff. He bent down and dove in head first. He licked away like he was licking a melting Popsicle. Asia's head fell back and her eyes rolled in the back of her head. He pumped those two fingers in and out of her while he ate her like it was his last meal.

Asia's legs started to shake and he smiled to himself. He didn't do this shit too often but he knew he had some good ass skills whenever he did it. Asia released her juices all over his face and he made sure he licked up every single drop.

Asia tried to close her legs and pull down her dress but he stopped her. "Leave that shit alone. I'm not done with you," he demanded. He bent down and stuck his tongue in her mouth, letting her taste her own juices.

"Ahh, shit." Asia moaned as he slid in her. She hadn't even noticed when he unbuckled his belt or unbuttoned his pants. She still hadn't gotten used to his size yet so there was still a little pain. She kissed his chest as she dug her nails in his back.

"Fuck!" he called out. He still couldn't believe how tight Asia was. If she didn't have a son, he would have sworn she was a virgin. "I fucking missed you girl."

He wasn't lying. He thought staying away from her would keep his mind off of her but it just made matters worse. He started yearning for her and to be around her. He didn't know what it was but he just couldn't leave her alone; not that he wanted to.

He pushed her legs back and started drilling into her hard. He wasn't a minute man by any means but there was something about her pussy that always made him bust faster than he wanted to. "Shitttt!" he cussed as he released his seeds inside of her.

Asia fell back against the mirror while he grabbed a rag to wash them off. After he was done, he kissed Asia and slapped her thigh. "I'll be over tonight," he said before walking out of the bathroom. Asia couldn't move. Her legs felt like Jell-O. She was mad at herself for being so weak around him. She should have put her foot down and told him no. It was too late to dwell on it so she got herself together and walked out of the bathroom.

Now that play time was over, it was time to get down to business. Symir had everyone sitting in his basement wondering what was so important that he had to call a meeting in the middle of the night. Usually they only had meetings once a month but this would be their second meeting in one month.

“Alright, I know you all are probably wondering why I called this meeting so I won’t keep you in suspense any longer. Apparently, my name was involved in a discussion down at the police station. Someone called in and gave a tip about some drug related activity going on and I guess my name was the one associated with it.”

That bit of information made everyone gasp and look around as they wondered what the hell was going. Symir had been running this shit successfully for years and they never had any problems, ever.

“Don’t worry, I had our friends down at the station get rid of the allegations. They went to check it out,and of course they couldn’t find anything. But I told them to keep their ears open just in case we have any more problems.

This was one of the main reasons he kept police officers and judges on his payroll, for the special occasions when shit like this happened. He knew shit could get real at any moment and he was always prepared, even when he didn’t need to be.

“So do you think it was a set up or something? Becauseshit like this doesn’t just happen,” Asia asked.

“Honestly, I don’t know what it is but you can never be too sure,” Symir said.

Asia nodded her head. She would hate for her brother to get locked up on Fed charges. He was all she had besides Crystal and her son. Shehad no one else in her corner. She didn’t know what she would do without him and she didn’t ever want to find out.

“Just keep your eyes open and watch your back at all times. Be on your P’s and Q’s. Whatever you do,just make sure you don’t get caught slipping,” he said.

Symir didn’t want to admit it, but he did feel a conspiracy brewing. Somebody was mad at him for whatever reason so they were trying to go after his freedom. Hedidn’t know who or for what reason, but he sure would be watching any and everybody from here on out.

Everything in Knowledge's life was going great. His daughter would be entering the world soon, business was booming and he had two women in his life that he cared for deeply. He knew he was supposed to be feeling bad for playing both Asia and Chelsea, but he didn't. They both just did something to him that he couldn't explain and he didn't want to lose or give up either one of them.

"Knowledge, I have to get back to North Carolina," Chelsea said.

  "Why, what's up?"

"My sister just called and told me that mama is sick and doesn't want anyone to know. She wouldn't tell me what's wrong but she wants me to come home to see her so she's driving down here to get me since I'm too far along to fly," Chelsea explained.

"Alright, so when are you leaving?" Knowledge asked.

"You mean when are we leaving?" Chelsea retorted.

"No, I said it right. When are you leaving? You already know me and yo mommy can't stand each other so ain't no point in me going."

Chelsea knew there was no point in arguing with him because once he set his mind on something there was no changing it. Just this one time she wished he would put his ego and pride aside and be there for her.

Knowledge shook his head and ran upstairs to get dressed. He had to meet with Symir in an hour so they could handle some business. Apparently, one of his clients had been holding out and not giving him all his money. It had been a while since Knowledge had to get down and dirty, but he was always ready for whatever.

Knock, knock.“Can I come in,big head?”Patience asked from the other side of the door.

  “Yea, come on,”he said.

Patience walked in with her arms folded across her chest. Sheeyed her brother suspiciously. Knowledge didn’t miss the look his sister was giving him. He went to the closet to grab his gun before returning to the room.“Speak ya mind, girl,”he said.

“Do you lover her?”Patience asked the question that had been weighing on her mind heavily since the day she met Asia. She noticed the way they looked at each other and it was pretty obvious by the way they were acting and the fact that they disappeared for a while together that they have something going on. She was never the type to probe into her brother’s business, but this one she just had to know about.

“What you talking about?”he asked, playing dumb.

“She seems very cool. The little time I was around her, I got a good vibe from her,”she said, ignoring his question.“Now answer me. Doyou love her?”

Knowledge stopped in his tracks and thought about that question for a minute. Do I love her?He knew he felt something deep for her but he didn’t think it was love yet.“Honestly, I don’t know,”he answered.

“Well, you know I have your back no matter what and whatever choice you make in the end, I will back you one hundred percent. But from big sister to little brother, you can’t keep playing both of them for too much longer because when they find out about each other, there will be hell to pay and you won’t have to worry about losing one of them because you’ll end up losing both of them,”Patience said before leaving the room.

He knew his sister was spitting some real shit and that's exactly why he loved her. She had his back through whatever but had no problems checking him or calling him out on his bullshit. He knew he had to get his shit together, but it was ten times easier said than it was to
do.

Everyone met up at Symir's party house to go over the final plan. He wasn't about to bullshit with Demarco Nye tonight. He had given him ample opportunity to give him his money but the nigga thought Symir as playing with him, so he was going to show him what playing games would get you.

"Let's try to make this shit as simple as possible. Get in, get my money and get out. If that nigga think about trying some dumb shit--"

"He'll never be able to think again," Asia said as she walked in the house dressed in all black from head to toe. She had on a black leather jacket on top of a black cat suit with black Giuseppe sneakers.

"Asia, what you doing here?" Symir asked. He didn't tell her about this mission for a reason. He wanted her to fall back a little because he didn't want her in this life no more.

"What you think? I came to put in work just like everyone else here is. We'll discuss why you didn't feel the need to call me later. But for now, let's talk business," she said.

"Why don't you sit this one out? Who called you anyways?" Symir asked.

"Nah, I'm good and that's not really relevant right now."

  "I wasn't asking you."

"Look, I haven't had a daddy in twelve years and I damn sure don't need one now, so let's do this shit," she said with an attitude. She wasn't about to go there with him tonight. He always pulled this bullshit with her then would eventually change his mind.

"I think you need to listen to your brother," Knowledge spoke up. "And all that attitude ain't necessary, especially when he's just trying to look out for you."

"I didn't ask you." She rolled her eyes. "Cordae, I'll be in your car waiting," she said before making an about face out the door. She was sick of people always trying to tell her what to do. She was a grown ass twenty year old woman who was capable of making her own decisions and dictating her own life.

"Imma fuck her up!" Symir said as he got up and headed for the door. He didn't know what the fuck was wrong with his sister, but he was about to set her ass straight. "Y'all gear up and let's go," he said without turning around.

"You called her, didn't you?" Knowledge asked Cordae.

"She comes along any other time, so why not this time?" Cordae shrugged.
